Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Internet Church Service – July 17, 2022; Can God Use The Edification Complex To Save The Nation?

Be sure that you all understand that the spiritual gifts are given as your provision to use your gifts to build up and edify others with you talents and your spiritual gifts.

The key word here is edification.

To edify means to build a house which is what the spiritual gifts are given for.

"My Father will love him" is the fut-act-ind of agapao which refers to God the Father being pleased toward us and totally relaxed with us.

God the Father loves the entire world but this love is in the future tense because it refers to a God the Father revealing His approval of the system of thinking in our soul as the gifts in the body of Christ work together to build an edification complex in the body of Christ.

The key here is the word "abode" which is the noun monen, which means a mansion, a place of rest and enjoyment, or a dwelling place.

When the body of Christ is being built up by means of the spiritual gifts, God is glorified.

Remember that the Lord has gone

to heaven to prepare a dwelling place for us while on earth we can prepare a dwelling place for Him in the body of Christ.

The mansion is in the soul and it has to do with the structure of the soul or the edification complex.

So, what is the edification complex?

Now, with this in mind I want to note the relationship between the altars of the Old Testament versus the altars of the New Testament.

For example, Heb 13:9 says: Do not be carried away by varied and strange doctrines; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace,

Then it says in the next verse, Heb 13:10 We have an altar [a reference to the soul], from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

Now, the altar for the Church-age believer is his very own soul being built up in the body of Christ.

With this in mind, I want you make some correlations.

Remember that the altars in the O.T. were built for a place of worship.

This means that the right thing MUST be done in the right way.

In Gen 8:20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord.

In Gen 12:7, Abram built an altar there to the Lord Who had appeared to him.

This is a reference to Jesus Christ in the Old Testament.

Notice the word "built" and the fact that they built the altar "to the Lord" themselves.

In Gen 22:9, the altar was also the place of personal sacrifice, Abraham built the altar and bound his son Isaac, and laid him on the altar.

In Exo 17:15, Moses built an altar, and named it "The Lord Is My Banner."

In Jos 8:30 Then Joshua built an altar to the Lord, the God of Israel.

In 2Sa 24:25, And David built there an altar to the Lord.

Now, In the N.T., your altar is your very own soul structure or your edification complex.

For example, the altar was the place of sacrifice to the Lord, Exo 20:24 "You shall make an altar of earth for me, and you shall sacrifice on it."

Secondly, the altar had to be constructed according to the Word of God, Jos 8:31 "As it is written in the book of the Law of Moses, build an altar."

Thirdly, the altar was to be constructed precisely and accurately, Eze 43:13 "and these are the measurements of the altar by cubits."

Our altar is a very own soul or our edification complex which is developed in the body of Christ through the spiritual gifts.

Notice that it is the condition of the altar that sanctifies the offering and it is the condition of your soul that sanctifies your production and works through the exercise of your spiritual gifts.

Therefore, with that in mind we need to note The Doctrine Of The Edification Complex Of The Soul.

Point 1, the Etymology. Etymology is simply the history of a word and how it was used at the time that the Bible was written.

The doctrine of edification is based on categorizing the Greek noun oikodome which means the building of a house within your soul.

Oikodome

oikos = "a home"

demo = "to build"

This word is used only figuratively in the New Testament in the sense of edification and the promotion of spiritual growth into the body of Christ through the exercise of your spiritual gift.

In our doctrine it refers to the spiritual growth of the positive believer, and the momentum in the Christian way of life.

Point 2, Definition and Description, the edification complex of the soul is technical nomenclature found in the epistles of the New Testament for the attainment of building a home or a house for God which we call the spiritual gifts building up a body of Christ or a new man.

For example, the goal is to produce 2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, {he is} a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Or Gal 6:15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Eph 2:15 that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, {thus} establishing peace,

Eph 4:24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Col 3:10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him

Under Point 3 we noted The Importance of the Pastor's Authority in Edification.

Point 4, The Motivation of the Believer in Edification.

Positive volition concerning edification is expressed in such passages as Rom 14:19 So then let us run after [pursue] those things related to prosperity and edification through the spiritual gifts making us brand new."

Under Point 5, Edification is the key to the proper function of the local church.

Point 6, Edification follows the pattern of the priority solution.

Priority #1 for edification must be perception, metabolization, and application of the mystery doctrine for the Church Age.

Point 7, The Construction of the Edification Complex of the Soul.

1. Foundation: Your eternal salvation.

2Ti 2:19 "Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal; the Lord knows those who are His."

1. Second floor: Dispensational orientation, i.e., understanding the uniqueness of the Church Age.

We have ten unique things in the Church-age that believers in other dispensations did not possess.

1. The baptism of the Spirit results in the creation of a new spiritual species and the royal family of God.

2. The PPOG [predesigned plan of God] plan is unique for the royal family of God only.

3. A phenomenal portfolio of invisible assets belongs to each one of us as royal family of God.

4. For the first time in history, every believer, regardless of his background, attainments or lack of attainments, handicaps, success, or any other distinguishing human factor, has equality given by God Himself.

5. We have our unique royal commissions: royal priesthood and royal ambassadorship.

6. We have the unique mystery doctrines of the Church-age.

7. Every member of the Trinity indwells every believer. This never existed before in history.

8. We have the unique availability of divine power.

9. This is the first time in history when there are no prophecies to be fulfilled during the Church-age.

10. This is the dispensation of invisible heroes.

The third floor in the edification complex is made up of the problem-solving devices, which are very important for experiential Christianity.

There are two ways in which problems are properly resolved: through the use of the ten problem solving devices, and through cognizance of specific principles in the Word of God.

The problem-solving devices include the rebound technique, the filling of the Spirit, the faith-rest drill, grace orientation, doctrinal orientation, a personal sense of destiny.

Personal love for God the Father, impersonal love for all mankind, +H or sharing the happiness of God, and occupation with Christ as the priority solution to life.

Fourth floor: Spiritual self-esteem, the first stage of spiritual adulthood.

Suffering for blessing begins in spiritual self-esteem, specifically providential preventative suffering.

Spiritual self-esteem plus providential preventative suffering equals spiritual autonomy.

We do not advance past spiritual self-esteem unless we pass the four tests of providential preventative suffering: people, thought, system, and undeserved suffering.

Fifth floor: Spiritual autonomy, the second stage of spiritual adulthood. The fifth floor is spiritual autonomy characterized by cognitive independence.

Sixth floor: Spiritual maturity, the point at which we execute the PPOG of God. The sixth floor is spiritual maturity characterized by cognitive invincibility.

Spiritual maturity plus evidence testing equals glorification of God to the maximum as a witness for the Prosecution in the rebuttal phase of Satan's appeal trial, which runs conterminously with human history.

Seventh floor: The modus operandi of the invisible hero.

Invisible God plus invisible assets plus invisible power equals invisible heroes.

Personal impact - blessing by association to others.

Historical impact - blessing by association to the client nation as a part of the pivot of mature believers.

International impact - blessing by association to non-client nations through missionary activity of invisible heroes.

Angelic impact - the invisible hero becoming a witness for God against Satan in Satan's appeal trial.

Heritage impact - blessing by association to loved ones after the death of the invisible hero.

Therefore, the results of construction of the edification complex of the soul are:

1. The manufacture of an invisible hero and the five areas of invisible impact.

3. The distribution of escrow blessings for time.

4. The anticipation of escrow blessings for the eternal state, received at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
