Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV [New King James Version]; we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Study to show yourself approved to God!

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:

The Angelic Conflict - Part 26 - The formal presentation of the case: the prosecution presents its case, followed by the defense presenting its case - Old Testament history.

The rebuttal phase: rebuttal arguments of the prosecution [God] followed by the rebuttal arguments of the defense [Satan].

There are only two dispensations where Christ lives inside of man, the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union and the Church-age.

His justice is revealed by His fairness in dealing with the fall of mankind and by judging sin.

righteousness is revealed by His willingness to forsake His own Son while judging sin.

His love is revealed by His offering salvation to anyone who would believe upon TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ].

Our Lord and the invisible heroes of the Church-age are the main witnesses for the prosecution.

In the Supreme court of heaven, the laws of evidence demand investigation of each accusation based on two or three witnesses interrogated independently and agreeing to their testimony.

Deut 19:15 “A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.”

Ac 1:8 but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

The third group of witnesses will be Old Testament winners, Tribulational winners and Millennial winners.

The first set of books are records of every good deed every member of the human race has ever done, all adding up to -R.

The book of life at one time contained the name of every member of the human race (unlimited atonement), but names are blotted out when someone rejects Christ as Savior.

The chief witness in all of human history is the humanity of Jesus Christ in Hypostatic Union, the strategic witness.

The other witnesses are invisible heroes, believers who execute the [predesigned plan in the Church-age, tactical witnesses.

Tactical = relating to combat tactics as involving actions or means of less magnitude or at a shorter distance from a base of operations that those of strategy.

Our Lord accomplished the strategic victory of the angelic conflict through His salvation ministry on the cross plus His physical death, burial, resurrection and ascension.

The believer accomplishes the tactical victory of the angelic conflict through his advance to spiritual maturity in the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], at this point he becomes an invisible hero.

The Church-age is the most important phase of all in the angelic conflict, outside of the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

Every believer has equal privilege and equal opportunity to execute God’s plan.

A fantastic doctrine like this not only explains why we are really here, but it also should provide for you a personal sense of destiny.

Internet Church Service – June 25, 2023; The Angelic Conflict - Part 25 is in HD Audio ONLY; with hover pop-up scripture references in Notes.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 25 - Point 7. - The Courtroom Trial of the Angelic Conflict.

The chief antagonist in the angelic conflict is called Satan or the devil.

Hebrew title = ha Satan = an attorney who slanders and gets away with it because of some legal loophole, an adversary.

Greek name = diabolos [devil] = an adversary, an attorney in opposition in law, or a slanderer.

An appeal is presumed from the lapse of time between the sentence of fallen angels (Mat 25:41) in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the termination of human history (Rev 20:10).

(Mat 25:41) - Human history - (Rev 20:10)

Between the passing of the sentence in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the end of the Millennium, an appeal trial is occurring in human history.

Human history is the actual courtroom for that trial, and mankind was created to be a part of that trial.

The formal presentation of the case: the prosecution presents its case, followed by the defense presenting its case.

The trial phase begins with the fall of man in the garden and continues until the beginning of the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

The fall of man in the garden of Eden actually duplicates the fall of Satan in the garden of God (perfect environment).

God created man as a rational creature lower than angels, duplicating at a reduced scale, the conditions of the prehistoric angelic conflict.

Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely;

Gen 2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it dying spiritually you will die physically.”

When Adam and the woman sinned, Satan became the ruler of planet earth, from which position Satan provides the defense in the historical appeal trial of all fallen angels, 2Co 4:4.

The courtroom is planet earth because planet earth was the same place the angelic conflict took place in before.

God entered His evidence by creating man just as the angels were created: innocent with the potential to love and worship God through right decisions and to become imperfect by wrong decisions.

Satan had been created in perfect innocence; Adam was created in perfect innocence. The angels have free will; man has free will.

Adam freely and deliberately chose to follow the pattern of arrogance which characterized Satan’s original revolution, Isa 14:12-14.

The rebellion of Satan in the garden of God resulted in the fall of angelic creatures. Rev 12:4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven.

The rebellion of Adam in the garden of Eden resulted in the fall of mankind. Rom 5:12 Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned.

In angelic history, God had provided a decision making process by which angels could express non-meritorious positive volition, so there are elect and fallen angels!

The Bible seems to reveal some sort of reconciliation for angels, Col 1:20, Phil 2:10, Heb 2:2.

God provided salvation for all so that man can express non-meritorious positive volition through faith in Christ (John 3:16).

Through the exercise of their free will, angels are divided into two categories: elect and fallen angels (Rev 12:7, 1Ti 5:21, Mat 25:41, Mar 8:38).

Through the exercise of their free will mankind is divided into two categories: believers and unbelievers (John 3:36).

The rebuttal phase: rebuttal arguments of the prosecution [God] followed by the rebuttal arguments of the defense [Satan].

The rebuttal phase of the prosecution is coterminous with the Christocentric dispensations = the hypostatic union and the Church-age.

There are only two dispensations in human history where Christ lives inside of man, the hypostatic union and the Church-age.

1Ti 3:16 And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Beheld by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

These two dispensations are when God presents His case and reveals His justice and righteousness and love.

Our Lord and the invisible heroes of the Church-age are the main witnesses for the prosecution.

Legitimate evidence is based on two or three witnesses being interrogated independently and agreeing to their testimony.

Is God just or unjust? Has God been fair with His creatures? How can a loving God cast His creatures in the lake of fire?

In the Supreme court of heaven, the laws of evidence demand investigation of each accusation based on two or three witnesses interrogated independently and agreeing to their testimony.

Deut 19:15 “A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.”

Num 35:30 If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death at the evidence of witnesses, but no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness.

Deut 17:6 On the evidence of two witnesses or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness.

Hymn #2

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Internet Church Service – June 18, 2023; The Angelic Conflict - Part 24 is in HD Audio ONLY; with hover pop-up scripture references in Notes.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 24 - Satan probably argued, “How can a loving God put His own creatures into the lake of fire forever?”

An appeal is presumed from the lapse of time between the sentence of fallen angels (Mat 25:41) in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the termination of human history (Rev 20:10).

Mat 25:41 Then He will also say to those on His left, “Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;”

Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

(Mat 25:41) - Human history - (Rev 20:10)

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever”

Between the passing of the sentence in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the end of the Millennium and the Gog revolution, an appeal trial is occurring in human history.

Mark 9:23 “If You can! All things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 11:23 Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be {granted} him.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.

Human history is the actual courtroom for that trial, and mankind was created to be a part of that trial.

The formal presentation of the case: the prosecution presents its case, followed by the defense presenting its case.

The rebuttal phase: the rebuttal arguments of the prosecution [God] followed by the rebuttal arguments of the defense [Satan].

The closing argument and summary: first by the prosecution [God] and then by the defense [Satan].

The trial phase begins with the fall of man in the garden and continues until the beginning of the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

The fall of man in the garden of Eden actually duplicates the fall of Satan in the garden of God.

God created man as a rational creature lower than angels, duplicating at a reduced scale, the conditions of the prehistoric angelic conflict.

With the fall of Adam, Satan became the ruler of planet earth, from which position Satan provides the defense in the historical appeal trial of all fallen angels, 2Co 4:4.

Eze 28 - Satan led all the angels on earth in worship toward God on planet earth.

God entered His evidence by creating man just as the angels were created: innocent with the potential to love and worship God through right decisions and to become imperfect by wrong decisions.

Rom 5:12 Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned

The Bible seems to reveal some sort of reconciliation for angels, Col 1:20, Phil 2:10, Heb 2:2.

In angelic history, God had provided a decision making process by which angels could express non-meritorious positive volition, so there are elect and fallen angels!

God provided salvation for all so that man can express non-meritorious positive volition through faith in Christ (John 3:16).

Through the exercise of their free will, angels are divided into two categories: elect and fallen angels (Rev 12:7, 1Ti 5:21, Mat 25:41, Mark 8:38).

Through the exercise of their free will mankind is divided into two categories: believers and unbelievers (John 3:36).

Internet Church Service – June 11, 2023; The Angelic Conflict - Part 23 is in HD Audio ONLY; with hover pop-up scripture references in Notes.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 23 - The angelic conflict is the result of prehistoric creatures being in opposition to God which began with the fall of Satan and continued until all angelic creatures had made a decision for or against God.

Point 7. - The Courtroom Trial of the Angelic Conflict

The chief antagonist in the angelic conflict is called Satan or the devil. Hebrew name = heylel = shining one or morning star.

Hebrew title = heylel Satan = an attorney who slanders and gets away with it because of some legal loophole, an adversary.

Greek name = diabolos [devil] = an adversary, an attorney in opposition in law, or a slanderer.

Satan is constantly bringing accusations against believers into the Supreme Court of Heaven, Zec 3:1; Rev 12:10, Job 1:11, 2:5.

Rev 12:10 “the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.”

While the devil persecutes believers are earth, he prosecutes believers in heaven.

Satan uses rank and file demons who specialize in investigating members of the human race under satanic scrutiny.

Zec 3:1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.

Zec 3:2 And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

Zec 3:3-4 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel. And he spoke and said to those who were standing before him saying,

“Remove the filthy garments from him.” Again he said to him, “See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes.”

When Satan makes accusations against us, our Lord Jesus Christ acts as our defense attorney, with the doctrine of propitiation (satisfaction of God the Father with the work of Christ on the cross).

Propitiation = God is satisfied with the work of Jesus Christ on the cross regarding your past, your present and your future!

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head, and gave up His spirit.

After being judged for our sins our Lord said, “TETELESTAI.” “Finished in the past with the result that it stands finished forever.”

The intensive perfect refers to a completed action with emphasis on existing results of that past action.

Heb 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And I will remember their sins no more.” Heb 10:17 “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

present state = salvation is available. past action = Jesus Christ was judged for our sins.

passive voice = Jesus Christ was being acted upon by God the Father, who imputed our sins to Jesus Christ and judged all of them.

The omnipotence of the Father imputed all our sins to Christ on the cross.

The justice of the Father judged every sin in human history.

The love of the Father offered salvation to anyone who would believe.

Rom 5:8 “God commends His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died as a substitute for us.”

You can take absolutely zero credit for faith; none of us earn or deserve salvation.

The only condition for eternal life is non-meritorious personal faith in Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary spiritual death on the cross provided all the efficacious work for salvation.

Anytime anyone adds baptism or any system of works he has rejected the work of Christ on the cross.

Php 3:18 - an enemy of the cross of Christ,

Under the law of double jeopardy, these sins cannot be re-tried in heaven or judged again; they have already been judged on the cross!

Rom 6:10 For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all
