Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] your sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV [New King James Version]; we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Study to show yourself approved to God!

STUDY TITLE:

Weekly Bible Study, November 27, 2023, The Doctrine of The Mental Attitude, Part 1.

The Doctrine of The Mental Attitude, Part 1.

There is great comfort from love according to Php 2:1. In other words, there is great comfort, relief, guidance, and cheer in our occupation with Christ. When you start falling in love with God through knowledge of His word, you will receive comfort and guidance. And furthermore, it will serve to establish impersonal love towards others. Occupation with the Lord Jesus Christ builds within the believer a relaxed mental attitude (RMA). It is this RMA which offers the believer the ability to handle problems in life without losing momentum in the spiritual life.

This phrase found in Php 2:1 "since there is comfort from love" has caused us to look into a very important doctrine this week, "Category One Love."

Category One Love is the believer's personal love toward God. It refers to the believer's capacity to love God apart from emotions. This love is based on knowledge of God from one's thought content of the soul. It is not a tear filled session of feeling what you think God is, but is a constant through process of knowing and trusting in who and what God is. To love God is the most important commandment found in His word, Deut 6:5; 11:13; 10:12.

There are four categories of love, of which personal love for God is the first. The second is the love found between right-man/right-woman, Pr 18:22; 19:14; Gen 2:18,22; Ecc 9:9; 1Co 7:17.

The third is the love shared between friends and the fourth is impersonal love for all mankind. Without the first category none of the following categories of love function properly. If we are not right with God our relationships with people will never be what they could be. So then, how do we get right with God? This is ascertained through the daily function of the believer's perception, metabolization, and application of God's word. Apart from the worship of God's word it is impossible to love God, Heb 12:2. Since God is invisible, the means of category one love is His word. Because we cannot see, feel, or touch God our relationship with Him must be based on knowing Him by what the word of God, correctly translated from the original languages, tells us about Him. It is the eyes of the soul which sees God, Job 42:5; Exo 33:20; Jn 1:18. If we believe in Him we will believe in what He says, 1Pe 1:8. Category one love takes consistency in both the inhale and exhale of God's word, the inhale being the metabolized doctrine in your own soul and the exhale being the attitude you extend toward others.

Therefore, category one love sets up the standard for grace, Psa 31:23; 119:132. Grace Orientation (G.O.) takes capacity and can only come via personal love for God. Category one love is the basis for super-grace blessings, 1Co 2:9; Psa 37:4-5.

Jm 4:6 tells us that as you fall in love with God, the more grace blessings you will receive since your capacity for them is strengthened. Category one love is also the basis for personal and national blessing, Deut 30:15-20. It also motivates combat courage and military victory, Joshua 23:10-11.

The pressures of life are designed by the kingdom of darkness to separate us from God. And, the kingdom of darkness has the freedom to issue these pressures due to the angelic conflict. In face of life's pressures it is category one love which provides the believer with the strength for adversity, Heb 11:27; 12:3. As we come to know God we will be more faithful to Him and allow Him to control our lives. GAL 6:9 encourages us not to lose heart but to consider Him (Jesus Christ) who went before us and modeled the unique spiritual life with its unique divine power. Your spiritual life is put into action through your personal love for God. And remember this love is not an emotional type feeling that makes your eyes swell with tears. Personal love for God; i.e., category one love is knowing God through the indoctrination of His word. Hence, there is a special curse on believers who fail to have category one love, 1Co 16:22. Knowledge of God is procured through a disciplined, daily study from the original languages served to the believer by one of God's many gifts... one's pastor-teacher. If Bible doctrine/the word of God is not abiding in you, you do not have category one love, Jn 5:38-42.

To possess category one love is to care what God thinks of you, not what people think of you! People are sick from the top of their heads to the bottom of their toes, Isa 1:5-6. The Lord Jesus Christ never entrusted Himself to man, knowing exactly what was in man (old sin nature), Jn 2:25. The Lord Jesus Christ also stated, "I do not receive glory from men", Jn 5:41. If a believer really loves God it will be manifested by his desire to hear God's word, Jn 8:47. The more the believer grows to know God, the more he desires to know of Him! It's a power and a lifestyle that grows greater as it is fed. If God is the source of your life you will crave the daily hearing of His word. Just as if you are in love with some man or woman you desire to be with them each day, so it is when the believer is in love with God.

Now, the word used in Jn 8:47 for "hear" is the pres/act/ind of akouei which means to hear in an audience; to listen; to concentrate; to understand, learn, and give a hearing, cf Heb 10:25, which states we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together for the purpose of encouragement. This encouragement comes from the word of God, not from people, the phrase encouraging one another is not found in the original manuscripts! If you truly love (based on knowledge of the Lord), you will keep His doctrines, Jn 14:15. To keep in this passage means to guard something that belongs to you, to watch over carefully, to keep, hold, preserve, and pay attention to, hence it also means to retain. Why must His doctrines be guarded in our souls? Rev 3:11 tells us why, because they can be taken away from us! The kingdom of darkness knows very well what to bring into your life to tempt you away from your commitment to the word of God, which is God, Jn 1:1. We are therefore never to take the word of God for granted since Amos 8:11-12 tells us there will come a time when it will not be available.

It is doctrine abiding in Christians, not works, which reveals to the Father how much we love him, Jn 14:21. If you guard or keep God's word in your soul, God's love will be in you, Jn 15:10. Loving God therefore means hating worldliness, or rather hating human viewpoint, Psa 119:113. In this passage hate means to have no respect for it and worldliness points to the double minded, divided thoughts which are placed forth from the skeptics of this world. Having God's mind or Bible doctrine is that which produces God's love in a local assembly, Php 2:2. This unity of mind is that which Paul prayed for in regard to the church at Philippi. Therefore, a manifestation of our personal love for God is our ministering to the saints, Heb 6:10. Loving God is revealed in one's impersonal love toward one another, 1Jo 4:7.

Keeping doctrine is the only way to love with God's love, 1Jo 2:5. Therefore, witnessing must be motivated by category one love, 2Co 5:14. A good witness is not due to one's emotion toward people, but is based on one's love for God. This divine standard is only possible by way of the filling of the Holy Spirit which empowers the believer to execute God's plan, Jn 19:34. The believer is before all else commanded to love the Lord with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and all his strength, Mk 12:29-30. This may seem to be a simple task, but people are visible and God is not. It is therefore much easier to be distracted by that which is tangible than to remain faithful to the invisible. This is why it is imperative to be disciplined in one's intake of the word of God, it is the only way our personal love for God can be cultivated. Our response to God is based on the doctrine we have metabolized in our souls. That is why we are commanded to stop the sin of ignorance in 1Co 15:34 "...and stop sinning, as some have no knowledge of God," the sin mentioned here is having no knowledge of God.

Encouragement is derived from what God says to us through His word, not from what people say or may not say to us. Jm 1:5 "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." This is not to say all we need do is ask and our souls will be magically pumped up with knowledge of God. But if you ask, God will open a means for you to learn His word. If you truly desire to know God He will allow you to know Him, Jer 29:13. And if you truly desire to retain and apply that which you learn of God you can execute the spiritual life, 2Ti 1:13 "Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus." It all depends on your desire to know and love Him. The desire to know God should never be taken for granted since it can be subdued and even squelched by the cares and ways of this world. Hence you are to "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth." 2Ti 2:15. Handling accurately the word of truth is the only way to love God personally!

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. The Angelic Conflict - Part 47 - Point 11. - How God is Glorified in the Angelic Conflict -

Point 12. The Existence of Free Will in the Human Race Perpetuates the Angelic Conflict

Blinding you from the real reason why you are here and taking you away from your right pastor-teacher, Acts 20:28, is the intent and objective of the deceptions from the kingdom of darkness.

A reed or a stalk of a plant shaken by the wind is a metaphor for a person who’s made to waver or sway or vacillate under the pressure of difficult circumstances.

Mark 1:22 They were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Mark 1:27 And they were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority!”

Mark 1:6 John was clothed with camel’s hair and wore a leather belt around his waist.

The clergy of those days wore long robes, phylacteries and tassels on their garments, Mark 12:38, Luk 20:46, Mat 23:5.

In the devil’s world and the angelic conflict a believer will come into times of great perplexity, adversity, and persecution.

Php 1:29 For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

2Ti 3:12 And indeed, all who desire to live [eusebos] the unique spiritual life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

Some of the most humble people on earth were like Moses and John the Baptist; they were very commanding, very authoritative, and very outspoken at times.

Doctrine always exposes the plastic pseudo stereotype Christian who lacks individuality.

He generally concludes that the goal of the Christian life is living moral, but it goes way beyond morality into spirituality.

Sweetness of personality and morality of life are his superficial concepts of what it means to be a Christian.

If the kingdom of darkness can get preconceptions into the minds of God’s people, especially concerning the one who is to teach them about God, then personality and lifestyle becomes the issue rather than the message.

“Warning against False Prophets”

“Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits (Mat 7:15-20).

The warning to the children of God under grace is against false teachers who are to be discerned by their doctrine concerning Christ (2Pe 2:1, 2Jo 1:7-11): never by their lives; for outwardly, false teachers are said to be directly under the power of Satan who himself appears as an angel of light (2Co 11:13-15).

The attractive personality of the false teacher affords great advantage as a background for the appeal he makes for his doctrine.” - Lewis Sperry Chafer

God uses men of all kinds of personalities. Amos was a farmer. Daniel was a scholar.

Jeremiah was very young when he was called into the ministry and tended to be emotional at times because of his patriotism.

Isaiah was an ambassador for a king. Ezekiel was a gruff or harsh character.

You can never ever scrutinize, figure out, and appraise and judge a spiritual man!

1Co 2:15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man.

STUDY TITLE:

Weekly Bible Study, November 20, 2023, The 8 Stages of Reversionism.

The 8 Stages of Reversionism.

Adversity is what we all will have in life, in one form or another. This adversity is inevitable, however the stress is optional. Adversity results from the freewill of man in this world. It is inevitable that the sin of man will hurt each other. Many bad decisions made from the sin nature create havoc in nations, families, and individuals. Adversity also comes from God himself, for example: natural disasters.

God has given us the tools we need to overcome adversities and prevent them from becoming stress within our soul.

Pschology is actually a very precise science when it comes to the analysis of human instability within the soul.

Schizophrenia, manic depression, disassociation, hysteria, psychosis, are results of adversity becoming stress in the soul. Contrary to popular belief, these psychological problems are not just the problems of unbelievers, but also believers in Jesus Christ.

Psychology says that neurosis is lack of psychic energy in the stream of consciousness. Neurosis can be feelings of anxiety, obsessive thoughts, or compulsive acts. Neurosis can lead to what psychologists call a splitting of the mind resulting in split personalities. This condition is far more common than many experts admit. Some people are able to keep their irrationality within the soul, and thus appear to be perfectly normal. Of course, no one fools God. He knows our every thought, our every motive, and he has always known these things. The only defenses against any form of neurosis are the 2 power options, the filling of the Holy Spirit, and the daily intake of the Word of God. The same goes for the unbeliever, however, without belief in Jesus Christ, he can only rely on the divine laws of establishment given to every member of the human race in the Mosaic law.

The unbeliever must rely on honor, integrity, honesty, and upholding rights of life, liberty, privacy, and property given to men that are true divine laws of establishment. Unbelievers that fail to live by the divine laws of establishment, and believers that fail to intake Bible Doctrine in their soul will result in some form of neurosis. Psychology has a vast amount of information on how they can fix a soul. Medication is a good thing if it can bring a person to a point were he can concentrate on the Word of God. However, the Bible emphatically says that human solutions (psychology) are NO solutions, divine solutions (Bible Doctrine and the divine laws of establishment) are the only solutions.

The problem with psychology is focusing on the problem, instead of offering real solutions. As a child, we all form defense mechanisms within our souls to cope with the outside world. The worse the childhood, the more defense mechanisms we develop. Defense mechanisms are the only means of surviving childhood for many who struggle through it. But, when the child becomes an adult, these same defense mechanisms will destroy the soul.

Reaction and blame will only create more problems within the soul. Dwelling or living in the past is of no help whatsoever. That will just create more problems. That’s why the apostle Paul says; we are to forget what lies behind, and move toward the goal which is in Christ Jesus. If we continue to let past or present adversities penetrate our souls, we are the ones choosing to live in misery and stress, instead of God’s plan and purpose for our lives. We are all imperfect, and we have all done things we regret, or have had things done to us by others that cause us grief, but we have the option as to whether these problems destroy us. If we choose to focus on the problem, we are in essence saying to God that we can handle our own problems, we don’t need His solutions.

1Pe 5:5, You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

God makes war against the arrogant believer, but he gives grace to the humble believer. This means that if we continue to focus on the problems and adversities of life, past or present, then God will allow the pain and misery to continue and we will only have ourselves to blame. Most believers do not even realize this, but even unhappiness is arrogance. God never coerces our decisions. He allows us to choose for or against his plan. It is impossible to be unhappy in God’s plan. But we don’t just suddenly become incredibly happy at the moment of salvation. God wants His creatures to be happy. This requires spending your lifetime learning about who He is, and what it is all about. We either continue to strive toward the goal of occupation with the person of Jesus Christ by renewing our mind with the Word of God, even giving thanks in the difficulties of life, or we choose to focus on the problems and continue to live in misery. We sow to the wind, and we reap the whirlwind. We make our own choices in life, and in the end we only have ourselves to blame.

Psa 119:67, Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.

Do we make the Word of God our #1 priority in life? This is the question we must ask ourselves within our own soul. God already knows the answer. He already knew the outcome of your life billions of years before you were born.

So, the solutions He provides will work. Jesus Christ our Lord made this life possible and perfected those solutions. When you start thinking about how infinity superior and stable our God is, it should bring you incredible joy inside your soul. What comfort! What security! The sad fact is that most believers in Jesus Christ will not achieve the ultra-supergrace life. They would rather hear what they want to hear, and so they never advance farther than what they want to hear.

The following are 8 stages of reversionism which Paul was inspired to communicate to the Galatians and Corinthians, many of those who had fallen out of fellowship. Reversionism simply means that a believer in Jesus Christ, even a spiritually mature believer, can revert back to his old unbelieving ways. This is proof that until the day we die, we will constantly need to fill our minds with Biblical truths to avoid reversionism. Most believers trap themselves somewhere in the 8 stages of reversionism.

1. Reaction and Distraction.

As a believer, you can either respond to circumstances and people in your life (using Bible Doctrine in your soul) or you can react to them. This can be as simple as frustration, or it could be reacting to other’s sins. Are you distracted from daily intake of the Word of God? Are you hypersensitive to other’s sins, because they are different from your own? This is when you start drifting from concentrating on your own spiritual life, and become more concerned with what else is going on. Remember this basic Biblical principle: Only you can live your spiritual life, no one else can live it for you. Loss of fellowship through sin, and failure to apply 1 John 1:9 results in advanced stages of reversionism.

The sin nature is genetic and resides in every cell of the human body. The soul, which was created by God, is perfect. Volition, mentality, and self consciousness all reside in the soul. When we sin, we choose to sin. The sin nature simply tempts us, and then we use the volition in our soul to choose to sin. Only the 2 power options of the filling of the Holy Spirit and the accumulated epignosis knowledge of Bible Doctrine can defend us from this temptation. Lack of these is lack of real strength. When we sin, it is inevitable that stress will be present inside the soul, and if we fail to rebound, we move to stage 2 of Reversionism.

2. Frantic search for happiness.

This is because you are out of fellowship, you seek happiness in the world to compensate from frustration, boredom, lonliness, etc… And you must have more than just simple fellowship with the Holy Spirit to avoid this stage of reversionism. You must have acquired epignosis knowledge in your stream of consciousness—the right lobe of the soul, or heart. Without epignosis knowledge, you will not have any spiritual strength to keep you inside the PPOG, or within fellowship with God.

There are 2 types of Christians who develop in this stage of reversionism. The ascetic or legalistic Christian has a trend toward morality. He can have self righteous arrogance, and produce mental attitude sins by judging and looking down upon others who do not fit his moralistic image of a Christian. He does not have the truth within him, because he is out of fellowship, and hence, without epignosis knowledge. His frantic search for happiness is trying to show others how good he is, and deceiving himself into thinking God actually favors him over others, when God’s love doesn’t fluctuate. God loves all believers the same, he doesn’t love one over another because of how good they are. It never depends on how they are. It all depends on who and what God is. And God loves his own righteousness, the righteousness that we receive when we believe in Jesus Christ, which is perfect righteousness.

He is not better than others, but yet he depends on this belief that he is. He joins others who fit his trend of the “human good” syndrome. You could also call this mutual admiration societies. They think they are so great, and they frown on the rest of the world. The problem hear is the tendency to focus on oneself for such high morality, completely loosing track of what is truley in the Word of God. The frantic search for happiness is the result of seeking happiness through people and society, like churches, when only the Word of God in your soul can do this. The second trend is fairly obvious. For the lascivious Christian, this could mean drunkenness, sexual promiscuity, drug abuse or crime.

3. Operation Boomerang.

The more you react, are distracted, and search for happiness outside your inner soul, the more these reactions are intensified. Frustration becomes greater frustration. Discouragement becomes depression. Lonliness become desolation. Here is where you loose your common sense and you let emotion run your soul. Here is where your soul becomes fragmented, and begins to literally split. This fragmentation is prolonged stress inside the soul.

The only defense is to use 1 John 1:9!

When any of us reach this stage, it is usually from deep self pity or anxiety we have accumulated over the years from garbage in our sub-consciousness. As the years pass by under daily perserverance of Bible Doctrine, we will be able to fight this battle more and more head on, and so we should not see this stage as much as we use to. Epignosis knowledge inside the soul will become more and more a line of defense in the battle that wages inside the soul. We will recall The Word of God more quickly, and faith becomes more of a reality from inner proof of contentment.

However, without daily intake of Bible Doctrine, the believer is weakened more and more as the stress takes over his soul. The stress will fornicate with the old sin nature and when cognition of the mind is overrun, then stage 4 will inevitably result.

4. Emotional revolt of the soul.

Emotion is no longer the responder or appreciator of the soul, it now becomes the dictator. Emotion in itself is empty. It is entirely dependent on knowledge resident in the heart. When emotion takes control of the soul, the believer becomes irrational. This irrationality can be subtle, such as sincere and soft spoken pastors who misinterpret the Bible.

Here is where irrationality begins. Instead of using Bible Doctrine in your heart to respond to circumstances, your emotion dictates your behavior.

2 Co 6:11-12, O you Corinthians, our mouth is open to you (Bible teaching); our heart (right lobe of the soul) is enlarged (with doctrine). You are not hindered (from learning doctrine) by us, but you are hindered by your own emotions.

Christians distort Bible teaching when they are under emotional revolt of the soul.

Rom 16:17-18, Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses in opposition to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them. For they are such who serve not our Lord Jesus Christ but their own emotions, and by smooth and flattering speech they deceive the right lobes of the stupid.

These are apostate believers who are without Bible Doctrine in their souls. They interpret the scriptures with their emotions, without discernment. Bible Doctrine is not about sweet, sentimental emotional deception, it is about principles of truth and integrity that God recognizes inside the soul and rewards accordingly.

Emotion was given to human life as an appreciator of the things the Creator so graciously gives us. Emotion, however, can be very destructive if given full control of the mind. You do not have to be a believer to understand this point. Emotion breeds irrational behavior and instability. The Christian way of life is all about thinking.

We are to understand Bible Doctrine by cognition, by knowledge of God. Cognition simply means:

1. The mental process of knowing, including aspects such as awareness, perception, reasoning, and judgment.

2. That which comes to be known, as through perception, reasoning, or intuition; knowledge. Emotion has NO room in the Christian way of life accept as an appreciator of what we know about the Lord.

Emotion is a wonderful gift from God, and I think you know how wonderful it can be when you think about salvation and what Christ did for you at the Cross. I myself get quite ecstastic at times when I think about all that God has provided for us. It can also be bad when you loose your train of thought, and you let anger or bitterness rule your thoughts. This stage of reversionism is very destructive. You cannot recall Bible Doctrine that you previously had knowledge of, because cognition in the right lobe is where Bible Doctrine resides.

5. Negative Volition Toward Bible Doctrine.

At this point believers are apathetic to the Word of God, and actually shrug it off as needless repetition. A person now may find a church that suits their emotional needs, ignoring doctrinal messages and content. They sit in Bible class, but they are performing rituals without reality. You are so caught up in the adversities of your life that you cannot apply Bible Doctrine to circumstances. You in essence say, Bible Doctrine doesn’t work, but it is you who are negative to the Word of God. Here is where Christians feel so full of self pity and emptiness inside and just cling to the salvation message. They were given such an extraordinary spiritual life, yet they wallow in their self-pity, but they do not understand why.

Ignorance is no excuse in the Word of God. God will always provide actual Bible teaching, we must seek it, hear it, and live it. Spirituality is not a theory, we must live it. Hearing the Word (academic knowledge) is not good enough, we must be doers of the word (epignosis knowledge believed, understood and applied).

6. Blackout of the Soul.

Remember, we are still talking about a believer in Jesus Christ. He or she never looses his or her salvation, what grace! Here is where a vacuum opens in the left lobe (the staging area or the mind) of the soul called Mataiotes in the Greek. Literally, this means vanity as in Eph 4:17. Satan understands more Bible Doctrine than you think he does. So, he feeds on believers blackout of the soul. You see, Satan knows his fate, he realizes it is only a matter of time.

Satan will continue to try and break the link in God’s plan. He has already tried several times, from extermination of the Jews to avoid the covenants with racial Israel from being fulfilled, from attempting to destroy the line of David in the Old Testament by trying to prevent the birth of Christ, to setting up his own utopia millineum to prove Christ a liar in saying there will be wars and rumor of wars until my return.

All he needs is to prove one Biblical promise wrong. Even in his genius, he is no match for the perfection of God.

One of his best attacks on the plan of God is distortion of the truth. Anything to lead the Christian from the path of righteousness. Christians want to teach about love, love, love, and yet they have no idea just what love is! True love is a virtue. It is a system of thinking acquired through God’s word, not through emotion. The true power of love is not personal love directed toward others, but impersonal love. Love directed toward everyone, because it does not depend on an object it is attracted to, but it is dependent upon the integrity inside the soul.

Most Christians talk sincere and smile and teach about loving the neighbor. I’ll tell you what true love is! True virtue love is when God the Father judged His only Son, the uniquely born one, with all the sins of mankind. He had personal love for Jesus Christ. Yet, he judged him. Why? Because integrity always comes before love. The righteousness and justice of God the Father judged Christ on the cross for us, so that His plan would make it possible for us to have an eternal relationship with Him.

That is impersonal love! HE loves us not for who and what we are, but for who and what He is! Perfect righteousness and fairness will always find a way to give his creatures a chance.

1TI 4:1, The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Satan wants us to feed on distortions such as love and peace for all. Because he knows that if we focus on the emotional love we feel, then we rely on our own weak and pathetic strength. Even in love, we must rely on the Word of God, never on emotion. These believers in Jesus Christ have neglected Bible Doctrine and are now influenced by the knowledge of the world such as Darwinism, New Age Philosophy, Atheism, Conversion to another religion, etc…The result is subjectivity, confusion, instability, and frustration. They buy into liberalism, world peace and disarmament programs, socialism, universal brotherhood of man, and rights for the criminal.

7. Scar Tissue of the Soul.

“Hardness of the heart.”

Evil influence enters into the right lobe of the soul where epignosis knowledge is stored and actually begins to remove the truth of Bible Doctrine.

John 12:40, He has blinded their eyes (perception), and He has hardened their heart: lest (result of scar tissue) they should see with their eyes, and perceive by means of their heart (right lobe), and be turned around (receive conversion), and I restore them.

8. Reverse process reversionism.

They revert back to their unbelieving ways. At this point, they are still saved whether they know it or not. There is no overt sign to the fact that they have ever believed in Christ, that they are born again, and are sons of God. Christians are shocked at what other Christians do, so they don’t believe they are really Christians but merely professing Christians. The sad thing about it, is so few can ever recover from this point. It is not from the failure of the Word of God. It is because these same Christians who judge these people are in reversionism themselves, and the false doctrine they create destroys any possibility of recovery for these people. God’s justice is his grace policy. He condemns those who do not believe in Jesus Christ. He blesses those that believe in His name. Faith alone in Christ alone is the power of grace. He provides it all! A wonderful grace life is provided to every believer, but we must understand what the Bible teaches. At salvation, God the Holy Spirit gives us 7 Ministries and one is a spiritual gift. The spiritual gift of pastor teacher is given to men so that they may study, and beat their brains out each and every day and night to give to the congregation the accurate message, coherently, orderly, and understandably. The scriptures are to be understood in their original languages and in the time they were written.

Hymn #2

Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 46 - Point 12. The Existence of Free Will in the Human Race Perpetuates the Angelic Conflict

Phase 1 - salvation. At salvation through faith in Christ, regenerate mankind becomes positionally superior to angels through the baptism of the Spirit and positional sanctification, Heb 1:1-14.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

Phase 2 - the believer in time. Experiential sanctification (eusebeia / godliness) = the unique spiritual life.

You can put another nail in Satan’s coffin now by being positionally superior to angels, and by living in your very own predesigned plan, you can be superior to angels experientially.

Phase 3 - the believer in eternity. At the resurrection of the Royal Family of God, believers become physically superior to all angels through the possession of a resurrection body.

For seven years, during the Tribulation, Church-age believers in resurrection bodies are a demonstration to demons that their position was totally wrong and God’s judgment is totally right.

If we were given physical superiority now in time, there would be no contest in the angelic conflict; for we must be an inferior but rational form of creation to resolve the angelic conflict.

1Co 6:3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels?

“judge” = fut-act-ind - krino = to make decisions for, to conclude, to approve, to decree, to rule, to govern, to preside over with the power of giving judicial decisions.

There is no difference between the heir and the slave here because the heir has not recognized all the assets that belong to him.

Even though the heir has in his portfolio great wealth, he doesn’t act any different than a slave because he doesn’t know, recognize, appreciate, or utilize those assets!

Before believers reach spiritual adulthood and understand the divine solutions, they act exactly like unbelievers.

1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to babies in Christ.

1Co 3:2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able,

1Co 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?

There is no difference between a carnal believer in his walk or his conduct of life and an unbeliever, when you are not cognizant of divine solutions which are at your disposal.

Being in union with Christ, we are joint-heirs with Christ, and are therefore adopted at the moment of salvation, Gal 3:26.

When a believer attains the adult spiritual life, then the lifestyle and the character of the heir begins to radically differ from the character and lifestyle of the slave.

2Pe 3:18 grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When you begin to learn about and utilize the divine solutions for your life, that’s when you as an heir begin to radically differ from those who are not heirs.

The ministry of the pastor-teacher is to get the believer out of the experiential stage of slavery and into the experiential stage of heirship and sonship, with liberty and spiritual freedom.

“God has four classes of intelligent creatures in His universe - angels, Gentiles, Jews, and Christians and there is more difference to be observed between Christians and either Jews or Gentiles than between angels and Jews and Gentiles.” - Lewis Sperry Chafer

“Should this statement seem extreme, it must be because the true and exalted character of the Christian is not comprehended. No angel is a son of God by actual generating birth from above, nor is any angel made to stand before God in the pleroma or the fulness of Christ, John 1:16, which fulness is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, Col 2:9-10.” - Lewis Sperry Chafer

The believer’s recognition of his sonship and union with TLJC [The Lord jesus Chrit], and exploitation of the divine solutions from living the unique spiritual life, are what experientially sets him apart from the unbeliever and the carnal Christian.

Eph 6:10-11 Be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Take up and put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

As a believer, there’s nothing that separates you from an unbeliever experientially until you take up the divine solutions by learning them, and put them on by utilizing them.

The angels are blown away that there’s more similarity between angels and unbelievers, than between angels and believers who live the unique spiritual life of the Church-age.

The mystery doctrine of the Church-age is the means by which ordinary people can become invisible heroes and glorify God as a witness for the prosecution against Satan and all fallen angels, and they can have a tremendous impact which will be recognized in the future ages forever and ever and ever.

The Tree of Life is a weekly teaching summary: God’s Word is taught Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

STUDY TITLE:

Weekly Bible Study, November 13, 2023; The Doctrine of The Judgement Seat of Christ.

The Doctrine of The Judgement Seat of Christ.

There are seven major judgments from the time of the cross until the end of human history.

1) The judgment of Jesus Christ on the cross for all the personal sins of the world, this is the first of the seven major judgments in history.

2) Rebound (1Jo 1:9; 1Co 11:31) which is the royal family's self-judgment to recover from involvement in sin and in the cosmic system.

3) The Judgment Seat of Christ which entails the evaluation of all church age believers, 1Co 3:11-15; 2Co 5:10; Rom 14:10.

4) The judgment of the living Tribulational unbelieving Gentiles at the second advent. These ones are thereafter cast into the eternal lake of fire, Mat 25:31-46.

5) The judgment of the living Tribulational unbelieving Jews at the second advent, Eze 20:32-38.

6) The judgment of all fallen angels at the end of the Millennial reign of Christ, Mat 25:40 cf Rev 20:10.

7) The Second Resurrection also known as the Great White Throne Judgment (GWTJ) which includes all unbelievers from the beginning of time. These are thereafter cast into the eternal lake of fire, Rev 20:7-15.

Now, the word judgment can mean either condemnation or evaluation. The Judgment Seat of Christ is a technical, theological term used to designate the evaluation of the royal family of God at the end of the church age after the Rapture and the Big Genuflex. The judgment seat of Christ is the evaluation of what use we made of the logistical grace provisions, predestination, the ten problem solving devices, and the divine power which God made available to every church age believer. Rom 14:10 tells us that everyone will give an account for themselves. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine gain or loss of escrow blessings and rewards for our eternal state. Note that whatever takes you away from executing your personal relationship with God robs you of eternal rewards, (1Corinthians 3:15).

Gain comes from the exploitation of positive volition toward doctrine hence advancing in predestination. Loss comes from cosmic living hence failure to execute the spiritual life. At the judgment seat of Christ it is performance not salvation which is the issue, 1John 2:28.

At this point there is a temporary shame which will be experienced by loser believers who did not take advantage of all that God had provided for them. Therefore because of the judgment seat of Christ there is no equality in heaven. The exercise of our free will in time leads to varying decisions on the part of all hence some will use their freedom to chose for God's plan and others will use their freedom to ignore God's plan.

Freedom never leaves us the same as it found us. If you place Bible doctrine first in your scale of values the Lord will promote you. So, at the judgment seat of Christ the first issue you will face is how you used your freedom. Freedom refers to each individual's response and motivation. The believer must have his own scale of values and priorities and execute his values with discipline and an organized mind. Believers who fail to execute God's plan for their lives have no true standards, no effectiveness, no coordination meaning no orientation to God's plan, Isaiah 43:21; Revelation 4:11. They have no performance nor momentum leading to no execution of predestination, no utilization of the ten problem solving devices, no production of divine good, hence no glorification of God. This all adds up to a life without purpose! John 5:22 tells us that the evaluation of each believer is performed by the Lord Jesus Christ and what is it He uses to evaluate us? The word of God, John 12:48.

The purpose of the judgment seat of Christ is to evaluate the decisions the believer made in time for the distribution of eternal rewards. The believer must have acted in a greater power than human power while on earth. There are two types of power offered to the believer in life,

(1) Satan's cosmic system which promotes human power.

(2) God's pre-designed plan which offers divine power to the believer.

So, at the judgment seat of Christ both the invisible and the visible part of the Christian life is evaluated for the production, motivation, and functional virtues. The subject of virtue entails making right decisions and having right thoughts. Spiritual independence requires personal love for God and taking responsibility for one's own decisions. Personal love for God eventuates in impersonal love for mankind. But if you regard others with contempt this clearly indicates a lack of virtue-love and a lack of spiritual growth. The believer must learn to tolerate others and not become distracted by people.

The Christian life is a life of power and reward. At the judgment seat of Christ all good decisions made in the filling of the Spirit and deeds accomplished in the filling of the Spirit will be rewarded. All bad decisions and deeds made in the power if the flesh will be burned up as worthless, 1Corinthians 3:11-15.

The loser believer who went through life via human power will be embarrassed at the judgment seat of Christ since he receives no rewards for his futile accomplishments. But the loss of rewards does not indicate a loss of salvation! Once saved always saved. The judgment seat of Christ deals with evaluating deeds, not sin. All sin has been dealt with and paid for on the cross! Shall payment be demanded twice?

The rewards which the winner believer receives at the judgment seat of Christ for executing God's plan in time and advancing to spiritual maturity consists of five crowns:

1) The crown of righteousness (2Timothy 4:8) distributed to church age believers who fulfill the plan of God and advance to SM thereby reaching occupation with Christ and producing divine good. This crown emphasizes functional virtue directed toward man and circumstances, hence the fulfillment of the royal family honor code (RFHC).

2) The crown of life (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10) given to the spiritually mature believer who passes evidence testing and glorifies God in the angelic conflict. This crown is given for enduring trials and still glorifying God.

3) The incorruptible crown (1Corinthians 9) issued for mastering your old sin nature through dedication to predestination. This requires discipline, faithfulness, and self motivation.

4) The crown of rejoicing (1Th 2:19) distributed for being a soul winner in time. This does not point to the amount of souls won but the accuracy in which you presented the gospel. Proverbs 11:30 tells us that he who is wise wins souls.

5) The crown of glory (1Pe 5:4) this crown is awarded to winner pastors only for their dedication and willingness to feeding the flock of God.

Revelation 3:11 warns us to hang on to what we have that no one rob us of our crowns. This is simply a warning not to be distracted from the plan of God and eternal rewards. Aside from these five crowns there are other rewards distributed to the mature/winner believer at the judgment seat if Christ, the ultimate decoration is the order of the morning star named after our Lord's third royal title, Revelation 22:16; 2Peter 1:19.

This award is given for the maintenance of spiritual maturity in an ultra super-grace status. Such a believer did not quit in the face of trouble and remained with the plan of God. There are seven privileges which accompany the order of the morning star:

1) The uniform of honor which is worn invisibly in time and is traded in at the judgment seat of Christ for the uniform of glory which is worn over the resurrection body and is quite visible and quite vibrant, Revelation 3:4-5. This uniform distinguishes winner believers for all eternity!

2) The winner's name appears on the honor's list in heaven. This list is presented in court before God and the angels while the Tribulation is taking place on earth, Rev 3:5.

3) A new order of knighthood and eternal order of chivalry is awarded the winner believer, Revlation 2:17; Colossians 3:4-6. This new order is recorded in the Lamb's book of life forever.

4) Winners rules with Christ during the Millennial reign and forever in the eternal state.

5) The winner's name is recorded in the permanent historical section of heaven for all eternity, Revelation 3:12a.

6) The winner receives his own coat of arms of glory, Revelation 3:12.

7) The winner has specific privileges related to the Tree of Life in the Paradise of God, the gazebo in the garden, Revelation 2:7,14.

Let's go through the chronological order of events once again. First, we have the Rapture of the Church, followed by the Big Genuflex which is a time of worship proceeding the judgment seat of Christ. Then after the judgment seat of Christ, at which all church age believer's deeds are evaluated, we have the second advent. The second advent of Christ is also known as the second coming of Christ and occurs after the great tribulation. While the seven year Tribulational period is taking place on earth the judgment seat of Christ is going on in heaven. After this seven year period is complete and the Jews time table is fulfilled, the second advent of Christ takes place. It is at this time Christ returns to the earth with His bride for the last campaign of world war in which Jesus Christ slaughters the anti-Semitic armies, Exo 14:14; Josh 5:13-6:2; Isa 37:36; Eze 38:16. This is known as Armageddon or the Gog/Magog war [Gog=Satan and Magog = Satan’s followers].

The word advent simply means the coming or arrival of something extremely important. And, the second advent needs to be distinguished from the first advent. The first advent began with the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and concludes with the resurrection, ascension, and session of Jesus Christ. The second advent is designed to reveal Jesus Christ as both battlefield royalty and Jewish royalty. The second advent of Jesus Christ ends the Jewish age. This is the time when Christ returns to the earth with His bride (the church) adorned in their resurrected bodies to claim His victory. This return is for the purpose of setting up the earthly kingdom of Christ. At this time all unbelievers are removed from the earth (baptism of fire), Mat 24:40-41. Satan and his cronies are bound for 1,000 years and perfect environment is instituted. The Millennial reign of Christ starts off with all believers and Jesus Christ Himself ruling the earth along with those winner believers from the church age. The Millennium introduces perfect environment on earth and:

1) Satan and his angels are removed, Rev 20:1-3. >

2) There is maximum spirituality on earth, Isa 65:24.

3) Israel is restored as a client nation to God, Isa 5:26-30; Zec 2:28-29.

4) All unconditional covenants to Israel are fulfilled, Dan 9:24.

5) There is universal peace, Psa 46:9; Isa 2:4; Hos 2:18; Micah 4:3.

6) There exists universal prosperity, Psa 72:7,16.

7) There is perfect world government under Jesus Christ and the royal family winners, Isa 11:1-2; Zec 14:9.

8) There is perfect objectivity in the administration of justice, Isa 11:3-5.

9) Nature changes radically and is released from the bondage which is presently shares due to man's original sin, Rom 8:19-22.

10) Flowers will abound, Isa 35; 11:6-9; 65:25.

11) There will be a population explosion and there will be nodeath except for capital punishment.

Then at the end of the Millennial reign of Christ, after 1,000 years of perfect environment, Satan is let loose from prison for the last time. He instigates discontentment toward Jesus Christ but to no avail since at this time his sentence of Mat 25:40 is carried out and he and his fallen angels are cast into the eternal lake of fire forever, Rev 20:10. The GWTJ also takes place at the end of the Millennial reign, in which unbelievers are cast into the eternal lake of fire. Then the new world order is established and eternity commences in its full glory!
