Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins].” NKJV (New King James Version)

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles or as a memory jogger for review after you’ve viewed the video Sermon.

The conclusion of the Doctrine of the Pivot;
The salt of the earth and the light of the world.

Point 1. Definition and description: The Pivot is defined as the accumulation of mature or spiritually adult believers living in a client nation in a specific geographical location, Matt 5:13-14.

Point 2. The relationship of the Pivot with the Client Nation.

Point 3. The importance of the three “P’s,” the Pivot, Prayer and Protection for Israel.

Point 4. The Relationship between the Pivot of Believers toward The Jews And The Nation Of Israel.

Point 5. America and Biblical Prophecy and the Role of the Pivot in the Last Days.

Point 6. The Five Cycles of Discipline Concerning the Doctrine of the Pivot.

Point 7. The conclusion — The believer will be under one of the cycles of Divine Discipline or Salt to the Earth and Light to the World.

Salt was used for as an illustration for the believer bringing taste into situations that need individuals to live the spiritual life in the midst of the devil’s world.

Salt was known for also bring preservation into the life of others by bring doctrine into a situation which seasons life and thought.

Salt was used for making a promise or covenant with others in the ancient world.

Salt was a sign of friendship referring to the trust that comes from fellowshipping with others.

Salt was used in the Levitical offerings to represent eternal security in Lev 2:13, where salt portrayed eternal security in God’s plan.

Salt is analogous to the mature believer preserving his nation, Mrk 9:50.

Salt is also analogous to the mature believer in the expression of divine viewpoint, Col 4:6.

Col 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were, with salt, so that you may know how you should respond to each person.

“if” is a third-class condition which says maybe you will and maybe you won’t;
“become tasteless” means that it is no good and one of the worst things that can happen today in the Church Age is for believers to become tasteless.

How can you as a believer function as a preservative unless you are filled with the Spirit and unless you have a knowledge of doctrine.
“it is good for nothing” or as the Greek says “it has ability for nothing.”

Jesus Christ is the light of the world (John 8:12), but now Jesus Christ is absent from the earth and every believer is an ambassador for Christ; 2Co 5:20.

Analogy = you see the spiritual life of the pivotal believer in the night seasons or the darkness found in the world or the cosmic system.

“There is no place like home” and that the believer’s home is from above not from below.”

The key to the enjoyment of time and the enjoyment of everything meaningful in life was having Bible doctrine saturating the soul.

While there are a lot of wonderful things that God allots to us in time, they’re no good without Bible doctrine in the soul!

Without Bible doctrine in the soul, the believer with the best of everything is still the most miserable of all creatures.

The believer was designed or created by God have a capacity for many of the blessings Solomon had if the believer has Bible doctrine in the soul!

The key to the enjoyment of everything in this life is when the word of God is alive within you and saturating the soul.

In themselves they can never give the happiness, contentment or satisfaction that we are all looking for.

1. Anthropocentric Academic Speculation or regarding humans as the central element of the universe and therefore seeking happiness through education.

2. Seeking happiness in pleasure, Ecc 2:1-11 or eat, drink and be merry.
“Let me mix them,” – “let me try them both together, pleasure and wisdom.”

3. The All in the Family experiment, I’m going to have children and keep it all in the family.

4. The Philosophy of Time Orientation.

5. Looking for happiness from money, wealth, and prosperity. This is the grievous evil….those who have clutched can quickly crash!

6. Building a reputation.

Many people who were wealthy and smart would put ointments and perfumes over their body so that they would smell better than the average person!

1Ki 10:10 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and a very great amount of spices and precious stones. Never again did such abundance of spices come in as that which the queen of Sheba gave King Solomon.

The point is that the ointments of the ancient world made one a person very attractive.

A good name is that which has influence and character and that which changes lives and is made up of a fine reputation.

7. In Ecc 7: 25-28, – wisdom reveals the fact that intimate relationships are compelling, but often not satisfying.

Hebrew noun kecel, which means stupidity, or the propensity or inclination to make stupid or foolish choices.

Madness is the Hebrew noun howleelowt which means insane or an irrational thought process.

Ecc 7:25 I directed my mind to know, to investigate, and to seek wisdom and an explanation, and to know the evil of folly and the foolishness of madness [an irrational thought process].

Solomon had a thousand women: 700 princesses as his wives and 300 mistresses. He was a sexual athlete, but his experience did not gain him any wisdom or fulfillment.

Sex with the wrong man or wrong woman is wrong.|

Homosexuality or lesbianism is trying to find happiness in having sex with a member of the same sex, and that is a distortion.

Masturbation is self-responding to self, and that is also a distortion.

Bestiality is forbidden by God, and that is a tremendous distortion.

The real truth comes when you “put yourself together” in the person of Christ.

When the man sees himself in Christ, complete, satisfying to the Father, and ready to take in His wisdom, that man’s world comes together.

8. In Ecc 9:13-15, Solomon looked for happiness in the hero image.

1. Academics
2. Pleasure
3. Family
4. Philosophy
5. Money
6. Reputation.
7. Sex
8. Hero image

“while the sun or the light or the moon or the stars be not darkened” is a reference to the fact that it is inevitable that prosperity at some time in your life will be taken away.

“clouds return after the rain” refers to depression, regrets and the guilt that comes after a life of negative volition toward doctrine.

The house refers to the human body and the watchmen refers to the hands.

The Hebrew word “zuwa” referring to trembling not from loss of body energy but energy in the nervous system.

Prov 3:8 It will be healing to your [shor] nervous system and refreshment to your bones.

The “grinding mill” is “tachanah” used for grinding of flour or meal and it speaks of the digestive system not working, i.e. indigestion.
“arise” is the Hebrew word quwm which means to jump up.

The word “sound” is the Hebrew word “qowl” which means to chirp.
“terrors” is the noun chath-chath which refers to fears and phobias.

The “grasshopper” speaks of our weakness and our loss of physical strength, our loss of skill, and loss of physical ability.

The word caperberry is the Hebrew word, ‘abijownah referring to both appetite and sexual desire.

The word “ineffective” parar means frustrated, sexual desire is frustrated.
halak is used to walk one step at a time, every step you take is closer step to death.
“eternal home” is the Hebrew phrase “`owlam bayith” which has two meanings, a palace or a prison.

Where they spend eternity all depends on their attitude toward Christ and their answer to Matt 22:42 “What do you think about the Christ?”

The verb to go = cabab – to go about without direction, around and around.

The word broken is rachaq and it means to be snapped.

The “golden bowl” is the Hebrew noun gullah which is a container that holds oil.

The picture is that the silver cord is a wick dipped into oil from the bowl which produces a flame.

The flame represents the spark of life.

The oil represents allotment of time or energy of life.

When the golden bowl is broken, it is a reference to it being smashed or cracked and the oil or the energy of life leaks out slowly; “the picture shattered by the well” is a reference to the fact that in the ancient world they would have clay jugs which they would put on a wheel to fetch the water.

1. When blood vessels don’t function and circulation is destroyed equivalent to the shattering of the jug or the circulatory cardiovascular death.

2. When the heart itself stops pumping known as a cardiac arrest. So a very common death known as a heart attack is described in Bible.

Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to have faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Doctrine of Imputations. Part 5.

Rom 9:30-32, What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone, On the other hand, Israel, who seemed so interested in reading and talking about what God was doing, missed it. How could they miss it? Because instead of trusting God, they took matters into their own hands. They were absolutely absorbed in what they were doing themselves. They were so absorbed in their “work for God” that they didn’t notice God’s work right in front of them, like a huge rock or as this passage says a “stumbling stone” in the middle of the road.

And so, they stumbled into Him, who is called “the Rock” and went backward falling and stumbling away.

Rom 9:33, just as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, And he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

Isaiah gives us the metaphor for pulling all this together by saying that God put a huge stone on the road to Mount Zion, a stone you can’t get around. And the stone was Himself, God indwelling man. 1Ti 3:16, And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Beheld by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

John 1:14, And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Lord Jesus Christ therefore is called the Rock who the Jews had rejected in Deut 32:18 “You neglected the rock who begot you, and forgot the God who gave you birth. We know that the rock represents the lord as 1Co 10:4 teaches, “They all drank from the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

This is why TLJC is called:

Christ is the rock of salvation. 1Co 3:11, For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Christ is the rock of perfection. Zec 3:9.

Christ is the rock of the natural and spiritual soldier; Psa 144:1, Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle;

As the Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ provides the solid mental attitude to honor Him. Isa 26:3-4, “The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in Thee. Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.”

This is why He is called the chief cornerstone, who unites both the Jews and Gentiles together.

Christ is the foundation rock of Israel. Psa 118:22; Isa 28:16.

Christ is the foundation rock of the Church. Matt 16:18; Eph 2:20-22.

Christ is the destroying rock of the Second Advent. Dan 2:34-35.

Christ is the rock of judgment. 1Pe 2:8.

The point is that your life is either going to be built upon a solid foundation called the Rock or an unstable foundation called the sand. Therefore, we read in Matt 7:24-27, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act upon them, will be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and it fell, and great was its fall.”

The real question is what is your house, or the edification complex of your soul, built upon?

Now, remember we began a series of messages from this section in Rom 9 on the Righteousness and Justice of God, the First Adam and the Last Adam, the Doctrine of Imputations, which we have now completed 18 hours upon, and now our final doctrine, the Doctrine of Justification. We will deal with this doctrine point by point. Last time we studied it was about 15 years or so.

Point 1. Introduction; Rom 4:13-25.

And the main verses that we noted in this section were found in Rom 4: 16-25.

Rom 4:16-19, For this reason it is by faith, that it might be in accordance with grace, in order that the promise may be certain to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, (as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you”) in the sight of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. In hope against hope he believed, in order that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

Abraham did not always operate in faith, especially on three different occasions. Abraham failed twice when he lied to the Pharaoh and said that Sarah was not his wife, Gen 12:10-20, and when he lied to Abimelech, the king of Gerar in Gen 20:1-15 and said the same thing, Sarah was not his wife. And the of course when he listened to the voice of his wife Sarah who told Abraham to go and have sex with her female slave, Hagar, and bring an heir from her rather than waiting on the timing of God.

You know the rest of the story–it’s the reason why we have the problems with terrorism that we do today in the world, especially in Europe, in the Middle east, and in the USA. It doesn’t sound like Abraham was really the father of our faith during those times, does it? Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless, instead he focused in on God’s omnipotence, and said, with God all things are possible. This is how the just live by faith. Even though Abraham’s hundred year old body didn’t seem like he could ever father a child nor did he consider Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up.

Instead, we read in Rom 4:20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God. He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promises asking cautious and skeptical questions, he plunged into the promises and came up strong, ready for God.

Rom 4:21-24, and being fully assured that what He [God] had promised, [God] was able also to perform. Therefore, also it [Abraham’s faith or belief] was reckoned or imputed to him as righteousness. Now not for his sake only was it written, that it was reckoned to him, but for our sake also, to whom it will be reckoned, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

In other words, it’s not just Abraham that is in view; this is also for us! The same thing is said about us when we embrace and believe the One who brought Jesus to life when the conditions seemed to be hopeless.

Rom 4:25, He who was delivered up because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

And the reason is that whatever happens to Him will happen to us because of our union with Him. His resurrection was the validation of the sacrifice of His spiritual death and the proof of our acceptance with God. Abraham became a tremendous example of “The just shall live by faith!”

Point 2 in the doctrine of justification dealt with the Etymology of the word which is the origin and historical development of a word and how it was originally used in its earliest known use.

The word for justification is the noun dikaiosis which means anything pertaining to the integrity of God, His righteousness and justice. When used for man it refers to imputed perfect righteousness.

When used for God it refers to His righteousness and justice. It means that we were made as perfect as God at the moment that we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Point 3. which deals with: The definition of dikaiosune Theou translated the “righteousness of God.” which justifies us at the moment of salvation.” This becomes the function of blessing from the justice of God to man. It all begins at salvation. This function of divine blessing from the justice of God at salvation is called “dikaiosune Theou” or a judicial function of the justice of God.

The “perfect righteousness of God” becomes the function of blessing from the justice of God to man.

It all begins at salvation.

This function of divine blessing from the justice of God at salvation is called “dikaiosune Theou” or the dikaioo or justification, a judicial function of the justice of God. Justification means an act of vindication. This is a judicial act of vindication means we have been vindicated by God from being born under condemnation, or being spiritually dead. Therefore, justification is an official judicial act which occurs every time anyone believes in Christ. The justice of God acts on our behalf pronouncing us justified, which means, having a relationship with God forever because we have the perfect righteousness of God imputed to us.

Justification means that God recognizes that He has given us His perfect righteousness. This means that even as a perfect Judge, that in the end, God cannot and does not remember our sins or failures.

Experientially He does but positionally He sees us as being totally complete and holy in Christ.

Col 2:10, and in Him you have been made complete,

Col 1:22, He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach

Heb 8:12, For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.

Or as the prophet Micah predicted in Mic 7:18-19, “Who is a God like thee, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? Yes you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

As David said in Psa 103:1-12, Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The Lord performs righteous deeds, And judgments for all who are oppressed.

Psa 103:7-11, He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive {with us}; Nor will He keep {His anger} forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

The prophet Isaiah knew the reason why someday believers would be justified before the Lord when he wrote Isa 38:17, …For You have cast all their sins behind their back.

Isa 43:25, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake [because of my honor and integrity]. Furthermore, I will not remember your sin.”

Jer 31:34, …For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Col 2:13, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us ALL our transgressions,

Psa 85:2, You did forgive the iniquity of Your people; you did cover all their sin.

Think of it, the Lord has not covered some of your sin, but all of your sin.

In Eze 16:63, Ezekiel knew it when he wrote that the Lord said to people who were involved with the grossest sins you could ever imagine “I will forgive you for all that you have done.” Have you become so familiar with these verses and this principle of doctrine that it no longer has an effect on your life? The apostle knew it in 1Jo 2:12 says, Your sins are forgiven for His names sake.

They all knew that “The just shall live by faith!” Faith in what? Faith in what God said he would do about man’s hopeless and helpless condition! The mechanics of justification are found in what is known as at salvation adjustment to the justice of God which include three logistical steps.

First, personal faith in Christ. The object of faith has all the merit. We are nothing till we have something of the integrity of God through maximum Bible doctrine in the soul.

Secondly, the justice of God the provides perfect righteousness to all who believe.

Thirdly, God judicially pronounces us justified, officially righteous.

All of these steps occur simultaneously at the moment of faith. At salvation we receive God’s perfect righteousness and His justice must recognize that very same perfect righteousness which backs Him up in His divine essence. Now, if God gives us perfect righteousness at the point of faith, and He does, think of what can God’s justice do with us now? And that’s what Paul mentions in Rom 8:29-33, For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

Now, understanding this doctrine of justification means that you understand that if you sin, you haven’t changed your status with God. You are still justified. You still have perfect righteousness and therefore eternal salvation. So you are justified forever. However, until perfect righteousness is imputed there can be no justification. We can never be justified until we first receive perfect righteousness. No perfect righteousness imputed means no justification. And all human categories of righteousness are excluded. Remember that God doesn’t think much of your personality or self-righteousness nor of mine. He isn’t impressed with anything but His own perfect righteousness. God loves His perfect righteousness with an eternal love.

Psa 11:7, For the Lord is righteous; He loves righteousness;

Psa 33:5, He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.

Psa 37:28, For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His godly ones; They are preserved forever;

Psa 45:7, Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; Perfect righteousness is the only thing we have that counts with God.

So justification is the possession of divine perfect righteousness imputed at salvation. Justification frees the justice of God to pronounce the fact we have His perfect righteousness. And now He is free to give you eternal life. So justification is another way of describing salvation relationship with the integrity of God. It’s also important to note that justification is not forgiveness.

Forgiveness is subtraction, justification is addition by grace.

Forgiveness subtracts sin, whereas justification adds the perfect righteousness of God.

First, God took care of our dirty laundry. Then he bought us a brand new wardrobe. Justification, then, is the completion of the believer’s salvation adjustment to the justice of God. It is the consummation of the salvation work of God logically. So, understanding this doctrine of justification means that you understand that if you sin, you haven’t changed your status with God.

You are still justified. You still have perfect righteousness and therefore eternal salvation. So you are justified forever. The justice of God can only judge sin with divine discipline but if we rebound first, the justice of God can only forgive us.

1Jo 1:9, “If we acknowledge [name and cite] our sins [known], He is faithful and just, with the result that He forgives us our sins [our known sins] and purifies us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins].”

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your known sins silently with your thoughts directed to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry which will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

Christmas 2016. The Necessity of our Lord’s Virgin Birth.

The Necessity of our Lord’s Virgin Birth.

Adam’s original sin is the origin of the old sin nature in the human race, Rom 5:12.

Although both the man and the woman in the Garden were equally guilty, the woman’s sin of ignorance was the reason she became the bearer of the embryo, 1Ti 2:13-15.

While both man and woman are carriers of the old sin nature, only the man can transmit the old sin nature through the fertilization of the female ovum.

Since it is only the male that is responsible for passing down the old sin nature and not the female, this means that if a woman could have a virgin pregnancy, a baby could be born into the world without an old sin nature.

This was the case in the birth of the humanity of Christ, originating from Mary’s virgin pregnancy and virgin birth.

Being born without an old sin nature meant there was no imputation of Adam’s original sin to our Lord.

The first Adam was created perfect; the last Adam, Jesus Christ, was born perfect and Merry Christmas, remained perfect.

We know that because in Matt 13:55 and Mark 6:3, Mary’s other children are mentioned, so we know she eventually copulated or became pregnant with Joseph’s children.

Mark 6:3 “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?”

The so-called Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, was proclaimed by pope Pius IX in the year 1854 never before that and it was wrong biblically.

The assumption of the Virgin Mary (which refers to the bodily ascension into heaven shortly after her death), proclaimed by Pope Pius XII 1950 was also a wrong conclusion.

For they added unto the word of God and as God’s word says in Prov 30:6 “Do not add to His words Lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.”

Mary was also proclaimed Mother of the Church, by pope Paul VI 1965 — another addition to the word of God and an attack on the true meaning of Christmas.

Mary’s virgin pregnancy was caused by God the Holy Spirit fertilizing the female ovum.

He provided twenty-three perfect chromosomes to fertilize her twenty-three perfect chromosomes which were uncontaminated by the old sin nature.

Mary had a virgin pregnancy which is known as parthenogenesis, the origin of our Lord’s humanity into the world. Parthenogenesis is a form of reproduction in which an unfertilized egg develops into a new species.

The virgin pregnancy resulted in the virgin birth, thus excluding the old sin nature from the humanity of Christ.

While Mary was a virgin, she was not perfect or impeccable.

Mary received at birth the imputation of human life to her soul and the imputation of Adam’s original sin to her old sin nature; so she was not perfect.

God the Father imputed human life to his human soul, but divine justice could not impute Adam’s original sin since there was no target, no home, no antecedence, no affinity, there being no genetically formed old sin nature in Him.

It is the virgin birth that is the basis for redemption, because it provided the world with a perfect human being, the only One qualified to be judged for the sins of the world.

Some of the greatest manifestations of our Lord’s most important Christmas to us is that Jesus “grew in wisdom [Bible doctrine], stature, and in favor with God and man,” Luk 2:52.

He quickly reached spiritual self esteem from personal love for God; then with spiritual autonomy and impersonal love for all mankind, and eventually reached spiritual maturity.

Why is it so important for us to understand the real meaning and purpose of Christmas?

a. To be our Savior.

To provide redemption, the sins of the world had to be imputed to Christ on the cross.

b. The first Christmas revealed that TLJC had to become To be our Mediator,1Ti 2:5-6; Heb 9:14-15.

A mediator has to equal to both parties and Jesus Christ is undiminished deity and true humanity in one person forever.

c. To be our High Priest.

A priest is defined as a member of the human race representing himself or humanity in general before God and as a Christmas present to us, our Lord is a priest representing us at the right hand of God.

d. To become the Son of David, 2Sa 7:8-16; Psalms 80:20-37.

At the First Advent of the virgin birth, our Lord receives His second royal title, “Son of David.”

The promise was offered in the First Advent; it is fulfilled in the Second Advent.

When the apostles dealt with the Jews after the Day of Pentecost in the early part of Acts, they always brought up the question: how can Jesus Christ be the
Son of David and at the same time God?

The answer is found in the Hypostatic Union, which in turn leads to the concept of redemption.

The first prophecy of the virgin birth: Gen 3:15 16.

The Jewish prophecy of the virgin birth: Isa 7:14, 9:6.

Isa 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

Isa 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

The historical fulfillment of the virgin birth: Matt 1:19-25.

Matt 1:22 Now all this took place that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,

Matt 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

The result of the virgin birth, God became flesh: Joh 1:14; Rom 1:3; 1Ti 3:16; Heb 2:14; Phil 2:5-11.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

2Co 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”

Imagine it’s your birthday
And all your friends and family have come
to celebrate the day you were born
and the place that you are from

Then as they come together
Rejoicing that You’re the One
Who died for all their sins
Because you’re the Holy One

And as they share gifts with one another
To celebrate the day you came
After all the gifts were given
There were none that had your name

They all gave to one another;
but forgot what you had done
Once again they ignored
God’s only begotten Son

But just as You have lived
with grace and mercy you give
So that maybe someday we all
Will Know how we should live.

So we thank You for Your mercy
that always points to the one
for God’s lovingkindness
And for His only Begotten Son

And again we are grateful
For more than words can ever say
for those who have been faithful
each and every day.

Christmas Eve in Heaven

Christmas Eve in Heaven

The earliest reference to Christmas being celebrated in December comes from the second century after the birth of Jesus.

It is considered likely the first Christmas celebrations were in reaction to the Roman Saturnalia, a harvest festival that marked the winter return of the sun-and honored Saturn, the god of sowing. Saturnalia was a rowdy time, much opposed by the more austere leaders among the still-minority Christian sect.

Christmas developed as a means of replacing worship of the sun with worship of the Son. By 529 A.D., after Christianity had become the official state religion of the Roman Empire, Emperor Justinian made Christmas a civic holiday. However, the world, back then, was absorbed with that which was not important. They were engrossed in their own lives and preoccupied with vanity and emptiness. However, Heaven wasn’t!

The innumerable Holy and Elect angels were waiting in anticipation. They were waiting to break forth in praise and worship and adoration to the birth of a new born child, the Son of God. A birth that meant that God had fulfilled His word and sent forth His child for salvation. A fulfillment of Isaiah 9:6, For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us (NASB95); and on that first Christmas Eve there was also a farewell going on in heaven, the Son said goodbye to the Father. In fact, a part of that conversation is recorded for us in the tenth chapter of Hebrews.

On that first Christmas Eve, the Lord is speaking to the Father and this is what He said:

Therefore, when He comes into the world [this is the first Christmas], He says, “Sacrifice and offering Thou hast not desired, But a {human} body Thou hast prepared for Me;” (Hebrews 10:5) NASB95

Note that the physical body of the humanity of Christ was prepared for Him beforehand by God the Father.

“In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (In the scroll of the book it is written of Me) To do Your will, O God.’” (Hebrews 10:6-7) NASB95

He said in effect, Father I realize that You have not been satisfied with the blood of animals and therefore you have prepared a body for me so that I could be the ultimate sacrifice. Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ bid farewell to His Father and began a journey that was to end 33 years later on the Cross.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9

NASB95The physical body of Christ was divinely prepared by God the Father and God the Holy Spirit as the vehicle to bring God to mankind and to be the perfect sacrifice for sin. In addition, while this was going on, earth was oblivious to it! People on earth had no idea that for the first time ever, God was going to become a man. God was coming in the flesh, Heaven was well aware of the event, earth was not.

There are so many things about Christmas that the majority of people today know nothing about. The Holy Spirit had taken nine months to fashion inside of Mary, a physical body which would be perfectly prepared for our Lord. A human body that would be like no other human body because it was the only human body to be born into this world without a sin nature. A body that was to be inhabited by the second person of the Trinity.

The fullness of time had come when God would send forth His very own Son. Galatians 4:4 teaches this, But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law and every Christmas time we stop and rather mindlessly acknowledge the birth of Christ. Some say He was God, others say He was just a man. The real issue is not that He came; the issue is why He came.

Many people stop and think about Christmas just as the fact that He came...but they never bother to find out why He came. Why did He come? Why was He born? To present God? YES. To teach truth?...YES. To fulfill the Law?...YES. To reveal love?...YES.

These are all secondary reasons why He came. There is really only one primary reason. One primary plan.

One primary person. And that is that Jesus Christ, who came into the world on that first Christmas for one major reason...to suffer and to die for you.

Therefore, the biggest question in this life for any person who is not confident of their eternal future is: “What must one do to be eternally saved and go to heaven?” The book of Acts 16:30-31 tells us that Paul & Silas were asked the following question by the Jailer. "Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." (NASB95)  Jesus Himself said in John 6:47 - "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." (NKJV) Did you notice the word “has”, it doesn’t say “will” have, it says “haseverlasting life, which means the very second you believe in Jesus Christ, you have eternal life. John 20:30-31 tells us what we must believe about Jesus, that is, one must simply believe …that He is the Christ [the promised Messiah], the Son of God; and that believing you may have life [eternal life] in His Name [NKJV]; nothing more and nothing less.

Have you believed in Christ as your eternal savior?  If not, what are you waiting for, tomorrow is promised to no one!

Merry Christmas

Part 4.
The Imputations of Divine Blessings to the Resurrection Body.

We have noted the relationship between the doctrine of imputations and the Judgment Seat of Christ.

2Co 5:10, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Rom 14:10, But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God.

This is the beginning of the final imputations to the believer, the imputation of divine blessings given to the believer in his resurrection body. We also noted that when the operational power of the resurrection reached its peak in human history. First, in the great power experiment of the Hypostatic Union when God indwelt the humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ which is known as the first Christocentric dispensation. By Christocentric I mean a time when God indwelt man. Secondly, there is the great power experiment of the Church-age indwells every member of the Church-age.

Both dispensations are known as periods of time when resurrection life and power was made available for God’s people. Although, it is not given enough attention, there is a direct relationship between resurrection life and the power of God. Look at Eph 1:18-20, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might [and when did He make this power known and available to us?] which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Please notice it was not until our Lord was raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of God that resurrection power was made available.

Eph 3:14-20, For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

Now, both of these periods of great power end with a resurrection. For example, the great power experiment of the Hypostatic Union terminated with the resurrection, ascension, and session of the humanity of Christ. The great power experiment of the Church-age will terminate in the “Exit Resurrection” or “Rapture” of the Church.

And so the final imputation takes place sometime after physical death or the rapture or the “exit resurrection” of the church. Remember, that while the believer has control over his life in the execution of the PPOG through consistent positive volition toward doctrine and through the use of his portfolio of invisible assets, He has no control over the manner or time of his physical death. He cannot prolong his life or cut it short (except, of course, by suicide, which is the sign of a loser believer). Neither does he have any control over the manner of time of the resurrection. The death of the believer is always a matter of the wisdom, integrity and sovereignty of God. You might want to remember that when someone dies and you don’t understand why!

Psa 68:20, God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.

Isa 57:1, The righteous man perishes, and no man takes it to heart; And devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from evil,

The death of the believer is always God’s victory and those who are raised from the dead are His trophies. The type of believer makes no difference; because all go to heaven. The believer’s death means he is absent from the body, face to face with the Lord, in a place of “no more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more death,” and the Lord’s timing is perfect neither too soon and never too late. Death always comes at the exact right time.

Every generation of believers in the Old Testament died a physical death but none of them have experienced resurrection up till this day. The Old Testament saints will be raised from the dead but that takes place seven years after we, the Church-age believers are raised at the rapture also known as “Exit Resurrection” of the Church.

Moses had a dramatic death, climbing the mountain and the Lord taking him home from there.

Elijah had a ride to heaven in a special conveyance.

But there was no resurrection in the Old Testament. There could not be a resurrection in the Old Testament, for the first resurrection in history was that of Jesus Christ at the end of the great power experiment of the Hypostatic Union.

God is perfect; His wisdom and decisions are perfect. God decides the time and manner of the death of each of us.

As Job said when he heard of the death of his children in a terrible storm: Job 1:21, “The Lord gave; the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Rom 8:38 39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.”

Psa 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”

Phil 1:20-21 “On the basis of my intense concentration and confident expectation [a personal sense of destiny] that I shall not be put to shame in anything, but with all confidence, Christ shall even now [in time] as always [in eternity] be glorified in my body, whether by life or by death. For me, living is Christ, likewise dying is profit.

Now, when it comes to the believer being blessed in his resurrection body, he will receive something which now follows at the judgment seat of Christ. First of all, the judgment seat of Christ is the time of the seventh imputation from the justice of God. Some of these imputations that take place in your resurrection body are classified as crowns.

There are at least five categories of crowns for believers in the word of God.

The first four are available to all believers; the last one is available to those who have the spiritual gift of pastor teacher only.

1) The crown of righteousness.
2) The crown of life.
3) The incorruptible crown.
4) The crown of rejoicing.
5) The crown of glory.

Well, let’s note what these crowns are given at the judgment seat of Christ.

The crown of righteousness is awarded at the judgment seat of Christ to the Church-age believer who fulfills the pre-designed plan of God by the advance to spiritual maturity. This is given to mature believers with emphasis on their attainment of spiritual maturity in the PPOG.

The believer who wears the invisible uniform of honor (Eph 6) will receive the crown of righteousness. The function of impersonal love is the manifestation of the invisible uniform of honor. The crown of righteousness is given for your virtue, honor, integrity, passing momentum tests, and fulfillment of the royal family honor code.

2Ti 4:7 8, “I have fought an honorable fight [advance to spiritual maturity]. I have completed the course [execution of the pre-designed plan of God]. I have guarded the doctrine [#1 priority]. In the future there is reserved for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will award me in that day, and not only to me, but to all [winners] who have loved his appearing.”

He perpetuated spiritual self-esteem and spiritual maturity. As a mature believer, the perpetuation of spiritual maturity means to continue learning the word of God daily. So the crown of righteousness is a decoration for the attainment, perpetuation, and activity of spiritual maturity. This crown is presented to those believers who advance through the three stages of spiritual adulthood. Some believers will have the crown of righteousness for loving His appearing which means that they were totally occupied with the Lord Jesus Christ and produced a lot of divine good, 2Ti 4:8.

This is especially true of believers who are in a single status. As the apostle said concerning the subject of dating and marriage in 1Co 7:32-35, But I want you to be free from concern. One who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife, and his interests are divided. And the woman who is unmarried, and the virgin, is concerned about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and spirit; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband. And this I say for your own benefit; not to put a restraint upon you, but to promote what is seemly, and to secure undistracted devotion to the Lord.

Accompanying the crown of righteousness is a tremendous amount of extra privileges, blessings, and opportunities in the eternal state. Then there’s the crown of life, James 1:12, Rev 2:10. This crown of life is awarded to the Church-age believer who in spiritual maturity passes evidence testing. By passing evidence testing, the mature believer has glorified God to the maximum and so will receive the crown of life. Evidence testing is administered by Satan as an extension of the angelic conflict.

Rev 2:10, “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Note that the devil is about to cast some of you in prison, that you may be tested and you will have special persecution ten times. Keep on being faithful even until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

James 1:12, “Happy is that person who perseveres under testing, for once he has passed the [evidence] test, he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.”

This tells us that happiness is not confined to prosperity, to having things going your way. The happiness provided by Bible doctrine exists under the greatest categories of adversity. The crown of life is awarded to all members of the royal family of God who utilize the problem-solving devices and advance to maturity and then use +H to pass evidence testing.

The incorruptible crown is given to those who mastered the their O.S.N. through dedication and devotion to the PPOG. These are the believers who were discipline, faithful, dependable, and self-motivated. They didn’t look for excuses not to give, serve or be faithful to Bible class! They fulfilled their obligations even when they were not present! So, some will have the incorruptible crown for mastering their OSN.

1Co 9:24-27, Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. And everyone who competes in the games exercises self control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.

The crown of rejoicing is for being soul winners, 1Th 2:19, For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

These individuals were accurate in their communication of the Gospel. They were not ashamed of the gospel of Christ! And they led others to the grace and truth found in the lord. They led many to the righteousness found in the word of God!

Dan 12:3, “And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

They are said to be filled with life and wisdom!

Prov 11:30, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls.

The crown of glory is awarded to pastors who faithfully study and teach Bible doctrine to their congregation, doctrine by which the pastor and positive members of the congregation will attain spiritual maturity. He is described in Heb 6:10, For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.

The motivation for the pastor is occupation with the Lord.

1Pe 5:1-4, Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. And when the chief shepherd [Lord at judgment seat of Christ] appears [rapture], you [faithful pastors] will receive the unfading crown of glory.”

PHIhil 4:1 personalizes this concept, “Therefore, my brethren, loved ones [congregation who is respected for their faithfulness], deeply desired ones, my happiness and my crown, keep on being stabilized [winners of the crown of righteousness].”

1Th 2:19 20, “for who is our hope or happiness or crown of boasting [glory]? Is it not you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? For you are our glory and our happiness.”

At the judgment seat of Christ, those who have attained spiritual maturity are the crown of glory for the pastor. The pastor’s boasting or crown of glory is received because certain members of his congregation do two things by listening to the teaching of the word: They take the giant step to spiritual self-esteem, and they take the victory step to spiritual maturity where they can receive evidence testing to glorify God to the maximum.

So the happiness of the pastor comes from the positive response of those faithful to the teaching of the word of God.

The pastor’s happiness is different from that of anyone else in the sense that believers with P.V.T.D. are the basis for the pastor receiving the crown of glory.

The ultimate decoration: The order of the morning star. The winner who receives the crowns mentioned not only has vast estates in the eternal state, but he receives this decoration and others that go with it. This decoration is taken from and named after our Lord’s third royal patent, “King of kings, Lord of lords, the bright morning star,”

Mentioned specifically in Rev 22:16 and 2Pe 1:19. The order of the morning star is given to winners as the highest of all decorations in escrow blessings given by God. It is a part of the new order of chivalry in the eternal state for the royal family. This decoration is awarded for the maintenance of spiritual maturity in what may be called an ultra supergrace status. This decoration is mentioned as a part of escrow blessings for the eternal state in Rev 2:26,28, “furthermore, the winner, even he who keeps my assignments [execution of the pre-designed plan of God] until the end [perpetuation of spiritual maturity through evidence testing], to him I will give authority over the nations.”

Verse 28, “furthermore I will give to him the order of the morning star.”

The mature believer will be a ruler over a Gentile nation and rule during the Millennium.

Receiving this decoration is the highest manifestation of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ in the Church-age. This same title was given to Him at the ascension and session and is related to both the strategic victory and tactical victory of the angelic conflict.

Rev 22:16, “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to declare these things to you for the churches; I am the root [Jesus Christ as eternal God], and the descendent of David [Jesus Christ in hypostatic union], the bright morning star [His title for the first and second advents].”

Num 24:17, “I see him, but not now, I behold him, but not near. Behold, a star [Christ as the morning star] shall come forth from Jacob [first advent] and a scepter shall rise from Israel [second advent].”

Matt 2:2 is a reference to the morning star related to the first advent, Matt 2:2 “where is He who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and have come to worship Him.”

2Pe 1:16-19, For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased” and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so, we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

The order of the morning star is named after our Lord’s royal title and is given for historical impact in the church age.

It authorizes the recipient to reign with Christ in the Millennium and hold the highest privileges for all eternity. These believers can eat from the tree of life in the paradise of God, located in the New Jerusalem. There are at least seven privileges that accompany the order of the morning star.

1) The uniform of honor, being invisible and worn in the soul, is exchanged at the judgment seat of Christ for the translucent uniform of glory worn over the resurrection body. It was first modeled by Jesus Christ on the mount of transfiguration, Matt 17:2, “and His clothes became white as light.” The uniform of glory is a monument to right decisions. The uniform of glory is given as a translucent light which covers the resurrection body, Rev 3:4 5, “they will walk with Me in whites…”

2) The name of the winner appears on the honors list, and he is presented in the court of heaven during the tribulation on earth. Only those on the honors list are taken to heaven and presented to god the father. The honors list is made up of those believers who make Bible doctrine their highest priority daily.

Rev 3:5, “Thus the winner shall be clothed in white garments and I will never blot out his title [the winner is knighted at the judgment seat of Christ] out of the book of life. In fact I will acknowledge his title in the presence of My Father and before His angels [a formal presentation].”

3) A new order of knighthood and eternal order of chivalry will be added to the believer’s name in the Lamb’s book of life forever, Rev 2:17 cf Col 3:4,6.

The new knighthood is given to the winner, Rev 2:17, “To the winner, I will give him blessing from the hidden manna [escrow blessing for time and eternity]; also I will give him a white pebble [the resurrection body, God’s final vote of justification – they voted with colored pebbles in the ancient world], and on that white pebble has been inscribed a new Title [your royal patent in the eternal heraldry] which no one knows [you are an anonymous hero during the church age].”

4) The winner will rule with Christ during the Millennium.

5) The winner’s name is recorded in the permanent historical record section because of his invisible historical impact during the church age, Rev 3:12a. The impact of the winner is anonymous as far as the record of history is concerned, but not as far as God is concerned. The mature believer’s historical record will be recorded forever in the heavenly temple. Each pillar will have the record of his life as a winner.

Rev 3:12, “The winner, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God. Furthermore, he will never again vanish [go outside] from history. Also I will emblazon on him the title of My God, and the name of the city of My God

This will be his pass to enter the eternal city, the New Jerusalem, a satellite city suspended above the earth in the atmosphere or in space, the New Jerusalem, which shall descend from heaven from My God; also My new title [King of kings, Lord of lords, bright morning star].”

The temple of God is the eternal record center in the future. This temple of God will be the historical textbook of the true heroes of history. The mature believer as a part of the pivot is the true impact on history. In Gal 2:9 the mature believer is currently called a pillar of the church.

6) The winner receives his own coat of arms of glory, Rev 3:12b.

7) The winner has special privileges related to the tree of life, the gazebo of the garden, called the paradise of God.

You are a member of a special club with special parties to which only you are invited; you’re a member of the paradise club forever, Rev 2:7,14.

Rev 2:7, “To the winner, I will give to him the privilege of eating from the tree of life which is in the paradise of God.”

Rev 22:14, “Blessed are they [winners] who have washed their robes [rebound], that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter by the gates into the city [New Jerusalem].”

The tree of life is the ultimate in eternal reward and blessing.
