Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

STUDY TITLE:

After salvation, it is extremely important that we are secure in who we are and who the LORD is in our life.

The LORD not only provided the power and the ability to be saved but He also provided the power that protects us and our salvation.

1Pe 1:3-5, Blessed be the GOD and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of GOD through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Go forward to 2Pe 1:2-4, Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of GOD and of Jesus our LORD; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and GODliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

Now, even though there are people who say that we can lose the gift of salvation that GOD has given to us the moment we believed in His Son;

Our LORD also reminds us of the fact that we are not only eternally saved but we also have the gift of eternal security.

This means that the same power that we all needed at the moment of our salvation is the same power that keeps us saved.

EG + EG = For remember Eph 2:8-9, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that (grace; salvation; faith) not of yourselves, it is the gift of GOD; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

By the way, here is another different approach that we will note which is called the original language approach.

The original language of the verb sozo in Eph 2:8 is a perfect, passive, participle of sozo.

Perfect – saved in the past with the result of being saved forever.

Passive – you received the salvation – you did not produce it.
Participle – purpose.

Even our LORD’s half brother Jude says something about Jud 1:24, Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,

There are so many passages that we could quote concerning the doctrine of eternal security that I have decided to teach the doctrine by pointing to the different approaches we could use concerning eternal security.

By approaches, I mean that no matter which way we approach the subject, it all brings us right back to the fact that the LORD has provided many different ways for us to approach the doctrine of eternal security because of the importance of it.

After salvation, it is extremely important that we are secure in who we are and who the LORD is in our life; 1Co 15:10 says, By the grace of GOD I am what I am.

Never think that you can live for GOD by your own power or by your own strength; but always look to HIM and rely on HIM for the assurance and the mental stability that is needed in times of pressure. Also, one of the most important statements that the apostle Paul made is found in 2Ti 2:1 where the apostle Paul taught Timothy some very important principles concerning the grace of GOD.

2Ti 2:1-5, You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.

So, I have chosen to approach our doctrine of which I will call “The Eternal Security Approaches.”

If you haven’t learned by now, believers can and do commit some type of sin that not only shocks them but also it shocks those believers who say or think that anyone who sins as a believer has lost their salvation.

In our main passage in John 15 on the Vine and the branches, our LORD is teaching HIS disciples the difference between suffering for blessing and suffering for divine discipline.

Our LORD was preparing HIS disciples to always be ready to give to everyone the reasons that they can handle adversity or prosperity as well as deserved suffering and undeserved suffering.

As the Apostle Peter said in 1Pe 3:15, Sanctify Christ as LORD in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

Now, all of us should be alert to the fact that there are always individuals who distort passages like John 15:2, which says that “Every branch [believer] in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:2, a verse that ignorant believers use to say that you can lose your salvation. Now, I have been asking you this past week to answer certain questions that lead to false doctrine.

For example, in our passage, our LORD is dealing with our fellowship with our LORD and not our salvation, but do you see the word salvation in this verse?”

What about those who say that John 15:2 and John 15:6 is teaching that believers can lose their salvation?

Do you see the word “lose” in this verse?

No, you don’t see the word lose at all because our LORD is teaching His disciples the importance of the principle of “Abiding in him” which refers to our fellowship with our LORD and not our salvation.

Also, do you see the word “sin” in this verse for it is sin that causes believers to lose their salvation according to those who believe the “satanic lie” that they can lose their salvation?”

However, if a believer does willfully sin, he does not lose his salvation, he loses the principle of Abiding or fellowshipping.

Do you see the word salvation in this passage?

No, the word salvation is not even mentioned in this verse, John 15:2; and John 15:6.

Let’s stop right here.

First of all, all of us should be alert to the fact that there are always individuals who distort passages like John 15:2 which says that “Every branch [believer] in Me that does not bear fruit, He [TLJC=The Lord Jesus Christ] takes away; = (that’s the first part).

The main question that our LORD was dealing with is found in phrases like John 15:2 where our LORD says that “every believer in Him that does not bear fruit, our LORD takes them away.

And here’s my question; “What does our LORD take others away to?

This is one of the main questions that we should have in John 15:2, where our LORD says that “every believer in Him that does not bear fruit, our LORD takes them away [from what?].”

Isa 57:1, The righteous man perishes, and no man takes it to heart; And devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from evil,

The question we should have is what did our LORD refer to by the phrase that “if a believer does not bear fruit, our LORD will take away the believer.”

The main question that we should all have is also found in John 15:6 which other apostate believers distort the verse when it says that; “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Notice the main subject that our LORD is addressing is said to those who “do not” abide in Him that they need to “abide in Him” and not have anything thrown away as a dead branch.

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: The final eulogy of Judas Iscariot: A traitor, a liar, plagued by arrogance.

“The Twelve,” = it does not mean that all the 12 apostles were present at the time but the phrase, “The Twelve” is actually one of the TITLES for the Apostles.

The attitude of Judas Iscariot from this time forward will lead him to suicide; according to Acts 1:14-21.

This was the final eulogy of Judas Iscariot, a traitor, a liar, and plagued by the arrogance that he knew more about the Jews than even our Lord does.

You have some idea of the reasons that our Lord did what He did in the past, especially when He appointed certain disciples who became Apostles.

John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you.

This one verse describes for us the entire meaning of the Vine and the branches and how we have the power and the ability to apply the doctrine necessary to bring forth the “fruit of the Vine” = fruit of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is nothing that the Lord could ever request from us that He has not provided the assets needed to bring glory to God.

He knew their deeds and their works and how they persevered and how they refused to quit even though they had to endure evil men from those who call themselves apostles, and they are not.

Sometimes it is both healthy and humbling to remember where you and I came from and what the Lord has delivered all of us from?

Here is where the “Golden Rule” comes into the picture and reveals to us parents the importance of how we treat one another, especially how a parent treats their children.

One of the main reasons why the apostle Paul stayed with them was because of their PVTD.

PVTD remembers that in 1Co 1:26 we are told that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;

God has chosen the foolish things or the foolish people of this world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak ones of the world to shame the things which are strong, 1Co 1:27.

Our Lord appointed the Twelve, including Judas Iscariot, an unbeliever, who was not only appointed by our Lord but he was given the authority by our Lord to perform miracles and preach the word.

judas was given the “power of God” and the “authority of God” to preach and teach the “Word of God,” even though he was an unbeliever and not saved or born again.

When someone is called a “Benedict Arnold,” he is known for being a traitor who goes as far as betraying even the members of one’s own family.

Matt 10:4 Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, [and then his eulogy] the one who betrayed Him.

Judas was known for being a traitor, a coward, a henpecked husband who is browbeaten, bullied, or intimidated by one’s wife, girlfriend, or someone who never dared to contradict his wife.

John 6:60 Many therefore of His disciples, when they heard this our Lord said that He was the Bread of Life and if you do not eat His flesh or drink His blood, you cannot be saved.

Henpecked — has its origins in the means (pecking) used by one hen to show dominance over another in the establishment of a pecking order.

Our Lord Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him.

He cried out; There must be something wrong in Denmark!

The number of the chapter and the verse which is said to be found in John 6:66 which talks about the disciples refusing to follow our Lord and fall into apostasy.

Even things as simple like the number that is assigned to the disciples who have quit upon the Lord which is John 6:66 — 666 = man’s number to worship angels and humanity.

As a result of this many of the scribes withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore.
“As a result of this many of the Pharisees withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore.

As a result of this many of the Sadducees withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore.

It says just what it says that as a result of this many of His disciples withdrew, and were not walking with Him anymore.

Psa 19:13 Keep back Thy servant from presumptuous sins; Let them (the presumptuous sins) not rule over me; Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.

It doesn’t say in the last part of verse 13, Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgressions (plural).

“And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.” in the singular” because it refers to one sin that snowballs into many sins, and that is the sin of presumption.

Prov 13:10 Through presumption comes nothing but strife, But with those who receive counsel is wisdom.

Rom 15:18 For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed.

Judas was money hungry or a lover of money, and yet the Lord made him the treasurer of the Apostles.

Rom 15:19 illustrates the “power of the word” and the “authority of the Word” as seen in Judas Iscariot, who was not only given the power and the authority to preach and teach the Word of God but he was also given the right and the authority to cast out demons.

Judas preached the Word of God, even though he was an unbeliever.

Judas taught the Word of God even though he was an unbeliever.

Judas also was given the authority to cast out demons, even though he was not saved or born again.

This particular subject also reveals the power of the Word even though Judas was an unbeliever — the power is in the Word.

Prin: Judas was an unbeliever who performed miracles even though he was not saved.

One of the questions that emerge is “What is difference between a disciple and an Apostle?”

An apostle is sent to deliver or spread their teachings and their message that they were gifted to present, especially to the early Church.

The word “apostle” has two meanings, the larger meaning of a messenger and the narrow meaning to denote the Twelve people directly linked to the Lord Jesus Christ.

All apostles were disciples but all disciples were not apostles.

God decided to use certain women, who responded to the call to take care of our Lord and the Twelve, even though it was ONE of the TWELVE who was stealing the money needed to live on.

The passage in Luke Chapter Eight, because a lot of individuals have the wrong idea of how our Lord lived.

These women were responsible for supporting financially TLJC and the men who were under His authority.

Mary Magdalene — seven demons had indwelt her body and there are some who assume from this fact that she was an adulterous woman but there is no proof of that whatsoever.

Many believers judge by sight and gossip about the lifestyle of other believers because they violate the Doctrine of Privacy.

Mary and the other women mentioned were women who were used by God in a substantial way by God in His plan.

Mary Magdalene constantly remained with the women who followed TLJC and His disciples and who also served them with the necessities of life.

The Lord was not married and because of that He did not have a help-mate to help Him but what He did have was doctrine in the soul which is far greater than being married or depending on others.

Our Lord had logistical needs that were supplied by certain women who I believe will be mentioned in God’s hall of Fame because they provided the finances and the gifts that were given to Him and the twelve.

The Lord and His disciples needed money for food, shelter, and clothing and these women were used by God to fulfill that need.

None of the disciples worked, they had to leave their homes for three years and so God used women such as Mary Magdalene, Joanna the wife of Chuza and Susanna.

They are over-looked by many because of their secondary roles, …but there are no secondary roles with God.

Mark 9:41 “For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.”

It may seem like “what you do” is not needed, and yet it is the fulfillment of the plan of God designed just for you.

There have been many women throughout the Church-age who because of them doctrine was taught in powerful ways.

They were responsible for doctrinal pastor-teachers being able to do their job without having to be distracted.

I am definitely referring to our internet congregation which is a non face-to-face congregation and church as it was when the apostle Paul was in prison for years.

In the beginning of the Church-age, Paul taught doctrine by means of writing letters to his students or his disciples from jail.

Mary Magdalene was permitted to give her entire treasure to the Lord.

Mary Magdalene witnessed most of the events surrounding the crucifixion while all the apostles with the exception of John ran away and forsook TLJC.

She was also present at the mock trial of the Lord when she heard Pontius Pilate pronounce the death sentence; and she saw the Lord being beaten and humiliated by the crowd.

She was also one of the women who stood near the Lord during the crucifixion to try to comfort Him.

She was the first one who witnessed the resurrection of TLJC and she was sent by Him to tell the others, John 20:11-18.

Here is a woman who put all the apostles to shame when it came to being faithful to TLJC and believing His words!

Madam = a respectful title for a woman, or a woman who runs a house of prostitution or a woman who is running a brothel where prostitutes work for money.

We have seen other women mentioned who were faithful to our Lord and His ministry namely, Mary, the mother of the apostle John, Joanna, the wife of Chuza the steward, and Susanna.

The world generally looks in a mocking way at such quiet service behind the scenes.

To be ordinary and in no way extraordinary is a secret between the Lord and the ordinary believer who because of our Lord has become extra–ordinary or extraordinary.

God’s scale of values weighs differently than ours does.

Matt 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.”

The Angelic Conflict. Part 15. Operation footstool-the ultimate triumph of the angelic conflict. Psa 110:1-7; Matt 22:41-46; Mar 12:35-37

Our final point in the doctrine of the angelic conflict is Point 15, Operation footstool-the ultimate triumph of the angelic conflict.

In Psa 110:1 we find the first mention of operation footstool, (A Psalm of David.) The Lord [God the Father] says to my Lord [TLJC = The Lord Jesus Christ]: “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies [Satan and the fallen angels] a footstool for Thy feet.”

Psa 110 is about the Messiah’s reign and rulership when He returns to the earth to set up His kingdom. This prophecy is so important that it is quoted six times in the N.T., four times under a rebuttal concept to settle a Jewish controversy regarding Christ as the Messiah to Israel, and the dispute about the Hypostatic-union. In Matt 22:41- 46, when questioned by the Pharisees who were denying the fact that TLJC was the Messiah and a member of the human race at the same time, Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, saying, “What do you think about the Christ [not Himself but the Messiah that they expected], whose son is He?” They said to Him, “The son of David.” He said to them, “Then how does David in the Spirit call Him Lord, saying, The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I put Thine enemies beneath Thy feet? If David then calls Him Lord, how is He his son?” And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him another question.

In Mark 12:35-37, Psa 110:1 is quoted by Jesus in the temple answering a dispute with the scribes, And Jesus answering {began} to say, as He taught in the temple, “How {is it that} the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I put Thine enemies beneath Thy feet.” ‘David himself calls Him ‘Lord’; and {so} in what sense is He his son?” And the great crowd enjoyed listening to Him.

In Luk 20:41-44, Psa 110:1 is quoted by Jesus when questioned by the Sadducees in Luk 20:27, Now there came to Him some of the Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection). So in Luk 20:41-44, And He said to them, “How {is it that} they say the Christ is David’s son? For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.”‘ David therefore calls Him ‘Lord,’ and how is He his son?”

In Acts 2:24-36, Peter’s message on resurrection on the day of Pentecost, he quoted Psa 110:1. It is quoted in Heb 1:13, But to which of the angels has He ever said, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies A footstool for Thy feet?”

In Heb 10:12-13, but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet.

The occasion for this prophecy is the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and session of the humanity of Christ in the Hypostatic-union, so it was fulfilled at the end of the dispensation of the Hypostatic-union.

The deity of Christ is omnipresent (everywhere present); this is why He could say in Matt 28:20 to His disciples “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” On the other hand, the humanity of Christ is limited to one spot. Only the humanity of Christ could sit down; deity is omnipresent and does not sit. That’s an important principle in operation footstool and the angelic conflict because seated at the right hand of God the Father, the highest place of authority in the universe, is not an angel, but a member of the human race. The session of Christ was the occasion for receiving His third royal title based on the dispensation of the Hypostatic-union and the resultant strategic victory in the historical angelic conflict. Operation footstool is the ultimate triumph of TLJC when He comes back a second time, and sets up His kingdom on earth. It is a triumph over Satan and the fallen angels, and is a very important part of the historical extension of the angelic conflict.

Operation footstool has two phases, one at each end of the Millennium. At the Second Advent of Christ, following the Tribulation, the time of great demon activity, TLJC comes back, and His enemies are put under His feet as He will throw Satan and all fallen angels off the earth and incarcerate them for 1000 years. Rev 20:1-3, And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Zec 13:2, And it will come about in that day, declares the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols [demons] from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove the prophets and the unclean spirit from the land.

All fallen angels will be placed in Hades until they are thrown into the lake of fire (Rev 20:14).

At the Second Advent, all unbelievers are taken off the earth as a part of operation footstool. The unbelievers who survived the Tribulation are collected into two groups for their judgment, called the baptism of fire (Matt 3:11-12). The two groups are the Jews and Gentiles. The distinction is made because the Tribulation is a part of the dispensation of Israel. Jewish unbelievers of the Tribulation are removed from the earth and cast into torments, the compartment of Hades for all unbelievers since the beginning of time. All unbelievers remain in torments until Hades delivers up its dead, Rev 20:13, And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.

Then they are cast into the lake of fire, Rev 20:14, And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Eze 20:33-28; Mal 4:1 teach about this phase of judgment for the Jewish unbelievers of the Tribulation. Gentile unbelievers of the Tribulation are also cast into the fire of torments, Matt 25:31-46, But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. And all the nations [the Gentiles] will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me {something} to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, {even} the least {of them,} you did it to Me.’ Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me {nothing} to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they themselves also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

The pattern for the removal of unbelievers of the Tribulation is found in Matt 24:36-44, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there shall be two men in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. Two women {will be} grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think {He will.}”

In this verse, the one who is left is the believer going into the Millennium which starts with believers only. The one taken is the Jewish unbeliever put into torments. At the end of the Millennium, they will be resurrected, judged, and cast into Gehenna or the lake of fire.

So, the first phase of operation footstool is the Second Advent and includes two categories of judgment: 1) The judgment of pre-historic, rational, super-creatures (angels). Satan and fallen angels are judged, removed from the earth, and incarcerated for 1000 years (Rev 20:1 3). 2) The judgment of historical, rational creatures (unbelieving mankind). Therefore, sitting at the right hand of the Father, our Lord is waiting for His Royal Family to be completely formed at which time He comes to meet us in the air. Then He owes Israel seven more years, the Tribulation period, at the end of which He touches the earth at the Second Advent where operation footstool begins. The second phase of operation footstool takes place after the Gog revolution at the end of the Millennium when Satan is released from prison and enacts his last revolt. The Gog revolution is described for us in Rev 20:7-8, And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison [Satan immediately starts an international conspiracy called the Gog and Magog revolution where the conspirators are the unbelievers of the Millennium], and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. In the siege of Jerusalem, the Gog and Magog revolutionists are destroyed by God, Rev 20:9-15, And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. [Then follows the last judgment of all unbelievers of the human race]. And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

This fulfills the principle of judgment found in John 3:18, He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

And in John 3:36, “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

So, operation footstool begins at the Second Advent and terminates at the end of the Millennium. The relationship between the two phases of operation footstool is presented in 1Co 15:22-25, For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end [the end of the Tribulation, when the Second Advent takes place], when He delivers up the kingdom to the God and Father, [At this time Jesus Christ supersedes Satan as ruler of the world, and delivers the kingdom to the Father, who in turn gives the rulership of the world to Jesus Christ for the last dispensation as His prize for the strategic victory of the angelic conflict] when He [Jesus Christ in Hypostatic-union] has abolished all rule [Satan as the ruler of this world] and all authority [dictatorships of Tribulation] and all power [removal of all demons, corrupting human power, and the influence of Satan’s cosmic system]. For He must reign [1,000 years] until He has put all His enemies under His feet [termination of operation footstool].

There are three important principles when it comes to interpreting the word of God: 1) The pastor must understand isagogics, the historical setting of a passage. 2) Categories: the systematic theology developed from combining Scripture with Scripture. 3) Exegesis: the grammatical and syntactical analysis of the passage from the original languages. These three principles are extremely important for the interpretation of a passage, especially in light of our subject, the angelic conflict and our passage in Col 2:13-15, And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed the rulers [demon archons or rulers] and the authorities [demon commissioned officers] He [Jesus Christ at the Second Advent] made a public display of them, having celebrated a triumphal procession over them [Satan and all fallen angels] by means of it [strategic victory of the cross] (corrected translation).

According to the isagogics, an analogy is made here between operation footstool and a Roman Triumphal Procession. The fallen angels are a part of this procession. They are incarcerated in the abyss until the last judgment when they will come out, be judged, and cast into the lake of fire.

The phrase He made a public display is the Greek word deigmatizo meaning to display or exhibit the captives or the demons He disarmed. The phrase having triumphed is the Greek verb thriambeuo, which actually means to lead a Triumphal Procession, make some kind of a special exhibition, or to celebrate a triumph. A custom in the ancient world after winning a war was to bring the captives back and to have a Triumphal Procession or a march through the city of Rome. In the Roman army, Field grade officers were called tribunes; General officers were called praetor or imperium. When an imperium was victorious, the highest honor that could be given was a Triumph (Triumphus), which included a procession or a parade. The victorious imperator or general assembled his troops outside the gate and delivered a speech commending his army on their victory. When TLJC was resurrected three days after the cross, after He was on the earth for 40 days, He ascended to the right hand of the Father. That’s when He heard from God the Father the phrase, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies A footstool for Thy feet!” When TLJC arrived in the presence of the Father, He arrived as the conquering general, and in front of Him during the ascension were Satan and all demons in the Triumphal Procession as captives. So there was a moment on the earth when things were pretty quiet because all the demons were paraded by TLJC as He sat upon that throne.

The analogies between the Roman Triumphal Procession and the Spiritual Triumphal Procession which will take place at the Second Advent are fantastic to note! As the army of the imperium lined up to salute him with the shout,“ Ave imperator”, so TLJC will be honored as the King of kings and the Lord of lords at the Second Advent. As thetriumphus was the highest honor that could be given to an imperator, the highest honor which can be given to TLJC is to sit down at the right hand of God as the “King of kings, Lord of lords, the bright morning star.” The ultimate decoration is the order of the morning star. For our Lord, the first part of the triumphal procession took place in the spiritual realm, while the second part will take place in the temporal realm and will be seen by all. REV 11:15-17 And the seventh angel sounded; and there arose loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” And the twenty four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give Thee thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who art and who wast, because Thou hast taken Thy great power and hast begun to reign

In the Roman Triumphal Procession, the senate had to approve the triumph. By analogy, God the Father will support His Son Jesus Christ and at the Second Advent there will be a victorious procession to celebrate our Lord’s victory. On the day appointed for the Triumphal Procession, the senate declared a holiday and the entire population of Rome came out of their homes and stationed themselves along the streets. In Rev 1:7, Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. Even so. Amen.

In the Roman Triumphal Procession, the victorious imperator assembled his troops outside the gate of triumph and delivered a speech commending his army on their victory, and decorated the heroes. By analogy, before our Lord comes back in the Second Coming, He will deliver a speech to the church at the bema seat judgment commending and decorating those who were victorious by becoming invisible heroes. Rev 3:5 Thus the winner shall be clothed in white garments and I will never blot out his title [the winner is knighted at the judgment seat of Christ] out of the book of life. In fact, I will acknowledge his title in the presence of My Father and before His angels [a formal presentation].

In the Roman Triumphal Procession, the highest honor was the corona [Latin for crown]. By analogy, we have the crown of righteousness, awarded to invisible heroes for executing the PPOG [predesigned plan of God]and for bearing fruit in it, 2Ti 4:7-8, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing. The crown of live, for handling suffering for blessing, James 1:12 Happy is that person who perseveres under testing, for once he has passed the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.

The crown of glory is awarded to pastors who faithfully study and communicate Bible doctrine; their motivation is occupation with the Lord and not with people. 1Pe 5:4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears [Rapture], you [faithful pastors] will receive the unfading crown of glory. The ultimate decoration is the order of the morning star, awarded for the ultimate in Christian service, invisible impact. Rev 2:26, 28 Furthermore, the winner, even he who keeps my assignments [the fulfillment of the PPOG] until the end [of his life], to him I will give authority over the nations. Furthermore, I will give to him the order of the morning star.

Not all winners will receive the order of the morning star, but many will be rewarded the different crowns and awards given for faithfulness and dedication to the Lord in time. The general also mounted his chariot with four horses and commanded his army to fall in, present arms, and move to the gate. By analogy, TLJC will give orders to the Church to mount their horses as she returns with Christ (Rev 19:11-14). Then, at the gate, the imperator was met by the Roman senators and magistrates of the city. They welcomed him in the name of the senate and people of Rome. By analogy, every eye will see him and every tongue will confess that He is Lord (Rev 1:7-8, Phil 2:10-11).

In the Roman Triumphal Procession there was a very definite order. The senators, magistrates, and counsels walked ahead first, followed by several bands of trumpeters playing the martial music of the day. Then came a long train of carriages displaying pictures of the country that had been conquered, and all the plunder of the campaign. Next came the white bulls destined to become sacrifices and the priests carrying sacrificial knives. By analogy, when TLJC comes back, all of the O.T. saints will be raised from the dead and everyone will be in their own order. The first resurrection is pictured as a battalion pass-in-review, divided into four ranks: 1Co 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, Next came the enemy’s arms, their captured standards and weapons, followed by the leaders of the enemy country and army and members of their family. They were followed by all the prisoners of war in chains. By analogy, first comes the Triumphal Procession when demons are disarmed by Jesus Christ and publicly displayed (Col 2:15). Secondly, Satan is imprisoned for 1,000 years (Rev 20:1 3). Then Church-age believers cast demons into prison (Zec 13:2; 1Co 15:24-25; Col 2:15).

In the Roman Triumphal Procession, behind the captured enemies marched the lictors of the imperator. Then came the victorious general or imperator himself in his chariot. At the Second Advent, TLJC will present those winners to the entire world as He sets up His Millennial kingdom. The imperator had a wreath of laurel on his head, and he was holding in his left hand a very beautiful scepter made of gold, topped with an eagle. In his right hand he carried a laurel branch. By analogy, in Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head, and a sharp sickle in His hand. Just like the imperator wore a purple toga, little did Pilate and his soldiers understand the significance of decorating TLJC with a purple robe (JJohn 19:2). The procession then ascended the Capitoline hill and the leaders of the conquered army were taken to the Mamertime dungeon. At the Second Advent, demons are disarmed and displayed by Jesus Christ, Satan is imprisoned for 1,000 years, and Church-age believers cast demons into prison. Finally, in the Roman Procession, a public banquet was held in honor of the imperator, just as TLJC is honored at the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev 19:7, 17). During this banquet, the imperator was given a Triumphalis Domas, a beautiful mansion, the “House of Triumph;” and a lifetime pension, just as the Second Advent introduces the Millennium and perfect environment on the earth.

Hymn #1

Hymn #2

With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord,
‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Sunday morning I made a statement that I believe we all need to be reminded of which is the fact that Eventually, all of us must get use to going through doctrinally that which at I call the “Night Seasons” or “The Times of Adversity and Pressure.” so that we will be able to handle anything that life brings our way.

When certain believers are faced with doctrinal questions, it means that we must face these doctrinal questions head-on — so that we will be able to glorify our Lord in the midst of the Angelic Conflict.

And, it does not matter what it is that you’re going through because our Lord has provided everything that the believer would ever need to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and to lay down their life for one another.

Therefore, we are told to Prov 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old [or mature] he will not depart from it.

The point is that we begin our life “being trained” at an early age and then this training carries with it “more training” both in the natural realm and then hopefully in the spiritual realm.

For example, speaking of the Israeli Military, we read 2Sa 22:35 says “He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.”

Now, this should be one of our main doctrinal principles that we should honor and respect each other so that the “Unity” that exists also becomes our “strength and our power” as we try to fulfill the plans and the desires that our Lord has created just for us.

This is why Jer 29:11 says “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

The real battles that we face are not of the flesh but rather, the battles are from the Spirit and the battles have a “Divine Purpose” behind every thought, every word and every action.

The real battles that we face are not of the flesh but of the Spirit and the battles have a “Divine Purpose” behind every thought, every word, and every action of every believer if necessary.

Now, in 2Co 10:3, the Apostle Paul says For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,

The world is a dog-eat-dog system because the world doesn’t fight fair but we don’t live or fight our battles that way, never have and never will.

The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture.

We use our divinely powerful spiritual assets for smashing warped philosophies and also we are tearing down barriers erected against the truth or the doctrine from God.

Our spiritual tools must be ready for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity, especially and hopefully.

Now, most of the time when we speak of the importance of spiritual warfare, I usually like to point to the weapons of the Christian Soldier as the apostle Paul breaks them down and describes the weapons we need for our spiritual warfare; Eph 6:10-20.

For example, we know that Eph 6:12 describes our true enemy where the apostle Paul reveals the different functions and the main purpose behind spiritual warfare.

All of us need the power of God and the precise weapons we need in the spiritual realm.

And the Apostle Paul tried many different ways to fulfill the predesigned plan of God and to also teach his students about their very own personal sense of destiny.

By the way, and here is a little gem, circumcision was to the early Church what water baptism is for the church today.

We also need to note that the Hebrew Jews in the early Church were condemning gentiles for not keeping the Mosaic Law and they would also continue rejecting the grace of God and the word of God.

Because the Apostle Paul was told by God the Holy Spirit that the grace of God and the Word of God must be magnified.

In other words, you can’t just pick and choose one doctrine over another and then study what you want instead of what you need.

For example, in Gal 5:4, the Apostle Paul says You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law [that is the Mosaic Law]; you have fallen from grace.

The verb translated “severed” is the Aorist-Active-Indicative of the Greek verb ekpipto; which means to drop, to fall away, to cut off the flesh, to circumcise, or to become inefficient.

This produces frustration among many of God’s people as they even become weary as they are told what is about to happen to the human race, even though the work was finished on the cross.

In Gal 6:9, the apostle Paul also warns us about becoming weary; And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

Even the Hebrews were told in Heb 12:3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

All of these principles concerning the “Old Sin Nature” and the “New Nature,” are very active in the life’s of God’s people and God’s desires, especially for those members of the human race or true humanity.

This is another grace package that we cannot identify with because there are hardly any doctrinal ministries in this client Nation, USA, and they should continually progress forward but instead they are regressing and fallen back into the vomit of the Cosmic System.

Now, let’s get ready for our Lord to come back and face any trials, heartaches, tribulations; etc.

This simply says that no matter what believers go through, the Lord desires to turn the curse into a blessing.

Now, when Psa 30:5 says: Weeping may last for the night [that is the night seasons or the difficult times], But a shout of joy or inner happiness comes in the morning.”

Our Lord is always operating under the principles found in Isa 30:18, which says: The Lord longs to be gracious to you or is tapping His foot as it were, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

The point here is that the Lord is waiting for you to come back to Him because He desires to be gracious to you and to have compassion on you so that you will come back to Him, if you need to.

By the way, in passing, I want you to know that every time that you see the phrase “The Twelve,” it does not mean that all the 12 apostles were present at the time but the phrase, “The Twelve” is actually one of the titles for the Apostles.

Also, one of the questions that emerge is “What is difference between a disciple and an Apostle?”

An apostle is sent to deliver or spread their teachings and their message that they were gifted to present, especially to the early Church.

Now, the word “apostle” has two meanings, the larger meaning of a messenger and the narrow meaning to denote the twelve people directly linked to the Lord Jesus Christ.

For example, when the twelve apostles do something to honor and respect our Lord, many times the phrase “The Twelve” is used to reveal to God’s people that all apostles were disciples but all disciples are not apostles.

And so, I want you to notice the passage in Luke Chapter Eight, because a lot of individuals have the wrong idea of how our Lord lived.

Notice that these women were responsible for supporting financially TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ] and the men who were under His authority.

Mary Magdalene was one of those supporters and we are told that seven demons had indwelt her body and there are some who assume from this fact that she was an adulterous woman but there is no proof of that whatsoever.

Once again, many believers judge by sight and gossip about the lifestyle of other believers because they violate the Doctrine of Privacy.

She constantly remained with the women who followed TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ] and His disciples and who also served them with the necessities of life.

The Lord was not married and did not have a help-mate, but what He did have was doctrine in the soul which is far greater than being married or depending on others.

The Lord and His disciples needed money for food, shelter, and clothing and these women were used by God to fulfill that need.

Remember none of the disciples worked, they had to leave their homes for three years and so God used women such as Mary Magdalene, Joanna the wife of Chuza and Susanna.

This is why our Lord said in Mark 9:41 “For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.”

In fact, Mary Magdalene was permitted to give her entire treasure to the Lord.\

Mary Magdalene witnessed most of the events surrounding the crucifixion while all the apostles with the exception of John ran away and forsook TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ].

She was also present at the mock trial of the Lord when she heard Pontius Pilate pronounce the death sentence; and she saw the Lord being beaten and humiliated by the crowd.

She was also one of the women who stood near the Lord during the crucifixion to try to comfort Him.

In fact, she was the first one who witnessed the resurrection of TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ] and she was sent by Him to tell the others, John 20:1118.

The definition of madam is a respectful title for a woman, or a woman who runs a house of prostitution or a woman who is running a brothel where prostitutes work for money.\

And along with her we have seen other women mentioned who were faithful to our Lord and His ministry namely, Mary, the mother of the apostle John, Joanna, the wife of Chuza the steward, and Susanna.

The world generally looks in a mocking way at such quiet service behind the scenes.

To be ordinary and in no way extraordinary is a secret between the Lord and the ordinary believer who because of our Lord has become extra–ordinary or extraordinary.

However, God’s scale of values weighs differently than ours does.\

God’s scale of values is given in Matt 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.”

This is why the Lord said in Zec 4:10 “Do not despise the day of small things?”\

When our Lord walked the face of this earth, there were many who would point to Peter and John and James and the different men and say, “They’re the Lord’s disciples”, but it was the women who were really faithful behind the scenes.

Hymn #2

Sermon: The real battles we face are Spiritual
and there is a Divine Purpose behind every battle.

Even though our Lord was about to face death, He lived by principle, no matter what He faced.

Col 3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

1Jo 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Psa 30:5 “For His anger [Lord’s indignation] is but for a moment, His favor [grace] is for a lifetime; Therefore, weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy or inner happiness comes in the morning.”

We all must go through the “Night Seasons” or the “Times of Adversity and Pressure,” so that our spiritual life can be free from stress and jealousy and bitterness; etc.

Most of you will be able to handle whatever you need to honor and respect God, the Father (Author), God the Son (Executor) and God the Holy Spirit (Revealer) for the human race..

The “Unity” that exists becomes our strength and our power as we are also trying to fulfill the plans and the desires that our Lord has created just for us.

The real battles we face are not of the flesh but rather the battles are from the Spirit and the flesh and there is a “Divine Purpose” behind every thought, every word, and every action.

Circumcision was to the early Church what water baptism is for the church today.

The Hebrew Jews in the early Church were condemning gentiles for not keeping the Mosaic Law and they would also continue rejecting the grace of God and the word of God.

The Apostle Paul was told by God the Holy Spirit that the grace of God and the Word of God must be magnified.

You can’t just pick and choose one doctrine over another and then study what you want instead of what you need.

“severed” = Aorist-Active-Indicative of the Greek verb ekpipto; which means to drop, to fall away, to cut off the flesh, to circumcise, or to become inefficient.

Dan 7:25 that he [the false prophet] will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One.

Matt 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Gal 6:9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

Heb 12:3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

Mutilate is used by the Apostle Paul as a manifestation of divine sarcasm.

All of these principles concerning the “Old Sin Nature” and the “New Nature,” are very active in the life’s of God’s people and God’s desires, especially for those members of the human race or true humanity.

There are hardly any doctrinal ministries in this client Nation, USA, that are continually progressing but instead they are regressing and fallen back into the vomit of the Cosmic System.

Let’s get ready for our Lord to come back and face any trials, heartaches, tribulations; etc.

No matter what believers go through, the Lord desires to turn the curse into a blessing.

Therefore, even though our Lord was about to face death, He realized the principle that David also faced in Psa 30:5 “His anger [the Divine Indignation of our Lord] is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime;

Psa 30:5b Weeping may last for the night [that is the night seasons or the difficult times], But a shout of joy or inner happiness comes in the morning.”

Isa 30:18 The Lord longs to be gracious to you or is tapping His foot as it were, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

The Lord is waiting for you to come back to Him because He desires to be gracious to you and to have compassion on you so that you will come back to Him, if you need to.

“The Twelve,” = it does not mean that all the 12 apostles were present at the time but the phrase, “The Twelve” is actually one of the titles for the Apostles.

“What is difference between a disciple and an Apostle?”

An apostle is sent to deliver or spread their teachings and their message that they were gifted to present to the early Church.

The word “apostle” has two meanings, the larger meaning of a messenger and the narrow meaning to denote the twelve people directly linked to the Lord Jesus Christ.

All apostles were disciples but all disciples are not apostles.

These women were responsible for supporting financially TLJC and the men who were under His authority.

Seven demons had indwelt her body and there are some who assume from this fact that she was an adulterous woman but there is no proof of that whatsoever.

She constantly remained with the women who followed TLJC and His disciples and who served them with the necessities of life.

The Lord and His disciples needed money for food, shelter, and clothing and these women were used by God to fulfill that need.

None of the disciples worked, they had to leave their homes for three years and so God used women such as Mary Magdalene, Joanna the wife of Chuza and Susanna.

They are over-looked by many because of their secondary roles……but there are no secondary roles with God.

Mark 9:41 “For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.”

There have been many women throughout the Church-age who because of them doctrine was taught in powerful ways.

They were responsible for doctrinal pastor-teachers being able to do their job without having to be distracted.

Mary Magdalene was permitted to give her entire treasure to the Lord.

Mary Magdalene witnessed most of the events surrounding the crucifixion while all the apostles with the exception of John ran away and forsook TLJC.

She was also present at the mock trial of the Lord; she heard Pontius Pilate pronounce the death sentence; and she saw the Lord s beaten and humiliated by the crowd.

She was also one of the women who stood near the Lord during the crucifixion to try to comfort Him.

She was the first one who witnessed the resurrection of TLJC and she was sent by Him to tell the others, John 20:11 18.

The point is, here is a woman who put all the apostles to shame when it came to being faithful to TLJC and believing His words!

The definition of madam is a respectful title for a woman, or a woman who runs a house of prostitution or a woman who is running a brothel where prostitutes work for money.

We have seen other women mentioned who were faithful to our Lord and His ministry namely, Mary, the mother of the apostle John, Joanna, the wife of Chuza the steward, and Susanna.

The world generally looks in a mocking way at such quiet service behind the scenes.

God’s scale of values is given in Matt 25:21 “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.”

Zec 4:10 “Do not despise the day of small things?”

John 15 — the “vine” metaphor portrays the humanity of Jesus Christ living in the Predesigned Plan of God for His life during the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

It is the Vine which is the basis for the production of “Divine Good” or “fruit bearing.”

The vine metaphor emphasizes the fact that all precedence and all production of divine good in the Church-age comes from the Vine, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fruit from the branch is a metaphor for the Church-age believer who is willing to go through whatever he or she has to go through to produce the fruit of the Vine.

No fruit (or divine production) can be any better than the vine that produces it.

Because of positional sanctification (union with Christ) and the grace provision of the filling of the Spirit, it is possible for the believer to produce divine good which glorifies God.

“in Me” = a reference to the believer in union with Christ.

Because we are in Him or in union with Christ, we share some of His fantastic blessings, such as:

1. Eternal Life, 1Jo5:11-12

2. Perfect Righteousness, 2Co 5:21.

3. Election, Eph 1:4.

4. Destiny, Eph 1:5.

5. Sonship, 2Ti 2:1.

6. Heirship, Rom 8:16-17.

7. Sanctification, 1Co 1:2.

8. Priesthood, Heb 10:10-14.

9. Royalty (kingship), 2Pe 1:11.

So, we are the branches in union with the Vine, Jesus Christ.

And, there are two categories of branches found in this passage:

The first category of branches are called Dead Branches representing dead works or production skills minus the spiritual skills.

The second category are Live Branches representing divine good, with spiritual skills as the basis for production skills.

And again, another principle, The branch in Christ that does not bear fruit represents the believer who does not produce Divine Good but instead, they produce “dead branches” or “human good.”

Dead works do not bear fruit and are punishable by divine discipline because of the believer rejecting God’s grace and knowledge.

1, The law of volitional responsibility, which produces a tremendous amount of self-induced misery.

2. The law of volitional responsibility.

3. Divine discipline.

Pruning is to trim a tree, shrub, or bush by cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth.

Pruning in the spiritual realm can refer to undeserved suffering or suffering for blessings by removing certain things in our Life for our own benefit.

Pruning is necessary for properly redistributing the “energy” for production.

The branch that bears fruit must be pruned occasionally so that the spiritual skills will increase and maximize = suffering for blessing.

Principle: Just as God provides divine discipline and punitive action for the one who bears no fruit, He also provides suffering for blessing for the fruit bearer.

The personal pronoun for you, humeis is in the plural, so we would say what our Texas friends would probably say, “Ya’ll Clean!”

He is going to teach them that you can be clean, saved, and still not produce fruit.

Luk 23:43, our Lord said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

Isa 43:25 “I, even I, am the One who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”

Phil 3:13b…..but one thing I concentrate upon: constantly forgetting the things that lie behind and pursuing vigorously to what lies ahead,

“Abide in Me” = a command that indicates that this is an experience after salvation and not a reference to positional sanctification.

“Abide in Me” is a command to remain in fellowship with God through the use of 1Jo 1:9 in order that divine good may be produced in our lives.

When the branch is commanded to “abide in Christ, the believer is being commanded to enter into experiential sanctification through the filling of the Holy Spirit.

The phrase “I in you” is a mandate for the believer to learn and metabolize Bible doctrine (when we have doctrine, the “mind of Christ,” in our souls, Christ abides in us).

The Vine has provided for us the precedent, the pattern, and the information necessary to produce divine good.

We cannot produce fruit apart from the function of spiritual skills–the filling of the Spirit; perception, metabolization, and application of doctrine; and execution of the predesigned plan of God.

The “Vine and Branch” metaphor is repeated.

Our Lord is the Vine; we are the branches.

Abiding in Christ is the filling of the Spirit.

Christ “in us” is a result of cognition of Bible doctrine.
