Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Our Pastor-Teacher is:

This ministry is non-denominational and is dedicated to teaching the Word of God from the original languages and making it available at no charge throughout the world.

To participate in today’s “Lord’s Supper” service, prepare a little piece of bread (preferably unleavened— e.g., flat bread or pita bread) and some Welch’s grape juice or red wine [about a teaspoon full] eat and drink when instructed to do so in the service. You may consider getting some unleavened bread wafers from your local Christian book store or from the Internet for future communion services.

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: No matter what problems we have, our Lord promises He will be with us wherever we go; Matt 28:20.

This passage our Lord uses to describe the Vine and the branches and the relationship that we all have with the Vine {TLJC = The Lord Jesus Christ} as well as with the other branches {believers

This is a reference to the Doctrine of the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ along with the Doctrine of the Hypostatic Union with emphasis on the Doctrine of Unity and Logistics.

and every {branch} that bears fruit [The doctrine of the Fruit of the Spirit – Gal 5:22], He prunes it [suffering for blessing], that it may bear more fruit [the Doctrine of Divine Good].

Gal 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the {life} which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither {can} you, unless you abide in Me [the doctrine of Positional Truth].

Some of these principles may shock some of you, some may not, but either way, whatever it is, God’s word is available for whoever desires His doctrines.

Principle: If you cannot see the Lord Jesus Christ dwelling in fallen man or those with Old Sin Natures you will not see Him at all.

Keep in mind that we are being fully trained to handle the outside pressures of adversity so that they do not become inside pressures of stress in the soul.

Let’s take Abraham, who, in Rom 4:12 is called the Father of our Faith.

When I point out to you the kind of believers our Lord will use, no matter what the problem is or may be, our Lord promises He will be with us wherever we go; Matt 28:20.

In Matt 28:20, our Lord was teaching His disciples to observe all that He commanded them you and He also said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

In Gal 3:9, Abraham will be called faithful Abraham; GAL 3:9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.

God will use whatever He can to accomplish His plan working together with others to glorify the plan of God for all those who desire to do just that! (Glorification of TLJC and also His word).

In Gal 3:8, we are told that God would justify all the Gentiles (non-Jews) by faith, He would preached the gospel to Abraham, {saying}, “All the nations shall be blessed in you.”

Here is a man who lied twice (willfully) and refused to say that his wife Sarah was his wife but instead he chose to lie (willfully), knowing that it was wrong to do but he did it anyway.

Sarah was Abraham’s his half-sister; Gen 20:2-13.

Abraham is willfully deceiving Abimelech the king of Gerah by saying that Sarah was his step sister and mentioned nothing about him and Sarah being married to Abraham.

The first and most obvious problem is that Abraham willfully lied to the king by giving him the impression that Sarah was his sister and not his wife.

Why do I keep on saying that Abraham, the father of our faith, willfully sinned?

Those who say you can lose your salvation also say you can lose your salvation because all your future sins have not been judged and if you sin willfully there remains no more sacrifice for your sins.

In Heb 6:4-6, we have a passage that they quote and say that Heb 6:4-6, teaches because your future sins were not judged then you can lose your salvation because there is no more sacrifice for your sins.

It is possible because there are no sacrifices that God would ever expect.

Heb 10:10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

There is a passage that they misquote and are academically dishonest by taking the scriptures out of context.

For they will say if you go on sinning willfully after salvation there remains no more sacrifice for your sins.

The father of our faith Abraham lied willfully, after he was saved; Gen 15:6.

Our Lord desires for us to rest in His plan and beware of making certain decisions that go against the purpose of God for our life and the plan of God for our life.

In the case of Abraham, he failed many times but Abraham never lost his salvation because of anything that he thought, said, or did.

Next we have Lot, a young man who continually made worldly choices and worldly decisions for himself as he did in in Gen 13:7-11.

Choosing the wrong geographical location, Lot also associated with homosexuals and wicked evil men when he chose to live in Sodom and Gomorrah over the plan of God; Gen 13:12-17.

This is a principle of doctrine that we should choose and take very seriously because of the importance of being in the right place at the right time.

Lot lost his prosperity, his wife and his reputation, Gen 19:24-38.

This is a picture of a carnal believer, (like Lot and his wife) looking back to the Cosmic System and discovering that there is no life looking back to our old ways.

I just gave you two examples of individuals who made wrong choices, (Abraham and lot) but God turned the curses to blessings.

In 2Pe 2:7 he was called “just”, holy and righteous.

Then we have Jacob, the liar and swindler. He was subtle and crafty according to Gen 25:31-33. he was the master at deceiving people, Gen 27:18-29.

He cheated, he lied, and he stole his brother Esau’s birthright as the privileged one or the first-born with the double portion of blessings from our Lord; Gen 25:29-34.

Jacob even deceived his own father, Isaac in his old age, Gen 27:1-29.

I want you all to see and comprehend and understand the kind of people who the Lord uses to fulfill His plan.

1Co 1:22 For indeed Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom;

The Lord was so successful in this transformation of Jacob to a Prince with God especially = God is the one doing the changing and reveals what it was that really and truly changed Jacob into a Prince with God.

This experiment was so fantastic that Jacob literally changed because of one major doctrinal principle, which is the fact that Jacob, with all his faults also had positive volition toward doctrine; Heb 11:20-21.

In Heb 11:20, we read By faith — which is the Greek feminine noun pistis which is an instrumental of means meaning “By Means of doctrine.”

In Heb 11:21, Jacob was called a man of doctrine.

His name Jacob which means deceiver and supplanter was changed to Israel meaning the prince of God.

Heb 2:11b “For which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

The Lord will not be ashamed of him when He appears He will call Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

How about Moses, who murdered a man with his bare hands, Exo 2:11-12.

Exo 2:11 Now it came about in those days, when Moses had grown up, that he went out to his brethren and looked on their hard labors; and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.

Exo 2:12 So he looked this way and that, and when he saw there was no one around, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

Moses made excuses in Exo 3 of why he could not serve God.

Exo 3:11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?”

Moses got angry but in Heb 3:5 Moses was called faithful in all his house and in heaven he will have his song sung with the Lamb of God and be called the servant of God, Rev 15:3.

In Num 12:3, this same man with all of his insecurities was called the Meekest Man in all the Earth.

What of Samson, who lusted after a wicked woman in Jdg 14:1-3, and wanted her so badly that he was willing to do anything for her.

In Judg 6:1, the kind of person that our Lord used went to a prostitute and stayed with her all night.

In Jdg 16, samson finally gave in to Delilah, a woman sent to haunt him and take away his spiritual power.

Jdg 16:28 – the Lord empowered Samson and when his name is mentioned in the N.T. as in Heb 11:32-33, it was said that he subdued kingdoms, produced righteousness, and obtained promises.

Elijah yielded to discouragement, 1Ki 19.

Elijah even wanted to die and quit living; 1Ki 19.

King Saul lost his crown, his cool, and his self-control. He became jealous, vindictive, superstitious, and even committed suicide in 1Sa 31:4.

It will be said of him that as King of Israel he was lovely and pleasant in his life, 2Sa 1:23.

Solomon — a fool with luxurious living, 1Ki 4. Who married heathen women and brought in idol worship, 1Ki 11. He had 700 wives and 300 concubines, 1Ki 11:3. He oppressed the people and condoned idolatry, 1Ki 11,12.

In Matt 12:42 our Lord refers to him as a great man of wisdom.

What of Jonah who ran from God and refused to go where God sent him?

He even became disappointed over his missionary success because he hated the Ninevites. But Jonah was taught a lesson of divine love, and the Lord will refer to him as a great prophet, Luk 11:32.

Luk 11:32 “The men of Nineveh shall stand up with this generation at the judgment and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

All the apostles will fail and forsake our Lord.

Peter will deny the Lord three times but still preach at Pentecost.

The prodigal son in Luk 15 will come home to his father after riotous living but the father will love him and have compassion and celebrate his coming home.

John-Mark will freak out and quit and argue with the apostle Paul back home but he will be forgiven and write the entire gospel of Mark.

We could mention the apostle Paul and his disobedience in going into Jerusalem and compromising his doctrine. Or his lack of compassion and forgiveness toward John-Mark in Acts 15:38.

Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

The Tree of Life is a weekly teaching summary: God’s Word is taught Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

STUDY TITLE:

Many believers believe we are in the last days but unfortunately, many are too occupied with their own plans rather than the Lord’s.

Do you know that we live in one of the greatest times all of all human history?

Think about it.

It’s only been in the last century and a half or so, that we have the automobile, electricity, planes, jets, computers, the advances in the military, medical, and many other things we all could mention.

However, in spite of all the great advances that mankind has discovered or made, the most exciting time in all of human history is the time that is right at the door = Rapture and the Second Advent.

Most of us do agree that we in the last days. There are many believers who believe we are in those last days but unfortunately, in these last days, most believers are too occupied with their own plans rather than the plans of GOD.

We all should consider the fact that there are a few prophecies that were made thousands of years ago that seem to tell us we are in the last days. For example, in Dan 12:3, And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Here we see the importance of winning souls to the LORD.

This is why Solomon wrote this in Prov 11:30, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls.

Dan 12:4 goes on to say, But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.

Notice a few things here; in Dan 12:4. Daniel is told by GOD to conceal or hide the words and seal up the book until the end of time. It is also at the end of time or the last days that certain prophecies and promises will be fulfilled by our LORD.

For example: We are told that in the last days people will travel from all over the world and in some cases they will also travel outside of the world and knowledge shall increase.

However, even more importantly than this are the facts that state what the majority of believers have become in these last days of the Church-age; Rev 3:14-22.

Rev 3:14-22, “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of GOD, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.

Because you say, I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich, and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and {that} the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

One of the most asked questions in a doctrinal ministry is usually that people wonder why we go back to the original language to study the Bible?

Why do we have to note the Greek? Why can’t we just stick with the English translation?

Have you ever thought, or can you imagine what would happen today if we had one book that was proven to be written by hand by our LORD. Can you imagine what would happen today if we had some of the garments that Jesus wore? Or some of the glasses that Jesus drank from?

Well, the answer is that people would begin worshipping the physical object. That was the story of the Brass Serpent in Num 21.

Some people already get too close to this with the objects of the Cross.

This is another reason why we do not have one entire complete Bible Translation anywhere in the world because if we did, then Christianity would be nothing more than just another man-made religion.

My point is that instead of worshipping our LORD, most believers would have settled for a convenient religion which does not require total dedication and devotion on the part of believers; Gal 5:1; John 8:31-32.

Now, many of the principles we have been noting this past week come from the Apostle Peter and they are based upon the principle that Peter wrote in 1Pe 3:15, always being read to give the reasons for your confidence. It’s interesting that if you do a study on 1 Peter and 2 Peter, you will see an amazing difference between the two Epistles.

And what is that difference?

I believe that one of the main reasons that 2 Peter is more advanced than 1 Peter is that 2 Peter teaches more about mystery doctrine than 1 Peter. And, it’s also interesting that the one apostle who learned more about the mystery doctrine of the Church-age was the one apostle who welcomed the Apostle Paul, even more than all the other apostles put together.

The difference between 1Peter and 2Peter = the influence of the apostle Paul. Bible doctrine must be taught based on three principles.

1. Isagogics is the historical setting of the passage.

2. Categories is the systematic theology developed from combining Scripture with Scripture.

3. Exegesis is the grammatical and syntactical analysis of the passage from the original languages.

Matt 24:1-3, And Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. And He answered and said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here shall be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what {will be} the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

This is not a message on the last days, these are just some of the signs or the areas that believers need to be alert to and prepared for the coming of the last days.

1. False prophets and false Christs, Matt 24:5,11.

2. Wars; Matt 24:6.

3. Famines; Matt 24:7.

4. Earthquakes; Matt 24:7.

5. Tribulations; Matt 24:8-9.

6. The Gospel will be preached throughout the world; Matt 24:14.

Now, the “Great Commission” which was given first to HIS disciples who were about to become Apostles, and they needed to understand the commands or the instructions known now as the Great Commission.

The disciples will all need to be prepared and ready to fulfill such challenges as the Great Commission; Matt 28:16-20, But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying,

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

With this command to preach the Gospel and make disciples we all, apostles included, need to fulfill 1Pe 3:15.

We continue in 1Pe 3:8-22, To sum up, let all be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. Let him who means to love life and see good days. Refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking guile. And let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil. And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, {you are} blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as LORD in your hearts, always {being} ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better, if GOD should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong. For Christ also died for sins once for all, {the} just for {the} unjust, in order that He might bring us to GOD, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits {now} in prison, who once were disobedient, when the patience of GOD kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through {the} water. And corresponding to that, baptism now saves you not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to GOD for a good conscience through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of GOD, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.

The disciples will all need to be prepared and ready to fulfill such challenges as the Great Commission; Matt 28. The point is that all these things should cause us to become excited about the time in which we live. It should also cause us to invest in the kingdom of GOD and not the world controlled by Satan and his kingdom of darkness.

Remember the words of our LORD concerning those who are in bondage to money, riches, and power. However, notice the words of our LORD beginning in Luke 12:16-21, And He told them a parable, saying, “The land of a certain rich man was very productive. And he began reasoning to himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?’

And he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years {to come;} take your ease, eat, drink {and} be merry.

But GOD said to him, ‘You fool! This {very} night your soul is required of you; and {now} who will own what you have prepared?’ So is the man who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward GOD.”

So, two simple questions:

1. Why do we have to note the Greek Language? Why can’t we have more pot-luck dinners? Singles night? Bingo, Raffles. More children from the church going door to door selling chocolate candy bars, magazines.

2. Why can’t we just stick with the English translation?

Let me try to answer those two questions with a little bit of humor since we seem a large group today who also seem to have a Relaxed Mental Attitude.

And so, as I answer these two questions, they may seem to be a little witty at times but they’re still true. Some of these principles I’m sure you have heard before so relax and enjoy.

There are three languages that the Bible was written in and that would be the Hebrew and the Aramaic which are both found in the Old Testament, and Koine (common Greek) which is found in the New Testament.

I will just give you a simple statement that says what I want you to listen to, and here it is: In the English language some words sound exactly alike and yet they are spelled differently, some words are spelled differently and yet they sound alike.

The point is that when GOD chose the Koine Greek language to write the New Testament, He chose a language that has seven words to every one word in the English language.

Now, consider the English language, think about it objectively, and notice some of the words that are being used and how difficult it would be if all we had was the English translation.

Here are a few things to think about that are funny at times but true. When it comes to the English language:

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways? Shouldn’t we be parking on parkways and driving on driveways?

Why do we call something transported by car a shipment, and something transported by ship, cargo?

Or if vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?

Why do you recite at a play and play a recital?

Why do we have noses that run and feet that smell?

Well, these are just some of the reasons why it’s good to go back to the original language when studying the Bible.

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: The LORD wants His people to have happiness, good health, prosperity, peace, contentment, His way.

There are a lot of different analogies that we could extrapolate from the vine and the branches concerning the function of a vine and its branches in the natural realm = apply in the spiritual realm.

There are certain biblical principles found in the “Word of God” that take place in the natural realm so that we can apply the same type of principles in the spiritual realm as our guide.

In the spiritual realm, we should be prepared to receive the Word of God because no matter what we face in the devil’s world, the Word of God is always made available to those who desire to know it.

You can cannot know the Truth unless you search for the Truth and once you do, then Romans 10 becomes a reality.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Most of us realize the importance that God places upon His Word and the gratitude that He gives to those who search for His truth or His Word.

Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

He wants His people to have happiness, good health, prosperity, peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment; according to Jer 29:11-13.

The Hebrew noun for welfare – shalom = meaning prosperity, happiness, good health, peace, quietness, tranquility, contentment, etc.

It has nothing to do with what is known today as the “Welfare System” = nothing more than a group of liars, cheats, thieves, hypocrites, deceivers, etc.

David sought the protection of King Achish when he first fled from King Saul but most scholars believe that King Achish and King Abimelech are one and the same as the king of the Philistines.

Psa 34:10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.

Fearing rough treatment or betrayal by Achish, David feigned or faked madness or being crazy.

David’s solution to the problem that he faced among the Philistines was to act crazy which was not the solution that our Lord wanted David to use; Isa 55:7-9.

1. The branch refers to the believer and his relationship with the Vine that releases life to the branches so that the branches reproduce fruit, that is the fruit of the Vine which is the fruit of the Spirit.

2. The branch is also used by our Lord because “live branches” indicates productivity and the productivity for the Church-age must come from the believer who is on the earth.

Your productivity really begins from you realizing that you are an ambassador for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Believers can and do commit some type of sin that not only shocks them but also it shocks those believers who say or think that anyone who sins as a believer has lost their salvation.

Our Lord is teaching His disciples the difference between “suffering for blessing” and “suffering for divine discipline.”

Why did the Lord teach His disciples such a controversial subject which really is about divine discipline and suffering for blessing?

I believe our Lord was preparing His disciples to always be ready to give to everyone the reasons that they can handle adversity or prosperity as well as “deserved suffering and undeserved suffering.”

Look at Silvanus, who Peter calls our faithful brother who through the grace and power of God exhorted and testified that this is the true grace of God that we should stand firm in.

We cannot lose our salvation by committing any type of sins and that’s why I have chosen to emphasize the different approaches we could take by using the word “Approach.”

As you are living the spiritual life, you proceed to advance toward the goal that is set before you as Phil 3:14 “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

To do this you have to make sure that you do not fall away from the Lord but believe that you can live the spiritual life as you forget what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.

1. So, our “first approach” concerning the doctrine of eternal security I call the Positional Approach: Rom 8:1; Eph 1:3-6; Jude 1.

Every believer is in union with Christ and is perfect in their position but not in their condition which is why the apostle Paul says certain things the way he does in Rom 8.

Notice, if you are “in Christ,” then this verse says you will never be condemned or judged by God no matter what you think, say, or do.

There is conviction by God the Holy Spirit, which is legitimate, but condemnation is not.

Holy Spirit conviction verses satanic condemnation is always a crossroads as to which way we will go.

Holy Spirit conviction always gives us a way out in which the grace of God is magnified and reconciliation is the goal of God the Holy Spirit.

Whereas satanic accusations condemn a person and has no way out except satanic condemnation.

It is the Spirit verses Satan.

Conviction verses condemnation.

It is life spiritually or death experientially.

Even though our lives will be judged according to the word of God, it is an evaluation of our works not condemnation for our sins.

First of all, we have our Lord’s word on the type of judgment we will face; John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

In John 3:17, TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ] addresses the subject of judgment; “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.

John 5:22 “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

John 12:47-48; “I have come as light into the world, that everyone who believes in Me may not remain in darkness.

John 12:47 “And if anyone hears My sayings, and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

John 12:48 “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.

Even when our Lord had to judge us which was really His way of evaluating the lifestyle that we live; He did so with grace and honor motivated by agape love.

Most of you have heard these passages throughout the Word of God and when we are told that we are “in Christ” that is our position and not our condition.

Our position in Christ guarantees that there is no condemnation for any of us who have been saved.

The Bible says we will all have to face not only deserved suffering but also underserved suffering as well; Phil 1:29; 1Pe 3:12-18.

Phil 1:29 For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Notice that the apostle Peter says that you and I can suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong. = Undeserved Suffering.

1Pe 3:18 = our Lord died for the sins of the whole world, once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

The hills along the Kidron Valley outside of Jerusalem are covered with grape vines, and as Jesus and the disciples left the upper room and were walking along the hill side covered with grape vines.

Our Lord’s disciples were walking through the vineyards which were a growth area for the grape vine is not a chance encounter, it was an action of divine providence.

God specifically designed things so that this event would take place, and that Jesus would go by the grape vines, and He would use this as an analogy of the believer’s relationship to Himself.

Billions and billions of years ago, the Lord created the grape vine in order to teach certain things about the Christian life and then Christian’s relationship to God.

God created the sheep so that He could utilize it as an analogy to teach certain things about the life of the believer.

One thing we learn about the vine is that the wood itself is useless.

You can take the wood of the vine and burn it to make heat. You can’t use it to make furniture or to make weapons.

The wood itself is virtually useless. It is good for only one thing: producing fruit.

In the different forms of typology, wood represents humanity, sometimes in a good way, other times in a useless way.

He is not good in and of himself, he is only good because of what Christ has done for him, and what He has supplied for him.

The purpose for planting the vine is equivalent to salvation, but you don’t plant the vine just for the enjoyment of its growth. The purpose is in the end result which is the production of fruit.

Only mature plants produce fruit. Immature plants are to continue to grow.

The purpose of a plant is to produce fruit but it doesn’t produce fruit until it is mature or aged.

All the time it is maturing, it has to be fed all the right nutrients under the right conditions, and then it absorbs all of that nutrition from the soil in order to produce fruit.

You don’t really start producing fruit in your life until you are a mature or aged believer.

Fruit is defined as going to prayer meeting, having your daily devotions, reading your Bible every day, giving to the church, witnessing, etc.

The Scriptures do not define that as production, that is the function of the believer’s priesthood, not production.

When talking about fruit—for example, in Gal 5:22-23—the fruitproduction of the Holy Spirit is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” etc.

The production of fruit is character, an inner transformation of the soul into the character of Jesus Christ.

That takes time, it takes the proper nutrition, the proper feeding and handling.

Two things: the filling by means of God the Holy Spirit—Eph 5:18; and the content of that filling is the Word of Christ—Col 3:16, “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you.”

One of the most important messages our Lord taught His disciples in the Vine and the branches is the place of suffering according to the Word of God.

The apostle Paul taught His disciples and followers how they can glory in their sufferings and the great principles that suffering produces, such as perseverance; character; and hope.

Rom 5:3-4 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

The apostle Paul also gave some great doctrinal advice to the Corinthians concerning the divine viewpoint on suffering; 2Co 1:2-7.

Positive results of suffering — 1Pe 4:1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.

That is ceased from the power of the Old Sin Nature controlling the souls of believers and unbelievers.

“ceased from sin” does not mean that they no longer sin but it does mean they have reached a point where the sin nature no longer has dominion over the individual.

Acts 5:41 So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Prin-All undeserved suffering requires you to use the inventory of your doctrine resident in your soul.

Gal 6:5 For each one shall bear his own load.

In Lam 3:27-28, “It is good for a man (human race) that he should bear the yoke in his youth [youthful vigor]. Let him sit alone and be silent since has laid it on him.

Gen 32:24, it wasn’t until Jacob was left alone with the Lord that his named was changed to Israel, a prince with God.

Sermon Spiritual Gifts for the Believer in the LORD Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Gifts for the Believer in the LORD Jesus Christ.

Salvation and living the spiritual life is said to be a gift; Eph 2:8-10.

Gift of Justification; Rom 3:24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Gift of Perfect Righteousness: Rom 5:17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Gift of Eternal Life: Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Spiritual Gifts: Rom 12:6 And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;

Gift Celibacy: 1Co 7:7 Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that.

Indescribable gift: 2Co 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Finances called gifts: Phil 4:16-17; for even in Thessalonica you sent a gift more than once for my needs. Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

One of the many things that impressed me in John 15, are all the different doctrines that are found between John 13-17.

Some of these doctrines were brand new doctrines that were never heard or taught before the Gospel of John; Rom 16:25-27.

One of those lessons dealt with God the Holy Spirit who did at least seven things for each Church-age believer at the moment of their salvation.

What was the preaching of Jonah that caused the Ninevites to repent or to change their mind concerning Jehovah or our Lord?

Our Lord used the three days and the three nights that He was in the belly of the whale or the belly of one of the largest fishes of his day, to teach the doctrinal principle.

He revealed concerning salvation, He evangelized the wickedness of the Ninevites, and also revealed that something greater than Jonah’s experience is here.

“something greater than Solomon is here” — does not refer to “someone greater than Solomon is here,” although our Lord was greater than Solomon.

“something greater” than what Solomon taught is here and that “something greater” refers to the new teachings that our Lord brought to His people.

John 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

We have something far greater and more challenging than the blasphemy professed by the “tongues crowd” or the “emotional revolt of the soul crowd;” = have and hold doctrine in our soul; Psa 56:4-11.

This was either written “by David” or written “for David” when David was outnumbered by the Philistines who seized him in Gath.

David “faking madness” or pretending that “he was crazy” because to hurt or to harm a person who was mentally disturbed was considered an action that brought curses upon the family of the ones who did.

On one occasion, while he was being hunted by King Saul, who was extremely jealous of David who Saul was trying to kill or have him killed, David stooped so low that he faked madness.

In the ancient world, it was considered to be a curse or bad luck if anyone took advantage of those who were mentally challenged by mistreating them or hurting them in some way.

King Achish, the king of Gath, would not touch David or hurt him in any way.

Upon discovering who he was, the Philistines suggested to Achish that David was a security risk, and David became afraid and ran away for his life.

David disguised his sanity by acting insane.

Thinking David was crazy, King Achish of the Philistines let him go with his life, as he was considered a harmless idiot.

This is a reference to the fact that David had to be on the alert at all times because his enemies would not leave him alone.

This means, not only should we praise God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, but we should also “Praise the Word;” Psa 56:4; 56:10.

Now, concerning the ministries that God the Holy Spirit is said to graciously give to us and provide for us although we are given some fantastic blessings at the moment of salvation.

They are used in the way our Lord created them to be used and that is for either the “legitimate emotion of sorrow or hurt” or the “legitimate emotion of laughter and rejoicing.”

Efficacious grace — enables the believer to have an effective faith in Christ; Heb 9:14.

Regeneration – Born Again; Tit 3:5; 1Pe 1:23.

Baptism of the Spirit; — Union with Christ; 1Co 12:13; Gal 3:26-28; Eph 4:5.

Indwelling of the Spirit; 1Co 3:16, 6:19-20; 2Co 6:16.

Filling of the Holy Spirit; Eph 5:18; Gal 5:16.

Sealing of the Holy Spirit; Eph 1:13-14, 4:30.

The Sovereign Distribution of Spiritual Gifts to each Believer by the believer.

Efficacious grace = the enabling power of God the Holy Spirit which enables the believer to have an effective faith in Christ as Savior.

The second ministry of the Holy Spirit at salvation is called regeneration. It is taught in Tit 3:5; 1Pe 1:23.

The third ministry of God the Holy Spirit is the baptism of the Spirit, which was prophesied in Acts 1:5. Also it is mentioned in principle and mechanics in 1Co 12:13; Gal 3:26-28; Eph 4:5.

1CO 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

EPH 4:4-5, There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

At the moment we believed in Christ, God the Holy Spirit took each one of us and entered us into union with the person of Jesus Christ.

We share His eternal life (1Jo 5:11-12), giving us a double portion of eternal life.

We also share His righteousness, giving us a double portion; Rom 5:17-21.

We share Christ’s destiny under predestination; Eph 1:3-4.

We share Christ’s election; Eph 1:4.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he has been given a third royal title. We share in His royalty as His royal family; 1Pe 2:5, 9.

We become a new spiritual species; Gal 6:15; 2Co 5:17.

Once you are put into union with Christ (positional sanctification), you can never get out. There is no sin or human good or evil you can perform that can disqualify you from being in union with Christ.

The baptism of the Spirit is the basis for the new spiritual species and the royal family of God = a unifying factor in the body of Christ as we have equal privilege and opportunity to execute God’s plan.

The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. At the moment you believe in Christ, God the Holy Spirit indwells your body, 1Co 3:16, 6:19-20; 2Co 6:16; — “Your body is a temple of the Spirit who is in you.”

The purpose of the indwelling of the Spirit is to provide a temple for the indwelling of Jesus Christ as the Shekinah Glory.

In the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle and temple, our Lord Jesus Christ dwelt between the cherubs as the Shekinah Glory. His presence there was a guarantee of blessing through their unconditional covenants.

Just as Christ indwelt the Holy of Holies in the temple in Jerusalem as a guarantee of blessing to Israel, so He indwells us as a guarantee of our escrow blessings.

For Jesus Christ is the escrow officer; He is the one who makes the distribution of our escrow blessings for time and for the eternal state.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit relates to the body of the believer, while the filling of the Holy Spirit relates to the soul of the believer.

The indwelling of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit have nothing to do with your spiritual life experientially.

It is the filling of the Holy Spirit that has to do with your spiritual life.

The filling of the Spirit is when the believer resides in the PPOG where he “walks by means of the Spirit,” where the Holy Spirit controls his soul, which is distinct from his body.At the moment of salvation we are all given the Filling of the Holy Spirit as taught in Eph 5:18; Gal 5:16.

We are filled with the Spirit at salvation when God the Holy Spirit takes us and enters us into the plan of God as our very own castle or palace, which comes from the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] leading to the PSD [personal sense of destiny].

The believer in the PPOG is filled with the Spirit, which is the same as being under the enabling power of the Spirit, and this continues as long as he does not sin.

When we sin, we lose the filling of the Holy Spirit and enter into:

Cosmic One = we grieve the Spirit. Cosmic Two = we quench the Spirit.

The Sealing Ministry of the Holy Spirit is found in Eph 1:13-14, 4:30.

Sealing ministry of the Spirit is a signature guarantee of:

1. The Holy Spirit’s ministry in efficacious grace.

2. Eternal life.

3. Eternal security in time.

4. Your portfolio of invisible assets.

This is His ministry whereby the Holy Spirit signs the guarantee of our salvation, eternal life, eternal security, and portfolio of invisible assets.

He puts His signature to our lives that we actually have our portfolio and escrow blessings.

God provided certain blessings for every individual that He created with one purpose in mind and that is to fulfill what the apostle Paul said in 1TI 2:3-4.

1TI 2:3-4, This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who (He) desires all men to be saved and to come to the epignosis knowledge or the metabolized doctrine of the truth.

We have God’s will for the unbeliever which is the fact that He desires all men to be saved; Prt 1.

God’s will for the believer and that is to metabolize gnosis into epignosis and to come to the reality of living the spiritual life and the knowledge of the truth; Prt 2.

The seventh ministry of God the Holy Spirit which is The Sovereign Distribution of Spiritual Gifts to each Believer.

God the Father was involved in the distribution of spiritual gifts as a witness to the strategic victory of Jesus Christ after His ascension. This began in the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union, HEB 2:4.

HEB 2:4 God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

God the Son was involved in the initial distribution of spiritual gifts to the first generation of the body of Christ or royal family.

Roman Triumphal Procession = the distribution of blessings as a result of the Triumph of our Lord which ended the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union (Resurrection, Ascension, Session). Eph 4:7-8After the first generation of the royal family, God the Holy Spirit is involved in all subsequent distribution of spiritual gifts, 1Co 12:11.

I can cheat, I can lie; I love leaving my mark.

I am found in the family; I am found in the park; I am found on the job, I am found in the dark.

I can go as far back — as I stab in the back; Those left in the dark – who I love to attack.

I am cruel and malicious; I gain strength through rage.

The more I am quoted, the more people age.

I flourish at times; When people think they’re on stage, My victims are helpless, and filled with rage.

They have no idea; How I will appear Even though they know, that I am near.

They do not know, or they do not care that I am close and really near.

Every time it’s clear for me to be near I’ll make sure that I cause fear.

Listen to me, and I Will Disgrace; Those who listen to lies and forget about grace.

You will never realize, When I am in place I have no name; I have no face.

I will always be near, just in case I love destroying the human race.

I spread lies, just in case I need to deceive you right to your face.

To track me down is an impossible task.

The harder you try, the more questions you’ll ask The more I hurt others, the old and the young I know Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

I’m nobody’s friend, though I do appear In every generation I control by fear.

I tarnish reputations, so that they’re never the same. I Topple governments and marriages, until they’re insane.

I ruin careers — no matter the price; I cause sleepless nights, and give bad advice.

With heartaches and fears, I can be so precise.

So, you better think twice, and have a warning device You can be enticed — To think sacrifice

But you better be careful — It’s a fool’s paradise.

I will cause suspicion — and also cause grief.

I know how easy – it is to deceive.

Deceptions my goal — so I try to make, Everyone who listens to the gossip snake.

You should hope no one listens — and makes the mistake.

To refuse to get rid of the Gossip snake.

Even though that I may take — Just a little break. Make no mistake – I still remain – the gossip snake.

To get rid of me — And to escape. The lies I make — As the Gossip Snake.

There’s only one way — So you must be awake. And that is to forsake — The gossip snake.

I am also called gossip — social gossip, family gossip, gossip among friends or gossip among those who we thought were our friends, gossip among neighbors.

Study to show yourself approved to God!

STUDY TITLE:

Positional Truth, Union with Christ, the Baptism of the Spirit and indwelling of our LORD Jesus Christ. 17 Principles.

There are at least eight different descriptions that describe the closeness and the intimacy we have with our LORD during the Church-age.

1. The Last Adam [Jesus Christ] and the New Creation.

2. The Head and the Body.

3. The Shepherd and the Sheep.

4. The Vine and the branches.

5. The Cornerstone and the building.

6. The High Priest and the Royal Priesthood.

7. The Groom and the Bride analogy (Christian marriage).

8. The King of kings and the Royal Family of GOD.

These were the eight different expressions that should exist among our LORD’s people, especially when it comes to Positional Truth, Union with Christ, the Baptism of the Spirit and indwelling of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Therefore, Satan has one major goal in the life of every believer and that goal is to lead all believers astray from the LORD and that is why any area that we do not have sound doctrine in, is an area open to satanic deception; Eph 4:27. One of the interesting principles that I’ve noticed recently that I do not think it is being stressed enough today is the fact that: When we are warned by our LORD concerning Satan and his deceptions, we are also told to beware or to be on guard in our daily relationships with others because Satan’s goal is to break down any unity that exists among GOD’s people.

Beginning in Eph 4:17, the apostle Paul warns us to stop living like the gentiles or the unbelievers who have no idea as to who they are and why they were created, so the Apostle says: “This I say therefore, and affirm together with the LORD, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles [unbelievers] also walk, in the futility or the vanity of their mind,

Eph 4:18-22, being darkened in their understanding [black-out of the soul], excluded from the life of GOD [they reject the Word of GOD and the people of GOD], because of the ignorance [the false doctrines and lies] that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart [a reference to scar tissue of the soul which results from continual NVTD=negative volition towards doctrine]; and they, having become callous [heartless; cold-heartedness, insensitivity and even cruel at times], (they) have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.

However, in verse 20, here comes a compliment maybe it was received as anabolism; Eph 4:20, But you did not learn Christ in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self [rebound], which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,

Paul is saying reject the temptations of your old sin nature and your former way of life because it keeps on being corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes by “Putting on your New Nature, which has been created to be like GOD” which refers to His love, righteousness and justice — Righteous and Holy.

Eph 4:23-24, we have a command which says; that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind or the breathing of the soul, and put on the new self [rebound and be filled with the Spirit], which in the likeness of GOD has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

This refers to a life renewed from the inside and working itself into our conduct overtly as GOD accurately reproduces His character in us.

Because of this reference to rebound and being filled with the Spirit, the apostle Paul now brings in the reasons why we must learn to rebound and recover because we will need to do just that in the normal relationships and problems in life.

These are some of the areas that we need to watch out for because along with intimacy there is also jealousy, and that jealousy, of course, is what drives Satan and his kingdom of darkness to do whatever evil we allow them to do, not by permission but omission.

What do I mean by that: not by permission but omission?

I mean that Satan and his kingdom of darkness doesn’t wait around for an invitation from us as permission to do whatever evil he desires to do. However, even though we do not give Satan and his evil spirits permission, our omission is what can give the devil the opportunity to set a room, or rooms, in our soul with negative volition toward our LORD Jesus Christ and is usually the cause of us ending up in one of the ditches of the cosmic system.

Omission means to neglect not reject. It is failure to do something, especially something for someone that we all have an obligation to do. Omission is also described as negligence, dereliction, forgetfulness, or even a total disregard for something or someone who is special and is not classified as a lukewarm believer; Rev 3:15-16.

Rev 3:15-16, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.”

The sin of omission is really explained by James, our LORD’s half-brother; James 4:17, Therefore, to one who knows {the} right thing to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin. This describes the majority of believers today. They do not come right out and reject their responsibilities, they just think that it’s not that important that they accept it so they neglect whatever it is that they are responsible for …which sometimes is worse than rejection as spiritual cowards; Matt 6:22-23.

Omission also is defined by a failure to do something, especially something that one has a moral or legal obligation to do. And so, they disregard the 613 commands of GOD in the Bible. The Bible is filled with commands, not the Ten Commandments but hundreds of commands.

Most believers do not have any idea what I am talking about. They don’t even know how many commands there are, let alone what the commands actually say and to whom it was said.

The Jewish people often speak of the 613 commands found in the Torah, yet in the remainder of the Old Testament there are hundreds of other commands, including commands given in the writings, and also commands given through the prophets (Dan 9:10).

Now, so far I am referring to all kinds of people in all kinds of different situations but especially for those believers who have Positive Volition Towards Doctrine ( PVTD), and therefore they are under satanic attack in all areas of their life. This is also one of the reasons why all of us should know the importance of the Divine Institutions especially for believers who know the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

They are the ones who will definitely be under attack by Satan and his kingdom in the following areas that the apostle Paul mentions in the book of Ephesians and they are constantly under attack by the devil.

In fact, that is exactly the way the apostle Paul laid it out for us: Let me show you.

1. We know that the Gospel will always be under attack and therefore we cannot afford to omit and facet at all concerning salvation as mentioned in the Bible; Eph 2:8-9, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of GOD; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

2. Then we know that after our salvation we need the answer to that very important question: “After salvation, what? Therefore, the apostle Paul tells us what we should be doing after salvation: Eph 2:10, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Then the answer to the next obvious question which is: “Who is going to teach us all these things?”

3. This is when Paul continues somewhat in a chronological way as he writes that very popular verse, especially for those who are under the doctrine of mystery and how they will be taught that doctrine. The divine solution to protect the unity of Christ is given in Eph 4:11, And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

4. From here, the next attacks that Satan will try and use to his advantage is to attack rebound and recovery; Eph 4:22-24.

So, GOD the Holy Spirit, Paul’s Mentor, knew that Satan would attack rebound and recovery and make an issue out of sin rather than the Son, and that believers need to feel sorry for their sins, which, of course, is blasphemous; 2Co 7:10, For the sorrow that is according to the will of GOD produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

So, GOD the Holy Spirit answers the attacks made by Satan beginning in Eph 4:22-24, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of GOD has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Now, when the believer has built a “soul structure” with his soul and human spirit based upon a solid foundation, it is from here that we have some direct commands from the apostle Paul. These commands are from our LORD and they are designed to protect us from deception especially when Satan uses members of our own family or members of our Royal family to try and deceive us.

We cannot afford to give the devil a topos as Paul writes in Eph 4:27, meaning a place, or a room, or even a cellar or a closet, perhaps an attic or a garage – Do not let him in or win – because if you do, it may be too much for you to handle unless you have the protection of the wall of fire because you are living in the Pre-Designed Plan of GOD.

5. This satanic trap is energized and mobilized with deception and lies and therefore, the divine solution is the only solution as the apostle Paul says in Eph 4:25, the apostle Paul tells us to “lay aside the lies and speak truth with one another.”

In other words, stop your lying and deceiving, especially because you even lie and deceive yourself, which is self-induced misery or in many other cases, it’s just plain old stupidity.

Because of this satanic attack, the apostle Paul says in Eph 4:25, Therefore, laying aside falsehood (the lie of the cosmic system), speak truth, each one of you, with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

6. So, because of that, Paul says, “It’s alright to be angry at times if it’s identification with Divine Indignation; Eph 4:26-27, Be angry [when justified], and yet do not sin; and do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.

7. And there is another problem that Satan will try to use against the believers who have PVTD, which is for them to stop stealing from one another; Eph 4:28, Let him who steals steal no longer; but rather let him labor, performing with his own hands what is good, in order that he may have something to share with him who has need.

8. Then there’s the problem with the sins of the tongue which is a very powerful weapon for Satan because these types of sins are designed to mislead and deceive others; Eph 4:29, Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.

9. Another area we need to be aware of is our fellowship with the Spirit when the problem is that we have broken fellowship with GOD the Holy Spirit; Eph 4:30, And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of GOD, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

10. Then there’s the problem with mental attitude sins that causes fellowship with GOD to be broken is also promoted by the kingdom of darkness under Satan’s control; Eph 4:31, Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

11. The problem with an unforgiving judgmental individual who is plagued by failure and who is envious of those who the LORD promotes; Eph 4:32, And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as GOD in Christ also has forgiven you.

12 .Then with all of those natural problems, we also have our share of spiritual problems and so our LORD commands us to use the divine solution which is mentioned Eph 5:1-2, Therefore be imitators of GOD, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to GOD as a fragrant aroma.

13. Another attack used by Satan and the kingdom of darkness is to attack believers by instilling fears and worries and doubts concerning GOD’s will for their life; The divine solution is found in Eph 5:15-17, Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the LORD is.

14. One of the most important doctrines that Satan uses to distort and to confuse other believers is the power needed to execute the spiritual life and to glorify our LORD, which is the filling of the Spirit; Eph 5:18, a command to be filled with the Spirit. Most of you are familiar with the verse and the importance of the doctrine.

15. Another vital principle that Satan and his kingdom of darkness uses is marriage, which is one of the final areas of satanic victory because it is an easy area to attack; In Eph 5:22-25, the divine solution to marriage is given: Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the LORD. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her;

And then the divine solution in marriage has more to do with the Church as the Bride of Christ so Paul writes Eph 5:30-32, because we are members of His body. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. [Then the ultimate manifestation of what marriage was designed for] This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

16. Then we must be prepared to handle any satanic attacks upon family, Eph 6:1-4, Children, obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the LORD.

17. Then we have the satanic deception that is related to our job, and another area where Satan can cause divisions and dissensions between the employer and employee; The divine solution is given beginning in Eph 6:5-9, Slaves [employees], be obedient to those who are your masters [employer] according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; not by way of eyeservice, as men pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of GOD from the heart. With good will render service, as to the LORD, and not to men, knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the LORD, whether slave or free. And, employers or masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Those first 17 principles were all a part of our training ground as disciples and Christian soldiers, so that we will be prepared to handle the ultimate attack, which is spiritual warfare and the angelic conflict.
