Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.

1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Internet Church Service – June 18, 2023; The Angelic Conflict - Part 24 is in HD Audio ONLY; with hover pop-up scripture references in Notes.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 24 - Satan probably argued, “How can a loving God put His own creatures into the lake of fire forever?”

An appeal is presumed from the lapse of time between the sentence of fallen angels (Mat 25:41) in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the termination of human history (Rev 20:10).

Mat 25:41 Then He will also say to those on His left, “Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;”

Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

(Mat 25:41) - Human history - (Rev 20:10)

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever”

Between the passing of the sentence in eternity past and the execution of that sentence at the end of the Millennium and the Gog revolution, an appeal trial is occurring in human history.

Mark 9:23 “If You can! All things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 11:23 Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be {granted} him.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.

Human history is the actual courtroom for that trial, and mankind was created to be a part of that trial.

The formal presentation of the case: the prosecution presents its case, followed by the defense presenting its case.

The rebuttal phase: the rebuttal arguments of the prosecution [God] followed by the rebuttal arguments of the defense [Satan].

The closing argument and summary: first by the prosecution [God] and then by the defense [Satan].

The trial phase begins with the fall of man in the garden and continues until the beginning of the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

The fall of man in the garden of Eden actually duplicates the fall of Satan in the garden of God.

God created man as a rational creature lower than angels, duplicating at a reduced scale, the conditions of the prehistoric angelic conflict.

With the fall of Adam, Satan became the ruler of planet earth, from which position Satan provides the defense in the historical appeal trial of all fallen angels, 2Co 4:4.

Eze 28 - Satan led all the angels on earth in worship toward God on planet earth.

God entered His evidence by creating man just as the angels were created: innocent with the potential to love and worship God through right decisions and to become imperfect by wrong decisions.

Adam freely and deliberately chose to follow the pattern of arrogance which characterized Satan’s original revolution, Isa 14:12-14.

The rebellion of Satan in the garden of God resulted in the fall of angelic creatures. Rev 12:4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven.

The rebellion of Adam in the garden of Eden resulted in the fall of mankind. Rom 5:12 Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned

The Bible seems to reveal some sort of reconciliation for angels, Col 1:20, Phil 2:10, Heb 2:2.

In angelic history, God had provided a decision making process by which angels could express non-meritorious positive volition, so there are elect and fallen angels!

God provided salvation for all so that man can express non-meritorious positive volition through faith in Christ (John 3:16).

Through the exercise of their free will, angels are divided into two categories: elect and fallen angels (Rev 12:7, 1Ti 5:21, Mat 25:41, Mark 8:38).

Through the exercise of their free will mankind is divided into two categories: believers and unbelievers (John 3:36).
