Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have believed in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your unconfessed sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess (simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life>), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Not all churches are the house of God, because all churches do not teach truth.

“The Devil’s greatest trick was convincing the world he doesn’t exist.”

This denial is said to be one of the most successful tricks that Satan has used to deceive mankind ever since he used the lying serpent in the Garden of Eden to deceive the woman and frustrate the man.

Deception = the woman rejecting the Word of God and the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ and the authority and headship of her husband caused her to be quite deceived; 1Ti 2:9-14.

The true beauty of the woman as she demonstrates the grace and mercy of God to those who are observing how she lives, loves and respects the Lord and others; Matt 25:40.

1. adorn – the pres-act-inf of the Greek verb kosmeo to put in proper order, to decorate, to adorn with mentally, physically, even spiritually — to dress up with character and integrity.

2. There is nothing more feminine in a woman than her subordination to authority.

3. Submissiveness = the beauty and character and integrity found in the woman who honors and respects divine authority as it is set before them.

hupotage – especially as it relates to “Doctrinal women or women of Doctrine.”

4. Hupotage refers to subjection, subordination; submissiveness and obedience to authority, especially on the part of the woman.

5. Hupotage = obedience that proves itself by the acknowledgment of the apostolic proclamation of Christ (Gospel) and submission to the pastor-teacher (mystery doctrine).

6. Hupotage = the woman assembles in the local church or classroom to be taught under the concept of manthano (discipleship); John 8:31-32; Heb 10:25-26.

7. Hupotage = to be silent with good manners honoring the pastor’s authority especially when the Word of God is being taught; Ecc 5:1-4.

Jn 14:26 “But the Helper [parekletos], the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

You can very easily get your eyes on people, in fact, many people withdraw from a local assembly because of personality conflicts with others.

Solomon does not say; “Guard your steps in the house of God” although that is true, but he is talking to people who are on their way to the place of worship, and to them he says guard your steps.

Let it not be just another place to go, begin to prepare yourself to receive the word of God when you leave your home.

Qal imperative of shamar = meaning to guard, to take heed, to pay attention, to be aware, to be careful, don’t be familiar with the things of God.

Be careful, prepare yourselves to be around the people of God and to be ready to fulfill any commands or desires our Lord has for us to fulfill.

All churches are not the house of God because all churches do not teach doctrine.

The house of God is “Not a place for counseling believers or hustling around the church to do things that no one else would do.”

They usually quote scripture out of context and say such blasphemous things like “I can do all things through Him who keeps on strengthening me;” as Phil 4:13 puts it.

This was even a problem in the early church began as the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastor-teachers, were to concentrate on the communication of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

Main Verse = Ac 5:39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

The deceptions that Satan will use to wear down the saints, to try and cause them to be burnt out, to be filled with stressful situations, and to quit as a spiritual soldier which is to go AWOL spiritually.

Obvious conclusions = those who complain, criticize, murmur, and whine, are much more than those who are grateful and appreciative.

Ac 6:1, notice that the disciples were increasing and being blessed by our Lord.

Even though they were being blessed, there were complaints made on the part of the foreign Hellenistic Jews against the native Hebrews, all designed to cause divisions and to break down any unity that may exist.

Causing divisions = a big problem with Corinth as well as in other churches but the Corinthians were the ones who really did need the great agape passage of 1Co 13.

Jud 1:18 “In the last time there shall be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts. These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly minded, devoid of the Spirit.

In 1Co 12:25, Paul writes that there should be no division in the body, but {that} the members should have the same care for one another.

Prin: It is caring for one another that protects us from deception.

Here is one of the most accurate principles found in the Word of God concerning the role of the communicator of doctrine and the role of the deacons in the first Church here at Jerusalem.

Ac 6:4 “But we will devote ourselves to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”

The future act indicative of the Greek verb ‎proskartereo which means to be dedicated, to persevere in something, to be constantly diligent, to endure and always be ready.

Whenever the word of God is being taught then you can bet that the kingdom of darkness has designed a plan to try and distract you from hearing the Word of God.

If the kingdom of darkness cannot hinder you from coming to Bible class, it can try to hinder you from receiving the word of God once you are here.

1Th 2:18 For we wanted to come to you I, Paul, more than once and yet Satan hindered us.

Not only can you be hindered from coming to the house of God, you can also be distracted while you’re on your way.

Anything that can distract you and get you involved with M.A.S. [mental attitude sins] and disturb your concentration on the word of God, you will be faced with every now and then.

If you say well that’s why I travel alone, remember Eph 6:16 talks about the flaming missiles of the evil one.

Concentration on the word of God IS alive and powerful!

This means that when people go to the house of God, true worship is really listening and concentrating on the Word as it is being spoken; Lk 4:5 And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Lk 4:6 And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Then in verse 7, Satan said to our Lord, Lk 4:7 “Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours.”

We all need to discipline ourselves whenever we are listening to the Word of God and concentrating on the information that is being presented.

Worship is hearing what God’s word has to say; Rom 10:17.

Worship is singing praises to the Lord because He requests from us to do so; Col 3:16; Eph 5:19.

Eph 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;

Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms {and} hymns {and} spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Mat 26:30 And after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Ac 16:25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;

Notice in this passage that singing was an expression of contentment and inner joy for Paul and his friend Silas even in tough situations.

Heb 2:12 “I will proclaim Thy name to My brethren, In the midst of the congregation I will sing Thy praise.”

What about when we suffer?

Jm 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises.

Worship is obeying the command to bring into remembrance the blood and the body of our Lord; 1Co 11:23-24.

Worship is manifested by the accuracy of the believer to pray as the Lord guides and directs us to pray; Lk 11:1.

Lk 11:1 And it came about that while He was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.”

The ultimate form of worship is the communication of Bible doctrine; Jn 4:23-24; Psa 138:2; Psa 56:4,10, In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can {mere} man do to me?

Mat 15:9 “But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.”

Jn 4:23 He said “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

Jn 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Ac 18:13 Paul was accused of “persuading men to worship God contrary to the law” = worship in the OT had to do with the doctrine found in the Law but now the NT form of worship is found in the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

All that nonsense that you see today with singing and raising hands and clapping and yelling out pious amens and epigrams is not basic worship at all.

But that does not mean we should not sing praises especially to the Lord when we are gathered together as members of His church.

True worship is either teaching or listening.

You do more worshipping by sitting and listening and concentration under the filling of the Spirit then you could ever do while doing anything else.

Psa 138:2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple and will praise Your name for Your love and Your faithfulness, for You have exalted above all things Your name and Your word. (NIV)

NKJ — Psa 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

RSV — Psa 138:2 I bow down toward Thy holy temple and give thanks to Thy name for Thy steadfast love and Thy faithfulness; for Thou hast exalted above everything Thy name and Thy word.

We should never forget that all of us will be judged and evaluated based upon our love and desire for God’s word; Jn 12:48.

Jn 12:48 “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My doctrines, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.”

The sacrifice of fools is ritual!

The sacrifice of fools is religion!

God is interested in His word, which is active and living, changing your life for the better.

Worldly thoughts and pleasures and plans are brought not only to the very door, but even into the house of God itself.

The rulers of the house of Israel had to hear as a rebuke from the Lord because they were charging the people of God for prophecies, prayers, teachings, traditions and doctrinal instructions; Mic 3:11.

Mic 3:11 “Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests instruct for a price, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord saying, “Is not the Lord in our midst? Calamity will not come upon us.”

Isa 55:1 “Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.

Mic 3:11 Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests instruct for a price, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord saying, “Is not the Lord in our midst? Calamity will not come upon us.”

The subject or the doctrine was about (GWTJ), the Great White Throne Judgment which is the judgment of the unbelievers in the future as all of their deeds will be evaluated by our Lord Jesus Christ and their evaluation will be wanting or not accepted.

You may be wondering why their works on not accepted and that is simply because they were less than perfect and only the believer has been made perfect from salvation.

The title was one that always challenged me because of the seriousness involved — It was called: “Last looks, last words, and last thoughts!

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

This is not spiritual communism where everybody does their job or does their part because everybody does not do their job, and everybody does not do their part.

They don’t even participate in the work of God in anyway except to TAKE; TAKE; TAKE, instead of GIVE; GIVE; GIVE…they do not DO THEIR PART.

Lk 17:10 “So you too, when you do all the things which are commanded you, say, ”We are unworthy slaves; we have done {only} that which we ought to have done.”

This is the fate of the child molester, the child abuser, who will be dealt with by the Lord in different measures according to our Lord in the Gospels where He talks about the “Eternal Damnation Compartments” of the worse prison to spend all of eternity in.

Because the presence of the Deity of God the Father, the Deity of God the Son, and the Deity of God the Holy Spirit will not be there or be with them for all of eternity.

Hymn #3

The following link is to a good-news message describing how one can receive eternal life: Ticket to Heaven, it was written for anyone not absolutely certain about of their eternal future.
