Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have believed in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your unconfessed sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess (simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life>), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

The Lord desires for all of His people to accept God’s plan for their Life.

1. The Lord is called the “True Vine” because the word True refers to His character and nature or His divine essence and that is why He is called the God of Truth; Deut 32:4.

Isa 65 = our Lord warns His people about the divine discipline that they were about to receive because of the danger of rejecting the “Truth of God.” /font>

Their disobedience to the teachings of their prophets and priests led to their rejecting of the “Truth.”

Their rejection of the truth led them to rejecting of God’s plan for their life.

Rejecting God’s plan for their life means to reject the reason and the purpose for their life and why they have been created.

The reason why we have been created is to bring glory to the Lord in the midst of the angelic conflict.

Understanding the doctrine of the angelic Conflict means that we have arrived at the place that God ordained for us to arrive at, as we bring glory to the Lord.

Bringing glory to the Lord should be one of the top priorities for the believer who accepts the main reason why we all have been created – to glorify our Lord. (All Three members of the Trinity).

Rejecting God’s plan for their life means to reject the reason and the purpose for your life and why you have been created.

Once you have reached a point where life loses meaning for you, then you will say something like Solomon said…..”Vanity of vanity, all is vanity!”

All divine discipline is based upon two of the divine attributes that God possesses which is His love and His veracity which is the truth from one who has never lied to any one at any time.

Our eternal life is said to give us the confidence of eternal life because the One who promised us eternal life cannot lie; Titus 1:2.

Titus 1:2 we have the confidence of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,

Prin: He chose us before the foundation of the world billions of years ago when we were not even created at the time.

Second Prin: This also that He made us the promise of eternal life before we could even choose to make any decisions to sin.

Isa 65:11 = the Lord is addressing everyone who has fallen away from God’s plan and their own personal sense of destiny that He had just for them.

To them — their plans are really the only plans that really care about more than God’s plan.

Psa 33:10 The Lord nullifies or destroys the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples.

Frustration is one of the main reasons why believers either quit trying to live the spiritual life or they become like a stereo-type believer.

This results in “frustration” which leads to boredom and indifference as the believer loses his first love, as Rev 2:4 brings out, “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

Psa 33:11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart (go) from generation to generation.

It is either the plan of God, the Creator, or the plan of the creatures, ( Satan, the fallen angels, members of the human race), all of whom have the same thing in common – rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

By rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ, we reject the communicator of His word.

By rejecting the communicator of the word, we reject the communication of doctrine.

By rejecting the communication of doctrine, we also reject the will of God for our life.

The Lord desires for all of His people to reject our plans and learn and accept God’s plan for our Life.

Isa 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord, “Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin;

There is “the Plan of God” and “a plan for man” as well as an alliance or a treaty that is made either for the Lord or against the Lord.

The first issue we must deal with is the plan of God the Father verses the plans of man which are no match for the plan of God.

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lords.’ (Zec 4:6).

Man’s plans are constantly changing because of his instability and double mindedness; Prov 19:21 Many are the plans in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the Lord, it will stand.

Man’s plans die with man.

God’s plan elevates and bless man.

If we desire for our plans to line up with God’s plan then in Prov 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

Prov 16:9 The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

The second issue is the fact that without the Lord, man makes all kinds of plans, usually based on his dreams and desires for self rather than for others.

2Ti 3:1-2a But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant.

In 2Ti 3:4, the carnal or immature believers become lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

In 2Ti 3:5, they have a system of religion or godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these.

In 2Ti 3:7, they are always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of “the truth.”

In 2Ti 3:8, the reason is that these types of individuals oppose “the truth” which means they have a depraved mind and they still rejected the faith or the doctrine.

2Ti 3:12 And indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

Hamartiology = The Doctrine of original sin or inherent sin — we all were born in sin totally depraved under the principle that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the Lord; Rom 3:23; Psa 51:5;58:3.

The first passage, Rom 3:23 states “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.

Psa 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.

Jer 29:11 ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

1. “you who forsake the Lord” refers to those believers who had negative volition toward doctrine resulting in backsliding.

2. “who forget My holy mountain” refers to our Lord’s place of worship.

3. “who set a table for Fortune” = made plans for making money or promoting self by using God as the means).

4. “who fill {cups} with mixed wine for Destiny” refers to the influence of unnatural stimulants to fulfill their destiny rather than the Holy Spirit.

And all of you shall bow down to the slaughter [humiliated by their arrogance].

Because I called [through His Word], but you did not answer [NVTD=negative volition towards doctrine];

I spoke [doctrine], but you did not hear [NVTD]. And you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

“Because I called but you did not answer” = if we do not answer when He calls, we may be in danger of divine discipline depending on the circumstances.

“Because I called, but you did not answer” also refers to NVTD at the point of perception.

“I spoke but you did not hear or listen” meaning that they had negative volition toward doctrine at the point of metabolization, either no concentration or reject what is being taught.

“And you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight” referring of course to the principle of application.

The “God of Truth” reveals His forgiveness to His people because the former troubles are forgotten and hidden from God’s sight as Heb 8:12; 10:17.

Isa 65:17 For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind. [corrected translation] = The promise of God wiping away all the bad memories that we have or had.

1. Luk 23:34: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

2. Luk 23:43: “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

3. John 19:26-27: “Woman, behold your son. Son, behold your mother.”

4. Matt 27:46 “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”

5. John 19:28 “I thirst.”

6. John 19:30: It is finished. (From the Greek “Tetelestai” which is also translated “It is accomplished”, or “It is complete.”)

Psa 31:5 is a verse that comes from the “God of Truth” who quoted only the first half of Psa 31:5, but He did not quote the last half of the verse.

The first half of the verse, Psa 31:5 Into Thy hand I commit my spirit; = The last words of our Lord upon the cross before He died physically.

“Thou hast ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth,” David wrote unto our Lord and our Lord chose to use WHAT David said.

Think about the privilege of our Lord using something that you said before, or something that you have written before, He uses as a part of His Word.

What a privilege David had that the Lord would use what David said upon The His cross.

“into Thy hand I commit my spirit;” = when He was on the cross but He omitted the last half of the verse which states “Thou hast ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.”

Luk 23:46, Dr. Luke writes down the words of our Lord while He was on the cross when he writes that our Lord said “Father, into thy hands I commit My spirit.”

Our Lord quoted part of Psa 31:5 on the cross when He said;

Psa 31:5 Into Thy hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.

Our Lord only quoted the first part of the verse which says, “into Thy hand I commit My spirit, but He did not have to say the last half, “Thou hast ransomed me,” because He did not have to be ransomed or redeemed.

1. Our Lord is called the “True Vine” because the word True refers to His character and nature or His divine essence and that is why He is called the God of Truth; Deut 32:4.

2. Vine = refers to our Lord’s human nature where we draw spiritual life from learning how our Lord, in His humanity, fulfilled the plan of God.

After knowing that the ministry of God the Holy Spirit helped us on the day of our salvation, we are told by the apostle Paul; Col 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.

Gal 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

Heb 9:14 – through the eternal Spirit, the Lord offered Himself without blemish to God, and we can do the same.

3. The “True Vine” also refers to His Deity and it is derived from the first part of verse 1, when as He said; John 15:1 “I Am” the true vine.

4. The “True Vine” relates to the Hypostatic Union; John 14:6 “Jesus said, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life;’

5. “My Father is the vinedresser” = the logistical grace support that comes to the branches or believers from God the Father.

He provides everything that we need pertaining to this life and everything that we need pertaining to living the spiritual life; Mat t6:33; 2Pe 1:2-4.

The word knowledge is called “true knowledge” because gnosis is not used but epignosis is used which refers to wisdom or metabolized doctrine.

The Apostle Peter has grown immensely because of his humility and his submission to the apostle Paul, which was so obvious that Peter even said that the Apostle Paul was a spiritual genius in 2Pe 3:15-16.

1. Being “in Christ, as New creatures which is found in the first part of the verse which says “Every branch in Me” which is a reference to Baptism of the Spirit not WATER!

2. John 15:2b, our Lord goes on to say; “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away, which refers to the Doctrine of Divine Discipline; Heb 12:6-15.

3. John 15:2c, where it says; “and every branch that bears fruit” referring to the fruit of the Spirit manifested by the believer who abides in Christ.

4. John 15:2d, “and every {branch} that bears fruit. He prunes it [suffering for blessing], that it may bear more fruit [the doctrine of divine good].

Here is where suffering for blessing really becomes a blessing for every believer as it results in the production of divine good.

This is also when the “wall of fire” is placed around us by the invisible allies that we all have in the angelic realm along with our very own guardian angel; Heb 1:14.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?”

Divine good also results from being attacked by evil but God turns the evil into good; Gen 50:20 “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”

We also have seen and heard Moses give direct command from headquarters in Heaven when he said to the people in Exo 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.”

Added to that, the Elect Angels and the Old Testament believers revealed that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper; 1sa 54:17.

2Co 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but {only} for the truth.

No matter how much we try or someone else tries, we are told that “We can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.”

Mark 9:40 “For he who is not against us is for us.

Matt 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Our Lord warned His disciples in Mark 9:40 “He who is not against us is for us.

For on the one hand, Mark 9:40 “He who is not against us is for us.

Then on the other hand, He also said in Matt 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Mark 9:40 “For he who is not against us is for us.

Matt 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me;”

Matt 12:30 He who does not gather with Me scatters.

All three of these principles can apply, first of all, to believers who are not against us but for us.

Phil 2:1 Since therefore there is encouragement in Christ, since there is comfort from virtue-love, since there is fellowship of the Spirit, since there is tendernesses and compassions,

Phil 2:2 Bring to completion my inner happiness [in your life] by thinking the same things, maintaining the same virtue-love, united in soul, concentrating on the same objective.

Phil 2:3 Do nothing motivated by contentiousness or ambitious pride, but with humility of mind [by means of grace orientation] let each of you keep on considering one another as more important than himself;

Phil 2:4 do not merely be regarding your own personal interests, but also for the personal interests of others.

Phil 2:5 “Keep on thinking this [doctrine] within yourselves which was also resident in Christ Jesus,”
