Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your unconfessed sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess (simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life>), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

There is only one way to be saved; JOH 14:6 the Lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.

1. The Lord is called the “True Vine” because the word True refers to His character and nature or His divine essence and that is why He is called the God of Truth; Deut 32:4.

The apostle Paul is the one who reveals to us some of the greatest passages on Truth even though he spent a lot of time living in the lies of the Cosmic System; which was Cosmic 2, being religious.

The apostle Paul begins with one of the most important truths for all of us concerning our need to be saved — after that, our response to the doctrine of salvation which leads us to living the spiritual life that the Lord set before us.

It all began with death but that was just the beginning.

The course of this world is the thinking skills that elevate the creature over the Creator.

Exo 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.

The course of this world is something which we formerly walked in.

This was said to be according to the prince of the power of the air, which is reference to Satan controlling the atmosphere of the spirit world and the cosmic system, especially with the sons of disobedience.

Please note that we were dead, we were not just wounded but we were killed when our Lord died for us He also died in place of us, so when He died, we died.

All those passages we just read refer to the Truth of Salvation and the only way to be saved which is faith alone in Christ alone – which was the means of salvation in every dispensation.

Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

That is the only way to be saved; John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, {and} one mediator also between God and men, {the} man Christ Jesus,

The next decision is a simple one to perceive and understand but it is also a difficult one to apply unless you take advantage of your invisible assets and use the power of God.

Be careful what you say because the answer that you give will determine whether you will be classified as a winner believer or a loser believer.

One of the frustrations of trying to communicate the word of God to a congregation is that there always seems to be someone or something that tries to discourage others from going forward.

Beware of those who discourage you or they make you weary because they are being sent by the god of this world to distract you and to cause you to get weary.

One of the signs of the last days is when Satan and the kingdom of darkness tries to wear down the saints of God; Dan 7:25.

Dan 7:25 ‘And he will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One.

Matt 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavyladen, and I will give you rest.

The apostle Paul also gives us the motivation that we need so that we do not become weary or lazy or slothful.

Prov 19:15 “Laziness casts into a deep sleep, and an idle man will suffer hunger.”

David should have been on the battlefield with His men, the Israeli military, but instead of fighting with his men side by side He stayed home instead.

Gen 2:18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

Gal 6:9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

Heb 12:3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

Why would anyone discourage other believers from fulfilling the plan of God for their lives.

Why are some people so bitter and angry that they literally will attack another believer and then justify the attack by saying God told me to do it.

They think they’re offering service to God by attacking us.

There’s no absolute dogmatic correct answer, whether one says yes or whether one says no, we should all have the same right and the same privacy to make up our own minds.

1. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?

There has to be a set of rules which we have to follow so that when we need to make certain decisions, we can make them according to the Rules or the Word of God.

2. Do you believe that our Lord always taught the truth?

Not only did our Lord teach the truth but He also lived in that truth and taught His followers how to rebound and recover not personally for Himself because He did not need to rebound but for all His people.

3. Do you believe the words of our Lord when He said “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”

4. Do you believe the words of the apostle Paul when he said that the Lord told him that he was persecuting and attacking the Lord because whatever he did to the Lord’s people, he did unto the Lord.

John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”

No one can touch another believer without touching the Lord?

1. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?

2. Do you believe that our Lord always taught the truth?

3. Do you believe the words of our Lord said — “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”

4. Do you believe the words of the apostle Paul when he said that the Lord told him that he was persecuting and attacking the Lord because whatever he did to the Lord’s people, he did unto the Lord.

This was the Apostle Paul using the right bait to catch fishers of man as in Matt 4:19 “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Being a spiritual fisherman and using the correct bait also allows us to live like our Lord said, in Matt 10:16 be shrewd as serpents, and meek as doves.

Matt 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore, be shrewd as serpents, and innocent as doves.”

1Ti 6:5 and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness [eusebeia] is a means of gain.

The apostle Paul was very much interested in all those he spoke to because his heart was like our Lord’s which was to save mankind and then teach them how to live in the spiritual life.

Does it say, “be humble and let others win the prize?”

Or, “be humble, let others run all over you?”

Does it say whoever slaps you on your right cheek, give them the other cheek also.

If anyone wants to sue you, and take your shirt, let them win and take advantage over you.

In Ecc 3:1 There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven

There’s a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.

A time to kill, and a time to heal;

A time to tear down, and a time to build up.

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.

A time to search, and a time to give up as lost;

A time to keep, and a time to throw away.

A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together;

A time to be silent, and a time to speak.

A time to love, and a time to hate;

A time for war, and a time for peace.

There is a time for everything that we face.

I run in such a way,

I’m not without aim;

I box in such a way,

not beating the air;”

The word disqualified (adokimos) means to fail a test, to not be approved; to be tested and fail.

Prin: If we are not living the spiritual life, then there is really no reason for us to remain on this earth unless God has plans for us, which He does, says Eph 2:10
