Hymn #2
Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.
1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.
Sermon: God the Father plans, God the Son executes the plan and God the Holy Spirit reveals the plan.
The special areas of our Lord’s ministry that He has already fulfilled in the past, as well as the coming of “special events” that He will fulfill in the future under the “Divine Timing” of the Lord.
“Yesterday is History”
“Tomorrow is a Mystery
“Today is a gift of God”
= That is why we call it a PRESENT”
We all must know and understand what took place in “Eternity Past” and that which the entire Trinity was involved in both the “Angelic Conflict” or “Human History.”
His love for you will be according to His word which will be a blessing and accomplish whatever it is that our Lord desires.
The plan of “God the Father” was given to “God the Son” for the purpose of executing that plan = the responsibility of God the Holy Spirit who teaches us and reveals to us.
Father – plans
The Son – executes
Holy Spirit – reveals
Rom 11:32 For God has shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all.”
God condemned all mankind, Jews and Gentiles, so that He could save all mankind which is a reference to the unlimited atonement.
All three members of the Trinity desire one major doctrinal conclusion; 1Ti 2:3-6 .
This refers to God’s attitude toward the unbeliever where God desires all men to be saved and to come to the epignosis knowledge of the truth = Gospel information.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
1Ti 4:10 For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.
Paul uses the Greek Adverb malista which means to use that which is mentioned in a greater degree.
The greater degree refers to the living God, who is the Savior of all men, (especially–of believers.
The apostle Paul used this Greek Adverb to emphasize that there is a difference between “all men” and the phrase especially of believers.
The apostle Paul thought that God the Holy Spirit was finished with this Epistle, and that He was going to close this Epistle.
“Divine Inspiration” = God the Holy Spirit supernaturally directs the writers of Scripture to do so as a reflection of the love we have for Him and He for us.
God the Holy Spirit also inspires those whom He chose to follow our Lord, and He does so without waving their human intelligence, individuality, personal feelings or any other human factor.
God’s message to man was recorded in perfect accuracy in the original languages of Scripture so that the “Plan of God the Father” was to promote our Lord and His Word.
I believe Paul thought that the Holy Spirit was finished with the book of Romans but He was not finished, just yet.
The apostle Paul was so completely in awe at the first eleven chapters that when God the Holy Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to keep going with the book of Romans.
For from Him
Through Him
To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Once the apostle Paul wrote the passage, he also lived in the passage.
James 1:21 Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted [or metabolized], which is able to save or deliver your souls.
“in humility” = receive the word implanted [or metabolized ], which is able to save or deliver your souls.
James 1:22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.
These principles apply to any believer who desires to “hear the Truth” or “know the truth” or “speak the truth.”
One of the “First Epistles” to be written in the early Church-age — James 1:1 James, a bond servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad.
There were also quite a few James’ mentioned in the New Testament and this has caused some confusion among the believers of the Bible.
Our Lord Jesus had several brothers, one of whom was named James.
Two of our Lord’s original 12 were known as the Apostles named James.
One was James, the brother of John, the other was James, the Son of Alphaeus.
In Gal 1:19, Paul spoke of another James, this time it was a family affair that Apostles had to deal with, whom He stated was the Lord’s brother.
Gal 1:13 “For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure, and tried to destroy it;”
He did not receive this doctrinal opinion through the “traditions of man” or “the religion of man” and he was not taught it in some secular school, Paul’s teacher = God the Holy Spirit.
“I am sure that you’ve heard the story of my earlier life when I lived in the Jewish way of life rather than living in the Divine Way of life.”
Paul literally said that he was systematically destroying it.
Paul was so enthusiastic about the traditions of his ancestors that he advanced head and shoulders above his peers in his career.
“When I was still in my mother’s womb, He chose and called me out of His grace and mercy with sheer generosity!”
God has intervened and revealed His Son to Paul so that he might joyfully tell non Jews about Him.
The James of the Bible, also wrote the book of James and He was also our Lord’s half-brother.
Even then, God had a fantastic calling upon the apostle Paul and His plans for him.
JER 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Psa 71:5-6, For Thou art my hope; O Lord God, {Thou art} my confidence from my youth.
By Thee I have been sustained from {my} birth; Thou art He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of Thee.
Isa 49:1 Listen to Me, O islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.
Even during the dispensation of the HU, our Lord said the night before His death that He chose us — we did not choose Him; John 15:16.
The importance of Bible Doctrine being metabolized as well as you and I, growing up together in the Lord as we abide or rest in the Lord; John 15:7.
This passage gets right to the point of our fellowship with the Lord increasing by means of our abiding with Him through the consistent intake of doctrine.
It is a dogmatic statement of “Divine Blessings” that by means of doctrine resident in our soul, we can bring glory to “the God of all grace” or “the God of all mercy.”
This is a part of the calling of God upon your life, especially the things which can hinder our soul from going forward in the predesigned plan of God.
John 15:9 “By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and {so} prove to be My disciples.
Main Issue = doctrine residing in the soul of all believers is really a picture of the important awesome God who is awaiting you or anyone else at all.
It was the apostle Paul who tells us that He did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
Matt 13:58 He did not do many miracles in His home town because of their unbelief and their lack of faith and trust.
(1) Behold, He is coming with the clouds,
(2) and every eye will see Him,
(3) even those who pierced Him;
(4) and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him.
God the Father is the one who makes the decisions that tell our Lord, our bridegroom, when to go and get His bride.
John 3:29 we read, “He who has the bride [the future Church] is the bridegroom [that is our Lord]; but the friend of the bridegroom [the O.T. saints],
who stands and hears him [that is what the Old Testament believers do, they stand and hear our Lord teaching doctrine] and we are told that they [the Old Testament saints
rejoice greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice [the Lord teaching the Word of God] And so this joy of mine has been made full.
There are a few doctrinal principles that we should know and realize has to do with what the historical trends will be like just before our Lord comes back to pick up His bride-the Church.
In Mark 13:28, this all begins by paying attention to the historical trends or the times in which we are living in.
The fig tree represents the restoration of the nation of Israel.
God is ready and believers must be alert concerning the times in which we live.
These two men were actually two angels who also appeared in “Whites” and they were those angels who glorified our Lord and Savior in eternity past.
In Act 1:11, Dr. Luke writes And they [“they” refers to angelic beings]
They were looking at the clouds while the clouds were transporting our Lord and Savior to the finest place of all = the Third Heaven.
It represents the fact that angels have a free will just like human’s do.
This also means that He left in the clouds of the air and He will come back in the clouds of the air.
Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
1. We began with a period of time before the creation of the world and the creation of the Angels; Prov 8:1-36.
Rev 12:4 “And his tail [that is the dragon swept away a third of the stars (angels) of heaven, and threw them to the earth.”
Every angel had made a choice to either follow our Lord or reject our Lord and follow Satan and the Kingdom of darkness.
This is why the Angels are divided into two categories, either the Elect Angels or the fallen angels and this is also why the human race is divided into two categories; Believers or unbelievers.
What is it that the angelic race has in common with the human race?
Both the angels and the human race, whether fallen angels or elect angels or believers and unbelievers, the one major doctrinal issue and the similarity is Volition or the free will to choose.
2. We noted some of the functions and responsibility of the angels in eternity past before their rebellion when Satan convinced one third of God’s angels to rebel against our Lord, and they did so.
Eventually, every angel had made a choice to either follow our Lord or reject our Lord or and follow Satan and the Kingdom of darkness.
This is why the Angels are divided into two categories, either the Elect Angels or the fallen angels and this is why the human race is divided into two categories; Believers or unbelievers.
As far as the angelic conflict is concerned, angels exist in two categories: the elect and the unsaved angels.
The angels which followed Satan, all one-third of had the opportunity to reverse their decision, and over a period of possibly a million years they refused to honor and worship of our Lord.
Before, before the creation of the human race, we actually had a court being held between the fallen angels and the chosen angels.
However, the trial was fair in every sense of the word.
God is omniscient which means that He knows all the facts.
He is omnipresent — He was always an observer;
He is also omnipotent (All Powerful), He has the power to execute justice.
God is immutable and God is incorruptible as a Judge; and He is truth (veracity).
Satan was a liar from the beginning (John 8:44), and those angels who went against God and followed Satan followed a lie.
At the end of the trial, Satan and all the fallen angels were sentenced to the lake of fire (Matt 25:41).
Matt 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;”
This passage is actually in the pre-period of history, the period of angelic creation only, when a sentence was passed, but not executed.
All during human history, the sentence is suspended. After the end of man’s history (the end of the Millennium with the destruction of the world and the universe), the sentence will be carried out.
This information gives us the reason why there was a division in eternity past in the angelic Conflict.
If the sentence is pronounced before man was created but not carried out until after man’s history is concluded, then man had to have something to do and he was created by God to resolve something that happened at the end of that trial.
The words “diabolos” and “Shatan” both tell us what happened because “Satan’’ and “Devil” are not names for the super angel but they are His titles.
His name is Lucifer, Son of the Morning (Isa 14:12-14).
“Satan” and “Devil” means “adversary,” “accuser” or “attorney’’ — someone who goes to court and appeals.
Whatever it was, we do know that Satan and all the other angels had to choose the plan that God designed but Satan appealed the case.
By putting together certain evidences which occur throughout Scripture, we can begin to see why man was created; Rev 4:11; Isa 43:7,21.
It is true that man was also created for the glory of God; but that doesn’t explain many other questions, such as, Why sin? Why suffering? Why free will? Why establishment?
Satan, along with millions and millions of fallen angels, knows that man was created for the glory of God.
