Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Sermon

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: There’s a tremendous difference between having
gnosis (knowledge) and epignosis knowledge (wisdom).

“You and I are being plunged into a period of time about which the Bible says more about than it does about any other period of time including the Gospel Period.”

If we focus in on the times we are living in that all you and I have to do is to present our need to the Lord and then focus in on the plan of God.

“The Final Divine First-born Son” — our Lord and Savior has as your Guidance or Teacher so that your life is left for you to live in Sheol (O.T.) – Heaven (N.T.)

We have been called to live on the times in which God provides for us well as preparing to live the spiritual life that the Lord has also been challenging us to live in.

Important Doctrines = God uses concerning the plan of God is “The Doctrine of Vindication” which helps us and vindicates us as a part of the Unique message.

“The Doctrine of Vindication” — “The Doctrine of Children” which, in reality, most of the Proverbs is translated “The Doctrine of the Elite Believer.”

The “Elite Believer” can do almost anything that the evil believer works hard at doing and also, we have been studying the fact that a believer can do “Whatever” God’s Word cherishes.

Repetition = safe and secure as Paul anticipated that it would be safe and secure to repeat certain doctrinal principles that God the Holy Spirit wants us to repeat.

Phil 3:1 Finally, my brethren, keep on having inner happiness in the Lord. On the one hand, to be writing the same doctrines to you is not troublesome to me, while on the other hand, it is a safeguard or a basis of security for you.

Message = Phil 3:1 And that’s about it, friends. Be glad in God! I don’t mind repeating what I have written in earlier letters, and I hope you don’t mind hearing it again. Better safe than sorry so here goes.

Because you have to see and study what the Bible has to say in regard to the Divine Timing of God and observing what our Lord says about time!

Before we go on with the difference between gnosis (knowledge) or epignosis (wisdom) — we need to be sure of the fact that we are ready and prepared.

You should understand that there’s a tremendous difference between having gnosis (knowledge) and epignosis knowledge (wisdom).

1. The will of God for mankind is two fold.
For the unbeliever: Salvation.
For the believer: Metabolized doctrine.

1Ti 2:3, This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the epignosis knowledge of the truth.

Tit 1:1 that he was Paul, a bond servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the faith of those chosen of God and the [epignosis] knowledge of the truth which is according to living the spiritual life,

Eph 4:13 — until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the epignosis knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ.

2. The cosmic believer fails to metabolize doctrine, 2Ti 3:2 7.

They end up under divine discipline and will eventually die the sin unto death says the word of God in Eph 6:2-3.

The reason why the carnal believer does not metabolize doctrine is simply because the power of the Holy Spirit does not function in the cosmic system.

They are always learning academic subjects and doctrine, but it is all gnosis and only academic. They are never able to come to epignosis doctrine.

3. Only metabolized doctrine can be useful for problem solving, Eph 1:17.

Eph 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the epignosis knowledge of Him.

This is God the Holy Spirit taking epignosis doctrine and giving you the ability to handle your problems.

Whether in adversity or prosperity, you must solve your problems from the base of inner happiness from epignosis doctrine.

4. Philem 6 teaches that all genuine fellowship with believers is based on metabolized doctrine and virtue.

Phm 1:6 {and I pray} that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the epignosis knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ’s sake.

5. Only metabolized doctrine can fulfill the mandate of virtue first in the PPOG, Phil 1:9.

Phil 1:9 In fact, I pray this, that your virtue-love may excel to the maximum still more and more by means of epignosis knowledge metabolized doctrine resulting in all spiritual discernment,

2Pe 1:8 for if these {qualities} are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge epignosis knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

6. Consequently, only metabolized doctrine can fulfill the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], Col 1:9-10.

7. Only metabolized doctrine can provide blessing under the PPOG.

If you have only gnosis doctrine, there is no basis for blessing; (2Pe 1:3-4.)

2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you by means of the epignosis knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;

2Pe 1:3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the epignosis knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

2Pe 3:17 you therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest, being carried away by the error of unprincipled men, you fall from your own steadfastness,

2Pe 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him {be} the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

8. You can have a zeal to know God but if you do not have metabolized doctrine it is useless.

Rom 10:2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.

9. True wealth and prosperity comes from epignosis doctrine, Col 2:2.

10. The new man can only be renewed and energized through metabolized doctrine.

He said to Peter who was sincere but sincerely wrong in his assessment of the spiritual life.

Matt 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

Psa 119:63 I am a companion of all those who respect Thee, and of those who keep Your doctrines.

Psa 101:6, My eyes shall be upon the “faithful” of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in integrity is the one who will minister to me.

Psa 101:7, on the other hand, he who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.

And in 2Sa 1:26, we are told what, David says concerning Jonathan, You have been very pleasant to me. Your love to me was more wonderful than the love of women.

1Sa 20:23 “As for the agreement of which you and I have spoken, behold, the Lord is between you and me forever.”
