If RefTagger pop-ups don’t work on your computer, that’s OK, try right clicking the link then open in new tab or window; or if that doesn’t work, you can always use your Bible to look up the verses. Word or Phrase definition links may not have a website that opens.

Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

STUDY TITLE:

The Doctrine of the Pivot. Part 1

Rom 9:29 says, And just as Isaiah foretold, “Except the Lord of Sabaoth [not the Sabbath but the Lord of the armies or literally the Lord of the military or of the Christian soldiers] had left to us a posterity,

Posterity is the Greek noun sperma which refers to those believers who live in the nature of God or the sperma of God referring to His seed. Therefore, a reference to those believers who live as new creatures who have been born again and therefore those who are a part of the pivot. Remember the following passages in relationship to the sperma or the seed of God.

1Pe 1:23, for you have been born again not of seed [sperma] which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God.

This is the seed that allows us to live in what Peter called the divine nature of God.

2Pe 1:4, For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature,

The same seed that the pivotal believer lives in as 1Jo 3:9, No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed [God’s sperma] abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Rom 9:29, And just as Isaiah foretold or predicted, “Except the Lord of Sabaoth [armies, Christian soldiers, the spiritual military] had left to us a posterity [a pivot], We would have become as Sodom, and would have resembled Gomorrah.”

The purpose of this analogy with Sodom and Gomorrah is to reveal the importance of the fact that in every generation, the Lord always provides doctrinal teachers with doctrinal believers who become a part of the pivot that stops Satan from taking complete control of the earth. If not, we would all become like Sodom and Gomorrah, not necessarily like their lifestyle but like their destruction. Therefore, we have begun a very important doctrine for us to understand which is;

The Doctrine of the Pivot.

14. The pivot is defined as the accumulation of mature or spiritually adult believers living in a client nation in a specific geographical location, Matt 5:13-14.

15. While a pivot is composed primarily of mature believers, it also includes those new positive believers whose momentum has carried them into any legitimate stage of spiritual adulthood. They are identified in passages like 1Pe 2:2, as newborn babes, they long and desire for the pure milk of the word, so that by it they may grow in respect to their salvation. There is nothing wrong for the newborn seeds of God to desire the milk of the Word…they should. It’s when they try to eat of the meat of the Word without having the basic doctrines of the milk of the word first that gets them in trouble. A little knowledge with arrogance puffs them up says 1Co 8:1. As the writer of the book of Hebrews says Heb 5:12c they have come to need milk and not solid food. Why? Because in Heb 5:14, Solid food is for the mature, who because of practice, practice, practice, have their senses trained to discern between divine good and that good which is evil.

16. A third principle under the definition is that technically, the pivot also includes believers who have fulfilled the principle of “virtue first” as their first priority in the plan of God. Not works or their own righteousness but virtue first! The command for the Christian way of life is virtue first. Not witnessing! Not serving! Not praying! Not doing great things for God…but virtue first.

A) . At the time that the apostle Paul wrote this to the Romans, virtue always meant devotion and loyalty to your family.

Some believers have no loyalty at all except loyalty to themselves. None whatsoever – they are loyal to themselves – i.e. Arrogance. They are pre-occupied with themselves- i.e., subjectivity. They have no loyalty in life and so virtue always meant that you had developed loyalties in life. The Romans also knew that no one could be virtuous unless they accepted authority (beginning with the authority of their parents). Virtue begins with a willing acceptance of parental authority which gives unity and strength to the family and it resulted in the Romans conquering the world.

B. Virtue also meant reverence and devotion to the authorities over the Romans at that time. This included respect and loyalty toward God which was revealed by exact performance of all that God required. Or a right thing being done in a right way. It also meant respect for the laws of establishment and the Roman government.

C. The third meaning of virtue to the Romans meant justice or faith – to them faith meant to be true to one’s word. In the Roman business world, a man’s word was his bond and they didn’t need signed contracts. By virtue, they meant what we would call faithfulness or the ability to fulfill one’s obligations and keeping one’s word.

D. The fourth meaning of virtue meant virtue through absolute self-control.

E. And then the fifth meaning was consistency or perseverance. It seems like the only thing that is really consistent in this world today is inconsistency.

14) A fourth principle under definition is that when it comes to the pivot, the pivot is made up of believers who have virtue which is the visible manifestation of the invisible, i.e., metabolized doctrine and the power of the Holy Spirit controlling the soul. Humility is the foundation for all virtue.

15. For the pivotal believer, virtue is the quality of intrinsic good; it is not proving one’s worth or who you really are-inwardly-meaning you are not a phony, which so many are – and why they hate the truth that exposes them, Gal 4:16. The believer who is trying to prove something cannot improve spiritually. Proving one’s worth is arrogance; improving one’s worth spiritually is wisdom. Arrogance is the antithesis of and is antagonist to virtue. Believers who reside and function in the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] produce virtue, while believers who reside and function in the cosmic system destroy virtue and produce pseudo virtue. And it is virtue manufactured inside the PPOG that is the source of all true happiness in life. Therefore, virtue and happiness coexist. There is no happiness in the cosmic system. Pseudo virtue manufactured in the cosmic system is the basis of all hypocrisy in life.

In the dispensation of the church, the Christian service that is most important is done where people cannot see it. Believers in the pivot stand out in contrast to believers living in the cosmic system, whose arrogance from motivational arrogance results in self-righteous, crusader arrogance. These believers are apostate, recognized by their own clichés’, their hypocritical sweet personalities, their self-righteousness, their crusader arrogance, their distortion of doctrine and disorientation to reality, and they are potential revolutionists. In fact, a certain number of these type of believers are even mentally ill from arrogance. In fact, you can also recognize the shrinking of the pivot by the social action and civil disobedience advocated and practiced by believers. Therefore, the true Christian influence in the national entity is spiritual.

The believer’s civil responsibility is defined under the laws of divine establishment, as in Rom 13:1 Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

Rom 13:2-10, Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil. Wherefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Christianity must never be the state, though religion always tries to be the state, (e.g., Arab countries like Iran and Syria). Both countries who are anti-Semitic and fallen apart and then of course blaming Israel and the great Satan, the USA. When, as Isaiah predicted, and the Bible predicted two thousand years ago about the fact that there would be an Arab-Israeli conflict until the Lord comes back.

Gal 4:22-27, For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman [Hagar-Ishmael = father of the Arab race] and one by the free woman [Sarah-Isaac-father of the Jewish race]. But the son [a reference to Ishmael] by the bondwoman [Hagar-Sarah’s slave] Ishmael was born according to the flesh, [Abraham and Sarah tried to fulfill the promise of God on their own] and the son [Isaac] by the free woman [a reference to Sarah] came through the promise. This is allegorically speaking: for these women are two covenants, one proceeding from Mount Sinai [referring to the bondage of the Law] bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar. Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. For it is written, “Rejoice, barren woman a reference to Sarah who thought she was beyond menopause didn’t think it was possible to have a child.

Gal 4:29, But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh [Ishmael] persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit [Isaac], so it is now also.

The battle between Ishmael and Isaac still goes on today in the analogy between the Arabs and the Jews. And so today as a client nation to God and especially as a part of the pivot the influence of Christianity is not produced by influencing with Christian principles, but by growing in grace and establishing a pivot that has invisible historical impact. And this does not mean we are to force Christian principles upon the citizens of our nation. God forbid that we ever become like France when John Calvin literally has some French citizens beaten and even put to death because of rejecting the Bible.

On October 27, 1553 John Calvin, the founder of Calvinism, had Michael Servetus, the Spanish physician, burned at the stake just outside of Geneva for his doctrinal beliefs! Obviously, he had a prolonged, murderous hate in his heart and was willing to violate Scripture to put another to death and in a cruel way. Servetus was convicted of heresy by the Roman Catholic church but he escaped the death penalty by a prison break. And then heading for Italy, Servetus was stopped at Geneva, where he had been denounced by Calvin and the other religious Reformers. He was seized the day after his arrival, condemned as a heretic when he refused to repent, he was burned in 1553 with the approval of John Calvin. Here we see the evil of what happens when the church and state intermingle.

John Calvin was spiritually blinded by this hate and therefore, spiritually hindered from rightly dividing the word of truth many times. Let me remind you and all of us of a few passages in scripture.

1Jo 3:15, Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

And if you want to be biblical, instead of saying someone is not saved, as if you are God, remember, if you hate another, hate your fellow believer you are a murderer. And as Rev 21:8 says, “But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Or look at 1Jo 2:10-11, The one who loves his brother abides in the light and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

1Jo 3:10-11, By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;

The apostle John goes on to write in 1Jo 4:7-8, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1Jo 4:11-12, Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

And so, if you claim to have love then you don’t go around with your hypocritical judgmental gross opinion of who is saved and who is not. My Bible says Rom 14:4, Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand. My Bible says Matt 7:1, “Do not judge lest you be judged.” My Bible says if I have God’s love, even toward the guilty, I am to operate in 1Pe 4:8, Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. And if you are so stupid, dumb, and ignorant and say, well the Bible says we have a right to judge, it never says that at all! It says you have a right to evaluate a situation but not judge the person. For when John 7:24 says, “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment [evaluation].”

It means to evaluate a situation not a person. And who the hell do you think you are to say who is saved and who is not? How more satanic can you be? The real issue with those who operate in this manner is found in

Rom 2:1, Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Blogge10-27-19 Adam’s original sin is the origin of the
old sin nature in the human race. Rom 5:12. 12-21-18

This is known as the “mind of Christ” or the “thinking of our Lord” which all of God’s people are to recognize and identify as their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; 1Co 2:16; Phil 2:5.

You need to know, if you haven’t already, but you need to know the Truth and the Way that our Lord would think concerning how to handle the truth whenever we are faced with it.

For it was in John’s Gospel that our Lord made some very interesting comments concerning His desire for those disciples who He loved dearly.

Why did our Lord say “for” this and who benefited from Him doing so?

Apostle Phillip — for the insight that He had within the ministry and for the humility that he needed continue to believe and to accept the things or the blessings that our Lord desires for all men to live in.

It may not be what you think you need, because many times it is exactly what you DO need to give you the proper motivation that is needed for the benefit of all those who desire to please our Lord and Savior.

He was having that difficulty of bringing in the mystery and teaching them the mystery doctrines of the Church-age which was needed to be learned and taught by the apostles and our Lord’s disciples.

Can you believe that what I was saying was said by those individuals who “may believe” or “may not believe” that they are to share with others that which they desire.

Our Lord was having a difficulty of teaching His apostles and His disciples about this new found principle of truth called the mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

There were a few things that our Lord wanted to teach His apostles and His disciples that He could have done if they would just stop bickering and let the Lord handle the situation.

S COH = “I am ready to let the Lord take care of this situation and I am also ready to do so because I desire to let the Lord handle the problem.

You are ready to do things according to the guidance and direction of God and you also need to realize that you cannot handle the guilt and the condemnation that comes from compromising your norms and standards.

You are going to try and solve your own problems by doing things on your own and that is when your personal problems now interfere with your spiritual life and then it’s time to do something for the Lord.

Those problems that you have also taken very seriously because of the effects that most of you have seen can occur when other believers fall apart under pressure.

Mystery doctrine can have upon us as believers and that is when we are being so graced-out with spiritual weapons that personal problems and stress and trials and heartaches can come no matter what.

You have some great passages to consider as a part of your weapons that will be needed from time to time: such as being destroyed and then condemned by your own free will decisions.

We have seen how one word; or one sentence, one goal; or one purpose, is always ready to function and prepared to handle anything that life brings their way.

Prov 18:21 “Death and Life” are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

You need to take care that one plan can change your mind about what you may think or may not think and that the Lord was doing whatever He can whenever He wants to.

Phil 2:1 Since therefore there is encouragement in Christ, since there is comfort from virtue-love, since there is fellowship of the Spirit, since there is tendernesses and compassions,

Phil 2:2 Bring to completion my inner happiness [in your life] by thinking the same things, maintaining the same virtue-love, united in soul, concentrating on the same objective.

Phil 2:3 Do nothing motivated by contentiousness or ambitious pride, but with humility of mind [by means of grace orientation] let each of you keep on considering one another as more important than himself;

Phil 2:4 do not merely be regarding your own personal interests, but also for the personal interests of others.

Phil 2:5 “Keep on thinking this [doctrine] within yourselves which was also resident in Christ Jesus,”

Phil 2:6 who, although He preexisted in the essence of God, did not think equality with God a gain to be seized,

Phil 2:7 “but He deprived Himself of the proper function of deity when He had received the form of a servant and was born in the likeness of men.”

Phil 2:8 In fact, although having being discovered in outward appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of spiritual death, that is the death of the cross.

Phil 2:9 Therefore also the God has highly exalted Him to the maximum, and bestowed on Him the name or rank which is above every name,

Phil 2:10 in order that at the title of Jesus every knee of the heavens should bow, and on earth, and under the earth,

Phil 2:11 and that every tongue should acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, resulting in the glory of God the Father.

Phil 2:12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, be accomplishing your own preservation with respect toward Christ and reverence toward doctrine;

Phi 2:13 for it is God [the Holy Spirit] who is at work in you, both to will [give you motivation] and to work [He gives you the ability to execute] above and beyond His good pleasure.
Doctrine of the Virgin Birth.

Point 1. The Necessity of our Lord’s Virgin Birth.

Adam’s original sin is the origin of the old sin nature in the human race, Rom 5:12.

Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned [and in parenthesis all sinned when Adam sinned]—

Theological Principles — noted by the fact that it is Adam’s original sin that is the antecedence or the home for the old nature, not the woman’s original sin, since Adam’s sin was deliberate; the woman was deceived.

It is Adam’s original sin that is the antecedence for the old nature, not the woman’s original sin, since Adam’s sin was deliberate; the woman was deceived.

There are those who claim that there is a relationship between what Adam did when he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and what our Lord did when He died a spiritual death even though He knew what to expect.

The old sin nature is transmitted through the twenty-three male chromosomes which fertilize the female ovum in copulation.

This imputation of Adam’s original sin to the old sin nature is a reproduction of Adam at the point of his fall in the Garden.

1. Adam’s original sin.

b. Old sin nature.

All the cells in your body are contaminated by the old sin nature.

When God the Father imputes Adam’s original sin to the old sin nature, spiritual death results.

Through meiosis and polar body, twenty-three chromosomes are thrown off the female ovum, leaving twenty-three uncontaminated chromosomes in the female ovum prior to fertilization.

Meiosis = the process of cell division in sexually reproducing organisms and polar body is when a small cell is produced and ultimately discarded in the development of the female ovum.

All the other cells in the female body are contaminated by the old sin nature; the ovum prior to fertilization is the only exception.

Although both the man and the woman in the Garden were equally guilty, the woman’s sin of ignorance was the reason she became the bearer of the embryo, 1Ti 2:13-15.

While both man and woman are carriers of the old sin nature, only the man can transmit the old sin nature through the fertilization of the female ovum.

Since it is only the male’s 23 chromosomes that carry the OSN and not the female’s, this means that if a woman could have a virgin pregnancy, i.e., if her ovum could be fertilized apart from male copulation, the progeny could be born into the world without an old sin nature.

This was the case in the birth of the humanity of Christ, originating from Mary’s virgin pregnancy and virgin birth.

Being born without an old sin nature meant there was no imputation of Adam’s original sin to our Lord. This was how our Lord was born as the last Adam.

The first Adam was created perfect; the last Adam, Jesus Christ, was born perfect.

Jesus Christ was the emulation of Adam before the fall.

Mary, with an old sin nature, was still a virgin when she became pregnant for the first time with our Lord.

In Matt 13:55 and Mark 6:3, Mary’s other children are mentioned, so we know she eventually copulated with Joseph.

There is no such thing as the perpetual virginity of Mary.

Mark 6:3 “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?”

The so-called Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, was proclaimed by Pope Pius IX in the year 1854.

The assumption of the Virgin Mary (bodily ascension into heaven shortly after her death), proclaimed by pope Pius XII 1950.

Mary was also proclaimed Mother of the Church, by pope Paul VI 1965.

Rev 22:18 “I testify to everyone who hears the words of this book: if anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book;”

Prov 30:6 Do not add to His words Lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.

Mary’s virgin pregnancy was caused by God the Holy Spirit fertilizing the female ovum.

He provided twenty-three perfect chromosomes to fertilize her twenty-three perfect chromosomes which were uncontaminated by the old sin nature.

In this way, Mary had a virgin pregnancy from the origin of our Lord’s humanity into the world.

The virgin pregnancy resulted in the virgin birth, thus excluding the old sin nature from the humanity of Christ. While Mary was a virgin, she was not perfect or impeccable.

Mary received at birth the imputation of human life to her soul and the imputation of Adam’s original sin to her old sin nature; so, she was not perfect.

God the Father imputed human life to his human soul, but divine justice could not impute AOS since there was no target, no home, no antecedence, no affinity, there being no genetically formed old sin nature in Him.

No old sin nature means no imputation of Adam’s original sin.
For a real imputation cannot occur without a target, affinity, or antecedence.

It is the virgin birth that is the basis for redemption, because it provided the world with a perfect human being, the only One qualified to be judged for the sins of the world.

Point 2. The Contrast Between Our Birth and Our Lord’s Birth.

Human life is, in each case, created by God and imputed to each person at birth.

This really means that there is “no life” in the womb.

We do have “Biological Life” which is life that is an extension of the mother’s physical life, but it is not soul-life until biological life receives what we call “Neshumah” or the breath of life.

When a fetus comes “forth from the womb” and when God imputes neshumah, known as the breath of life, to that fetus.

When life truly begins = documentation of the mystery doctrines of the Church-age along with chapters and verses that we use from the Old Testament and from the New Testament.

Scripture References, Word & Phrase descriptions: the “Logos Reftagger” scripture links are hover pop-up active, meaning the scripture reference will just pop-up if you hover your cursor over it (don’t click on the link, just hover your cursor over it), when finished reading, hover your cursor off the scripture reference link. If the Reftagger pop-up doesn’t show all the verses, left click on the “More” button in the Reftagger pop-up window and it will take you to the online bible.

The Tree of Life is a weekly teaching summary:
God’s Word is taught Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

STUDY TITLE:

Study: Heaven. Part 5

We have been noting some of the privileges that will take place in Heaven especially for the winner believer. One of the major ones, as we have noted, is the Tree of Life.

Rev 2:7, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.”

Rev 22:2, “And on either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Rev 22:14, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.”

Remember there were four categories of trees in the Garden of Eden.

1. Every tree being desirable to the sight is the first category which is designed for the prosperity of the soul.

2. The category called “good for food”.

3. The Tree of Life.

4. Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Because the man and the woman ate of the tree of the knowledge of good evil, there are now two trees of life that he can eat from. As an unbeliever, he first of all needs to eat of the first tree of life which is called the Cross.

1Pe 2:24, and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree [KJ], that we might die to the sin nature and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

Gal 3:13, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us— for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree

The tree being called a curse actually came from Deut 21:22-23, “And if a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is accursed of God), so that you do not defile your land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance.

Whenever an individual looks and believes upon the tree of the cross, that’s how he becomes a born again believer. Then he is ready to eat from the second tree of life in time called wisdom or the tree of life which pertains to Bible doctrine, Prov 3:18. Because God, in His grace, has provided for us our own Garden of Eden, which I call the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], we can eat of the tree of life which is the perfect spiritual environment in this life which I call the PPOG. In this life, we can only be happy in the perfect environment of the PPOG. After the fall, the purpose for the creation of man could only be perpetuated by God cutting man off from the Tree of Life in the garden of Eden and providing a new Tree of Life: the Cross, 1Pe 2:24, and then Bible doctrine, Prov 3:18.

We have documented in detail the fact that God did not want man to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good evil because He did not want us to be a position where we had to choose the plan of God over the plan of Satan. Because in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, good represented the plan of God, while evil represented the plan of Satan. God, in His perfect will, did not want us to be in a position where we had to choose one or the other. He would have rather seen His creation remain perfect and never have to choose to make a choice between good or evil. But of course, He knew what was going to happen and therefore He provided a solution. As He always does.

We did not need to know the plan of God and the plan of Satan until we fell. For example, we would not have to know evil, sin, legalism, self-righteousness, religion, and the PPOG, if we had not fell or eaten from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. These are only an issue to man in the state of spiritual death as a sinner. In the garden, neither good nor evil were an issue because of the first three categories of trees.

One which was good for soul stimulation. One for physical stimulation, and for our spiritual stimulation.

1Th 5:23, Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In a state of innocence or in a state of perfection, man didn’t have to understand good and evil to have a relationship with God. Only in sinfulness and spiritual death must man understand the issue of good versus evil. Therefore the Tree of Life for the believer today is Bible Doctrine or PVTD [positive volition towards doctrine]. Now, how do you discover the Tree of Life in time?

Prov 3:13-16, How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For its profit [wisdom or metabolized doctrine] is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine gold. She [wisdom] is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her [wisdom or metabolized doctrine]. Length of days is in her right hand [the right hand represents the hand of power]; in her left hand [the Secondary hand] are riches and honor.

This simply means that capacity for life must precede riches and honor.

Prov 3:17 Her ways are gracious ways, and all her paths are peace.

Then our main verse: Prov 3:18, She [chokmah, wisdom, metabolized doctrine] is a Tree of Life to those who take hold of her.

However, man was cut off from the tree of life because of his positive volition to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Tree of Life was provided by God’s grace to be associated with man’s positive volition, which was to be expressed in his free will toward the PPOG. And so, your PVTD is a manifestation of you eating from the Tree of Life in time. However, once the kingdom of darkness sees that you are positive, it’s time for you to get ready for the distractions to positive volition. And there are many distractions to Bible Doctrine which we began to note Friday evening with the difference between distractions from doctrine and distractions to positive volition. You can have PVTD and have certain distractions hinder that positive volition.

We noted that thorns are used to describe distractions to positive volition toward Bible Doctrine. In Matt 13:7 “and others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out. Then in Matt 13:22 “and the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. You can have PVTD and have it hindered by the worries of this life, or the deception caused by riches.

There is another problem which many believers face which can also extinguish or suffocate PVTD and that is arrogant subjectivity. Arrogant subjectivity is an overemphasis of your personal problems when listening to Bible Doctrine being taught. If your problems are on your mind while listening to doctrine being taught, you won’t hear anything; you’ll just be trying to make the doctrine fit into your problems. And that’s why you must have self discipline to set your problems aside before listening to the teaching of the word of God. Every message is not going to be for your present personal problems. In fact, more than likely it will be for your future problems.

That’s why when Peter said in 2Pe 3:17 you therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest, being carried away by the error of unprincipled men, you fall from your own steadfastness. Knowing this beforehand is the Greek word proginisko which means to have knowledge beforehand or before the moment needed the knowledge is given.

Now, Bible Doctrine is the essential of life, which demands perception and inflexibility in determining the reality in life.

What Bible Doctrine says should be the reality to you, 2Pe 1:16 21.

Peter, James and John had the opportunity to get a glimpse experientially of our Lord’s glory and the Second coming.

Matt 17:2, And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.

That’s His uniform of glory.

2Pe 1:16 for we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

There were a lot of Myths and stories about “gods” coming down to the earth. And Peter is saying we have not followed the Greek Myths or fables but Bible doctrine. So, Peter is talking about the Second Advent or the Second coming of Christ.

And it’s not based on Myth but on the source of many passages in both the Old and New Testament.

This doctrine is not a reality today on the basis of empirical knowledge but on the basis of the fact that it stands written forever in the word of GOD. And the principle that Peter is about to raise is simply this. What is reality, especially to you?

Is reality what you see?
Is reality what you smell?
Is reality what you taste?
Is reality what you hear?

Or, is reality what is found in the word of God?

You may experience something, however, if what you experience does not line up biblically, your experience though real, is wrong. This is one of the major issues that all believers have to determine at some point. If you decide that reality is found in the word of God, then it is inevitable that you must make Bible doctrine your number 1 priority. For whatever reality is to you that’s what you make your number 1 priority in your life. If your reality is a man or woman, then you make them your number 1 priority. Therefore, your chances for happiness are slim and dim and none. But, if you find reality in Bible doctrine then you will turn out to be a great lover and a very wonderful and thoughtful person. And you will end up having a very marvelous and wonderful time in life. It all depends on what reality is to you! If reality is Bible doctrine than you’re in for a very wonderful time. Reality is found in the doctrine of the word of God not in empiricism or experience. Empirical phenomena is what you see, feel, taste, touch, and hear.

So, Peter, even though he has experienced a glimpse of the Second coming will emphasize “doctrine over experience”. He will say in verse 19 “and so we have the prophetic word made more sure.” The prophetic word made more sure is Bible doctrine. What was more real to Peter? Seeing Christ on the mount of transfiguration as He would appear at the Second advent and hearing the voice of God the Father or Bible doctrine metabolized about the subject?

Matt 17:1-8, And six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and *brought them up to a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. And Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him!” And when the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were much afraid. And Jesus came to them and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus Himself alone.

Was this more of a reality to Peter or was the word of God more of a reality. Peter will answer that! He will state that metabolized doctrine is more real than experience.

2Pe 1:17-18, for when He [TLJC the Lord Jesus Christ]] received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to him by the majestic glory, “this is My beloved son with whom I am well pleased” and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the Holy mountain.

Now that was their experience. “We” refers again to Peter, James, and John.

However, notice 2Pe 1:19-21, and so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. But know this first of all, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

So, reality can only be determined by what is taught in the word of God. Personal problems are non essentials, which demand the application of doctrine, and at the same time flexibility, regulation, and restraint when involved in the function of perception and metabolization of doctrine. You must restrain yourself, and not think about your problems when listening to the teaching of Bible Doctrine. You are insulting God when all you think is you and your problems and what you’re going through.

MAT 6:25-33, “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life’s span? And why are you anxious about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these. But if God so arrays the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so for you, O men of little faith? Do not be anxious then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘With what shall we clothe ourselves?’ For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.”

You cannot learn doctrine when you’re thinking about your problems. If you think your problems are more important than anything else in life, you are inflexible about your personal problems, therefore disassociated from reality. Personal problems must not be a distraction to objectivity when under Bible teaching. You can’t think about your problems and hear concentrate on doctrine at the same time. Everyone has problems. Look at how Peter put it in 1Pe 5:6-8, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: God the Holy Spirit inspired those who desired
to follow the Lord – no matter what the price would be.

What is needed to be understood is the place that we should have discovered the importance and the difference between the two.

God will give you what you truly desire if you are willing to study and apply His Word to the plan of God for your life.

The “Life of God” that is needed concerns the fact that you and I were not given soul-life until we were considered to be born physically alive and spiritually dead.

Under this principle, our Lord said; “I will give you the proper information that you will need to be able to make the right decisions.

I do not believe that a fetus is a person until, first of all, the fetus is given biological life and does not become a person until the fetus is brought forth.

“but in the end, we were told that “all of those things will work together for good for those who truly love God.”

Another way to put this is found by the questions we should all have because, as our Lord taught His disciples, God’s word or God’s plan goes on with or without us.

What a great time it is to be able to study the ministry of our Lord where we can spend some valuable time on “Who and What” our Lord is” and “What our Lord did or had done” when He was brought forth from the womb all the way to the tomb.

I have quoted many times the phrase — “From the womb to the tomb.”

Here is another important example of the grace of God and the love and mercy of our Lord, all were working together for good for the sake of those who truly love each other by caring for the Lord or helping others.

I also found another manifestation of this principle in a very different way as the Lord was at work causing us to hear, to listen, or even, to obey.

Although we have found certain manifestations of the fruit that is used, it is said to be based upon the fact that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ quoted what the angel Gabriel announced.

These “two winner angels” are used during the Christmas season because of their role as an angel who became a “winner angel” or “as an angel who performs what their role is” and “what their names actually reveal.

I could give you a lot of information which reveals the names of certain angels who had a special calling even after they fell.

Once again, we see Satan and his kingdom of darkness causing negativity, sowing discord, attacking the grace of God, attacking the love of God, the forgiveness of God, etc. = all of this was reported to millions and millions of rebellious angels.

Isa 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of divination (or witchcraft), And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the
Lord, He has also rejected you from being king.”

1Co 6:3 we are told this: Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, matters of this life?

This verse explains that our life [that is the zoe life] will judge angels.

In 1Pe 1:12 we read that “Angels are said to desire to learn and look into the wisdom that the royal family of God possesses.

1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven things into which angels long to look.

1Pe 1:12, the apostle Peter said what it was that caused these angels to give attention to them or that which He had inspired mankind to put down in written form.

It is found, especially in the written word that God the Holy Spirit inspired those who desired to follow the Lord — no matter what the price would be.

They are all under the Doctrine of Divine Inspiration as a dispensation is a period of time in human history expressed in terms of divine revelation.

It is “grow in the grace of God and then to grow in the knowledge of God.

2Pe 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him {be} the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

It is not grow by means of love but it is to grow by means of knowledge;

It is not grow by means of Immutability because only God can remain as He desires, we cannot.

It is not grow by means of Omnipotence because only God “can be” “all powerful.”

It is not grow by means of Omniscience because only God can possess perfect knowledge, we cannot.

It is not grow by means of Omnipresence because only God can be everywhere or anywhere if He desires.

It is not grow by means of Righteousness because only God is perfectly righteous.

It is not grow by means of Eternal life because eternal life was a gift from God, a gift that only God can give to you.

It is not “grow by means of the Sovereignty of God” because the sovereignty of God is that which He uses to control the human race with the historical principles that keep the human race from self-destruction or to protect the human race from evil.

Remember the principle of God’s plan is not the same for every dispensation. The plan of God for our life is quite different in each dispensation.

The most difficult and subtle plan for the believer in this Church-age is to learn about the predesigned plan of God for the Church-age, which is also identified and experienced as one who has also fulfilled their personal sense of destiny.

It is also important to know that we know and understand that all the “Old Testament” believers were under a different plan which I refer to from time to time as the ritual plan of God.

We all need to learn and grow “by means of grace” or “even by means of knowledge;” as taught by the apostle in 2Pe 3:18 when our Lord Jesus Christ was under the incarnation plan of God.

One of the definitions of the Word of God is that “This doctrine keeps on giving to you and me right away.

You are to keep on preaching and teaching the way you like, which falls under the principle that “Grace must come before knowledge” or else “The Divine Authority”

We are a dispensation that is defined traditionally as a period of time during which a particular revelation of God’s mind and God’s will is operative.

This is when “God the Holy Spirit inspired many of the Lord’s people to be followers of Christ just like some of you were or some of those individuals who are popular in this plan of God.

It is God the Holy Spirit during which time man is tested as to his obedience to that specific manifestation of God’s will, purpose, and plan.

The believer’s orientation to both time and to Human History is vitally necessary for understanding God’s plan, God’s purpose, for all of us at some specific time.

Outside of the church which is called “The royal family” it is God’s means of teaching angels “the manifold wisdom of God.”

There are a few of these believers who can guide us or lead us to our place of refuge, which is really brought out in the personal love chapters found in the pages of scripture.

We all can learn and apply to the spiritual life that we should all have because of that which God the Holy Spirit has put within us.

There are many verses that teach us = Grace first and then it is God the Holy Spirit is here to be “right” before our Lord’s ministry which is called the Second Coming or the Second Advent.

It is here that “the Second Advent or the Second Coming” is said to be that which the Holy Spirit uses and in Luk 1:35.

Even up to the fetus, that the coming of the Lord was not called a person until the day of our Lord’s birth.

It is that which reveals to us that a fetus was inside of Mary and that is why the fetus is called a “Holy Offspring” or a “Holy Thing” but, at this moment, there is just the recognition of the angels who either chose or rejected the plan of God for the human race.

Gabriel is one of the “winner angels” who is described as an angel whose job it was to proclaim the Good News.

Notice in verse 35 in the NAS Bible we read that the fetus is called a holy offspring.

In the King James Bible, the fetus is called a “holy thing.”

The word that is used to describe the fetus in Mary = the Greek adjective hagios which says not in the masculine or not in the feminine which would be translated “he” [in the masculine] or “she” [in the feminine].

It is a Greek adjective that is in the Neuter and that is why the NAS Bible translation or the KJ’s translation calls it a “holy offspring” or a “holy thing” respectively.

Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man [Adam] sin or the [OSN = old sin nature] entered into the world, and death [spiritual death] which resulted in sin or the old sin nature, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned Aorist tense which is the fact that “all sinned when Adam sinned.

This is why we have all been born in sin. There is no soul life in the blastocyst, the embryo or the fetus.

This is why as the King James Bible says that there is biological life in the womb or in the uterus, but no soul life as of yet.

It is when the fetus emerges that God creates soul life and imputes it to biological life.

Biological life is formed in the womb and is an extension of the mother’s physical life.

Here is a very important principle that took place after the biological life and the sin nature began at conception; whereas soul life begins at birth.

This accounts for reflex motility or movement but no soul life.

No one has true soul life until it is imputed.

Human life begins when the fetus emerges from the womb and God gives to that fetus, “neshamah” = “the spark of life,” not developed in the womb, but is given by God at birth.

Here is another important principle concerning when life begins because God cannot impute life without that life having a place to go.

In other words, God does not impute neshamah, the breath of life, to a blade of grass or to a stone.

God cannot impute life without that life having a place to go.

And the home or the direction of human life is always imputed to the human soul.

As I stated so far, it is the home for physical life that is your life that is found in the soul.

There is also biological life in the womb or in the uterus, but no soul life.

It is when the fetus emerges, that God creates soul life and imputes it to biological life.

Your physical body was formed before life was given to your soul….just like it was in the first Adam and the Last Adam.

There are only two Adam’s that we have to deal with, the First Adam or the Last Adam.

“All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.

The Tree of Life is a weekly teaching summary:
God’s Word is taught Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

STUDY TITLE:

Heaven. Part 4

Isa 7:14, “Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”

Isa 9:6, “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”

The ultimate reward or decoration for us in Heaven will be the Order of the Morning Star. This decoration is taken from and named after our Lord’s third royal patent or title which is, “the King of kings, Lord of lords, the bright Morning Star;” (Rev 22:16, 2Pe 1:19).

It’s important to note that the Order of the Morning Star is given to winner believers as the highest of all decorations in escrow blessings given by God. The interesting thing is that the Order of the Morning Star and the attainment of the different crowns allows us to enjoy the privileges that accompany eating of the Tree of Life. The winner believer can eat from the Tree of Life in the Paradise of God, located in the New Jerusalem. By the way the paradise, paradeisos according to the Theological word study of both the Old and New Testament is defined as a gazebo or a place of relaxation and entertainment.

So, because this gazebo is located in Heaven it will be the quintessence of rest and relaxation for the winner believer who will be rewarded by God in a special way. Therefore, let’s look at the passages and the principles of blessings that come from being able to eat of the fantastic blessings that accompany the Tree of Life. First of all, the Tree of Life is associated with perfect life and environment in the Garden of Eden as well as the perpetuation of a right relationship with God, Gen 2:9; Gen 3:22. For example in Gen 2:8-9, and the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there he placed the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

When man sinned and was driven out of the garden and he was cut off from the Tree of Life, Gen 3:24.

In Gen 3:22-24, Then the Lord God said, “behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, lest he stretch out his hand, and take also from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever” Therefore the Lord God sent him out from the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. So, he drove the man out; and at the east of the Garden of Eden he stationed the cherubim, and the flaming sword which turned every direction, to guard the way to the Tree of Life.

The literal Tree of Life is not seen again by man until the eternal state, Rev 2:7; Rev 22:2, 14. It’s interesting that the importance and prominence of the Tree of Life is that the human history began with the Tree of life in Gen 2 and ends with the Tree of life in Rev 22.

Rev 2:7, ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches. to him who overcomes [nikao- the winner], I will grant to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the paradise of God.

Again, the word paradise, paradesos, according to the Theological word study of both the Old and New Testament is defined as a gazebo of relaxation and entertainment. Then in Rev 22:14, blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter by the gates into the city.

Now the interesting thing is that in this life there is only one Tree of Life for mankind and it is related to the word of God or Bible doctrine, Prov 3:18, She [doctrine] is a Tree of Life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast. And positive volition is also related to the Tree of Life in Prov 13:12, Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled [positive volition] is a Tree of Life.

This is why the Tree of Life will be located forever in the New Jerusalem, Rev 22:2. It will be a place where the word of God is glorified and where desire is totally fulfilled. Also notice that eternal happiness is associated with the Tree of Life, in Rev 22:14 when it says not blessed but happy are those who wash their robes [use rebound in this life consistently], that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter by the gates into the city.

Now, in Gen 2:9, we noted that there are four categories of trees in the Garden of Eden.

First of all, in Gen 2:9 we read and out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The first category is said to be every tree being desirable to the sight is the first category which is designed for the prosperity of the soul. All happiness must be related to the soul, to what you think. Happiness is not a set of circumstances. If you have capacity from doctrine in the soul, then you can express that happiness regardless of your circumstances. So, category one was designed for man’s pleasure of soul and for his capacity for happiness.

The second category of trees was the category called “good for food.” Man, also had physical happiness or happiness of his body. Food and beverages were designed to express happiness, to stimulate, to perpetuate health. In fact, notice what God said to the Jews who had prospered because of their PVTD [positive volition towards doctrine] in Deut 14:22-27, “You shall surely tithe all the produce from what you sow, which comes out of the field every year. And you shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the first born of your herd and your flock, in order that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always. And if the distance is so great for you that you are not able to bring the tithe, since the place where the Lord your God chooses to set His name is too far away from you when the Lord your God blesses you, then you shall exchange it for money, and bind the money in your hand and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses. And you may spend the money for whatever your heart desires, for oxen, or sheep, or wine, or strong drink, or whatever your heart desires; and there you shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice, you and your household. Also, you shall not neglect the Levite who is in your town, for he has no portion or inheritance among you.”

3Jo 1:2, Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

The third category: The Tree of Life. The Tree of Life was both the capacity for perfect happiness and blessing, and total appreciation of God’s grace in the spiritual realm. The Tree of Life was and is related to the total happiness of man when he was first created. Today, the closest you can come to the Tree of Life is reaching spiritual maturity. People have asked what would have happened if man had eaten from the Tree of Life after he had sinned against God? If man, in spiritual death, had eaten from the Tree of Life, he would have lived forever in his present state of sinful immortality, in the status of spiritual death, and would eventually be condemned with the entire human race totally to the lake of fire. You cannot have an old sin nature and eat of this particular Tree of Life. That’s why the Lord said in Gen 3:22, “behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, lest he stretch out his hand, and take also from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever”

The point is that you cannot have God’s perfect happiness and live in spiritual death and sin. So, the present Tree of Life is provided by God’s grace associated with man’s positive volition, which was to be expressed in his free will toward the plan of God. However, a new tree had to be selected in order for happiness to exist. And that new tree is found in 1Pe 2:24 and he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree. By expelling man from the garden, man could now choose to eat from the tree of the Cross. However, remember that only winners in the Christian life have the privilege of eating continually and habitually from the Tree of Life in the garden of God in eternity.

Rev 2:7, “To the winner, I will give to him the privilege of eating from the Tree of Life which is in the paradise of God.”

Category four is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God in His grace has provided for us our own Garden of Eden which I call the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], a perfect spiritual environment in this life. In this life, we can only be happy in the perfect environment of the PPOG [predesigned plan of God]. So, after the fall, the purpose for the creation of man could only be perpetuated by cutting man off from the Tree of Life and providing a new Tree of Life: the Cross. By remaining in the Garden in spiritual death, man would have been immortal with unhappiness. Therefore, God cut man off from the Tree of Life. And this was another manifestation that justice has to come before love.

Judgment had to come because condemnation must precede salvation. So, man was originally designed for perfect happiness. Perfect happiness excludes boredom. Man sins many times because he becomes bored and familiar with it all. When we try to relieve boredom with excitement, we destroy the whole principle of God’s perfect happiness. For you can’t have God’s perfect happiness without capacity.

So, the Tree of Life perpetuates happiness and prosperity in both the human soul and body in perfect environment. Now, the first three categories are designed for man in innocence, and for the believer in resurrection body.

1. Every tree being desirable to the sight,
2. Those good for food,
3. The Tree of Life

Man did not need to have the knowledge of good and evil. Good represented the plan of God, evil represented the plan of Satan. We did not need to know the plan of God and the plan of Satan until we fell. We would not have known evil, sin, legalism, self-righteousness, religion, and the PPOG, if we had not fell or eaten from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. These are only an issue to man in the state of spiritual death as a sinner.

In the garden, neither good nor evil were an issue because of the first three categories of trees. In innocence man didn’t have to understand good and evil to have a relationship with God. Only in sinfulness and spiritual death must man understand the issue of good versus evil. And therefore, the Tree of Life for the believer today is Bible doctrine or PVTD [positive volition towards doctrine].

Prov 3:13-18, How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For its profit is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine gold. She [wisdom] is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a Tree of Life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast.

Knowledge of Bible doctrine is the only Tree of Life available to the believer after salvation. And so, learning doctrine in time is as close as we can get to the happiness of the Tree of Life. And for the believer who recovers and doesn’t quit no matter what, that believer will have fantastic blessings and rewards in heaven based upon the privilege of eating from the Tree of Life.

Now, how do you discover the Tree of Life in time?

Prov 3:13, How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.

The word blessed is the word ashreey meaning happinesses. Wisdom is chokmah which is the Old Testament word for epignosis doctrine or metabolized doctrine.

Prov 3:14, For its profit [wisdom or metabolized doctrine] is better than the profit of silver, and its gain [is better] than fine gold.

You cannot even compare riches with wisdom for it is wisdom which gives you a capacity for life not riches.

Prov 3:15-16, She [wisdom] is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her [wisdom or metabolized doctrine]. Long life is in her right hand; [the right hand represents the hand of power]; in her left hand [the secondary hand] are riches and honor.

This simply means that capacity for life must precede riches and honor.

Prov 3:17, Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.

The word pleasant is the Hebrew word no`am meaning gracious. Peace is shalowm meaning prosperity.

Prov 3:18 she [chokmah, wisdom, metabolized doctrine] is a tree of life to those who take hold of [to seize, to be constant, to continue, to be established, to retain] her, and happy are all who hold her fast who obtain, follow close, maintain, retain, support, or to hold strongly with her.
