Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.
1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

If we do not understand the Terms that are used by RMBM [Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries], then we will not understand what God the Holy Spirit is trying to say to the Churches today.
This is why we are told seven times to listen to the Lord Jesus Christ as Rev 2:7 says “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Dispensation = a system of order or a period of time in which the Lord has at least one period of time in human history expressed in terms of divine revelation.
The word dispensation is a technical theological term used primarily by the apostle Paul in the presentation of the mystery doctrine of this Church Age; Col 1:24-29.
Notice the word translated stewardship is the Greek noun oikonomia which is correctly translated dispensations.
Dispensations are also said to be the divine categories of human history; therefore, both the divine outline and the divine interpretation of human history; as well as the vehicle by which believers living at a specific time in history can orient to God’s will, plan, and purpose for their lives.
Dispensation = a period of time during which a particular revelation of God’s mind and God’s will is operative, and during which man is tested as to his obedience to that specific manifestation of God’s will, purpose, and plan.
Eph 5:20, We should always be thankful for all things in the name of the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, our Father;
We continued by revealing some of the things that the Lord had done for us in eternity past and some of the reasons for Him doing so.
Billions and billions of years ago, our Lord designed and created certain blessings just for us “personally.”
Blessings that He knew would make us extremely happy if we knew what they were and how to receive them as well as how to enjoy them and the divine purpose that they were created for.
1. The Purpose of God in blessing His creation.
2. The Reason for God in blessing what He creates.
3. The Joy God receives in blessing what He creates.
4. The Capacity of God in enjoying what He creates.
5. How God is Glorified by what He creates.
6. The Importance of Capacity in what He creates.
7. The means God uses for what He creates.
There are many individuals who know about the things that God has prepared for them that love Him but do not understand how God is glorified by those things.
If we are parents and we love to give blessings and prosperity, how much more does our Heavenly Father love to give to us?
How much more does our Father desire and enjoy giving to His children?
Our Lord made one of the greatest statements ever made on this subject of giving and receiving to His children and also love doing just that; Acts 20:28-35.
Jesus Christ = He taught His disciples how to give and how to receive and how to enjoy the blessing from doing so.
How to Give.
How to receive.
How to enjoy.
Paul disobeyed God the Holy Spirit and went towards Jerusalem because of his love for the Jews.
The apostle Paul taught the pastors the importance of giving, receiving, and enjoying all that the Lord had done for all of us as Church-age believers.
The apostle Paul ended up disobeying one of the commands concerning the geographical location that God the Holy Spirit was leading the apostle Paul to a certain geographical location.
It was here in Ephesus that the apostle Paul was disciplined by God the Holy Spirit for refusing to go to Ephesus because he had become emotional and sentimental and wanted to go back to Jerusalem.
Notice that the apostle Peter said in 1Pe 5:2, to Shepherd or feed the flock of God among you,
Exercising oversight (spiritual authority) not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to {the will of} God; and not for sordid gain (money) ,
But with eagerness which refers to being motivated properly;
These two passages teach that there is a right pastor-teacher, for the right congregation .
1Co 7:17, Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this manner let him walk. And thus I direct in all the churches.
“to shepherd or feed the flock or the church of God which He (that is God) purchased with His own blood.
This verse God the Holy Spirit purchased the church of God with His (that is God’s) own blood, which can only refer to or mean that the Lord Jesus Christ is called God.
God the Father does not have blood nor does God the Holy Spirit have blood, only God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, has blood.
This verse must refer to the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the only member of the godhead who has human blood.
The apostle Paul makes that very popular statement that says that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
This is one of the most popular statements that the word of God states concerning the subject of Giving and Receiving and the blessings that follow.
Most people place a lot more emphasis on “getting” than they do on “giving.”
Do you honestly get a lot more enjoyment out of giving than you do out of receiving?
God sees that many of His children place much more emphasis on receiving than they do on giving.
His Word clearly teaches that He put us on this earth not to see how much we can get, but to see how much we can give.
1Co 3:13, Each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is {to be} revealed with fire; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.
2Co 5:10, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
(1) When we give freely and generously, we put God first ahead of our own selfish interests.
(2) When we give freely and generously, this shows that we trust God.
The degree of our giving is a clear indication of our freedom from fear and worry concerning our logistics we need for the future.
Freedom from fear and worry is always a blessing.
(3) When we give freely and generously, this protects us from the pitfalls of greed and (Get this?) covetousness.
Generous giving comes from a humble loving heart.
Greed and selfishness are derived from a proud heart and this blocks us from the blessings of God.
1Pe 5:5, “for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
(4) It is more blessed to give than to receive because the more we give to God, the more this opens the channel for Him to see that we can receive abundantly from Him in return?
Our Lord is saying “Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back but given back with bonuses and blessings.
Giving under the principle that Generosity begets Generosity.
(5) Giving graciously and sacrificially produces an attitude in the individual which allows God to pour out more blessing to the one who gives.
Giving graciously and sacrificially is for your own benefit.
When it comes to giving and doctrinal directions, you must remember why the Lord said it’s better to give than it is to receive.
Independence Day = Day of Freedom as Passover.
Thanksgiving Day = Giving Thanks for all things to the Lord.
Christmas Day = God so Loved – He gave – John 3:16.
New Years Day = Celebrate the Brand New Year.
If we withhold our giving, we are actually withholding the blessing that our Father wants to give to us.
The “receiving” that most people want deep down in their hearts actually comes as a result of their giving.
These are some of the reasons why the Lord said that “it is more blessed to give than it is to receive” because, by our giving, we do receive.
We will get to the point where, when we give a little, it hurts and when we give a great deal it doesn’t hurt at all.

not grudgingly – ekplus the genitive of lupe meaning out of sorrow, pain, grief, annoyance.
under compulsion = ex anagke – anankes meaning out of constraint, distress, necessity, imposed either by the circumstances or by duty.
The word cheerful is the adjective hilaron meaning joyful, happy, gracious, a willing to do anything type of person.
God’s Word tells us that He doesn’t want us to give grudgingly because we feel that this is a necessity.
God the Father didn’t give us His Son grudgingly says ISA 53:10, “But the Lord was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief.”
Our Lord’s attitude was revealed in Luke 22:42 He was saying, “Father, if Thou art willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Thine be done.”
Heb 12:2, “who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame,”
If we really understood our Lord’s attitude in giving, we would always have the proper motivation to be a cheerful Giver.
Too many Christians look upon their giving as an obligation that they owe instead of as a seed that they sow.
Most people think that the times that they “get” are the happiest times of their lives.
According to the mind of Christ, it is more blessed to give than to receive; Acts 20:35.
Who wouldn’t be cheerful if they fully comprehended that, in addition to doing God’s work, they would receive a bountiful harvest from the seeds that they had sown?
God blesses the cheerful giver, not the grudging giver.
God’s Word tells us over and over again that if we give bountifully, we will receive bountifully in return.
Prov 8:21, Doctrine or wisdom is speaking and she says “I want to endow those who love me with wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.
The “moth” and “rust” and “corruption” that the Lord speaks about are things like inflation, high interest rates and the selfish desires of the world’s economic system.
Who are the “thieves” that the Lord said will break through and steal the money that we store up on earth?
God’s Word tells us that these thieves are Satan and his demons who are in control of the cosmic world system.
John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life and might have it more abundantly.
Two of his favorite devices are to try to influence us to spend “our money on selfish desires or to store it up to provide ourselves with worldly security.”
