Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Dispensation of the Hypostatic Union continued: We should always be giving thanks to the LORD for all things.

The Doctrine of the Dispensation of the Hypostatic Union is the fact that Undiminished Deity and True Humanity is found in one person forever, that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As we continue with our subject, I would like to begin by revealing one of the reasons that our Lord designed and created especially just for us personally.

Eph 5:20, We should always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even our Father;

Phil 4:6, Be anxious for nothing (stop worrying about anything), but in everything by prayer and supplication with an attitude of thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Then the Apostle Paul gets us right to the main principles concerning what the Lord does just for us:

Col 3:17, And whatever you do in word or deed, {do} all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Then to those believers who were worried that the Rapture had already come and they were left behind, the Apostle Paul says:

1Th 5:18, In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Why does the Lord desire to bless us concerning His blessings and one of the main reasons for those blessings which is the fact that: (Are you ready)?

The first thing God He did was to bless us in Eph 1:3 and then He chose us or elected us to have His highest and best from those blessings; Eph 1:4.

God receives glory for the things He has done and for all that He has provided, especially for those believers who have responded to His call without any interference from them.

Respond to His call as an invitation from Him without any human or angelic interference designed by Satan to distract us from our PVTD [positive volition towards doctrine] and to try and deny us the divine blessings that can stagger the mind or the imagination.

As we continue with our subject concerning the things that God has done for us that we also need to establish what our Lord was doing before He created the earth, the angels, the animal kingdom or even males and females.

If you have been a member of this Ministry (GBC=Grace Bible Church) or (RMBM=Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries), which has had a real impact upon those believers who desire to know the truth, learn about the truth, and then apply the truth, the time for application is right now.

What is the Politeuma Privilege? Well, from the time of the Third Century B.C.,
politeuma was frequently used to designate a corporate body of citizens or a colony of foreigners who were residents in a foreign country while their citizenship and allegiance is elsewhere.

Politeuma = a hapax legomena, which of course is a word used only once in the Bible.

The noun politeuma came to mean a place of Roman citizenship, Roman commonwealth, or a Roman community!

When they heard the noun politeuma or the verb politeuomai, to them it meant that they were a privilege people.

One of the privileges of the noun politeuma, was that if you lived in Philippi as a Roman citizen who had become victorious in the Greek games and you had no taxes for the rest of your life.

Because you were a part of the politeuma privileges which were considered to be some of the greatest privileges in the ancient world at that time.

When the Apostle Paul dropped this word on the Philippians in
chapter one and again in chapter three, he used this word because it was a short way of teaching the entire concept of being a winner in the PPOG [The Lord Jesus Christ] in the Church-age.

That is another reason why the Apostle Paul used this word only with the Philippians because only in Philippi did this word have enough significance to establish one of the most unusual analogies in the word of God.

While only used once in the Bible, the noun has enough extra Biblical usage for us to understand exactly what was meant when Paul said in Phil 1:27, Only politeuomai your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.

Phil 1:27, Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ;

This word actually means that we must always live our lives in the light of our eternal future.

And therefore, one of the main principles which emerge is to live your life in the light of the future.

While our time on this earth is very short, even if you live to be a hundred, it’s like a drop of water in the ocean compared to eternity.

This metaphor develops the concept that when you live your life in the light of eternity, you can become a winner believer.

Notice how the Apostle Paul used verses like this and many others to glorify His work as being something “He does for us”, as well as “in us” and is not from ourselves but from Him.

This is when you also realize that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us, Rom 8:18.

Rom 8:18, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

All of these passages indicate that we are not of this world but we have a Heavenly citizenship.

And this is why we are told in Matt 6:19, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.”

Matt 6:20, “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;”

John 18:36, the Lord said, My kingdom is not of this world.”

John 15:19, he said to us “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

And the whole point is to advance to spiritual adulthood, so that the problems, the adversities, the tragedies, the difficulties of life become a blessing.

For strangely enough the greatest blessings in life come to the believer who goes through undeserved suffering and reaches spiritual adulthood.

And so, all of these things and others mean that Heaven is the source of the privileges we enjoy as believers.

Prin: All believers living on planet earth during the dispensation of the Church-age can become a special privileged group; 1Pe 2:5;2:9.

1Pe 2:5, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Or 1Pe 2:9, But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for {God’s} own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1Pe 2:10, for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

These special privileges are the unique provisions of the Church-age.

1)The first privilege of our Heavenly Citizenship is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

2) The second privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the PPOG.

3) The third privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the unique mystery doctrine of the Church-age.

4) The fourth privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the believers escrow account and escrow blessings.

5) The firth privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the equal privilege and equal opportunity principle.

6) The sixth privilege of our heavenly citizenship are the two royal appointments.

7) The seventh privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the indwelling of the Trinity.

8) The eighth privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the availability of divine power.

9) The ninth privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the completed canon of scripture.

10) The tenth privilege of our heavenly citizenship is the ability to become a spiritual champion or an invisible hero.

No matter how much power an unbeliever has, no matter how much wealth, no matter how much greatness, no unbeliever has what you possess as a member of the Royal family of God.

You possess the privileges that come directly from Heaven and the greatest privileges ever given in all of human history to individual believers.

And in the Church-age, every believer or member of the Royal family of God is to utilize these unique privileges from Heaven. They’re what I call the privileges of our Heavenly Citizenship.

First of all, we begin with a very important principle; Awareness and consistent use of these assets keeps the believer moving forward in the Christian way of life.

They’re what I call the privileges of our Heavenly Citizenship.
