Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.
1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

The Angelic Conflict - Part 36 - Point 10. - The Pseudo Victory of Satan in the Original Fall of Man
Eze 28:15 You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you.
God revealed His hatred toward the sin of rebellion by putting an ice pack around the earth and confining Satan and all of his followers, Gen 1:1-2, 2Pe 3:6, Job 9:5-8, Jer 4:23-25, Psa 18:7-15.
God’s plan was for all the universe to see, once and for all, if it were possible for any creature, of any rank, to live for even a moment independent of God the Creator.
The angelic conflict (invisible war) brings out a second will, the creature’s will over God’s will, and it takes place in human history!
It was a judgment which was fitting for Satan and his followers because it revealed the power of God and the impotence of Satan.
By the simple Word of God the heavens and the earth were brought down into judgment and chaos.
Anyone who thinks that he can get along without God and accomplish anything in his own power, is doomed to the sensation - “dust in the mouth.”
It began to dawn in his darkened mind that his wisdom was not omniscience, his power was not omnipotence, and he was a creature with no ability to create.
He had the appetite and desire to be like God, act like God, and possess the universe; but there was nothing but a sense of emptiness, impotence because of inability!
Everyone who wishes to be independent of God should know that the path of any creature who cuts loose from a surrendered dependence upon God is the path of Lucifer.
Emptiness, inability, frustration, dust: these are the portion of the man who walks his own way.
Jer 49:20; Jer 50:45 - Therefore hear the plan of the Lord! Heb 11:6 - Without faith it is impossible to please God
Jer 18:12 We are going to follow our own plans [independence from the plan of God], and each one will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.
Psa 78:8 A stubborn and rebellious generation does not prepare its heart, And their spirit is not faithful to God.
Jer 5:23 But this people has a stubborn and rebellious heart; They have turned aside and departed.
Jer 7:24 Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.
Satan, who had claimed he would be like the Possessor of heaven and earth, was to be revealed as the bragger and boaster who could not fulfill what he claimed to be!
We are not to think of a creature “perfect in all his ways” becoming in an instant “the dragon ... that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world,” Rev 12:9.
The frustration, bitterness, and jealousy in Satan grew into an ever-increasing hatred toward God; it fed upon itself and he became worse and worse and more depraved!
From the first moment when God spoke the Word that brought light shining out of darkness, Satan was aware that God was about to do something Satan didn’t really understand!
The divine command went forth and when the light pushed back the curtains of darkness, the stage, planet earth, was seen to be empty.
After six days of preparation, the new character stepped on the scene: homo sapien or man, a new creature made lower than the angels!
Psa 8:4-5 What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him? Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than the gods [angels], And dost crown him with glory and majesty!
The very place which had been the scene of the challenge to the authority of the Most High God was to see His victorious vindication.
John 17:4 “I glorified Thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which Thou hast given Me to do.”
Through the redemption in Christ, God would bring a mighty company of believers, whom He could raise to the very throne of heaven without the remotest possibility that any one of them ever claim any power in his own right.
