Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.
1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.
Internet Church Service – May 8, 2022; We must understand the importance of discerning what is truth and what is Not.
One principle that we should make sure that we understand is the importance of being able to discern "What is truth and What is Not.
"what is truth" = Every member of the human race is born with a light that is in their conscience that reveals to them that there has to be more to life than what they have discovered.
Jn 1:9 There was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.
The last part of verse 9 = our Lord "enlightens every man" --- Not some men or woman but "every man or woman."
One of the main witnesses of this principle was someone who was considered to be a follower of our Lord waiting for the Messiah.
John the Baptist - he recognized that the Messiah was very close to coming back and he wanted to make sure that his followers knew that something was happening behind the scenes.
These individuals were disciples of John the Baptist who was in jail when he heard that the Messiah was around and he wanted to be sure that his disciples would follow the Lord.
Jn 3:30 = John the Baptist gave some very important instructions to his disciples and then he made a very unusual statement to them in Jn 3:30.
This is one of the passages that reveals the importance of losing our life to follow our Lord.
No one can ever follow our Lord unless the are willing to lose their lives and follow Him; Mat 10:34-42.
1. Mat 10:34 He comes right to the point when He said to His disciples "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
2. When their Messiah comes that He would just take over the Roman Empire and set Himself up on a Roman Throne and then the Jews would follow Him no matter what.
3. Mat 10:35 = He did not come to bring peace but He came because He knew what was about to take place and He wanted the Jews to get ready for what was about to happen; Mat 10:35.
4. In Mat 10:36, our Lord tells us and reveals to us that our enemies will be members of our own families.
5. In Mat 10:37 = He tells us we should never love our parents, our father, our mother, sons or daughters, etc. more than we love Him.
6. Mat 10:38 = "He who does not take his cross [God's plan and for our personal sense of destiny] and then we are to follow Him even though we know we are not worthy of Him.
7. Even though we know this truth, we cannot ignore this truth if we truly want to be one of our Lord's disciples and glorify Him.
8. Coming Attractions = our Lord is about to face as we grow in His grace and in His knowledge which Satan and his kingdom of darkness tries to hinder us from fulfilling the truth of God.
The answer to "Why" is found in Jn 2:24-25, But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men,
Jn 2:25 and because He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man for He Himself knew what was in man.
1. Mat 10:40 = our Lord reveals to us the importance of the unity that must exist if you want to be a disciple of His.
Prin: To receive the Lord is to receive God the Father and to receive God the Father is to receive God the Son, = the entire Trinity have different roles in God' plan which means that we are ready to rumble.
1. It was not a religion but a relationship with our Lord that is based upon our Union with Him and the doctrine of positional Truth; Mat 10:41-42.
Solomon was a man who started out as a great ruler.
Being a ruler was simply a matter of inheritance and he wanted more than just that, he wanted to become more than just a man who inherited something from someone, he wanted to become an achiever.
Achiever = someone who wanted to be successful, or one who did not quit but rather he wanted to be one who carried through whatever he decided to do or to get or to attain by effort; or gain; or prosperity.
His father David was also a ruler but he was also an achiever and he was the greatest soldier of his day.
Solomon did not know what was happening because arrogance blinds us from receiving God's blessings and prosperities and little did Solomon Know that he was about to meet the love of his life.
Solomon began to function with what he thought he wanted, and he missed out on receiving God's highest and best known also to us as the doctrine of Election.
In the ancient world that there were some believers who became involved in relationships with each rather than fellowship with our God.
1Co 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
The fellowship that we should have is a fellowship with our Lord first and this is another reason that we should replace our relationships with people over our fellowship with our Lord.
Reminding all of us of the importance of our fellowship with our Lord above our relationship with people that I call the "The Peyton Place of Carnality; 1Co 3:1-3."
Pr 8:13 "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate.
Pr 11:2 When pride comes, then comes dishonor, But with the humble is wisdom.
Pr 16:18 Pride {goes} before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.
Pr 29:23 A man's pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.
2Ch 9:13 = Solomon had problems with his earthly family, and his wealth of arrogance which is recorded for us in 2Ch 9:13 where the Holy Spirit motivated Solomon to put down in writing.
We continue with one of the wealthiest man who ever lived and who also had a business in the ancient world that was phenomenal.
The issue for believers is not what some teach but it is a reference to being a disciple in the ancient world.
To be one requires that you have the humility to listen, to learn, and to apply.
1Co 4:1 "Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God."
1Co 4:2 In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.
Since we are commanded to handle our Lord's blessing, we should do so, in honor and virtue and not for any other reason than to glorify our Lord and Savior.
It is the exact number that the Lord uses to guide others concerning what they should be focusing upon, not money but principle.
The principle of discipleship and focuses in on an individual who wants to play with money or dollars and prosperity but instead they fell into it the deception and the lies that "loser believers" also fall into.
Here is where a lot of pastors go astray even though many of them have become like the implacable type of pastors who are in danger of ignoring God's plans.
Prin: Do not get involved with the evil and the lies that come from the cosmic system such as the principle of playing the numbers game which some believers have used to try and get ahead of in life.
You may think that money is your slave but deep down inside you will discover who the real slave is.
1. We began with a period of time before the creation of the world and before the creation of Angels; Pro 8.
2. Some of the functions and responsibility of the angels in eternity past before their rebellion when Satan convinced one third of God's angels to rebel against our Lord, and they did so.
3. Many of the Jews followed our Lord as He presented the doctrinal views that our Lord took over in the Old Testament especially under the Mosaic Law.
4. We will also study what is a Theophany called "The Angel of the Lord."
5. Biological Life = the extension of the woman's life, it is not a human life or human soul until the fetus comes forth "from the womb."
This is when your life truly began because there is life in the womb but it is biological life which is the extension of the woman's life.
6. Life in the womb
7. Virgin Pregnancy
8. Virgin Birth
9. Our Lord for the first 12 twelve years
10. The silence of Christ from 12-30.
11. life of Christ 30-33 AD
12. His cross to bear while living
13. His cross to bear while dying
14. His Resurrection -- Ascension -- Session
15. Life in the beginning with the Church-age
