Hymn #2
Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.
1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. Left click the following link to learn more and fully understand the doctrine of Rebound; which answers the question, why do I need to keep confessing my sins all the time? REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references;” if just hover doesn’t work, do a “control-left-click,” if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.
Christian Soldier, Part 45. Profile Of Elijah, Part 1. The Mystery Behind The Prophet.
There is no mention of Elijah in God’s Hall of Fame; Heb 11.
Abel; Enoch; Noah; Abraham; Sarah; Isaac; Jacob; Joseph; Moses; Rahab.
Note that Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, Samuel and the prophets are all mentioned in Heb 11:32.
When you combine verse 32, the prophets, with verse 35, women receiving back their dead, then the only conclusion is that the prophets must refer to Elijah and Elisha.
Elijah’s name means “Jehovah is my God.”
Elisha’ name means “God is salvation.
Elijah raised the son of the Zarephath widow from the dead (1Ki 17:17-22) and his student Elisha raised the son of the Shunammite woman from the dead; (2Ki 4:32-35).
Resurrection refers to being raised from the dead and receiving a body that will never die again.
Resuscitation refers to dying and the coming back from the dead only to receive a body that would die again, like Lazarus.
Heb 11:35 Women received back their dead by resurrection or resuscitation;
They have lost something that was beyond hope but they received it back.
First, they had doctrine in their souls.
Then, having doctrine in their souls and losing something of great value, they also had great pain in their souls and there was a conflict between the two.
Next, they went to their right prophets at the time, Elijah and Elisha, and to God to answer the tremendous doctrine in the soul with miracles and they were able to handle it.
The fact that Elijah they had enough doctrine in the soul to cope with any situation if he desired to.
Not only does the doctrine in the soul give Elijah the courage to stand up under pressure at times but the word of God gives him the strength to maintain that courage of soul.
Just because they are mentioned does not mean that they automatically made God’s Hall of fame because what is mentioned does but their names do not.
Heb 11:34 they quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, [but they also] put foreign armies to flight.
It’s interesting because the invading army in this case is the army in action of the aliens.
The word for “foreign armies” is “allotrios” which basic meaning is aliens.
The passage literally says they put to flight the invading aliens called the enemy.”
Although the Bible does not speak of aliens who live on far away planets, it does speak of a Spirit Being who “inhabits eternity” (Isa 57:15).
There's nothing in the Bible that addresses aliens or says they can't exist for Christianity to be true.
The Bible never addresses aliens as such, because apparently the Lord doesn’t seem to think it is important for us to know more than He revealed.
He is Risen is the only issue that counts.
Although the Bible does not speak of aliens who live on faraway planets, it does speak of "cosmic powers over this present darkness...spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." (Eph 6:12).
Eph 6:12 Because our struggle is not against blood [people's souls] and flesh [their old sin nature], but against the rulers [these are the archons like Abaddon and Beelzebub], against the powers [demon officers who have phenomenal authority], against the world forces of this darkness [kosmokratoras meaning demons who specialize in possessing or influencing the cosmos or world rulers] against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places or against the spiritual forces of evil in the atmosphere around the earth, the stellar universe and in the presence of God. Could the UFO and Alien phenomenon people perceive today actually be wicked spiritual forces to undermine our belief in God?
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have been created by Him and for Him.
Here those who reject the evil they promote would be put to death for doing so.
In the book of Ezekiel, we have a lot of references to the existence of a supernatural species both for the good and the evil.
Heb 3:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Isa 1:2 Listen, O heavens, and hear, O earth;
Isa 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name.
IsaA 45:12 "It is I who made the earth, and created man upon it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands, And I ordained all their host.
Neh 9:6 "Thou alone art the Lord. Thou hast made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. Thou dost give life to all of them and the heavenly host bows down before Thee.
In Ac 19:35, the apostle Paul made this statement, “What man is there after all who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is guardian of the temple of the great Artemis, and of the image which fell down from heaven?”
Num 13:33 "There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight."
All we know is that we should never be shocked when God reveals the existence of another species which many call today “aliens.”
Heb 11:35 Women received back their dead by resurrection (resuscitation);
1. There is no mention of Elijah in God’s Hall of Fame; Heb 11.
Some of the signs and miracles that he did were mentioned because they were performed as divine good.
2. All his life, Elijah was active in the defense of his God and his teachings brought him into the constant conflict with the apostate kings of Israel.
Apostasy is an act of reversing or turning in the opposite direction or a state of being so turned.
In apostasy we turn the other way and cannot be distinguished from our pre-salvation status.
Apostasy is a reversal of your priorities, your attitudes, your affections and even the object of your personal love accompanied by the destruction of your impersonal unconditional love.
Inside the cosmic system you completely change your personality.
The process of reverting begins with exploding within by yielding to the temptations of the sin nature and the different lust patterns of the flesh.
Elijah had to learn how to deal with the different forms of people testing during his time as a prophet to Israel.
By failing to execute the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], the loser believer loses his escrow blessings for time and eternity.
1. Reaction and distraction.
2. Frantic search for happiness.
3. Operation boomerang.
4. Emotional revolt of the soul.
5. Permanent negative volition.
6. Blackout of the soul.
7. Scar tissue of the soul.
8. The total collapse of the believer (sin unto death).
While the carnal believer can still be positive toward doctrine and faithful in using 1Jo 1:9, the apostate believer is negative toward doctrine, has entered the vanity of the vacuum of the soul; Eph 4:17-20.
1. Gal 5:4, "drifting off course from grace."
Gal 5:4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
These are the believers who Paul said to in Gal 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh.
2. Php 3:18 "the enemy of the cross."
The enemy of the cross simply refers to those who either through ignorance or cognizance, have rejected the finished work of TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ].
Php 3:18 For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ.
3. Jer 9:25-26, the apostate believers are said to be "uncircumcised of heart."
But the people's ears were "uncircumcised"; that is, they would not listen to Bible teaching.
Doctrine in the soul makes you alert to coming national disaster.
They were circumcised physically but not mentally.
4. Heb 12:15, "falling from grace" which means total malfunction of the grace way of life, and total ignorance of the grace policy of God.
Heb 12:15 see to it that no one comes short of the grace of God so that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.
5. 2Pe 2:7-8, "the tortured soul."
2Pe 2:7 and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men.
2Pe 2:8 (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds),
6. 2Pe 2:14, "the unstable soul."
2Pe 2:14 having eyes full of adultery and that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children;
7. Revv 2:5, the apostate believer is said to have "fallen."
Rev 2:5 'Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand out of its place unless you repent.
8. Rev 2:4, they "left their first love."
Rev 2:4 'But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
9. Rev 3:15-16, the apostate believer are called "lukewarm."
Rev 3:15 'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
10. 1Ti 1:19, "shipwrecked."
According to 1Ti 1, it is only through guarding doctrine in the heart that will keep the believer on course and protect him from becoming shipwrecked.
1Ti 1:19 keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith or their doctrine.
It is shocking how the ultimate form of apostasy is literally called a hater of God in Jn 15:23.
Jn 15:23 "He who hates me [Jesus Christ], also hates My Father."
Remember that the word hate doesn't necessarily mean the sin of hate but it means to love God less than you do others or love them less.
Elijah had to flee for his life because he clashed frequently with the Jewish King Ahab who was highly influenced and controlled by his Pagan wife Jezebel whose gods were all related to Ba’al.
