Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, only if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life) John 3:16, John 6:47 as a few examples; it is very important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so the Holy Spirit can teach you as to what your reading or hearing is true or false. To be taught by the Holy Spirit you must be filled with the Holy Spirit which means abiding in Christ. To place yourself in fellowship with God the Holy Spirit [also called abiding in the Christ], take a moment to simply name, cite or acknowledge [confess] your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father). Why? Because you cannot grow spiritually if you’re not abiding in Christ [in fellowship with Him] when you take in bible truth.
1 John 1:9, says: “If we confess [meaning to simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known unconfessed sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND; read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus, The Christ alone for eternal life [salvation] and you will be saved [receive Eternal Life] the very micro second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness [Num 21:4-9], even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [the cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

The Doctrine Of Demon Influence, Part 2. Cosmic System Is Satan’s Classroom For Demon Influence.
The Doctrine of Demon Influence.
Point 1. Definition.
1. Demon influence is demonization of the soul and personality of the believer or unbeliever living in the cosmic system.
2. Demon influence is thought transference of demon doctrine to the believer or unbeliever in the cosmic system.
3. Demon influence is the invasion of the soul, especially the mind, emotion, and self consciousness of the soul.
4. Demon influence isn’t expressed in terms of evil, but in terms of improving this world, doing nice things for your fellow man, and supporting crusades.
5. Demon influence is the invasion of the soul with thought that is false thinking.
6. Demon influence is the policy and principles by which Satan operated prior to the creation of man and afterwards as the ruler of this world.
Prior to the creation of man, Satan operated under the principle of legalism and self-righteousness which we have called creature credit.
At the time of Adam’s fall, Satan operated under the policy of being antagonistic toward grace and promoting religion with operation fig-leaves.
“Let us cover ourselves with fig leaves” was perhaps one of the many things that were said.
They were willing to give up that which they enjoyed the most with each other and cover the apparatus that gave them the power to do so which is to enjoy sexual recreation.
The unbeliever is protected from both demon influence and demon possession by the laws of divine establishment.
The believer is protected from demon influence by Bible doctrine only.
The greatest victims of demon influence are believers, a result of the genius plan of Satan to distract them from the PPOG.
Point 2. The Cosmic System is Satan’s Classroom for Demon Influence.
Cosmic one emphasizes preoccupation with self, having many categories of arrogance.
Cosmic two emphasizes antagonism toward the truth.
When the believer gets outside of the operational will of God, he inevitably enters Cosmic One or Cosmic Two.
In cosmic one, the whole system of prehistoric sins, which are connected to arrogance become the issue in the life of the believer.
Isa 45:7 I am the One forming light and creating darkness, causing well being and creating evil; I am the Lord who does all these.
Pr 16:4 The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil.
All Satan does is to take what God created for good and pervert it into his own system of thinking.
Cosmic one is living for yourself and only caring about yourself as Satan did in eternity past before human history.
The first sin committed in the universe was the sin of independence which Satan promoted in the prehistoric angelic conflict and is the same sin that he promotes when believers are involved in the cosmic system.
If the sins of arrogance are allowed to continue, it is inevitable that the believer in cosmic one will become an abnormal person.
The believer out of fellowship can commit either prehistoric or historic categories of sins.
Demon influenced believers show tremendous passion toward violence, especially in a psychotic state.
In cosmic one, you also are faced with rejection of doctrine because you’re preoccupied with yourself, which is an indirect rejection of doctrine.
People who are preoccupied with self, seeking pleasure and approbation for self, have no time for doctrine.
In cosmic two, negative volition toward doctrine is manifested by true rejection of the word of God due to antagonism toward doctrine.
One enters the cosmic system through an active or a passive decision from the free will.
Once inside the cosmic system, negative volition towards true doctrine creates a vacuum through which demon doctrine enters, Eph 4:17.
Futility or emptiness or vanity come from life and residence in the cosmic system.
Apostasy is, in effect, the degrees of demon influence of the believer in the Cosmic System.
This is why 1Co 2:5 says that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
In 1Co 2:5, the “wisdom of man” illustrates demon influence in the cosmic system through Greek culture and religion.
The quickest way to get into the cosmic system is to live in sin habitually, 1Jo 3:4 10.
We know this from the original Greek because the word “sins” is the present-active indicative of hamartano which means to practice sin or to sin habitually.
Remember what our Lord said in Jn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in me.
We are not talking about believers and unbelievers in this passage but those who abide in Christ verses those under demon influence.
“cannot sin” is a pres-act-inf which means he is not able to continue to live in sin.
Just as the devil invented the cosmic system, so he also invented sin.
Through psychological living instead of spiritual living, the believer all too often continues the lifestyle of spiritual death by living in Satan’s cosmic system.
All spiritual living occurs inside the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] not in Satan’s cosmic system.
All spiritual living is under the omnipotence of the Holy Spirit, not in Satan’s cosmic system.
All spiritual living in the PPOG is called the Filling of the Spirit that is Functioning in the PPOG and is called walking by means of the Spirit, that’s not in Satan’s cosmic system.
Therefore, we have a warning to Church-age believers not to superimpose the life of spiritual death on the Christian way of life in 1Jo 2:15 16.
1Jo 2:15 “Stop loving the world or the cosmic system or nor the things in the cosmic system. If anyone keeps loving the cosmic system [cosmic one and two], the love of the not in Satan’s cosmic system.
1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the cosmic system, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the arrogant pattern of life, is not from the Father but is from the cosmic system.”
Loving the cosmic system means demon influence of your motivation, of your thought pattern, of your decision making, and of your action.
The love of the Father refers to virtue-love, one of the highest problem-solving devices in the Christian life.
The lust of the flesh is the Old Sin Nature seeking to control the soul.
The lust of the eyes is motivational evil in cosmic one.
The arrogant pattern of life is the functional evil in cosmic one.
As the leader of all fallen angels and as the ruler of planet earth, Satan has been able to compile a cosmic system which is a mass of thoughts, opinions, speculations.
All these systems of false doctrines, panaceas, plans, categories for deceit, policies, and objectives by which Satan seeks to control the world which he rules.
Demon influence takes place in believers when Satan uses his demons to influence believers, especially those who are positive toward doctrine.
Although Satan is the ruler of this world, he does not necessarily control the people of this world; that depends upon individual volition.
Here’s some questions you should have if you want to know why demons exist, where did they come from and how come they don’t have bodies like the fallen angels.
Where did demons come from?
How come they don’t have bodies like the fallen angels?
Why do demons look for a body to dwell in such as the pigs in Mark 5?
Why did demons dwell a man from the tombs with a demonic spirit that was able to bind the man and no one was strong enough to subdue him? (Mk 1:1-5)
Why did demons run up to our Lord and bowed down before Him? (Mk 5:6).
Why did demons, because there were at least 6,000 to 144,000 called a legion according to many scholars, why did they beg Jesus, the Son of the Most High God not to torment them?” (Mk 5:7-8).
How many demons dwelt inside the man? (Mk 5:9.
Why Did the demons beg our Lord to send them to dwell inside of the pigs that were present and not the Abyss? (Mk 5:12-13).
In cosmic one, Satan has provided a communion table to complement real spiritual death and he uses demon influence to do so.
1Co 10:21, “you cannot drink the cup of the lord and at the same time the cup of demons.”
The believer who is out of fellowship, out of the PPOG, is under demon influence, drinking from the “cup of the demons.”
“you cannot partake of the table of the Lord [eucharist] and the table of demons.”
In cosmic two, Satan’s false doctrine results in the human viewpoint of life, which resents Bible doctrine along with the resenting the communicator and then the communication.
As 1Ti 4:1-2 states that “the Spirit [God the Holy Spirit] explicitly communicates that in latter periods of time [Church-age, tribulation], some believers will fall away from doctrine, giving attention to deceitful spirits, even doctrines from demons [demon influence].
1Ti 4:2 by means of hypocrisy of liars, they are seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron.”
Telepathy is apparent communication from one mind to another by extrasensory means.
“False doctrine” here means a system of teaching which is transferred to anyone who resides in the cosmic system.
Believers believe liars because of their facade of sweet and pleasing words, and the warmth of their personality.
In psychological living, you are so preoccupied with yourself that you assume that any speaker who pleases you, stimulates you, and warms you must be telling you the truth.
Demon influence destroys the norms and standards of truth.
When a believer or unbeliever remains in the cosmic system long enough, all his norms and standards related to truth are gone, seared, and burnt.
Living in Satan’s cosmic system as a believer includes two potential categories of lifestyle.
1. Demon influence.
2. Psychological living.
The believer cannot be demon possessed because his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who indwells him.
Point 3. The Distinction Between Demon Influence and Demon Possession.
In demon possession, the body of the unbeliever is indwelt by a demon or a group of demons, resulting in normal or abnormal living.
The laws of divine establishment protect the unbeliever from demon possession which is prevalent in countries where there is no establishment as Africa, India, South America, and the Indian tribes of North America.
Demon possession is defined as demon invasion of the body of the unbeliever only.
In contrast, demon influence is the demon invasion of the soul of both the believer and unbeliever with satanic and demonic thought.
Satanic thought isn’t expressed in terms of evil, but in terms of improving this world, doing nice things for your fellow man and supporting crusades.
All demonic activity is related to man’s free will; human consent must be involved.
Demon possession never occurs apart from human consent whereby some form of bad decision is made, so that the demon can invade the body of the unbeliever only.
The believer is indwelt by God the Holy Spirit who makes a temple out of the body of the believer, 1Co 6:19 20, therefore a demon cannot indwell that temple.
Decisions that result in demon possession include:
1. Idolatry, 1Co 10:19 21.
2. Drug addiction, Gal 5:20.
3. Religious apostasy, Isa 8:19.
4. Phallic cult activity, Isa 2:6.
This is what happens when you dabble in the occult, consulting mediums, functioning of necromancy, which is sex with a dead corpse; Isa 8:19.
Isa 8:19 And when they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? {Should they} {consult} the dead on behalf of the living?
Idolatry is the basic system for demon possession, as taught in Lev 17:7; Dt 32:17.
Lev 17:7 “And they shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations.”
Dt 32:17 “They sacrificed to demons who were not God, To gods whom they have not known, New gods who came lately, Whom your fathers did not dread.”
By way of contrast demon influence is the infiltration of satanic thought into the soul of a believer or unbeliever or the substitution of emotion for thought.
Satan uses certain demons to produce disease in human beings, Mat 12:22; Lk 13:16; Ac 10:38.
Lk 13:16 “And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?”
Mat 12:22 Then there was brought to Him a demon possessed man who was blind and dumb, and He healed him, so that the dumb man spoke and saw.
Demon influence attacks the body through demon induced illness.
Point 4. Mandates against Demon Influence; Eph 4:27; Jm 4:6 8.
Eph 4:27 and do not give the devil an opportunity or the Greek word says don’t give a topos which is a room in your soul for demonic influence.
Volition is our first line of defense in two categories.
Either by rejecting the temptation signals from the old sin nature coming into the soul or once in the cosmic system, to name one’s sins through rebound and escape the cosmic system by recovery.
Otherwise, the believer will become demonized and becomes “an enemy of the cross,” ; Php 3:18.
Jm 4:8 gives the command to have doctrine in the right lobe as the offensive action against demon influence.
Being “double-minded” means to have some true doctrine while in the PPOG plus having some doctrine of demons also stored in the right lobe.
Purifying the right lobe is only possible through consistent, daily perception of Bible doctrine.
Point 5. Demon Influence is Relative.
The degrees of demon influence correspond to the degrees of apostasy.
The longer one resides in the cosmic system without rebound and recovery, the greater the degree of demon influence.
The cosmic system does not distinguish between its students, and is equally effective with both categories, believer, and unbeliever.
Demon influence is a process of demonization in which every facet of the soul is eventually controlled by demonic doctrines.
Sociopathic means that the individual has a personality that is aggressively antisocial.
Psychopathic means that the individual is characterized by emotional instability, lack of sound judgment and perverse and impulsive behavior.
Point 6. The False Doctrine of Demon Influence.
Prin- Achievement belongs to God;
Happiness belongs to the believer.
Demon influence reverses this principle and says “achievement belongs to me; therefore, I will be happy as long as I live.”
“being self disciplined” means being organized.
Your organization starts in your thinking first; that requires categorical teaching of doctrine.
Self discipline is important to remain in the PPOG.
There is also a parallel between our Lord delegating authority in the human race, and Satan “prowling around” and delegating authority to disembodied spirits that we call demons.
“jealousy” qualifies for both cosmic one and cosmic two.
Achievement arrogance is the blasphemy of taking achievement away from God and placing it in your own hands.
Arrogance motivates to strive for success and to compete from inordinate ambition.
In this process, Bible doctrine is neglected, virtue is ignored, happiness is rejected, and demon influence becomes the order of the day.
Arrogance is the direct route to demon influence; it is the demoralization as well as the demonization of the soul.
Point 7. The Avoidance of Demon Influence.
Demon influence can only be avoided through life in the PPOG for the believer.
Therefore, there are four R’s in spiritual metabolism.
1. Reception.
2. Retention.
3. Recall.
4. Resistance.
What really counts is retention, which is gnosis doctrine converted into epignosis doctrine.
Then, at recall, you can apply any percentage of what you retained.
To resist demonization, you must have the first three steps, perception, metabolization, and retention.
1Pe 5:9 but resist him, by being firm in doctrine, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.
The Canaanitish nations were destroyed for demon activity, Dt 18:9-12. One of the signs of a nation going into the fifth cycle of discipline is the revival of demonism in that nation.
The practice of necromancy is a sign of negative volition toward doctrine and it can result in the sin unto death as in the case of 1Ch 10:13-14.
Demonism can eventuate in the fifth cycle of discipline, Isa 29:4; 47:1-15.
Nebuchadnezzar going to Jerusalem on the basis of divination, Eze 21:21.
Eze 21:21 “For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination; he shakes the arrows, he consults the household idols, he looks at the liver.
The third attack of avoiding demon influence has to do with hallucination called visions here, “intruding into those things which he has not seen.”
“taken his stand is really “intruding on his stand because we have the present active participle of embateuo (em-bat-yoo’-o) which means to relate what one has seen in a vision and to take a stand on what one has seen under ecstatics.
“into those things which” is simply a warning gainst dreams, visions, trances, hallucinations from ectatics.
He says that what you dream, what you have in a trance, what you see when you get ecstatic, is just as real or more real than what the Bible says.
It is an attack upon the authority of the Word of God.
It emphasises that feelings and ecstatic experience as having merit because how you feel is more important than what the Bible says.
The phrase inflated without cause by his fleshly mindis a present passive participle of phusioo which means “being inflated with arrogance.”
