Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Hidden Mysteries – Jesus Christ is the Lamb Who was slain before the foundation of the earth.

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.

Rev 13:8 = Jesus Christ was the lamb “of God or from God” who was slain before the foundation of the world.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

No matter what a day may bring, whether adversity or prosperity, there’s a divine purpose for it.

“What is the Christian’s purpose on this earth?”
“What is the Christian’s desire on the earth?”
“What is the Christian’s motivation on this earth?”

Knowing everything as He does, the Lord has provided, from His omnipotence, a divine solution for every problem.

That divine solution can only be discovered when the believer is living in the pre-designed plan of God and their very own personal sense of destiny.

This plan was designed specifically from His omniscience which knew every solution for every problem that you would ever face as He thought all about you.

The Lord provided clear evidence of His deity and His humanity in eternity past when He demonstrated that He has everything under His control.

Peter says this Man, was delivered up by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God which really means that our Lord chose to die for us.

It was not forced upon Him, He chose to die and by dying I refer to the spiritual death or the separation from God that He went through for you and for me; Matt 27:46.

None of us can truly understand the separation that came about between the perfect Son of God and the holiness of God the Father when for the first and only time ever, the Son was separated from the Father.

Our Lord relied upon the supernatural power of God the Holy Spirit to get Him through a time of suffering that no one has ever gone through before.

Some of the greatest problems that we will ever face has been ordained by God for us to go through these situations with the motivation being “our love” to and for God.

Knowing the fact that God has omniscience is very comforting to the believer who truly loves God.

Three encouraging principles concerning the knowledge of God.

1. The Omniscience of God that tells us that we were known in the mind of God in eternity past.

Not only did Peter and John speak their mind about the word of God but they also knew how to “rest their mind” which I call how to rest in your Relaxed Mental Attitude.

2. The Foreknowledge of God that tells us that God knows the future, the actual and the probable.

The Lord knew beforehand that all of us were not only in the mind of God in eternity past but also in the plan of God from eternity past.

3. The doctrine of Predestination which tells us that we were in the plan of God in eternity past.

Very few believers ever prepare for coming disaster because in times of prosperity they think it’s going to last forever.

Proverbs 8 = a personification of Bible doctrine, and its implication to our lives.

Wisdom is being called “her” or “she” and therefore we call this wisdom, which is really metabolized doctrine, her or she.

Right away I want you to see why is wisdom called she or her, etc.

The female part of God and the ministry of God the Holy Spirit is a responder.

Though the roles may change from time to time, the man is called and known to be the initiator because he is usually and normally the aggressor in the male female relationship.

Psychology has recently reported that a healthy male and female relationship is based upon the roles of those involved.

There are times when role reversal is healthy, when the female is the initiator or the aggressor and the male is the responder, but that is not the norm or standard.

In the first 11 verses we have the principle of communication of Bible doctrine, that’s the first paragraph.

Wisdom is chokmah and it means metabolized doctrine.

Receiving knowledge or understanding doctrine gives you a voice, it gives you an impact.

Wisdom is being personified.

Wisdom is differentiated from the person of TLJC, although in reality the two are inseparable.

Wisdom is differentiated from TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ].

Wisdom – chokmah in the feminine = it refers to Bible doctrine which has been metabolized in an individual’s life.

Qal future of qara — to proclaim, to read, to call, to preach. In the Qal future it means that wisdom or doctrine will always proclaim, read and call.

Qara also means to declare and announce freedom to those who are in slavery and bondage.

Truth doesn’t set every believer free because although truth is calling out, very few believers “know it.”

Understanding – tebunah – discernment – refers to the object of knowledge after one gets the understanding of knowledge.

“Understanding” lifts up her voice, it has to do with the red alert system in the soul that causes believers to know that something is not as it appears.

Lift up is the Qal future of the Hebrew verb nathan which means to put forth, bring forth, or to give something.

Heb 5:14 but solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

Only the believer with doctrine resident in the soul will ever have the ability to discern a situation properly.

Wisdom or metabolized doctrine is in easy to find places as of now.

Amo 8:11 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.

Amo 8:12 “And people will stagger from sea to sea, And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, But they will not find {it.}

Doctrine is in the feminine gender so we have She doctrine takes her stand.

Stand natsab means to take one’s stand, to recompense, to restore.

Natsab also means to set over, to establish, to station, to post, to garrison, to guard as an army.

Wisdom or doctrine will set over the believer and establish the believer in the devil’s world.

Cries out is the Hebrew verb ranan meaning to shout for joy or happiness.

Always in the gateway in the ancient world there was an auditorium that served as a newsroom to let people know what was going on.

Chakmah = a technical meaning which means to have technical understanding.

A fool is someone who thinks that they know so much and they know so little.

People who are guilty of moral degeneracy rarely recognize what fools they are.

We have to learn doctrine and understand doctrine to discover what our area of foolishness actually is.

Naive – pethi – silly ones, stupid ones. It means those who are open to deception and enticement because of ignorance.

Prov 14:15 The naive believes everything, but the prudent man considers his steps.

Pethiy is a word for fool which describes people who are easily persuaded by flattery, delusion, deception and enticement.

Discern – bin – understand, consider, perceive.

This word actually brings out the fact that a person can hear without perceiving.

It refers to knowledge which is superior to the mere gathering of data and therefore we could say it refers to knowledge being converted to wisdom or gnosis to epignosis.

In verse 6 the first word that comes up is the Qal imperative of the verb shama = a command.

Shall speak -piel future of dabar = to speak in an intensive way. Dabar means to speak, to declare, to command, to promise, to warn, to threaten and to sing.

Noble things – nagid – means high things, or excellent things.
It refers to things which were previously unknown to the hearers.

Wickedness – resha – doesn’t mean sin but it means anything that is opposite of the character of God.

The word wickedness is used in the book of Proverbs as that which is against and opposite of the righteousness of God.

Abomination – toebah -detestable, loathsome, horrible.

Bible doctrine is righteous and your means of living in the righteousness of God.

Doctrine is built upon doctrine, knowledge is built upon knowledge.

Take — Qal imperative of laqach which means to seize with power and enthusiasm, or with interest and strong motivation.

What are desirable things? Money, success, prosperity, pleasure, friends, loved ones, social life, sex, status symbols etc.

In the first 11 verses we have the principle of communication of Bible doctrine, that’s the first paragraph.

The word for prudence is armah which means the ability to regulate and discipline your own life. To have caution and sensibility.

find – matsa – to present, to deliver, possess.

Knowledge- daath – skill, knowledge, truth.

Discretion – mezimmah – purpose, evil devices or we could say, false doctrine.

1. It will give you a purpose in life, such as a personal sense of destiny.

2. It will serve as a red-alert system to protect you from the influence of evil.

Mizimmah also means a plot. Because Eph 6:12 is a reality, we all need to be protected from the plots of the evil one.
