Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Ninth commandment really covers basically the sins of the tongue with the emphasis on not bearing false witness against your neighbor.

Ninth commandment really covers basically the sins of the tongue with the emphasis on not bearing false witness against your neighbor.” = the concept of “your neighbor.”

1. “Your neighbor” does not refer to the person next door but to persons of the same national entity, and therefore, we translate the word “neighbor” to mean “fellow citizen.”

2. Secondly, “Your neighbor recognizes that the Mosaic law promotes nationalism and not internationalism which is really an attack upon freedom.

Love other nations with the same impersonal love you have for your neighbor.

Mark 12:31 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Any time you have a United Nations organization trying to pass or enforce laws, you are witnessing a concept forbidden by the Word of God and actively promoted by Satan.

Satan is always trying to take the blessings that God has blessed us with so that he can control us and take the credit for each blessing that God has designed for our blessing and happiness.

Jer 29:11 ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Psa 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.

Mal 3:10 “Put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Phil 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

Rom 5:8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Psa 35:27 Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the Lord, who delights in the PROSPERITY of His servant!”

Jer 31:3 The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Deut 8:18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Satan does that so that he can ultimately try and control us by the blessings the Lord has designed perfectly tailored from the Lord to members of the human race, both believer and unbeliever.

We are told that things are for our blessing when in reality they are designed to enslave us.

A perfect illustration of this is found in the work place with unions are used to hinder or stop believers from doing their job as unto the Lord.

Col 3:23-24, Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.

Ecc 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, verily, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

You cannot slow down your productivity on your job and at the same time fulfill passages that tell you “whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might.”

You are not to do your job unto people but unto the Lord.

After making many statements the apostle Paul begins to give a breakdown of the establishment principles with honor and integrity in all the areas of life that the Lord originally designed for blessing.

1. D.I. [divine institution] #2 marriage – one of the main problems within the marriage which is lack of submission and respect — Col 3:18 Wives, be subject to or submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

2. The husband must not become bitter in the marriage but instead Col 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be embittered against them.

3. Third, even the children are told in Col 3:20 Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

4. Four, the parents are addressed in Col 3:21 Fathers, do not exasperate your children, that they may not lose heart.

5. Christian employees motivation = Col 3:22 Slaves [employees], in all things obey those who are your masters [employers] on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, respecting the Lord.

If there is any commandment that really does harm or puts the believers “in harm’s way” it is commandment #9, Exo 20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

After dealing with all these establishment principles, the apostle Paul then talks about our spiritual warfare beginning with Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.

The sins of the tongue can destroy any of those establishment principles through becoming a false witness and lying about those involved with fulfilling the Divine establishment principles.

This is why our Lord said that there are six things that He hates and there is a seventh principle that is called an abomination; Prov 6:12-19.

“bearing false witness, lying, gossip, maligning, sowing discord, etc. have destroyed many of those areas I mentioned so far.”

Satan also uses the lies and deceptions to promote internationalism whereas God has ordained the principle of national entities for the protection of human freedom (Acts 17:26).

Every nation must have its own laws with its jurisdiction limited to that national entity only.

Every nation should be indigenous just like every church or local assembly is to indigenous.

“Thou shalt not bear false witness” means “to answer as a false witness in a judicial function or “to give testimony under law.”

No nation can function without objectivity in law.

No nation can function without respect for the volition or the free will of its citizens.

No nation can function without respect for marriage.

No nation can function without respect for the family, the children and the parents.

No nation can function without respect for its citizens and nationalism.

The principle of objectivity in law demands that a person is innocent until proven guilty.

Many individuals have been labeled as guilty and not innocent!

Our subject now is that under Jewish Law, a person must be demonstrated guilty through proper laws of evidence furnished through accurate testimony in court not by hearsay.

Evidence is gathered through testimony, and that testimony must be proved.

Correct administration of law demands truthful evidence, and evidence demands truth upon which to make a judgment.

Literally, then, this commandment would read: “Thou shalt not answer (in a court of law) against your fellow citizens as a false witness.”

When Law is based on Biblical principles it does not encroach upon freedom; it preserves freedom.

Many of our laws today are an encroachment upon freedom and privacy rather than the protection of them, which again points out the intensity of the angelic conflict in our nation.

Although the ninth commandment, “You shall not bear false witness,” deals with Jewish Jurisprudence in the Mosaic law, this does not mean that this is the worse type of the sins of the tongue.

Interpretation = “Thou shalt not answer (in a court of law) against your fellow citizens as a false witness.”

Application = any of the sins of the tongue that inevitably result in destroying the individual even as far as going to court destroying his reputation and putting him in some kind of prison, whether natural or spiritual.

We are going to list some of the deceptions and lies that come from the kingdom of darkness to hinder believers from fulfilling the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] and his PSD [personal sense of destiny] by using the sins of the tongue to destroy.

Psa 34:22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants; And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Because they believe lies that come from Rev 12:10, from the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

Even though Satan attacks, Rom 14:22 says The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.

An individual who does so can actually be responsible for placing someone in prison because of bearing false witness.

Because under Jewish law, or according to the Bible, in a church court and in the Supreme court of heaven, there is what is known as the laws of evidence.

The laws of evidence demand investigation of each accusation based on two or three witnesses being interrogated independently and agreeing to their testimony.

The punishment for the rebellion of any Jew against the Mosaic Law is so severe for the crime committed that Jewish law demanded that there be at least two preferably three “eye witnesses” of the very same act the individual committed.

Deut 19:15 “A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.”

Even if one person rose up against another in Israel and accused someone of murder, it was not to be received as evidence.

Num 35:30 ‘If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death at the evidence of witnesses, but no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness.

Deut 17:6 “On the evidence of two witnesses or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness.

Emotional sins = fear, worry and anxiety. Sins related to hatred, which includes anger, violence, and murder. Sins related to self pity, and sins related to guilt.

2. MAS [mental attitude sins] include arrogance, pride, jealousy, implacability, bitterness, vindictiveness, inordinate ambition and inordinate competition, all motivational sins, and sinful thoughts.

3. Verbal sins. Verbal sins include gossip, maligning, slander, judging, lying, and verbal deception.

4. Overt sins. They include chemical sins, sexual sins, criminal sins.
