Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.
1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (
that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says,
“he who believes in Me [
Jesus Christ]
has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “
has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (
it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (
John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (
also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:
Our Pastor-Teacher is:
This ministry is non-denominational and is dedicated to
teaching the Word of God from the original languages and
making it available at no charge throughout the world.

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.
Sermon: Commandment 7. Designed for the Protection
of Marriage – “You shall not commit adultery.”
The Decalogue is the “Magna Carta of Human Freedom,” and as such includes certain prohibitions that must be recognized if freedom is to be preserved.
This particular commandment is for the protection of the privacy and the freedom of the relationship between the right man and the right woman.
Divine Institution #3, Family, is protected by the commandment, “Honour thy father and thy mother.”
Divine Institution #1, Volition, or individual freedom, is protected by the commandment, “Thou shalt not murder.”
Divine Institution #2, Marriage, which is protected by the seventh commandment, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
The seventh commandment has been given to protect every right man and right woman, even before they meet, and to protect their relationship after they marry.
Phallic worship refers to the reproductive powers of nature as symbolized by the male generative organ.
Phallic symbols have been found by archaeological expeditions all over the world, and they are usually interpreted as an expression of the human desire for sex.
The Phallic cult is still around, however, it has many different facades, found in the arts, music, literature, through-out the web, etc.
Ritual reversionism = religious
Monetary reversionism = love of money
Phallic reversionism = sexual lust
The first four verses talk about our position with or in Christ and our future with Him, Col 1:1-4.
Col 1:5-17 deals with the objective of phase two or your life as a believer in this world.
“the members” is the definite article “ta” plus the accusative plural, the noun “mele” which refers to the parts of the human body.
Point 1. All believers are commanded to present their “physical body” as a sacrifice unto God, Rom 12:1-2.
Notice that the “presentation” of your earthly body is said to be your spiritual service of worship.
Point 2. We are commanded to present our bodies a living sacrifice because our physical body actually “belongs” to the Lord, 1Co 6:12-20.
We are not free to become slaves to the cravings of the physical body.
Point 3. The beginning of presenting your earthly body is rebound, Heb 10:22.
The bodies being washed with pure water is a reference to rebound cleansing us from all unrighteousness and qualifying us for spiritual worship.
Point 4. The body must be presented unto God through the filling of the Holy Spirit or else there is no glorification of God, 1Co 13:3.
1Co 13:3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love [virtue love – filling of the Spirit], it profits me nothing.
Point 5. The power of the Holy Spirit gives life and energy to the physical body for the purpose of glorifying God, Rom 8:11.
Point 6. The physical body of the believer is effected and influenced by the eye of the believer or the perception of the soul.
Matt 6:22 “The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.
Matt 6:23 “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
There is a direct relationship between your soul perception and the presentation of your entire body.
Point 7. Once doctrinal soul perception takes place, the believer must make his physical body “his slave” rather than becoming a slave to the lusts of the body.
Prin-Without making your body a slave to the new nature, your body will become a slave to the old sin nature.
You have “not” discovered what it means to be free from your Christian obligations and free from the O.S.N. [old sin nature]
Point 8. The believer is commanded to present the “members” of his physical body, such as the eyes, ears, hands, feet, etc. as instruments for God to use.
Freedom does not mean irresponsibility, no commitment, dedication and devotion…….freedom means the opportunity to become a slave or servant to God.
It is only as we control the different members or parts of our human body that we begin to live in the PPOG and receive God’s highest and best for our life.
Point 9. Our human body should reflect the brand-marks of being a Christian. Gal 6:17, From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand marks of Jesus.
Point 10. The physical body must be set apart for God, 1Th 5:23.
Point 11. Asceticism and strict denial of the physical body as a form of spirituality is prohibited in the scripture, Col 2:20-23.
Point 12. The ultimate control of over the physical body is revealed by the control the believer has over the tongue, James 3:2-10.
Point 13. The exaltation of Christ in our body is the mark of spiritual maturity, Phil 1:20.
Phil 1:20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I shall not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ shall even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Point 14. What we do in our earthly bodies will determine our eternal rewards, 2Co 5:10.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
God has given you talent in that human body, and what are you doing with what God has given you?
God has given you a spiritual gift in that human body, what have you been doing with that spiritual gift?
If you are not presenting the members of your body to God, who are you presenting the members of your body to?
