Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Dispensation of the Mosaic Law. The Fifth Commandment;
Honor Your Father and Mother: Respect for Authority.

We have now begun a study on the Fifth Commandment — Honor Your Father and Mother or Respect for Authority, Exo 20:12.

The first one under the first mention principle is found in Gen 2:24 where Moses quoted the verse for the first time. “For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.”

The apostle Paul quoted this verse in Eph 5:31 For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.

The apostle Peter taught this verse and passage and principles in MAR 10:6-8; “But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh; consequently they are no longer two, but one flesh.”

This is also what the apostle Paul meant when he said in Eph 4:3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

The Greek word musterion is a reference to the secrets of ancient mystery cults that the apostle Paul used in a technical, theological language to indicate and point to Church-age doctrine which was totally unknown in Old Testament times.

Only those who were initiated into the fraternity knew the mystery doctrines or their secrets behind the fraternity.

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.”

So, mystery means something that can only be understood by those who are in the fraternity, which under the concept of analogy refers to every believer in Jesus Christ who has been secretly initiated.

In Rom 16:25-26, this mystery is called the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets,

In 1Co 2:7, it is the mystery which is called God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory;

This mystery in 1Co 4:1, Paul says Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

In Eph 3:9, Paul says that he was to bring to light what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;

And that in Col 1:26, it is the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations; but has now been manifested to His saints.

The mystery goes back to the Garden of Eden and the principle of what the first Adam lost in the Garden at the fall and what the last Adam, TLJC, restored and how it relates to the angelic conflict.

Adam possessed the +R of God, he was the object of God’s love, he had a measure of God’s power and was taught Bible doctrine as he was placed in a perfect environment.

Because the same power that raised TLJC from the dead is the same power we are to live with on a habitual basis.

We have the same power as our Lord in John 10:17-18; “For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

John 10:18 “No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

In 1Co 4:19-20, But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant, but their power. For the kingdom of God does not consist in words, but in power.

1Co 6:14 Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.

Now, one of the many blessings that we have because of the cross is that our Lord not only restored all that Adam lost in the Garden of Eden but how He modified and improved it even more.

This means that our lord gave more to Adam after the fall then he had before the fall.

The absolute righteousness that the first Adam lost, is now duplicated and imputed in the spiritual realm to the believer in the Church-age who receives a double righteousness under the principle of a double portion, and he will remain in that state of perfection forever and ever, Rev 22:11.

a. The baptism of the Spirit;

b. The PPOG [predesigned plan of God];

c. A phenomenal portfolio of invisible assets;

d. EP + EO;

e. Royal priesthood and royal ambassadorship.

f. Unique mystery doctrines of the Church Age.

g. Trinity indwells every believer.

h. Unique availability of divine power.

i. No prophecies to be fulfilled.

j. Invisible heroes created.

And all of us who place other things in life above doctrine in our false scale of values are losing out on all the equal privilege and equal opportunity God has provided for you in time to advance spiritually.

But for some believers it is ‘I have bought a piece of land and I need to go out and look at it; please consider me excused.’

Luke 14:19 “And another one said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.’ Luke “And another one said, ‘I have married a wife, and for that reason I cannot come.’ The Latin phrase, SIC TRANSIT GLORIA MUNDI, means “The glory of this world passes away.”

The perfect environment in the Garden of Eden that the first Adam lost, is now duplicated in the spiritual realm in the PPOG for the Church-age but will be consummated in the eternal state with perfect environment for all of eternity, Rev 21:1-4.

The original design of marriage that the first Adam lost, can now be experienced in the spiritual realm for two believers in the Church-age and becomes analogous to the eternal marriage between TLJC and His bride for all of eternity, Rev 21:9.

The laws of evidence are found in passages like Deut 19:15 “A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed.

In Matt 18:16 “But if he does not listen {to you,} take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed.

Paul said in 2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. Every fact is to be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

The laws of evidence as they are found throughout the Bible say, that there must always be two or more witnesses in any trial.

And then the witnesses, two or more, must be interrogated separately and their testimony must agree, under separate interrogation.

TLJC was interrogated separately, Matt 4:1-11, Luk 4:1-13.

Matt 4:1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

The invisible heroes of the Church-age will be interrogated separately, Phil 1:29, 2Ti 3:12.

Phil 1:29 Because to you it has been graciously given with reference concerning Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on behalf of Him,

The laws of evidence as they are found throughout the Bible say, that there must always be two or more witnesses in any trial.

And then the witnesses, two or more, must be interrogated separately and their testimony must agree, under separate interrogation.

In correlation with Jewish Jurisprudence, when it comes to the angelic conflict, there are three witnesses in the Church-age, TLJC, the invisible hero (individual believer) and the third and final witness given but not necessarily needed, Christian marriage.

And just like TLJC and the winner believer is tested and interrogated separately, so marriage will be tested and interrogated separately as well.

Now, remember the Bible does not say there has to be three witnesses. It says, there must be at least two.

You don’t need a third witness but the Lord allowed the third witness to be brought in any way to give credibility to the false accusations.

Now, what you need to concentrate upon in this series is not marriage but you personally preparing yourself to become an invisible hero and letting God handle the rest.

Remember Psa 119:165 “Happy are those who do not get offended, who let the Law guide them and direct them.”

Gal 4:16 Have I therefore become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Do you believe 1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us.

For the invisible hero of the Church-age is the second most important witness in the appeal trial of Satan not Christian marriage.

In privacy, they love, touch and have intercourse of the soul and body.
In public, they don’t have to prove a thing to anyone.

And silly husbands usually respond to this but not Baal’s.
