Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: Dispensation of the Mosaic Law.
The Fourth Commandment:
The Secrets behind the Sabbath.

The Place of the Creation of Both Man and the Woman.

There are more important principles on their way to come, but in 6 days God took the earth, which was a mess from the ruler-ship of Satan, now the earth was under ICE and the Lord restored and converted it into a wonderful place to live.

He created the world and as Deut 32:4 says “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

THIS IS WHY THE LORD WAS ABOUT TO BE BROUGHT FORWARD, RESTORED.

He created the world, “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

From Gen 1:2 and the original language of the Bible, we can conclude that planet earth had been destroyed by the Arrogant Destroyer, Satan himself, whoever he is!

John 8:44 says “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.

Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Col 2:3-4, says “in Whom (Christ) are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this in order that no one may delude you with persuasive argument or religious argument.

Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.”

God blessed and made the day holy. Why? Because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

In 6 days He provided everything that man would need on the earth to survive and live in happiness = Perfect Food, perfect climate, a garden, He even provided a Bible class with the greatest Bible teacher of all time…the Lord God.

For those who do believe that God was finished with His creation, I would submit to you this question — Where is the man and the woman? Adam and Eve?

Please notice the word “completed” of “finished” because it has a tremendous relationship with the Sabbath and rest. The verb is kalah which means to end, to be finished, to complete, to be totally at rest.

Rested – Qal imperfect of shabath ie. Sabbath means to rest.

On the 7th day or on Saturday, God finished His work, in Gen 2:2. — why did He rest on the 7th day?

Gen 2:2 says…that He ended or finished His work. This is what we call “Sabbath” or the “Rest of Grace.” Everything that man would ever need was provided by God. So…He rested.

Do you believe that? Perfect environment was provided and nothing could be added to it!

This is what we call grace…God does the work and man does the benefitting and man does not earn or deserve or merit what God provides.

Gen 2:2 to Exo 16:23, no reference is made to the Sabbath. So you go at least from Gen 2:2 to Exo 16 which is approximately 1441 B.C. (3-4K)

a. Both the man and the woman were not yet created alive as of yet.

b. There is the problem of sin about to rear its ugly head in the human race.

c. There is the problem with creation itself after the fall of man.

The word for man which is Ish (individual man) – Ishshas – (individual woman)

Notice the word formed — it is the Hebrew verb jatsar = to form out of nothing.

Then notice the woman’s order and how God uses a different verb for the creation of the woman’s body—the Hebrew verb banah meaning to build. (Great verb for the woman’s body).

a) asah – to manufacture something out of something;
b) bara– to create something out of nothing;
c) jatsar – creation of male body;
d) banah – built – used for woman’s body;

Remember – Job 23:14 “For He performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him.

John 20:30 Many other signs therefore Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;

John 20:31 but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

The word for God in the Old Testament is Elohim when used it refers to all three members of the Trinity.

When the word Jare or Yare is used then it generally refers to one of the three members of the Trinity and it is generally translated Lord.

The New Testament has two different words for God = God = Theou
Lord= Kurious.

When the Bible says that God rested or called one day of the week Holy by revealing it to man, we need to understand that although God was finished with His finished work.;…….more was coming!

1. Creation of man

2. Creation of the woman

3. The Fall of man.

4. The Redemption of man

5. The conversations womanserpent

6. The conversation manwoman

Also the word “said” in the Hebrew is amar and is also used with members of godhead – subject manwoman, Ish, Ishshah.

We’re going to see at the SAME TIME Elohim (God) decided to create the man, they also decided to provide him a woman.

Every person (with a few exceptions) has someone by the grace of God that has been provided for them. The Principal – Man fulfills the woman, woman completes the man.

For a man it’s the right woman (vice versa).

man and right woman.

Found in all these passages and more – 1Co 6:13; Ecc 9:9; Gen 2:20 25; Eph 5:31; 1Co 7:1-5; Prov 5:1 23; Prov 18:2.

Therefore, when the Lord created man and woman with their free will, He knew we would face problems.

Problems are symptoms but the disease is the OSN [old sin nature] – ie. Human failure in life.

Now, what the Lord would say…..People who marry to find happiness never find it in marriage – they merely complicate their lives.

shas – (individual woman)
4 hebrew words – needed to understand!

1) asah – to manufacture something out of something
2) bara – to create something out of nothing
3) yatsar – creation of male body
4) banah – built – used for womans body

Now, in reproduction we pass down our OSN and physical traits of body but God gives life to the soul, (Gen 5:3).

Isa 57:16 “For I will not contend forever, Neither will I always be angry; For the spirit would grow faint before Me, And the soul breath of those whom I have made.

1. It also means to remain confident.

2. To trust under extreme pressure.

3. The most popular O.T. Hebrew word is the word nuwach -it means to settle down, (which is something many people need); To give comfort;
To be at rest from troubles and anxieties.

4. Loipoi, the most popular Greek word for rest means recreation and the remaining rest for the believer.

5. One Greek word I want to give you is anapauo = to cease from work in order to receive strength.

So, I am going to translate rest as the state of mind in which there is complete and total peace being free from worries, anxieties and fears.
that’s all part of the definition.

Point 2. Salvation Rest, Matt 11:28. Salvation is described in terms of rest, the rest of eternal life.

Point 3. Supergrace Rest.

The land of Canaan is a type of the supergrace life, and in the context of Heb 3:11, supergrace is manifest by faith rest.

For example, the maximum use of faith-rest with doctrine and the maximum application of doctrine from the heart or the right lobe of the soul.

Heb 3:11 as I swore in my wrath, ‘they shall not enter my rest.’”

Heb 4:1-3 (in Heb 4:3) we have what is known an elliptical oath which says that this rest was provided for the Jews in eternity past, yet their disobedience of unbelief will keep them out of it.

There is a temporal sabbath i.e., mentioned in Heb 3:11 and this is for all believers. This is the sabbath for the mature believer.

1. For instance, if you had saddled a horse on Friday, you could not remove the saddle if the horse was still saddled on the sabbath. On Saturday you couldn’t saddle or unsaddle a horse.

2. On Saturday you couldn’t cook anything.

3. If you have mud on your robe you were not allowed to clean it off.

4. You couldn’t stop anyone from bleeding on the Sabbath, you had to wait for Sunday.

The commandment said to remember grace.” The commandment was a ritual. It had to do with what you think.
