Hymn #2
Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.
1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (
that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says,
“he who believes in Me [
Jesus Christ]
has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “
has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (
it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (
John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (
also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:
Our Pastor-Teacher is:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.
Sermon: Dispensation of the Mosaic Law. The First and Second Commandment. Part 8. Doctrine of Idolatry.
Point 4. Idolatry also Distorts and Perverts the Divine Design of Sex. It motivates the human race to get involved in the whole realm of sexual sins as in the Phallic cult, Eze 22:1 16, 23:37 49.
That is all an idol really is —- a “DECEPTION,” A “LIE” or a “NOTHING” manifested by something or someone to blind believers from Isa 43:21; Rev 4:11.
His goal is to lead all believers astray BY DECEIVING THEM.
Deception is simply the infiltration of satanic thought which why Satan’s thoughts are called doctrines of demons, 1Ti 4:1.
It just isn’t expressed in terms of evil, but in terms of improving this world and doing nice things for your fellow man so that Satan can try to be like the “Most High,” (Isa 14:12-14).
Deception is the invasion of the soul with thought that is false thinking, i.e., the policy and principles by which Satan operated prior to the creation of man and afterwards as the ruler of this world.
Satan desires to promote sin and evil or to improve this world and try to make himself to be equal with God?
Here is where the alert pastor comes into the picture and reveals the spiritual and invisible purpose of “True Idolatry” which comes in by means of blinding and deceiving us from divine solutions.
For now we are deceived by looking at marriage, family, money, wealth, friends, social life, materialism, fame, fortune or power as a means of blessings and we forget the Blessor.
Psa 39:5 “Behold, Thou hast made my days as handbreadths, And my lifetime as nothing in Thy sight, Surely every man at his best is a mere breath. Selah.
Psa 96:5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.
Point 5. Idolatry and the influence of the Phallic Cult.
The Phallic cult came from the Phoenicians and includes immorality of all kinds, such as
Incest;
Fornication;
Homosexuality,
Bestiality, Lev 18:3-25;
Demonism, Lev 20:6;
Human sacrifice, Lev 20:1-5;
Rejection of authority, Lev 20:9;
Social degeneracy, Lev 20:10-23.
Consider = pres-act-imp of nekro – to render impotent certain members of your body. Believer’s take certain parts of their body and they use them either to glorify God or to fall away from God and become apostate or reversionistic.
“The members” refers to the different parts of the human body, which according to the word of God, should be offered to god and not to the cosmic system.
All believers are commanded to present their “physical body” as a sacrifice unto God, Rom 12:1.
Rom 12:1 I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
This means that a “part” of your worship toward God is the presentation of your physical body.
We are commanded to present our bodies a living sacrifice because our physical body actually “belongs” to the Lord, 1Co 6:12-20.
God, not just TLJC, but the Father and the Holy Spirit, are to be glorified, not just in our soul and spirit, but also in our human body.
The beginning of presenting your earthly body is rebound, Heb 10:22. Rebound is a means of presenting our bodies as clean vessels unto the Lord.
The bodies being washed with pure water is a reference to rebound cleansing us from all unrighteousness and qualifying us for spiritual worship.
The body must be presented unto God through the filling of the Holy Spirit or else there is no glorification of God, 1Co 13:3.
The power of the Holy Spirit gives life and energy to the physical body for the purpose of glorifying God, Rom 8:11.
Rom 8:11 but if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit who indwells you.
Matt 6:22 “The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.
Matt 6:23 “but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
There is a direct relationship between your soul perception and the presentation of your entire body.
Once doctrinal soul perception takes place, the believer must make his physical body “his slave” rather than becoming a slave to the needs of his body.
Prin-Without making your body a slave to the new nature, your body will become a slave to the old sin nature.
You have “not” discovered what it means to be free from your Christian obligations and free from the OSN [old sin nature].
The believer must make his physical body “his” slave rather than becoming a slave to the needs of the body.
The believer is commanded to present the “members” of his physical body, such as the eyes, ears, hands, feet, etc. as instruments for God to use.
Freedom does not mean irresponsibility, no commitment, dedication and devotion, freedom means the opportunity to become a slave or servant to God.
Our human body should reflect the brand-marks of being a Christian, Gal 6:17, From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand marks of Jesus.
Is there anything about us that marks us out as belonging to Christ and identifies us with Him?
The word “I” is emphatic in the Greek. Paul said, “I bear in my body the marks of Jesus.” Was he boasting? No, but in this letter, Paul was vindicating his ministry.
What is the proof of our attachment to Christ?
There should be some distinctive marks about our lives that identify us as Christians.
He had in mind a common custom of those days, namely, that of branding certain people with a hot searing iron.
Slaves were branded as a mark of ownership; they were also branded as a mark of shame, for if a man ran away and was recaptured his master would brand him as a mark of shame and disgrace.
Soldiers were branded as a mark of their allegiance to their generals, just as, at one time, soldiers would have the crest of their favorite general tattooed upon their arm.
The “brand-marks” identified him as the slave of Christ (Philemon 1:1); they were the marks of shame and reproach in the eyes of the world (1Co 9:22); they were the brand-marks of the soldier (2Ti 4:7); and they were marks of devotion and fidelity (2Co 5:14).
For the apostle Paul, they were the bodily scars and blemishes which he had received as the result of the persecution he suffered because of his faithfulness to the Lord Jesus.
1. A cluster of fruit (Galatians 5:22 , 23). These are the marks of the Lord Jesus, for He personified them all, and as we are united with Him by faith, these marks will characterize our life also.
2. A spirit of meekness (Gal 6:1).
3. A willingness to share the burdens of others (Gal 6:2).
4. A willingness to help support those who minister (Gal 6:6). Compare 1Co 9:7-15 and 1Ti 5:18.
5. A life made up of doing good” (Gal 6:9-10).
6. A complete separation from the world (Galatians 6:14.
7. A glorying in the Cross (Galatians 6:14).
The will of God was the consuming passion of His life (Luke 22:42), and it should be the consuming passion of your life and mine.
2Ti 4:6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.
2Ti 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
2Ti 4:8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
