Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).
1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.
John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]
Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV
Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:
Study to show yourself approved to God!

The sword of the Spirit manifested in the Life of Jesus Christ.
Meet the unholy trinity and traitor. Part 2.
Meet the unholy trinity and traitor. Part 2.
John 13:1, Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
In verse 2, we have some opposition to the Father’s plan from the chief opponent among the fallen angels and the greatest genius among creatures, the devil or Satan.
John 13:2, And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, {the son} of Simon, to betray Him,
This is really one of the beginning of noting the traitor at the last supper. Now, this is not Satan possessing the body of Judas as a temple at this time but influencing the thoughts of Judas by being under the control of his heart. The possessing of the body of Judas by Satan is found in verses 21-27.
John 13:21-27, When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me.’ The disciples {began} looking at one another, at a loss {to know} of which one He was speaking. There was reclining on Jesus’ breast one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore gestured to him, and said to him, ‘Tell {us} who it is of whom He is speaking.’ He, leaning back thus on Jesus’ breast, said to Him, ‘Lord, who is it?’ Jesus therefore answered, ‘That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him.’ So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, {the son} of Simon Iscariot. And after the morsel, Satan then entered into him. Jesus therefore said to him, ‘What you do, do quickly.’
Satan is a great counterfeiter and just like our Lord possesses our human body, so Satan desires to do the same, indwell the body of Judas Iscariot. As Christians, we are all acquainted with the Holy Trinity-The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. However, there is a Holy Trinity and an unholy trinity. When Satan is cast out of heaven, he will indwell and take full control of the antichrist. As God and Christ are one, John 10:30, so are Satan and the antichrist. The antichrist will only desire to do the will of Satan the father of all lies.
So, the first two members of the unholy Trinity are Satan and the antichrist which are analogous to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Then there is the false prophet who will complete the unholy Trinity, like the Holy Spirit, who compels men to Christ, the false prophets compels those of the earth to follow and worship the beast. So, there is the Holy Trinity and then the Unholy Trinity.
Satan represents the Father in unholy Trinity. John 8:44. The antichrist represents the counterfeit Christ. What is really interesting to note is that the Antichrist will have a partner that works with him in carrying out his diabolical plans. The Bible refers to this partner as The False Prophet. The False Prophet is a very interesting character in that not much information is provided about him. However, the Bible does tell us that the False Prophet will rise up in the end times or last days and play an important role in having mankind to worship the Antichrist. And so, just as the Holy Spirit is responsible for calling men to worship God, the False Prophet will be responsible for calling men to worship the Antichrist during the Tribulation period.
In the end times, as with so many other things, Satan will once again try to counterfeit the things God has declared that He will do. The ministry of the false prophet is really documented for us in Rev 13:11-18.
Rev 13:11, And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
This is actually one of Satan’s slave, a Jewish dictator of the nation Israel in the last half of the Tribulation, the time of the devil’s desperation.
Rev 13:12-18, And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. And there was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast might even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six.
This evil man, this dictator, really will be known to us as the false prophet performs extra-supernatural phenomena, miracles, and a lot of people are impressed. With unbelievers you would expect it; with believers you wonder why. Just because someone performs a miracle it doesn’t mean that it has anything to do with the truth.
The point is this passage really reveals the counterfeit ministry of the false prophet trying to play the role of the Holy Spirit. And the real power of the false prophet will be a mechanical high-tech system, a computer system which uses the number 666 to identify those who have followed Satan and the anti-Christ. And this computerized system will control the brains of humans so much so that the battle will be a computer versus your brain. Your brain is a computer, or should be. If you fill it up with doctrine it will compute. So you have a human computer versus a mechanical computer.
It’s interesting that 6 is the number of man in the Bible. However, the code number is 6 tripled, (666) which will try to deify of man through the cosmic system. Six tripled is simply the deifying of man. There are three members of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; each one has identical essence. Six represents man; 666 is the false trinity of man deified, again we see the counterfeit of Satan. We have the Unholy trinity, Satan, the antichrist, and the false prophecy, and the false trinity of man being deified as little gods with the tripling of man’s number – 666. It isn’t six hundred and sixty-six. This goes back to Satan’s approach to mankind in the garden of Eden was the appeal to the arrogance or deification of man when he said in Gen 3:5 ‘you will be like God,’ the deification of man, 666, ‘knowing good and evil.’
Gen 3:4-5, And the serpent said to the woman, ‘You surely shall not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’
So, the tripling of the number of man is 666, hence the deification of man in Satan’s cosmic system. The code number, 666 will lead to a memory bank where all followers of false religions are recorded plus all information concerning their personal life. The memory bank in the computer destroys both the privacy and the freedom of those who fall into this ecumenical system. Those people who are not in this memory bank of the computer are believers whose perception of doctrine has caused them to make a decision, and they reject this apostasy.
We read in Rev 13:17, and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Believers will not have the ID 666. For that they will be persecuted, excommunicated from society, some will starve to death, others will be tortured. However, many are going to survive and be preserved for the Millennial reign of Christ. This is a part of historical disaster in the time of the devil’s desperation which we call the tribulation period.
Nevertheless, in the worst of all historical disasters in history God will preserve many born-again believers right under the nose of the dictato. They will be preserved until the second advent to form the a population explosion of the Millennium. Now, so much then for the Unholy trinity and its mission.
The next principle we need to note concerning our main passage in John 13 is Judas, the traitor. So, let’s look at the profile of a traitor.
1. The traitor is usually someone close to you that has become so familiar with you that they believe that they’re more qualified to do what you are doing, Psa 41:9; Psa 55:12-14, 20-22. By familiar I mean taking undue liberties, knowing someone after the flesh or being presumptuous.
Psa 55:12-14, For it is not an enemy who reproaches me, Then I could bear {it}; Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me, Then I could hide myself from him. But it is you, a man my equal, My companion and my familiar friend. We who had sweet fellowship together, Walked in the house of God in the throng.
Psa 55:20-21, He has put forth his hands against those who were at peace with him; He has violated his covenant. His speech was smoother than butter, But his heart was war; His words were softer than oil, Yet they were drawn swords.
2. The traitor is usually someone who is bitter about their own personal failures and lack of being elevated. In other words, they are losers who are looking for excuses. They are the type of people who can easily be swayed. They are failures and losers who look for excuses of why they haven’t succeeded. Many times they are lazy people who will only rid themselves of their laziness because of ulterior motives. And, whenever people fail in life, they are easy targets for being used as traitors in conspiracies and revolts or deceptions.
3. Many times the traitor can have a good personality and even give the appearance that they are leaders. They will cater to people. They are power hungry. They are into approbation lust and power lust. And they will complement people and say what the people want to hear for the sake of gaining an advantage.
Jud 1:16, These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage.
4. The traitor can also be very sincere, very emotional, but most of all, very arrogant. They establish compatibility on the basis of personality. For example, notice the policy of Absalom, David’s son who would even betray his father, 2Sa 15:2, And Absalom used to rise early and stand beside the way to the gate; and it happened that when any man had a suit to come to the king for judgment, Absalom would call to him and say, ‘From what city are you?’ And he would say, ‘Your servant is from one of the tribes of Israel.’ Then Absalom would say to him, ‘See, your claims are good and right, but no man listens to you on the part of the king.’
‘You’ve got a strong case; but the king isn’t going to listen to you.’
2Sa 15:4-6, Moreover, Absalom would say, ‘Oh that one would appoint me judge in the land, then every man who has any suit or cause could come to me, and I would give him justice.’
And it happened that when a man came near to prostrate himself before him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him. And in this manner Absalom dealt with all Israel who came to the king for judgment; so Absalom stole away the hearts of the men of Israel.
Whenever someone would treat him with special honor, he’d shrug it off and treat him like an equal, making him feel important. Absalom did this to everyone who came to do business with the king and stole the hearts of everyone in Israel. Absalom was very sincere, very emotional, but most of all, very arrogant. Every Christian at some time will be attracted to a pleasing personality, whose function is manipulation, undermining of authority and exploitation for evil.
5. The traitor also likes to look for others who have an axe to grind against the one they are betraying. They find people who are jealous, vindictive, bitter or implacable to join them in their betrayal. Or they will start to hang around with those who are agree with their grievances or disagreements with the one in charge.
6. The traitor is usually jealous, covetous, envious and lustful of what the victim of their betrayal has.
And if the traitor is a believer, you will always hear the traitor claiming that the Lord is with him or on his side. And in some cases they will even claim that the Lord told them to do it.
John 16:1-3, ‘These things I have spoken to you, that you may be kept from stumbling. They will make you outcasts from the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God. And these things they will do, because they have not known the Father, or Me.
7. The traitor likes to get as many individuals involved in his betrayal as he can so that the betrayal will have some credibility and believability. In other words, once you get people involved with a betrayal through whatever means possible, like lying, gossip, judging, defamation of character, etc. You do four things:
– You give the betrayal some credibility and believability.
– You bully people into supporting something that is evil without them even knowing it. However, God the Holy Spirit will reveal to them the truth, through doctrine, if they desire.
– You put them in a position of supporting the betrayal, which is very difficult for them to get out of, unless, they make some drastic decisions.
– You cause them to get involved with the evil behind the betrayal which can be used in the future to keep them committed to the traitor as well.
8. The traitor is usually promised some form of personal promotion and prosperity for his betrayal. Either by someone else, or by his own false concept of self-elevation. Sometimes he will get others to do his dirty work while trying to appear that they are right and the innocent one who is a victim rather than a villain. Satan is good at doing that, using God’s people to attack God’s people.
Jdg 16:4, After this it came about that he [Samuel] loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.
Samson fell in live with this woman and personal love can make you very vulnerable and weak.
Jdg 16:5-6, And the lords or the tyrants of the Philistines came up to her, and said to her, ‘Entice him, [Seduce him] and see where his great strength lies and how we may overpower him that we may bind him to afflict him. Then we will each give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.’ So Delilah said to Samson, ‘Please tell me where your great strength is and how you may be bound to afflict you.’
That very question should have set off a red alert system in Samson but personal love can blind you. Sometimes when people get carried away with personal love they sanction all sorts of actions they would never have chanced or risked before. This was the type of love Samson fell for in Jud 16 with Delilah. It blinded him and eventually deceived him into losing all of his power with God. It destroyed Samson.
Jdg 16:7, And Samson said to her, ‘If they bind me with seven fresh cords that have not been dried, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.’
By the way, that was a lie!
Jdg 16:8-9, Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven fresh cords that had not been dried, and she bound him with them. Now she had men lying in wait in an inner room. And she said to him, ‘The Philistines are upon you, Samson!’ But he snapped the cords as a string of tow snaps when it touches fire. So, his strength was not discovered.
He snapped the cords as though they were mere threads. The secret of his strength was still a secret.
Jdg 16:10-16, Then Delilah said to Samson, ‘Behold, you have deceived me and told me lies; now please tell me, how you may be bound.’ And he said to her, ‘If they bind me tightly with new ropes which have not been used, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.’ So Delilah took new ropes and bound him with them and said to him, ‘The Philistines are upon you, Samson!’ For the men were lying in wait in the inner room. But he snapped the ropes from his arms like a thread. Then Delilah said to Samson, ‘Up to now you have deceived me and told me lies; tell me how you may be bound.’ And he said to her, ‘If you weave the seven locks of my hair with the web [and fasten it with a pin, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.’ So while he slept, Delilah took the seven locks of his hair and wove them into the web]. And she fastened it with the pin, and said to him, ‘The Philistines are upon you, Samson!’ But he awoke from his sleep and pulled out the pin of the loom and the web. Then she said to him, ‘How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have deceived me these three times and have not told me where your great strength is.’ And it came about when she pressed him daily with her words and urged him, that his soul was annoyed to death.
She kept at it day after day, nagging and tormenting him. Finally, he was fed up he couldn’t take another minute of it.
Jdg 16:17-19, So he told her all that was in his heart [that was a mistake – men, be careful, that may come back to haunt you, and said to her, ‘A razor has never come on my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me and I shall become weak and be like any other man.’ When Delilah saw that he had told her all that was in his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, ‘Come up once more, for he has told me all that is in his heart.’ Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her, and brought the money in their hands. And she made him sleep on her knees, and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his hair. Then she began to afflict him, and his strength left him.
Notice that she was a traitor who was promised some form of personal promotion and prosperity for her betrayal.
9. The traitor leads others in his betrayal with lies and inventions, corruption, distortion, inaccuracy, misrepresentation, perversion, defamation, and slander. They lead others into shifting the blame for their own misfortunes from themselves to the one who is being betrayed.
10. The traitor works behind the scenes for a long period of time and waits for something to reach it’s peek, and then it’s time to strike.
Jer 20:10, For I have heard the whispering of many, ‘Terror on every side! Denounce {him;} yes, let us denounce him!’ All my trusted friends, Watching for my fall, say: ‘Perhaps he will be deceived, so that we may prevail against him And take our revenge on him.’
