Hymn #1

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins].” NKJV (New King James Version)

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Dispensation of the Mosaic Law. The Conspiracy Continues.

His associates were Dathan and Abiram, and a man called “On” who later on, for whatever reason, ended up backing out…..so there were three major players in the conspiracy plus 250 princes.

Anyone who tried to duplicate this was to be executed.

The aroma represented the doctrine of propitiation and the fact that God the Father is satisfied with the perfect sacrifice of TLJC.

Eph 5:2 He gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

The point is that you had to have the authority to do all of this. Not only did you have to have the authority but you also had to know the rules.

By tomorrow morning there will be over 250 new fire pans, new censers, and you and all your company report to the front of the tabernacle.

Ark-of-the-coveanant

Moses says, “If you want to be priests and think that you can perform the function of the high priesthood, go ahead.”

Moses has complete confidence that whatever happens, the Lord would show who has been ordained to function in the tabernacle.

1.The Altar of Burnt Offering

2. The Laver

3. The Table of Showbread

4. The Lampstand

5. The Altar of Incense

6.The Ark of the Covenant

7. The Mercy Seat

The offering of incense inside this tabernacle is one of the holiest functions of the Levitical priesthood.

Censer

In our day and age, the communication of doctrine is one of the holiest functions of the priesthood.

a. That he has the gift of pastor-teacher

b. That he has prepared himself properly for the ministry.

c. That he communicates doctrine accurately and precisely.

d. That he refrains from criticizing and judging others.

e. That he rids himself from negativity.

Negative attitudes are destructive to the ministry and multiply like a cancer whereas unity is needed for the believer and the church to progress and go forward.

In Num 20:8, where the Lord told Moses to speak to the rock.

When Moses called the people rebels, in doing so, Moses misrepresented the character and nature of God.

Tabernacle

When the Lord created the world He did not create it by means of His justice and righteousness or else the world would eventually be destroyed because mankind would not be able to live up to the Holy commandments of God.

Nor did the Lord create the world based upon just His grace and mercy lest the world would self-destructive from its distorted lust without any laws to keep the human race in line

What the Lord did was to create the world by means of His justice and righteousness and His grace and mercy, thereby giving mankind what he needs to worship and honor the Lord without any fears.

The rock was to be struck once says 1Co 10:4; Heb 10:10, 14.

The Lord still honored his man in authority even though his man failed.

Rom 14:4 Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Rom 14:4 Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, if you judge him because the Lord will make him able to stand.

Let’s look at the doctrine of Christ the rock.

Point 1. Christ is the Rock of salvation; 1Co 3:11; Exo 17:1-7. 1Co 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Exo 17:6 “Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.”

Point 2. Christ is the Rock of perfection. Zec 3:9 For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Point 3. Christ is the rock of provision of logistical grace. Psa 144:1. (A Psalm of David.) Blessed be the Lord, my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;

Point 4. Christ, as the rock, is the foundation rock of Israel. Psa 118:22; Isa 28:16. Psa 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone.

Point 5. Christ is the foundation rock of the Church. Mat 16:18; Eph 2:20-22.

Mat 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it.

Eph 2:20 Having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone.

Point 6. Christ is the destroying Rock of the second advent. Dan 2:34-35.

Point 7. To the unbeliever, Christ is the rock of judgment. 1Pe 2:8. “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.
