Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word
Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.
1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins].” NKJV (New King James Version)
If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:
John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV
Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.
John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. What would be the role of the pivot before the Lord comes back and the Tribulation period begins.
America is truly a great country with its freedom of conscience, its freedom of the press, our free speech, and business enterprises as well as the protection it provides its citizens.
This richly blessed country according to the Bible may change drastically in the days just ahead, if it continues to pursue in the direction its going in towards apostasy and liberalism which inevitably will lead to heartache and woe for God’s people.
America could be one of the main nations involved in the end times forcing people to either worship something or someone or to be punished if they do not.
Will it be an ideology, a satanic viewpoint, a religion, a system of worship, or even a person?
It won’t be from God because it will be forced upon people and our God is a perfect gentleman and doesn’t force Himself upon others.
3. What does it mean when the prophecy in Rev 13:11 says that this new nation, even if it is America, will speak “as a dragon”?
The dragon is Satan, who works through various governments and different religions of the earth to establish his evil kingdom and to try and crush God’s church by persecuting and destroying His people.
For Satan’s aim always has been to usurp God’s power and throne and to force people to worship and obey him.
“I will ascend into heaven is a reference to the third heaven where God is, 2Co 12:2.”
“I will raise my throne or exalt my throne above the stars of God” refers to the angels in Job 38:7; Jud 13; Rev 12:3-4, stars are angels.
“I will sit on the mount of the assembly in the recesses of the north” refers to rulership over the government of the earth, Isa 2:1-4 as he desires Messianic recognition.
Clouds are used to represent the divine presence of God or His glory.
In spite of the universal impressions that Satan is “unlike God,” he is much like God outwardly!
2Co 11:13-15, are “such men who are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore, it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds.
In his unholy self-promotion, he determined that his abode should be higher than that position to which he had been appointed to by his Creator, which was the Messiah’s Cherub or the guardian angel of TLJC and the Throne of God.
Rev 4:11 “Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created.”
You need to live in the purpose of what you have been created for, —– and that is to bring glory to God, especially magnifying and revealing His justice and righteousness and His love in the midst of the angelic conflict.
Rom 1:25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
You and I have been created by God and made to love and to obey and to serve Him.
1Co 6:19-20, Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
2Co 5:15 and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
Matt 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Rom 6:19 Just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.
Rom 12:1 I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
There’s very little difference between Satan’s sin of independence and ours!
Isa 42:8 “I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.
Satan’s ambition is to be like Jehovah, the self-¬existent One, which no created being could ever be but to be like the Most High, which title signifies the “possessor of heaven and earth.”
The essential evil character of sin here, as everywhere, is an unwillingness on the part of the creature to abide in the precise position in which he has been placed by the Creator.
In the future during the Tribulation period, Satan’s ideal man, the man of sin, will declare himself to be God, sitting in the temple of God in 2Th 2:4.
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
He has no sense of loyalty or love or faithfulness to any member of the human race.
3. What does it mean when the prophecy in Rev 13:11 says that this new nation, even if it is America, will speak “as a dragon”?
Apostate religion and civil government will unite in the end time to force itself upon the people’s conscience.
A. “Exercises all the authority of the First Beast.”
Could America become a persecuting power that will force people to go against their conscience, as did papal Rome which is portrayed in the first half of Rev 13?
B. “He (a reference to the second beast), makes or Causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the First Beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
The United States could lead the nations of the world in forcing the worship of, and the allegiance to, the anti-Christ, the apostate church, of both pseudo Catholics and Protestants in the religious realm, and the revived Roman empire in the political realm.
The Bible, God’s word to man reveals that the Second Beast will be somewhat like the first beast, it will the church mixed with the state and apostate religion working with the political power of the day.
“I love all religions. … If people become better Hindus, better Muslims, better Buddhists by our acts of love, then there is something else growing there.”
“All is God — Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, etc., all have access to the same God.”
Chief among these principles is that Christ is the only means of salvation. In John 14:6 Jesus states, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
“These people are waiting to die. What are you telling them to prepare them for death and eternity?” She replied candidly, “We tell them to pray to their Bhagwan or Guru, to their gods.”
B. The second beast makes or causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the First Beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
He will bring in another Jesus, Spirit, Gospel, and doctrine…..but all lies mixed in with a little bit, and in some cases, a lot of, the truth.
The issue when it comes to God is always true worship. (John 4:23-24) — Who will you worship and obey?
All this may seem impossible, but Jesus’ words are always totally reliable and true, Tit 1:2.
He foretold the rise and fall of the four world empires and the Antichrist (Daniel chapters 2 and 7) at a time when such predictions seemed outlandish and incredible.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that Noah would build an ark to save those believers from the flood…….but he did.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that man would try and build a city to God and tower of Babel when nations would become divided and different languages would emerge, but it happened.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that God would bring in the ten plagues and part the Red Sea for the Jews to leave Egypt and go to the promise land but He did.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that Jesus would walk on water but it happened!
It seemed outlandish and incredible that Balaam would have a talking as or donkey who would correct him but he did.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that Jesus would feeds over Five Thousand with two fishes and loaves…..but He did.
It seemed outlandish and incredible that Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead…..but now you know the rest of the story. It seemed outlandish and incredible that Joshua would ask God to Stop the Sun, but he did ask and God obliged.
John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books which were written.
His warning to us today regarding prophecy is, “I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.”
John 14:29 “And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, you may believe.”
C. The third consideration and question we should have is what does the Bible mean when it says “The Beast will say to them who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the first beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
This action is a copy or image of the church-state combination that the papacy utilized at the height of her power during the Middle Ages, when millions were slain for their faith.
America will combine civil government and apostate Protestantism in a “marriage” that will support the new religion and the papacy, but most of all, the anti-Christ.
D. “And cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
This worldwide alliance will, in the name of Christ, substitute the policeman’s power for the Holy Spirit’s persuasion and will force worship.
