Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9 says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: The Eighth Commandment: Thou Shall not Steal.

We have now come to the eighth commandment in Exo 20:15 “You shall not steal.”

Lo’ tignob = “You shall not steal,” — stealing refers to anything that falls under the category of things that are natural or spiritual, including people.

Your life is protected; marriage is protected, and the family is protected, all by commandments in the Mosaic Law.

One of the main reasons for the Mosaic Law was to reveal to mankind what sin is all about.

Divine Institutions

1. Volition. (You are free to either accept or reject TLJC=The Lord Jesus Christ)
2. Marriage
3. Family
4. Nationalism

Divine institution #1 Volition = is that which protects your freedom when it says; “You shall not murder.” Exo 20:13.

Divine Institution #2, marriage – we are given all the doctrine necessary to protect those involved in the marriage; — Exo 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.”

Divine Institution #3 the family – protect those involved within the family unit; Exo 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.”

We have a command in our passage that deals with the stealing and violations of the property or materialism you own or possess in Exo 20:15 which says “You shall not steal.”

This commandment, “You shall not steal” is for the protection of your freedom and your private property.

This commandment establishes the divinely given right” of the individual to own personal property and possessions, and it limits government interference to the protection of this property.

This was a test that certain the early church went through in the book of Acts; Acts 5:1-11.

They lied to God,

They lied to the church.

They stole from God

They stole from the church.

The early church had individuals in it who lied, who stole, and was definitely a 2Ti 3:2 type of believer; “They will be lovers of self, lovers of money.

The word for Temple and the word for body and what they refer to.

“Temple” — The Greek noun ‎‎naos = a safe place to dwell, a shrine or a temple.

It is true that your physical body is a temple of the Holy Spirit but so is your “spiritual body, the Church,” which you are a part of forever, is also called a “temple of the Holy Spirit.”

There are times when the word Temple is used, and it refers to a Natural Temple or the actual building itself during the Church-age.

Temple – it refers to the spiritual Temple or a group of believers who are worshipping the Lord together and the Lord is blessing them because they fulfilled;

Psa 133:1 (A Song of Ascents, of David.) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!

The noun soma meaning a “physical body” or a spiritual body, which is His church also known as the “body of Christ.

Temple — the noun ‎naos which can be translated “the temple” referring to the temple of your physical body or in reality it can also refer to the Temple of your spiritual body which is His Church.

The noun ‎soma which refers to your body, literally or figuratively, meaning your physical body or,… it can also refer to His spiritual body, which is His Church.

That is your physical body but also a reference to the spiritual body that you have been called to in 1Pe 5:2, where you are to glorify God with your Time, Talent, and Treasure and operating in your spiritual gift.

This is a passage that definitely uses the word “body” referring to the Church, the Royal Family of God.

2Co 6:16 “For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Notice here the Temple is called “we” not “you” referring to the church that you are a part of.

It is usual to regard these verses as referring to the individual Christian, but the Epistle here is addressed not just to a believer but “unto the Church of God which is at Corinth, 1Co 1:2.

1Co to the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours: the apostle Paul gives us a very serious warning concerning not only our communion and fellowship with the Lord but how the church should have communion and fellowship with one another.

The problem of Christian fellowship originates from the trend to emphasize relationship with people over relationship with God.

This is when interaction with people becomes the criterion of the Christian way of life instead of the execution of the PPOG and the glorification of God.

This is usually manifested by such statements as we must love each other or the issue is not doctrine but love.

It’s not that Christian fellowship is wrong, but it is overemphasized so that today believers are not growing up spiritually.

1. Christian fellowship is never a substitute for fellowship with God.

2. Christian fellowship is never a substitute for learning Bible doctrine.

3. The execution of the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] and subsequent glorification of God only occurs through the consistent perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

4. Execution of the predesigned plan of God and subsequent glorification of God does not occur through Christian fellowship.

5. God always provides a right pastor for positive volition.

No pastor should ever get in your way to grow spiritually and that includes the pastor himself.

Ecc 7:20 Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.

Gal 3:22 But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.”

When you find yourself in a situation that is filled with “Cosmic Thinking” Do not lean on your own understanding.

You cannot change yourself through Christian fellowship, but only through perception of Bible doctrine.

The point is that your relationship with God is the major issue.

Changing yourself is a matter of consistent PMA [positive mental attitude] and application of Bible Doctrine from which comes the consistent use of the ten problem solving devices of the predesigned plan of God.

The most dramatic change in the life of any believer occurs when he is using all ten of these problem-solving devices.

Relationship with God must precede relationship with people.
Christian fellowship is secondary to perception of doctrine.

Christian fellowship is not the source of spiritual growth or momentum.

1. It establishes wrong priorities in the Christian life through the influence of confused believers.

2. It is a distraction from Bible doctrine through preoccupation with romance or friendship.

3. It is the acquisition of legalism through association with legalistic and arrogant believers.

4. It involves anti-nomianism, therefore association with promiscuous believers, which is also distracting.

5. Using Christian fellowship as a dating bureau or a marriage pool is a distraction from growing in grace.

6. Christian fellowship often results in acquiring erroneous views of doctrine, or the ridicule of doctrine in a group of Christian believers.

7. Christian fellowship uses people as a crutch rather than learning and using the ten problem solving devices of the Christian way of life.

8. A lifetime friendships develop among positive believers while they’re growing in grace.

9. Encouragement from conversations among believers of like faith and practice.

Now, look at 1Co 3:16 Do you not know that you [you is the second person plural = ya’ll or believers] you all are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you [second person plural = ya’ll]?

1Co 3:17 If any man destroys the temple of God that is the church of God, — [notice the temple of God is called the Church of God.]

God will destroy him, for the temple of God is Holy, and that is what you [Second person plural = you all are.

Verse 19 tells us to be God’s fool is the path to true wisdom.

That is not discerning the value of the impeccability of our Lord’s physical body as well as it can refer to His Church, the spiritual body of Christ or the Temple of God.

Not discerning the blood of the Lord or His spiritual death and His finished work on the cross where He died for our sins and also for those in the Temple or His Church.

True fellowship should be based upon 2Co 5:16 Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh or according to human viewpoint but rather divine viewpoint;

Eph 4:32 And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

The divine viewpoint of the church or the temple of God is found in such passages as John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”

Acts 17:11 Now these were more noble minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so.

For the best results and for the correct and the most accurate translation of any passage, it is wise to stay under the authority of the principle we call “ICE.”

1. Isagogics is the historical setting of the passage.

2. Categories is the systematic theology developed from combining Scripture with Scripture.

3. Exegesis is the grammatical and syntactical analysis of the passage from the original languages.

As we go forward in the PPOG and fulfilling our personal sense of destiny, it is important that we also know not “what glorifies the Lord” but “how to glorify the Lord.”

The apostle Paul said back in 1Co 3:17 that God will destroy him, for the temple of God is Holy, and that is what you are.

Because you have not judged or evaluated the Lord’s body, His church, His temple, correctly.

For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep or died. Because they did not or do not discern the Lord’s spiritual body which is His church, also called His Temple.

“because they did not or do not discern the Lord’s physical body” which He kept impeccable or His spiritual body which is His church and His Temple.

His spiritual body presently also known as His church, His Temple will forever be known as the bride of Christ for all eternity and it cannot be overstated or should ever be taken for granted; Prov 20:25.

The bride of Christ will be occupied with her right man, TLJC, for all of eternity and will do whatever her husband desires for all of eternity.

Do you operate with the Temple of God with your spiritual gift for in Rom 12:6 And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly:

Do you neglect or reject your spiritual gift for 1Ti 4:14 says Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was bestowed upon you.

1Pe 4:10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Notice the three main words I mentioned, exercise, neglect, serve.

Exercise — Rom 12:6, let each exercise their gift accordingly:

Neglect — 1Ti 4:14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you,

Serve — 1Pe 4:10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another

I.P. (Important principle): -The operation of your spiritual gift has been given to serve others in the Temple of God or the Church of Jesus Christ.

How do you judge yourselves rightly? PSD#1 [problem solving device #1] – Rebound or confession of sin or rebound and recovery, if needed or necessary.

Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

STUDY TITLE:

The Angelic Conflict. Part 4. Two Categories of Fallen Angels.
Eze 28; Isa 14:12-14; Gen 39:13-17; 2Pe 2:4-11

We are now on Point 3 in our study of the Angelic conflict: When and How the Angelic Conflict Began.

Eze 28:11-15, Again the word of the Lord [Jehovah] came to me saying, “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre [one the few individuals in human history who was possessed by Satan] and say to him, Thus says the Lord God, You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx, and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise, and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared. You were the anointed cherub [the highest rank of angelic creatures] who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the Holy mountain of God [third heaven]; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were blameless in your ways [not innocent, blameless] From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you.”

The first sinner of all creatures was Satan. He had everything to make him happy, but he lusted for power! Satan has organized angels against God, and once man was created, Satan had plans for man, which we will note in our study. Satan is the master of conspiracy! In fact, he is the originator of conspiracy!

Eze 28:16-19, “By the abundance of your slander You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God [this is future, Satan still has access into heaven]. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart [right lobe] was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom [distorted it] by reason of your splendor [beauty]. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you [this is future]. By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade [dishonest transactions, conspiracy], You profaned your sanctuaries [Satan’s first fall; his second fall is mentioned next which will come in the Tribulation period]. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you. All who know you among the peoples Are appalled at you; You have become terrified, And you will be no more.”

These verses point out the immediate, future, and the final judgment of God upon this mighty angel, which is more completely described in other parts of the Bible. In this one context however, God records the origin, the estate, the character, and the sin of the greatest of angels. One of the reasons God does this is because He wants us to see the devastating effects of arrogance and pride. God created Satan who was perfect in all his ways, and Satan sinned by opposing the will of God.

Let’s note some principles before moving on in our study:

1) Through the degenerating power of sin, Satan, like Adam, became an entirely different being from that which God created. God originally created angels and man to bless them. However, as a part of divine blessing they must be given a free will or a choice to either accept or reject the offer of God.

2) When God creates a being to fulfill a certain purpose, that being must be a perfect fulfillment of that divine pattern. God always provides whatever is needed for us to fulfill the purpose He has for our lives. This is why we have logistical grace, the problem-solving devices, and divine power if we desire it.

3) The reason why God created Satan as a beautiful intelligent angel is not so he would have enough power to deceive us, but originally Satan was created to be a protector and defender of the throne of God.

4) By his sin, he lost his original holiness and heavenly position, but he retains his wisdom and his beauty, and has turned his surpassing abilities into ways of evil.

5) Satan originally was to protect the Throne of God and to forbid the approach of evil or any unrighteousness. However, like most of God’s creatures, including born again believers, Satan rejected the plan of God for his life and chose his own plans over the plan of God.

6) The unrighteousness found in Satan was the sin of independence and self-exaltation. We tend to think of sin in terms of only immorality; however, sins like the sin of independence from the plan of God are the most destructive.

7) Satan is said to have been upon the Holy Mountain of God as the Anointed Cherub that covereth, and appears to have been the great high priest of his realm.

8) Satan also appears to have been the highest angel and therefore the king over his creation.

9) Satan was perfect in all his ways and apparently continued so for a length of time. The analogy between Satan’s perfection and his office of prophet, priest, and king, and our Lord’s, which He has already taken upon Himself, is very interesting. Satan abused his high office of prophet, priest, and king, so God created Adam to function as a prophet, priest, and king. He was to rule over the creation under the authority of God, Gen 1:26 says, Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Adam was to function as a prophet in the sense of teaching the things of God to Ishshah, as well as function as a priest worshipping God. However, he failed and he fell.

10) After the fall of Adam, when no other created being could be found to fulfill this function, the Lord Jesus Christ came forth from the Godhead to become a member of the human race, and to fulfill all three functions: prophet, priest, and king. The offices of prophet and priest He is already exercising, but not that of king. If He had come as a king to set up His kingdom, the result would have been utter destruction to all of us since all have sinned and whatsoever is sinful must be cast out of His kingdom into unquenchable fire. It was therefore necessary to first put away the iniquity of those who should be saved. This He came into the world to do by the sacrifice of Himself. He will come to earth a second time to claim the power from the hands of Satan, and after casting Satan into prison, the Lord will bring back the creation to purity and order. The government which Christ will take upon His shoulders appears to be exactly identical to that which was once committed to Satan, and the original order of things will begin to be restored in Christ’s Millennial kingdom.

In Isa 14, Isaiah presents the same material that Ezekiel presents in chapter 28 but with a little different information. Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!” The fall here refers to the second fall of Satan; it is a reference to Satan being cast out of heaven in the middle of the Tribulation. Satan has three falls: the first took place in eternity past, perhaps billions of years before man existed, that’s Eze 28:15 “You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you.” In the middle of the Tribulation Satan has his second fall and is cast out of heaven, Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Satan has access to heaven right now. The Lord is going to throw Satan out of Heaven and drop him to the earth, and Satan will never be allowed back to Heaven again. At the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ we have the third fall of Satan, Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

So in Isa 14:12, the time of this fall is in the middle of the Tribulation, “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning,” The word star is actually the word heylel, translated Lucifer in other passages, and it means the shining one or the star. Lucifer actually comes from the Latin and means light bearer. It means the shining one, the translucent one, the simulating one. There are two Hebrew words for shining or light being thrown-out. The word used here for Satan is heylel, and the other Hebrew word is nachash, used in Gen 3 for the serpent. Satan is a shining one and the serpent was a shining one, and both were attractive. Satan was attractive to at least one third of all the angels; the serpent was attractive to one half of all mankind, albeit there were only two at the time.

Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one of the morning [an angel of light], son of the dawn!” Satan can transform himself into an angel of light (2Co 11:14), and he transforms his ministers into angels of light, 2Co 11:14-15, And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore, it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; Satan has ministers and evangelists among the members of the human race, and they don’t teach about the occult. They teach about Jesus, but it’s another Jesus, not the Jesus of the Bible. They teach about the spirit, but not the Holy Spirit from God. They talk about the gospel, but it’s not the Gospel of the Bible. Paul said in 2Co 11:3-4 But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.

Isa 14:12-14 “How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Here is the original sin among creatures perhaps billions of years before man sinned. I will ascend into heaven is a reference to the third heaven where God is; Satan wanted the highest heavenly position. “I will sit on the mount of the assembly in the recesses of the north” refers to rulership over the government of the earth. Clouds are used to represent the divine presence of God or His glory. Jehovah appeared in cloud, Exo 16:10. Jehovah rides upon clouds, Psa 104:3.

Satan wants the glory which belongs to God alone. Remember that in spite of the universal impressions that Satan is unlike God, he is much like God, outwardly! As a part of Satan’s strategy to become like the Most High, those under the influence of his false doctrine teach others how to improve human nature while ignoring the new creature created by God. Most believers are too busy cleaning up the old man in order to make him presentable to the Lord, which is impossible. One question that needs to be answered is: why did a holy and righteous God who is all powerful and all knowing allow the fall of Satan and his angels to occur? From the Bible we may presume some possible reasons:

1) God is perfect, His plan is perfect, and He allowed evil to come into being. So, we trust in the character and nature of God and believe that He knows exactly what He’s doing and what’s best for His creation.

2) Perhaps He allowed angels to sin in order that He might give an explicit example of the wretchedness and degeneration of sin and rebellion. Rom 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

3) He used the test to gain a group of angels to serve Him from their own free will and personal love.

4) It may have been necessary to allow the fall of angels to finally show the grace of God in the preserving of some angels, and in the redemption of unworthy, sinful man who also fell because of Satan. In man, God will magnify His grace forever before angels. Eph 2:4-9, But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Point 4. Two Categories of Fallen Angels.

Category 1, the non-operational angels. Under this category there are two groups of angels who are in prison at this time and will be let out at some time in the future. First, the angels of Gen 6 who were involved in the angelic attack to infiltrate the human race, now incarcerated underneath the ground in a place called Tartarus, a compartment in Hades. These are the angels who cohabited with the women and brought forth super-creatures who were half-angel and half-human. Gen 6:4 tells us about them, The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God [angels] had sex with the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown [like Hercules, Zeus and Casper].

Back in Gen 6:1-2 Now it came about, when humanity began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, Now the sons of the gods [demon pantheons or the gods on Mount Olympus at the time] saw the women of mankind, that they were beautiful, so they seized [raped] for themselves women from all they had selected [whomever they chose].

The Hebrew verb laqach means to seize violently, to take by sheer strength, to overpower and seize these women, in many cases against their will, and to have sex with them. Gen 6:3 Then the Lord [God the Father] said, “My spirit [Holy Spirit] shall not strive or plead the cause of God in man’s soul forever, for in his going astray, he is flesh [mortal]. Therefore, his days will be one hundred and twenty years.”

This verse refers to the antediluvian ministry of the Holy Spirit before the flood, one of the greatest periods of evangelism in all of history, which resulted in millions of people hearing the Gospel. From the time of Gen 6:3 to the time of the flood = 120 years. At that point, God the Holy Spirit would no longer plead the cause of God in salvation, because the flood would wipe them out. Only eight human beings believed in Jesus Christ: Noah, his wife, their three sons, and their wives. The half-human, half-angelic creatures heard the gospel as well, and could have believed in Christ, and saved their human side.

We know this because of two reasons: 1) God is just and the justice of God would never send any creature to the eternal Lake of Fire without ample chance to believe on TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ; that is at that time, the coming of the TLJC = the Messiah]. 2) God gave them 120 years to repent; He wouldn’t have done that unless there was some way for them to be saved. However, none of them did. The grace policy of God never executes judgment on mankind before every grace opportunity has been given to believe. So, from the time of the angelic infiltration, and the genetic attack on true humanity, there would be 120 years of Gospel preaching, during which time, the entire human race would be corrupted by half-human, half-demonic people. One thing we know about those half-human and half-angelic creatures; they can drown and they did, the principle of water being used for judgment.

In Gen 6:4, the antediluvian super-race is mentioned, The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-angel, half-human] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of the gods came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. The phrase The Nephilim is Ha nephalim and refers to the fallen ones, half-human half-demon creatures. So, three categories of creatures are mentioned: 1) In verse 1, the phrase ha adam is true humanity, Now it came about, when men [ha adam] began to multiply on the face of the land. 2) In verses 2 and 4, the phrase beni ha elohim are angels with bodies. 3) In verse 4, the phrase ha nephalim are the progeny of the first two combined: half-human, half-angelic creatures.

If you have a body and you have certain genes, and you copulate with someone else who has a body of the opposite sex, there is every possibility that there will be a creature from the womb of the female. The problem is that many people think of angels having a halo around their head or as spirits without bodies. However, when you talk about spirits without bodies, you’re talking about demons as they are now, after the flood! But here we are talking about the antediluvian civilization, before the flood, when angelic creatures did have bodies. They were super creatures biologically, and it was a totally different civilization than what we have today! Similarly, there will be a totally different civilization in the Millennial reign of Christ. We know that from Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones] were on the earth in those days [they were on the earth in those days, meaning that they are not on the earth in these days], and also afterward, when the sons of the gods [the fallen angels like Zeus and Apollos] came in to the daughters of men, The phrase came in to is the kal future of the verb bo which is used for sexual relationships, as in Gen 39:13-17. The Bible says that the beni ha elohim have sex.

There is another viewpoint which states that the sons of God were children of Seth and were godly, and the daughters of men were sinful women from the line of Cain. This theory really has a lot of problems. First of all, we would have to say that all of Seth’s sons were godly and saved and going to heaven, and all the daughters of men were not. Secondly, unlike humanity, the half-angelic, half-human creatures possessed super intellect and super-strength, so much so, that violence and arrogance had to be restrained. They possessed high I.Q.’s in very strong bodies. Due to the influence of these creatures, the genetic destruction of true humanity was spreading throughout the entire world. This was a part of Satan’s scheme to stop the virgin birth to hinder our Lord from becoming true humanity (Isa 7:14; Isa 9:6, Heb 2:14; Heb 10:5).

So, in Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-human half-demon creatures] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward when the sons of the gods [demons] had sex with females of the human race, and had children by them, these children were the heroes who, from ancient history, were famous men. As a result of this demon attack, these fallen angels were confined to Tartarus, the third compartment of Sheol or Hades. These angels, like Sodom and Gomorrah, got involved with bestiality and homosexuality, with both humans and angels, and sexual immorality.

This is why we will study the parallel passage Jud 1:5-8, Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example, in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. Yet in the same manner these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties.

As well as 2Pe 2:4-11

Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-angel, half-human] were on the earth in those days [in those days, not these days], and also afterward, when the sons of the gods [the fallen angels like Zeus and Apollos] had sex with females of the human race, and had children by them, these children were the heroes who, from ancient history, were famous men.” The demons who function in the postdiluvian civilization under the command of Satan no longer have sexual capabilities; they are classified as disembodied spirits. In the antediluvian civilization, the demons who invaded the earth had angelic bodies and sexual capabilities. With their bodies, these demons were able to have sex with human females, resulting in the satanic attempt to destroy true humanity on the earth. And it almost succeeded except for the grace of God in the cataclysmic universal flood.

Sermon: Commandment 7. You shall not Commit Adultery.
Money and Sex, Just add Power and you have the “Unholy Trinity.”

Let’s Talk About Sex, part 16, The Conclusion.

Exo 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery” = fornication, prostitution, homosexuality, human sacrifice, group sex, demonism, rejection of authority, cultural degeneracy, bestiality, lesbianism, incest, masturbation, merchandising sex, etc.

Is the Phallic cult still around today?

Nehushtan = the Jews made an idol out of the means God used to deliver them and therefore rather than worshipping God they worshipped the means, the bronze serpent.

They were too much in bondage to the ways and the things that God operated in that they missed out on the Blessor because they were occupied with the blessings.

Here King Hezekiah got rid of the local fertility shrines, smashed the phallic stone monuments, and cut down the sex and religion Asherah groves.

He pulverized the ancient bronze serpent that Moses had made; at that time the Israelites had taken up the practice of sacrificing to it they had even dignified it with a name, Nehushtan (The Old Serpent).

The main problem here is that they worshipped the means rather than the person, TLJC.

We all have our little idols of God built right into our soul and if God does something to upset our little idol, or box, or concept, then our idol becomes the judge rather than the promises from God in the promise land.

Prin-Whether or not you enjoy victories over the giants in your promise land depends upon the type of information that you allow within your soul.

Luk 8:18 “Therefore take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him shall more be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

Mark 4:24 “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it shall be measured to you; and more shall be given you besides.

Isa 11:3 “He will delight in reverence toward the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;

Rom 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this cosmos or cosmic system of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Practically everything that goes on in the world, the cosmic system wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important has nothing to do with the Father.

The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out but whoever does what God wants is set for all eternity.

If they had been of us, they would have stuck it out with us, loyal to the end.
In leaving, they showed their true colors, showed they never did truly belong.

John says in 1Jo 2:21 “I haven’t been writing this to tell you something you don’t know, but to confirm the truth you do know, and to remind you that the truth doesn’t breed lies.”

Psa 101:7 He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house [Satan dwells – human viewpoint and demonic influence]; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.

David said that he had his eyes on the “salt of the earth people,” – the faithful of the land, they’re the ones David wants to work with.

Matt 17:20 b “For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

The merit is not in the faith you have but the merit depends upon the One you are having faith towards, and therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matt 19:26 Jesus said to His followers; “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can!’ All things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 10:27 Looking upon them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

Luk 1:37 “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Who are we to say what will change and what will not?

Sometimes we need to go back to our child-like days as children for a moment; 2Co 11:3.

2Co 11:3 But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

We should never allow ourselves to have a border and say,*** “He works within here, but not out here.”

Num 11:23 And the Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.”

In Job 11:7, one of Job’s close friends, Zophar the Naamathite said to Job , “Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty? “

There is a little book of prayers that children have written God – “Dear God, who drew the lines around all the States?”

Who drew those lines around all your needs, your goals and your dreams?

Who limits God in your life?

Who limits the influence Bible doctrine?

Who limits the work of God in your life?

Have you drawn God out of what you are going through in the promise land?

Is your concept of God, Nehushtan?

The bronze serpent was the means, which God used to reveal His Son to the congregation of Israel.

Jer 29:11 ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope [K.J.’ says] “to bring you to an expected end.]

With the worship toward the bronze serpent, the Jews completely missed out on the whole point or the doctrine behind this phenomenon because they put God in their little box.

They began to elevate and worship the means that God used to reveal Himself rather than God Himself.

They elevated the bronze serpent so much so that later on the bronze serpent became an idol or a snare to the congregation of Israel, 2Ki 18:4.

They made an idol out of that which God used to deliver them and heal them.

They put God in their little box and their little box became the object of their worship.

The Lord has a way of smashing and humbling us just when we think we have arrived and we’ve got is all down pat and it’s our way or no way, Heb 12:27-29.

“Is your God is too Small?”

“Do you have Him in a box?”

Prov 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Important principle: When arrogance becomes disenchanted with the idol it has created, then arrogance seeks to destroy the idol.

One of the most devastating forms of arrogance is to idolize someone who communicates doctrine then destroy him when he teaches something you disagree with.

This is very devastating because the person who does always confuses the communication with the communicator.

When the communicator says something or does something to let you down then you end up rejecting the communication of doctrine.

The smart believer accepts the doctrine and ignores the communicator.

Isa 8:7 And the Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them.

Luk 10:16 “The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

Destruction of a pastor-idol who teaches doctrine means rejection of Bible doctrine.

Rejection of that doctrine means rejection of God’s plan, God’s purpose and God’s will for your life.

Prin-Occasional disappointments with friends, loved ones, husbands, wives, children, bosses, pastors, coaches, etc. is normal but disenchantment or disillusion with a self manufactured idol is destructive.

This is when the individual becomes proud and over estimates what he ends up worshipping, whether it is a place, a person or a thing!

When the believer is losing in the PPOG [predesigned plan of God] and the PSD [personal sense of destiny], he or she accumulates garbage in the soul.

This garbage in the subconscious is related to certain defense mechanisms such as suppression, repression, dissociation, and denial, and garbage in the stream of consciousness related to idealization, role model arrogance, and unrealistic expectation.

When faced with certain commands on how to deal with sexual sins and the giants in their promise land, they are mature enough to fulfill their very own personal sense of destiny.

Notice then that a cult reveals one’s obsession with whatever type of power or influences that are controlling the individual.

When the writer talks about marriage and sex under the title of the “marriage bed being undefiled,” that immediately in the next verse he talks about money.

Heb 13:5, that your “lifestyle is to be free from the love of money, not flee from money, but flee from being in love with money and instead being content with what you have;”

Money and sex — just add power and you have the “Unholy trinity” what most people live for, money, sex and power, and end up worshipping and serving them as idols.

“What should your mental attitude be toward money be?”

It’s alright to think of the different ways money can be your servant rather than you being its slave but you can’t afford to fall in love with it.

Matt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money].

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many a pang.

Psa 73:3 For I was envious of the arrogant, As I saw the prosperity of the wicked. They are not in trouble as other men; Nor are they plagued like mankind.

Psa 73:16-17; When I pondered to understand this, It was troublesome in my sight until I came into the sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their end.

Ecc 11:1 Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.

Isa 55:1 “Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost.

Luk 3:14 And some soldiers were questioning him, saying, “And what about us, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not take money from anyone by force, or accuse anyone falsely, and be content with your wages.”

Luk 16:14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things, and they were scoffing at Him.

John 12:6 Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it.

2Ti 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

Message Bible — Job 31:24 “Did I set my heart on making big money or worship at the bank?

(MB) Pro 16:16 Get wisdom it is worth more than money; choose insight over income every time.

Prov 22:1 A sterling reputation is better than striking it rich; a gracious spirit is better than money in the bank.

Prov 23:23 Buy truth don’t sell it for love or money; buy wisdom, buy education, buy insight.

A cult is not necessarily devotion to a “god” as such, but it can also be devotion to an idea, especially one set up by the “god” of this world, Satan himself.

Main key = define the invisible battles that take place within the believer as well as not letting anything control you to the extent that it hinders and takes the believer away from fulfill the PPOG and their very own P.S.D.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin.

1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

The same power bestowed upon the humanity of Christ which allowed Him to endure the cross is the same power that is available to you and I today.

When our Lord was hanging on the cross, that same power would not allow Him to react to the crowd who said in Matt 27:40 “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

Everything that led up to the cross, all the terrible arrogance and torture that our Lord endured, He did so because He used the divine power made available to Him.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth.

Isa 52:14 His appearance was disfigured more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men.

Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It is melted within me.

Matt 27:46 “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?”

Heb 9:14 Through the eternal Spirit, Christ offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

When it was all over, He had demonstrated the fact that under the power of God the Holy Spirit, you and I can bear anything in the entire world!
