Prepare yourself for learning the Word of God!

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is; you have believed [trusted] in Him for His promised gift of eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to learn God's Word so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge (confess) your known unconfessed sins privately to God (i.e.; with your thoughts directed only to God the Father).

1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (known sins) and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [unknown or forgotten sins]." NKJV (New King James Version) [italics added]; we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins; the issue for you is to simply exercise faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life; when you do, you will instantly receive Eternal Life: John 3:16, 5:24, 6:47, 20:30, 31.

John 6:47 says: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life." NKJV [italics added]

Notice again what Jesus said in John 6:47: "…he who believes in Me (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life." It doesn't say, "will have"; it says, "has." Therefore, the very moment you believe in Jesus Christ for His promise of everlasting life, you have it (it's really just that simple; nothing more and nothing less), and it can never be taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift (Ephesians 2:8c) of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-15, 16, 17, 18, says: "14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for worship and learning God's Word. If there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

Study to show yourself approved to God!

STUDY TITLE:

The Angelic Conflict. Part 7. The worlds were framed not from nothing, but rather made from invisible things. 2Co 4:3-4; Gal 2:16; Job 1; Heb 1:1-2; Psa 8:3-5

Point 5 in our doctrine of the angelic conflict: Satanic and Demonic attacks during the Church-age. We have seen that during the Church-age, demon attacks are limited to two categories: 1) For the unbeliever, demon possession, or demon influence, in which demon doctrines enter the soul. 2) For believers, attacks are limited to demon influence, in which the doctrine of demons invades the right lobe of the soul (1Ti 4:1-5).

Satan’s organization is described in Eph 6:12 (corrected translation), For our warfare is not against blood and flesh [people’s souls or their O.S.N. = old sin nature], but against the rulers [the highest ranking demons in Satan’s organization, such as Abaddon or Apollyon and Beelzebub] against the powers [demon officers who have phenomenal authority] against the world forces of this darkness [Satan’s demon ambassadors who control many of the rulers of this world] against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places [spiritual forces of evil in the atmosphere around the earth, the stellar universe, and even in the presence of God to represent Satan]. This is why Eph 6:11 commands us to Put on the full armor from God so that you might always be able to stand firm or hold your ground against the strategies or the schemes of the devil. We are to take all the power that the Lord has provided, the spiritual weapons and the Problem-Solving Devices, and put them to use, in order to stand up to everything Satan throws our way. We are involved in a conflict between two kingdoms, and both kingdoms are after our soul.

Satan plans offensive action against the human race, especially against believers, and this action demands defense on our part. Defensive action is dependence on the Lord by remaining behind the wall of fire. Eph 4:27 is a command for defensive action, And do not give the devil an opportunity. The Greek word for opportunity is topos, and it means a place or a room in your soul. This verse is warning us not to give one room in our soul to the devil or the kingdom of darkness. The only way to prevent that is through our intake and application of Bible doctrine. Bible doctrine is pleasant to the soul, Prov 2:10, For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; (see also Prov 19:8; PRO 24:4; Ecc 7:12). On the other hand, rejection of Bible doctrine produces destruction, Isa 5:13, Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; Hos 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
So, just as doctrine gives the rooms of the soul pleasure and freedom, a lack of doctrine in those rooms produces slavery and bondage. David said in Psa 139:23-24, Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way. The Lord wants to deliver us from bondage, and not to condemn us, or make us feel guilty. He wants to set us free. Psa 139:12 says, Even the darkness is not dark to Thee, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to Thee. Unless a believer is free from this bondage of his soul, or this room of secret faults or sins, the believer will never enjoy true freedom. That room will be like a dungeon or a prison in the life of the believer. The Lord desires to set us all free from this guilt, condemnation, fear, insecurity, self-introspection, and low self-esteem, John 8:32, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36 says, If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. (Psa 68:6; Isa 61:1; Isa 42:7; Psa 69:33, 146:7b; Jer 15:11).

So, the believer is commanded to be on the defensive against Satan’s strategies. This is because we are in a conflict, and defensive action is a grace function. Believers are dependent upon the grace provision of God. Eph 6:13 is a command for defensive action, Pick up and put on the full armor from God that you may always be able to hold your ground in the day that evil attacks you. The evil day is the day you are attacked by any system of evil. James 4:7 commands us, Hold your ground against the devil and he will flee from you. The ground is the spiritual advance and momentum that we have achieved from making positive decisions toward doctrine. It is easy to lose your ground, and lose the doctrine that you once had. 2Jo 1:8 warns us, Watch yourselves, that you might not lose what we have accomplished [your momentum and spiritual growth], but that you may receive a full reward [imputation of your escrow blessings in time and eternity].

1Pe 5:8-9 Be sober minded [attain spiritual self-esteem], be alert, your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for some believer to devour; therefore, hold your ground against him by standing firm in doctrine. What God has provided for us, He provides in grace, and the defense of grace has no weaknesses. When we use our human strengths and abilities against Satan, we are defeated, but with grace we win. Encouragement for defensive action against Satan is found in 1Jo 4:4, Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

We are to be on the defensive against Satan because he and his angels in the angelic conflict use offensive action. In human history, the sovereignty of God and free will of man coexist by divine decree because human history is an extension of the pre-historic angelic conflict. This is the reason why you are here. Satan learned that he cannot attack the sovereignty of God, which is incorruptible, so he attacked the volition of God’s creatures. Satan tries to make creatures choose against the Creator, and for the creature, and he came up with a plan to attack God through His own creatures. The greatest attack on human volition occurred in the dispensation of the hypostatic union against the humanity of Christ. Jesus Christ was attacked constantly, and He was tempted beyond anything we will ever know. Heb 4:15, For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality; rather our Lord has experienced everything, except sin.

Satan’s offensive began in the pre-historic angelic conflict when he revolted against God with the thought, I will be like the most high God. The result of which is stated in Rev 12:3-4, And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the earth. The result was a great trial, in which Satan and all fallen angels were condemned to the eternal lake of fire. Matt 25:41, “depart from me you who have been condemned into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.” Satan was already judged and condemned before the creation of the human race. However, Satan was granted an appeal, and so mankind was created to resolve the angelic conflict. All the witnesses in the appeal trial are members of the human race. Satan’s strategy is designed to attack the human race and corrupt human volition at two critical points:

The first is at the point of the Gospel where Satan attacks to obscure the content of the Gospel, and to corrupt the fact of faith in Christ alone for eternal salvation, 2Co 4:3-4, And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

These are blind to the brightness of the Message that shines with Christ, who gives us the best picture of God that we will ever get. Satan’s objective is to establish systems of religion in which the works of mankind replace the function and mechanics of the grace of God. The Gospel is attacked by the teaching of salvation by works, or faith plus something else, and of course this is a direct attack against scripture, Gal 2:16, Knowing that a person is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Christ Jesus… for by the works of the law no flesh will be justified.”

Rom 3:28, For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

Eph 2:8-9, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

We know very well that we are not right with God by means of keeping the law or trying to keep all the rules, but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. The Jews had the best system of rules the world has ever seen, however, Gal 3:24 says, The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Or Rom 3:9, What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; All of us start out in identical condition: as sinners.

The second point of Satan’s attack is on the believer where Satan attacks volition to cause rejection of doctrine. Satan seeks to obscure the importance of doctrine through false doctrine, legalism, distractions, and false scales of values, among other ways. By neutralizing the importance of Bible doctrine, the believer is hindered from executing the PPOG [predesigned plan of God], including glorifying God in the midst of the angelic conflict.

We are to be on the defensive against Satan and the fallen angels. The question which comes to mind for many people is: If the devil and his angels have already been sentenced to the lake of fire, then why does God allow them to be free today? We can answer that with a principle found in the word of God, Rom 9:22-23 says, What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? And He did so in order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

In context this deals with the unbelief of the Jews and the saving of the Gentiles; however, the principle can still apply to Satan and the fallen angels. Note in verse 22, God is demonstrating His wrath, and in the angelic conflict, God is directing His wrath toward Satan and the fallen angels. He is also making His power known to all of His creatures as He is enduring, with much patience, the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, namely Satan and the fallen angels. God is doing this, as verse 23 says, in order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, namely the members of the human race, which He prepared beforehand for glory, which is another answer to why the angelic conflict.

Because Satan cannot directly attack God, he must concentrate his attack on humans who are vulnerable to Satan’s offensive strategy. His hope and plan is to get mankind to attack the character and nature of God as a third party in the conflict. This was Satan’s whole purpose in attacking Job. It’s interesting to note that the oldest book in the Bible, from the standpoint of writing, is the book of Job which is written in Archaic Hebrew. Job was written long before Moses lived, and long before Moses wrote the first five books in the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). The book of Job is pre-Mosaic in its authorship. This is important because it means that the very first book that God gave man starts out with a scene in the courtroom of heaven in the midst of the angelic conflict, and a man being entered into evidence testing. Job is a book that really gives us some insight into the angelic conflict, and why we are here.

Remember that we are all here for one reason only and that is to bring glory to God, and that’s it! This is why Isa 43:21 says “The people whom I formed for Myself, Will declare My praise.” Isa 43:7, “Everyone who is called by My name, I have created for My glory,”

In Job 1:1, There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job, and that man was blameless, upright, respecting God, and turning away from evil. This does not mean that he was perfect; he had a dark side, like we all do, and Job had an Old Sin Nature as well. Verse 1, however, describes his spiritual prosperity. Job was blameless, he was a spiritually mature believer. He was upright, he had victories in spiritual growth. He feared, or respected God, which is a reference to his personal love for TLJC. And the fact that he turned away from evil illustrates his grace orientation. Remember that evil includes both moral and immoral degeneracy. In verses 6-10, we have the beginning of Satan’s offensive action against God’s people and the angelic conflict. Job 1:6, Now there was a day when the sons of God [angels] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. One day when the angels came to report to God, Satan, who was the Designated Accuser, came along with them. Job 1:7, And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.” Satan always started the courtroom session by making it clear that while God had put Adam in charge of the world as its ruler, Satan had taken it over. Remember, before the human race was created, Satan was the ruler of planet earth. It was his headquarters long before any human creatures existed. When Satan and the fallen angels were sentenced to the lake of fire, one of the things God did was to shut down Satan’s headquarters. This is the reason why Gen 1:1-2, says, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth became formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; This all took place during the pre-historic angelic conflict, when God covered the entire earth with ice. After this, Gen 1:2b tells us, and the Spirit of God began to move over the surface of the waters. This was actually the beginning of God granting Satan’s appeal.

The earth had to be restored for man’s occupancy. The first two verses of the Bible give key clues that become more and more important concerning the doctrine of the angelic conflict, and bring into sharp focus what has happened throughout Earth’s history, as well as human history which has comprised the last 6,000 years. All the evidence points to the fact that the Earth is much older than many conservative Christians who have embraced the young Earth theory would hold. It is possible to decipher this from the first few verses of the Bible provided we look at what the original Hebrew language conveys. Unfortunately most believers of the Genesis account of creation read it in their own language, and because of the differences in languages, these translations lose much of their meaning, and allow for misinterpretations. We need to realize that when God went through the creation steps outlined in Genesis, they were a minor undertaking. For human beings, it is a complicated process, but for TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ], it was a simple task. Therefore, the writers of the Bible, in the words they selected to tell about God forming the world and universe, describe the work as an almost casual operation, a light bit of work. For example, Heb 11:3 makes perfect sense in this context, when the writer says, By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. In other words, God simply spoke and worlds were created. This also alludes to the Word of God that John wrote about in his gospel, as well as the destroying sword that comes out of the mouth of the returning Messiah at the end of the Great Tribulation. This presents the idea both of creation through arranging materials, as well as the idea of a carpenter at work. While it seems likely that this creation involved a change of spiritual things into physical, it isn’t a matter of making something from nothing.

Let’s see how all this applies to the Genesis account. In the first verses of the Bible, the idea of creation is conveyed by the verb bara. Gen 1:1, In the beginning God created (bara) the heavens and the earth. The Hebrew word for created is the verb bara, which means to create, cut down wood, to shape, to fashion, or dispatch. Bara shows that God’s creation of the world wasn’t the work of creating it from nothing (as is often the mistaken view people have); rather, it connotes devising something that has already existed into a finished form. God created the heavens and the earth out of something, namely, the Word of God. Heb 1:1-2, God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Or Heb 11:1-3, Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

This explains that the worlds were not framed from nothing, but rather made of invisible things (reformed from some past materials). The point is that God did use something to create the universe, namely the Word of God. God’s creation of the world wasn’t the work of creating it from nothing, but devising something that has already existed into a finished form. The word bara suggests light work; this is reflected in Psa 8:3-6, When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him? Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than God, And dost crown him with glory and majesty! Thou dost make him to rule over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet, The implication here is that the work was done simply by moving just His fingers, with hardly any effort at all. In an age when men pride themselves in what they create, imagine how foolish the most creative of artists or scientists of today’s culture might appear to God Who has such capabilities. It should also be noted that what is translated into English as the beginning in Gen 1, is the Hebrew word reshiyth, which denotes the first in a series of things, or the first or the principle thing. This isn’t the starting of the heavens and the earth, but a statement that they were part of the beginning period, before the creation story when the restoration of the earth came into being.

It tells us that God made the heavens and the Earth, but it doesn’t give us a clue as to when or how. When Hebrew writers wanted to note the actual beginning of a time, such as the time of day, or when a harvest commenced, the word employed was most often techillah not bara. This passage of the Bible denotes a period during which that first state of being took place, and during which God created the heavens and the Earth. This may seem like hair-splitting but it has important ramifications, because it points to the idea that other events have taken place before or during this beginning period, even outside the realm of time and space as most people know them. The mind-boggling complexity of the situation is reflected in the phenomenal logic of the beginning in the Gospel of John: John 1:1-3, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. The phrase came into being in the Greek, presents a good opportunity to see how the N.T. [New Testament] writers viewed the idea of the first verse of Genesis as well. The Greek word for beginning is arche, where the word arch comes from, and it indicates not simply a beginning, but a chief period of time, with the idea of a ruler’s magnitude of power is behind it. In John the phrase “In the beginning” also conveys the idea of a period of time, not the beginning or creation of things but just a starting point for the human race. The word translated into English as “came into being” is the Greek verb ginomai. This word conveys the idea of causing something to become something else or to assemble something into a whole.

So, here again the idea is not of God (through Jesus Christ) creating the universe from nothing but rather assembling and forming it into a whole, much as a potter might form a pot or a carpenter frame and build a house. A similar idea of the universe was conveyed by the ancient Greeks; their word cosmos, often translated world or universe, actually suggests a creation that is fabricated from other materials, becoming polished or adorned as it is fashioned. The word doesn’t suggest something created from nothing, but rather that the worlds were made of invisible things. So the earth had to be restored for man’s occupancy, which came long after the creation of the earth. However, man’s occupancy on planet earth didn’t last too long before Adam and the woman fell and then Satan became the ruler of the world again. Satan always considers this one of his greatest victories. So, it is not surprising to find in several accounts where Satan and the fallen angels are present in heaven, Satan bragging about the fact that he has just come from roaming about on the earth, (his kingdom) and walking around on it (Job 1:6).

Here is arrogance rejecting the authority of God even though he is doomed to spend eternity in the lake of fire. We find the same thing about Satan when he is imprisoned for 1000 years during the Millennial reign of Christ. The first thing he does when he gets out of prison is to start a conspiracy and a revolution. In Rev 20:7-8, And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. Arrogance learns nothing whether it’s arrogance in a criminal or arrogance in a law abiding citizen.

So, in Job 1:8, And the Lord said to Satan [since you have been roaming about on the earth], “Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”

With the statement “Have you considered my servant Job?” Job is now entered as a witness for God in the historic appeal trial of Satan and the fallen angels. This is the greatest privilege you could ever have as a believer.

Hymn #2

Preparing yourself for the study of God’s Word

Before we begin, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ (that is— you have trusted in Him for eternal life), it is important to prepare yourself to take-in God’s Word or participating in a Communion Service, so take a moment to name, cite or acknowledge your sins privately directly to God the Father. This will assure that you are in fellowship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit’s convicting ministry, also called the convincing ministry will then be able to teach you as the Holy Spirit is the real teacher and the pastor’s message is the vehicle the Holy Spirit uses to convince you what you are learning is true or not.

1 John 1:9, says—“If we confess [simply name, cite or acknowledge to God the Father] our sins [known sins], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins [known sins] and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [all unknown and forgotten sins];” NKJV (New King James Version); we call this REBOUND, read the full doctrine as to “why” we need to use 1 John 1:9 to grow spiritually. REBOUND

If you have never personally believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (that is, believed in Him for eternal life), the issue for you is not to name your sins to God; the issue for you is to believe by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life and you will be saved the very second you believe in Him:

John 6:47 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” NKJV

Notice again what John 6:47 says, “he who believes in Me [Jesus Christ] has everlasting life.” It doesn’t say, “will have”; it says, “has.” Therefore, the very moment you believe Jesus Christ’s promise of everlasting life, you have it (it’s really just that simple), and it can never be lost or taken away from you (John 10:28-29). Furthermore, the gift of everlasting life (also called eternal life in scripture) is available to every human being; there are absolutely no exceptions.

John 3:14-18 says: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” NKJV

Let us now bow our hearts and take a moment to prepare for learning God’s Word, if there is any known sin in your life, this is the time to just cite it privately to God the Father with your thoughts directed towards Him. With your head bowed and your eyes closed, you have total privacy in your mind and soul:

NOTES
Unlike the bible study, these notes are not just for reading without watching the video. These notes are more designed to follow along during the sermon and to bring up the “hover pop-up scripture references” (some websites may require to left click the link, if that doesn’t work then look them up in your Bible) when the Pastor asks everyone to turn to that passage in their bibles.

Sermon: God the Holy Spirit has protected us from self-destruction.

There is a subtle distraction to the communication of Bible doctrine as the number one priority in the believer’s life by what has been called the “Beyond Doctrine Movement.”

What should be done after a person believes on the Lord Jesus Christ and is ready to answer such questions as: After salvation, what?

We need to beware of not becoming like a Pharisee and then to try and legislate B.D. [bible doctrine] so much that we lose the life that God’s word and promises given to us as the recipients of grace and truth.

1Co 8:1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes arrogant, but love edifies.

In 1Co 8:1-6, we have a reference to a major problem that was apparent in the Churches at Corinth = the danger of having a little knowledge in the Christian life and thinking that you have a lot.

There is nothing wrong with having a little knowledge providing that you have the ability to control it rather than having “IT” control your life.

At first, it must have seemed to the disciples that they had no advantage over everyone else—and that our Lord would die and leave them alone.

The Jewish leaders who had been told they could not go where our Lord was going, were also not able to know that the disciples would be able to be with Jesus no matter where they would be later on.

Because of our Lord Jesus Christ we would return to God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, which would be made available, allowing every believer constant access to the Father and the Son.

This is another reason for all of us to trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ because obedience to God comes from your love and trust toward our Lord and Savior.

We know that because God the Holy Spirit has protected us from self-destruction.

This is a sobering way of stating what our Lord said and it is also a direct reflection of our love for our Lord.

John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.”

John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them is he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and [“we”] will disclose or reveal ourselves to Him.

The coming days would bring horrifying, then glorious, events, but our Lord would not be able to talk to His disciples during those times.

Before the disciples could understand any more, our Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection would have to take place.

The disciples’ understanding would be heightened by the coming of God the Holy Spirit, their true mentor.”

Notice that the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, would be sent as a representative of the Royal Family of God.

Not only is God the Holy Spirit a Counselor and a representative of the Royal Family of God, but He is also the one who created us to be Royal Ambassadors.

The Holy Spirit would continue our Lord’s teaching ministry by preparing us to be our Lord’s Bride of the future.

This is a part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit preparing the bride of Christ for her husband, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 5:14, the Word of God and the Spirit of God working together to make our Lord’s spiritual body a temple for the Bride and the Bridegroom.

Eph 5:14 “For this reason it ( It = a reference to Isa 51:17; 52:1; 60:1) says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

If you are ignorant of doctrine how do you handle a problem which requires the doctrine you don’t have?

What source do you have for solving the problem?

If you start to operate on human viewpoint with regard to food offered to idols, or anything else, you’ve had it.

Instead of resolving the problem on the basis of Bible doctrine he resolves the problem on the basis of human prejudice.

Most of you by now recognize that Bible doctrine must be taught based on three major and basic principles.

The one we seem to use the most is the original language of the Hebrew and the Greek.

We need to be open and available to what God the Holy Spirit is saying to us.

1. Isagogics = Historical Setting

2. Categories = Systematic Theology

3. Exegesis = Original languages.

The richness of the passage that is set before us is found in the Greek noun nekros — which is correctly translated “death” but the issue is what kind of death is the Holy Spirit revealing to us?

Eph 5:14 “For this reason it (It is a reference to Isa 51:17; 52:1; 60:1) says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

Key Word = the Greek noun nekros, and here is where the original language of nekros is in view because the word nekros is in the plural and it is really an adjective translated as a noun.

Eph 5:14 “For this reason it (O.T. = Old Testament) says, “Awake, sleeper [a command for believers to be on the alert and wake up from their slothfulness or sleeping ,

“And arise from the (other) dead ones (nekros = in the plural and is correctly translated = Arise from the other dead ones,

Or Arise from those believers who are also sleeping spiritually and looking for others to join them in their slothfulness and laziness.

We should arise from the other dead ones in last part of the verse which says “And Christ will shine on you.”

The challenge to produce divine good and Christian service which is acceptable to God is found in the vine and the branch metaphor of John 15:1-8.

Throughout this passage the apostle John uses the vine, the vinedresser and the branches as a metaphor to represent the relationship of the believer with the Lord Jesus Christ.

A metaphor is a figure of speech in which one thing is likened to another.

Here we have the vine and the branches used as a metaphor to represent the unity between the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church-age believer.

The vinedresser metaphor refers to God the Father as the author of the Predesigned Plan of God.

The vine metaphor refers to the humanity of Jesus during the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union.

Fruit through the branch is a symbol of the Church-age believer.

And the obvious principle; No fruit or production can be any better than the vine which produces it.

The vine metaphor emphasizes the fact that all precedence and all production of divine good in the Church-age comes from the vine – our Lord Jesus.

The branch is a metaphor for the Church-age believer.

“dead branches” representing dead works, or production skills minus Spiritual skills.

“Live branches” representing divine good, or Spiritual skills as the basis for production skills.

The branch that does not bear fruit refers to the believer who does not produce divine good.

Dead works is not fruit-bearing and is punishable or subject to divine discipline.

Verses 2 = God the Father removes and takes away all dead wood, dead branches, branches which produce dead works.

God the Father takes away or removes the dead works through disciplinary suffering in two categories: the law of volitional responsibility which produces a tremendous amount of self-induced misery and divine discipline.

Matt 7:17 “Every healthy tree produces good fruit. And every diseased tree produces worthless [degenerate, or evil] fruit.

Matt 7:18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit.

Matt 7:19 every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

1. The law of volitional responsibility which produces a tremendous amount of self-induced misery and divine discipline.

2. We also have the principle of pruning which is necessary to redistribute where the energy for divine production should go.

The branch that does bear fruit has to be pruned occasionally so that the Spiritual skills will increase and maximize.

Principle: Just as God provides divine discipline and punitive action for the non-fruit bearer, so God provides suffering for blessing for the fruit-bearer.

Verses 3-4 are the cleansing of the branches for production.

Verse three is salvation cleansing of the branches.

Nothing in your life before salvation should be a hindrance to your production of divine good.

John 15:4, verse four refers to post-salvation cleansing of the branches, which is in 1Jo 1:9.

The fact that “abide” is a command means that it is an experience after salvation and not a reference to positional sanctification.

We are never commanded to be in Union with Christ and this is a command to remain in fellowship with God through the use of 1Jo 1:9, so that divine good can be produced.

The branch in of John 15:2 is positional sanctification, but the branch commanded to abide in verses 4, is the believer mandated to experiential sanctification through the filling of the Holy Spirit.

“i in you” is the command for the believer to learn and metabolize Bible doctrine.

The vine has provided for us the precedent, the pattern, and the information necessary to produce divine good.

Spiritual skills = the filling of the Spirit;

Perception, metabolization, and application of doctrine;

And execution of the Predesigned Plan of God.

Our Lord had Spiritual skills for thirty years before he had three years of production in His ministry.

Abiding in this verse is a reference to the filling of the Spirit.

“in us” is cognition of Bible doctrine or having his mind alive in us.

These Spiritual skills are required before we can produce “much fruit.”

The phrase “do nothing” is dead works, or the function of production skills without Spiritual skills.

Principle – The production of divine good is a grace provision from God which meets God’s perfect standards.

God provides the means for fruit-bearing through the filling of the Holy Spirit, understanding of Bible doctrine, and through the attainment of Spiritual growth.

Part 6. Abaddon/Apollyon. The destroyer and exterminator. Rev 9; 2Th 2:1-12; Mat 24; Isa 2:12-22;, 24:7-23; Jer 30:7; Joel 2:1-11; Zep 1:14-18

We are now on Point 3 in our study of the Angelic conflict: When and How the Angelic Conflict Began.

Eze 28:11-15, Again the word of the Lord [Jehovah] came to me saying, “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre [one the few individuals in human history who was possessed by Satan] and say to him, Thus says the Lord God, You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx, and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise, and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared. You were the anointed cherub [the highest rank of angelic creatures] who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the Holy mountain of God [third heaven]; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were blameless in your ways [not innocent, blameless] From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you.”

The first sinner of all creatures was Satan. He had everything to make him happy, but he lusted for power! Satan has organized angels against God, and once man was created, Satan had plans for man, which we will note in our study. Satan is the master of conspiracy! In fact, he is the originator of conspiracy!

Eze 28:16-19, “By the abundance of your slander You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God [this is future, Satan still has access into heaven]. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart [right lobe] was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom [distorted it] by reason of your splendor [beauty]. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you [this is future]. By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade [dishonest transactions, conspiracy], You profaned your sanctuaries [Satan’s first fall; his second fall is mentioned next which will come in the Tribulation period].

Therefore, I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you. All who know you among the peoples Are appalled at you; You have become terrified, And you will be no more.”

These verses point out the immediate, future, and the final judgment of God upon this mighty angel, which is more completely described in other parts of the Bible. In this one context however, God records the origin, the estate, the character, and the sin of the greatest of angels. One of the reasons God does this is because He wants us to see the devastating effects of arrogance and pride. God created Satan who was perfect in all his ways, and Satan sinned by opposing the will of God.

Let’s note some principles before moving on in our study:

1) Through the degenerating power of sin, Satan, like Adam, became an entirely different being from that which God created. God originally created angels and man to bless them. However, as a part of divine blessing they must be given a free will or a choice to either accept or reject the offer of God.

2) When God creates a being to fulfill a certain purpose, that being must be a perfect fulfillment of that divine pattern. God always provides whatever is needed for us to fulfill the purpose He has for our lives. This is why we have logistical grace, the problem-solving devices, and divine power if we desire it.

3) The reason why God created Satan as a beautiful intelligent angel is not so he would have enough power to deceive us, but originally Satan was created to be a protector and defender of the throne of God.

4) By his sin, he lost his original holiness and heavenly position, but he retains his wisdom and his beauty, and has turned his surpassing abilities into ways of evil.

5) Satan originally was to protect the Throne of God and to forbid the approach of evil or any unrighteousness. However, like most of God’s creatures, including born again believers, Satan rejected the plan of God for his life and chose his own plans over the plan of God.

6) The unrighteousness found in Satan was the sin of independence and self-exaltation. We tend to think of sin in terms of only immorality; however, sins like the sin of independence from the plan of God are the most destructive.

7). Satan is said to have been upon the Holy Mountain of God as the Anointed Cherub that covereth, and appears to have been the great high priest of his realm.

8) Satan also appears to have been the highest angel and therefore the king over his creation.

9) Satan was perfect in all his ways and apparently continued so for a length of time. The analogy between Satan’s perfection and his office of prophet, priest, and king, and our Lord’s, which He has already taken upon Himself, is very interesting. Satan abused his high office of prophet, priest, and king, so God created Adam to function as a prophet, priest, and king. He was to rule over the creation under the authority of God, Gen 1:26 says, Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Adam was to function as a prophet in the sense of teaching the things of God to Ishshah, as well as function as a priest worshipping God. However, he failed and he fell.

10) After the fall of Adam, when no other created being could be found to fulfill this function, the Lord Jesus Christ came forth from the Godhead to become a member of the human race, and to fulfill all three functions: prophet, priest, and king. The offices of prophet and priest He is already exercising, but not that of king. If He had come as a king to set up His kingdom, the result would have been utter destruction to all of us since all have sinned and whatsoever is sinful must be cast out of His kingdom into unquenchable fire. It was therefore necessary to first put away the iniquity of those who should be saved. This He came into the world to do by the sacrifice of Himself. He will come to earth a second time to claim the power from the hands of Satan, and after casting Satan into prison, the Lord will bring back the creation to purity and order. The government which Christ will take upon His shoulders appears to be exactly identical to that which was once committed to Satan, and the original order of things will begin to be restored in Christ’s Millennial kingdom.

In Isa 14, Isaiah presents the same material that Ezekiel presents in chapter 28 but with a little different information. Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!” The fall here refers to the second fall of Satan; it is a reference to Satan being cast out of heaven in the middle of the Tribulation. Satan has three falls: the first took place in eternity past, perhaps billions of years before man existed, that’s Eze 28:15 “You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you.” In the middle of the Tribulation Satan has his second fall and is cast out of heaven, Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Satan has access to heaven right now. The Lord is going to throw Satan out of Heaven and drop him to the earth, and Satan will never be allowed back to Heaven again. At the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ we have the third fall of Satan, Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

So, in Isa 14:12, the time of this fall is in the middle of the Tribulation, “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning,” The word star is actually the word heylel, translated Lucifer in other passages, and it means the shining one or the star. Lucifer actually comes from the Latin and means light bearer. It means the shining one, the translucent one, the simulating one. There are two Hebrew words for shining or light being thrown-out. The word used here for Satan is heylel, and the other Hebrew word is nachash, used in Gen 3 for the serpent. Satan is a shining one and the serpent was a shining one, and both were attractive. Satan was attractive to at least one third of all the angels; the serpent was attractive to one half of all mankind, albeit there were only two at the time.

Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one of the morning [an angel of light], son of the dawn!” Satan can transform himself into an angel of light (2Co 11:14), and he transforms his ministers into angels of light, 2Co 11:14-15, And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Therefore, it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; Satan has ministers and evangelists among the members of the human race, and they don’t teach about the occult. They teach about Jesus, but it’s another Jesus, not the Jesus of the Bible. They teach about the spirit, but not the Holy Spirit from God. They talk about the gospel, but it’s not the Gospel of the Bible. Paul said in 2Co 11:3-4 But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.

Isa 14:12-14 “How you have fallen from heaven, O shining one of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Here is the original sin among creatures perhaps billions of years before man sinned. I will ascend into heaven is a reference to the third heaven where God is; Satan wanted the highest heavenly position. “I will sit on the mount of the assembly in the recesses of the north” refers to rulership over the government of the earth. Clouds are used to represent the divine presence of God or His glory. Jehovah appeared in cloud, Exo 16:10. Jehovah rides upon clouds, Psa 104:3.

Satan wants the glory which belongs to God alone. Remember that in spite of the universal impressions that Satan is unlike God, he is much like God, outwardly! As a part of Satan’s strategy to become like the Most High, those under the influence of his false doctrine teach others how to improve human nature while ignoring the new creature created by God. Most believers are too busy cleaning up the old man in order to make him presentable to the Lord, which is impossible. One question that needs to be answered is: why did a holy and righteous God who is all powerful and all knowing allow the fall of Satan and his angels to occur? From the Bible we may presume some possible reasons:

1) God is perfect, His plan is perfect, and He allowed evil to come into being. So we trust in the character and nature of God and believe that He knows exactly what He’s doing and what’s best for His creation.

2) Perhaps He allowed angels to sin in order that He might give an explicit example of the wretchedness and degeneration of sin and rebellion. Rom 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

3) He used the test to gain a group of angels to serve Him from their own free will and personal love.

4) It may have been necessary to allow the fall of angels to finally show the grace of God in the preserving of some angels, and in the redemption of unworthy, sinful man who also fell because of Satan. In man, God will magnify His grace forever before angels. Eph 2:4-9, But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Point 4. Two Categories of Fallen Angels.

Category 1, the non-operational angels. Under this category there are two groups of angels who are in prison at this time and will be let out at some time in the future. First, the angels of Gen 6 who were involved in the angelic attack to infiltrate the human race, now incarcerated underneath the ground in a place called Tartarus, a compartment in Hades. These are the angels who cohabited with the women and brought forth super-creatures who were half-angel and half-human. Gen 6:4 tells us about them, The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God [angels] had sex with the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown [like Hercules, Zeus and Casper].

Back in Gen 6:1-2 Now it came about, when humanity began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, Now the sons of the gods [demon pantheons or the gods on Mount Olympus at the time] saw the women of mankind, that they were beautiful, so they seized [raped] for themselves women from all they had selected [whomever they chose].

The Hebrew verb laqach means to seize violently, to take by sheer strength, to overpower and seize these women, in many cases against their will, and to have sex with them. Gen 6:3 Then the Lord [God the Father] said, “My spirit [Holy Spirit] shall not strive or plead the cause of God in man’s soul forever, for in his going astray, he is flesh [mortal]. Therefore, his days will be one hundred and twenty years.”

This verse refers to the antediluvian ministry of the Holy Spirit before the flood, one of the greatest periods of evangelism in all of history, which resulted in millions of people hearing the Gospel. From the time of Gen 6:3 to the time of the flood = 120 years. At that point, God the Holy Spirit would no longer plead the cause of God in salvation, because the flood would wipe them out. Only eight human beings believed in Jesus Christ: Noah, his wife, their three sons, and their wives. The half-human, half-angelic creatures heard the gospel as well, and could have believed in Christ, and saved their human side.

We know this because of two reasons:

1) God is just and the justice of God would never send any creature to the eternal Lake of Fire without ample chance to believe on TLJC [The Lord Jesus Christ].

2) God gave them 120 years to repent; He wouldn’t have done that unless there was some way for them to be saved. However, none of them did. The grace policy of God never executes judgment on mankind before every grace opportunity has been given to believe. So, from the time of the angelic infiltration, and the genetic attack on true humanity, there would be 120 years of Gospel preaching, during which time, the entire human race would be corrupted by half-human, half-demonic people. One thing we know about those half-human and half-angelic creatures; they can drown and they did, the principle of water being used for judgment.

In Gen 6:4, the antediluvian super-race is mentioned, The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-angel, half-human] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of the gods came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. The phrase The Nephilim is Ha nephalim and refers to the fallen ones, half-human half-demon creatures. So, three categories of creatures are mentioned:

1) In verse 1, the phrase ha adam is true humanity, Now it came about, when men [ha adam] began to multiply on the face of the land.

2) In verses 2 and 4, the phrase beni ha elohim are angels with bodies.

3) In verse 4, the phrase ha nephalim are the progeny of the first two combined: half-human, half-angelic creatures.

If you have a body and you have certain genes, and you copulate with someone else who has a body of the opposite sex, there is every possibility that there will be a creature from the womb of the female. The problem is that many people think of angels having a halo around their head or as spirits without bodies. However, when you talk about spirits without bodies, you’re talking about demons as they are now, after the flood! But here we are talking about the antediluvian civilization, before the flood, when angelic creatures did have bodies. They were super creatures biologically, and it was a totally different civilization than what we have today! Similarly, there will be a totally different civilization in the Millennial reign of Christ. We know that from Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones] were on the earth in those days [they were on the earth in those days, meaning that they are not on the earth in these days], and also afterward, when the sons of the gods [the fallen angels like Zeus and Apollos] came in to the daughters of men, The phrase came in to is the kal future of the verb bo which is used for sexual relationships, as in Gen 39:13-17. The Bible says that the beni ha elohim have sex.

There is another viewpoint which states that the sons of God were children of Seth and were godly, and the daughters of men were sinful women from the line of Cain. This theory really has a lot of problems. First of all, we would have to say that all of Seth’s sons were godly and saved and going to heaven, and all the daughters of men were not. Secondly, unlike humanity, the half-angelic, half-human creatures possessed super intellect and super-strength, so much so, that violence and arrogance had to be restrained. They possessed high I.Q.’s in very strong bodies. Due to the influence of these creatures, the genetic destruction of true humanity was spreading throughout the entire world. This was a part of Satan’s scheme to stop the virgin birth to hinder our Lord from becoming true humanity (Isa 7:14;Isa 9:6, Heb 2:14; Heb 10:5).

So, in Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-human half-demon creatures] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward when the sons of the gods [demons] had sex with females of the human race, and had children by them, these children were the heroes who, from ancient history, were famous men. As a result of this demon attack, these fallen angels were confined to Tartarus, the third compartment of Sheol or Hades. These angels, like Sodom and Gomorrah, got involved with bestiality and homosexuality, with both humans and angels, and sexual immorality.

This is why we will study the parallel passage Jud 1:5-8, Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example, in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. Yet in the same manner these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties.

As well as 2Pe 2:4-11 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly thereafter; and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties, whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.

Gen 6:4 The Nephilim [fallen ones, half-angel, half-human] were on the earth in those days [in those days, not these days], and also afterward, when the sons of the gods [the fallen angels like Zeus and Apollos] had sex with females of the human race, and had children by them, these children were the heroes who, from ancient history, were famous men.” The demons who function in the postdiluvian civilization under the command of Satan no longer have sexual capabilities; they are classified as disembodied spirits. In the antediluvian civilization, the demons who invaded the earth had angelic bodies and sexual capabilities. With their bodies, these demons were able to have sex with human females, resulting in the satanic attempt to destroy true humanity on the earth. And it almost succeeded except for the grace of God in the cataclysmic universal flood.

Sermon: The principle of “Being Free” carries a great responsibility.

The importance of understanding the freedom that when we go to Heaven that our freed om in time means inequality both in time and in eternity.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed.”

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal” = they are responsible for the decisions that they make as believer-priests and Royal ambassadors.

We are very familiar with one of the passages that the apostle Paul taught; Gal 3:26-28.

In 2Pe 1:1, we are all given the same type of faith.

In 2Pe 1:2, we have the same Grace and prosperity being multiplied to us.

Next we have the prepositional phrase “en plus the instrumental means of the noun epignosis” which should be translated “by means of epignosis doctrine” or “by means of metabolized doctrine.”

Peter says, “faith of the same kind” which means that every believer is given the “same kind of faith” or the “same kind of doctrine,” as other believers are given if they desire to have it.

In 2Pe 1:1, we also have the same kind of righteousness which is two-fold, the righteousness of God the Father and the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:

Even the righteousness of God the Father and God the Son given to us so that we have the same kind of faith and the same kind of righteousness that all believers will have.

Not the true knowledge but it is through epignosis doctrine or metabolize doctrine of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

These refer to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours and by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:4 For by these [that is by faith, grace, metabolize doctrine; the righteousness of God, as well as the end of verse 3, God’s glory and excellence.

Dr. Martin Luther King was not right on target = “People are free to succeed or people are free to stand on their own decisions and motives and actions because all men are created equal.”

This statement has a lot of truth behind it but the real truth is that “People are only free in the sense that they have the freedom to make choices and the freedom to take responsibility for those choices.

We have differences in gender, race, Human I.Q., environment, talent, and even treasure, poor or rich, big or small, overt looks; etc,

It is always the “Real Truth” that was accurate and was based upon the principle that our Lord taught = the fact that mature believers should be able to reach their goals and their purposes, if they desire so.

That is concerning “The Doctrine of Truth” and the very fact that “Divine Accuracy was the order of the day,” and as far as “Divine Authority” is concerned — that authority is the “very accurate principle of doctrine.”

It was right on time as far as the principles of freedom are concerned .

We know that freedom, both spiritually and naturally, is the devil’s playground as far as freedom is concerned and we also know that freedom demands responsibility.

Freedom = our Lord lived in individuals responsibility as well as individual motivation.

Freedom = you must have your very own scale of values and priorities.

Having freedom, you must take the responsibility for every decision you make, as well as for your thoughts, motivations and actions are concerned.

This principle of “Being Free” is the greatest responsibility the world has ever known.

Freedom means some will take their volition and develop a system of priorities and stick to them, becoming organized in their minds and heart.

Someday you will answer for this use of your freedom to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, Rom 14:10-12.

Inequality is always the greatest monument to freedom.

Freedom means that believers who are constantly failing to execute the PPOG lack four things:

a. They have no true standards.

1. These believers have no effectiveness.
This is why God so often punishes and disciplines His people; = we have to be brought to the end of our resources before we realize what is important in life.

2. They have no coordination.

3. They have no performance, no momentum in the PPOG, no execution of the PPOG, no virtue, no use of the problem-solving devices, no production, and no glorification of God.

While the believer cannot lose his salvation, as a loser in the cosmic system, the privileges, rewards and decorations that are given to winners will never be his throughout all eternity.

The evaluator of each believer is the prince ruler of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ, John 5:22 “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

The Son has turned all judgment over to word of God or Bible doctrine.

The self-judgment of the believer in rebound, and the judgment seat of Christ, the terminal judgments of the tribulation, and the GWTJ at the end of the Millennium.

Just like the stars differ in glory so will each individual in their resurrection body differ in glory as well.

Heaven is a place of inequality and believers will be blessed even in the midst of their calling according to the following passages of recognition.

Some will have the crown of righteousness for loving His appearing or being totally occupied with TLJC and producing divine good, 2Ti 4:8.

There will always be some believers who desire to study and teach concerning the life of God in the souls of man.

Some will have the crown of life for enduring trials, heartaches, disasters and coming out glorifying the Lord, James 1:12, Rev 2:10.

James 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Some will have the incorruptible crown for mastering their O.S.N., 1Co 9:24-27.

Some will have the crown of rejoicing for being soul winners, 1Th 2:19; For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

Some will have the crown of glory for being willing to feed the flock of God, 1Pe 5:4.

There is the warning regarding crowns, in Rev 3:11, “Hang on to what you have, so that no one takes away your crown.”

2Jo 1:8 Watch yourselves, that you might not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.

It is important to us that the ultimate reward or decoration when we are abiding in Heaven will be the order of the morning star.

The winner who receives some of the crowns I mentioned earlier not only has vast estates in the eternal state, but he receives this decoration and others that go with it.

This decoration is taken from and named after our Lord’s Third Royal Patent or Title which is, “the King of kings, Lord of lords, the bright Morning Star,” (Rev 22:16; 2Pe 1:19.

It is a part of the new order of chivalry in the eternal state for the royal family.

This decoration is awarded for the maintenance of spiritual maturity in what may be called an ultra-supergrace status.

Rev 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.”

2Pe 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

Rev 2:26-28, “Furthermore, the winner, even he who keeps my assignments [executes the pre-designed plan of God] until the end [perpetuation of spiritual maturity through evidence testing], to him I will give authority over the nations.”

Verse 28, “Furthermore I will give to him the order of the morning star.”

The mature believer will be a king over a Gentile nation and rule during the Millennium.

Receiving this decoration is the highest manifestation of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ in the Church-age.

This same title was given to him at the ascension and session and is related to both the strategic victory and tactical victory of the angelic conflict.

Num 24:17 “I see Him, but not now, I behold Him, but not near. behold, a star [Christ = the morning star] shall come forth from Jacob [First Advent] and a scepter shall rise from Israel [Second Advent].”

Bible doctrine is related to Christ as the morning star in 2Pe 1:19-21, “And the morning star has come up” (Second Advent).

Prin-The order of the morning star is named after our Lord’s royal title and is given for historical impact in the Church age.

It authorizes the recipient to reign with Christ in the Millennium and hold the highest privileges for all eternity.

These believers can eat from the Tree of Life in the Paradise of God, located in the New Jerusalem .

John 15 = He will teach His disciples after He died spiritually on the cross and He was buried and raised from the dead.

Our Lord has one more important doctrine to teach His disciples as we begin chapter 15, where we get into the Gethsemane discourse.

As they were walking together, all of a sudden we have a new concept that the disciples had not heard before.

The Vine and the branches; Positional Truth; the Baptism of the Spirit; the body of Christ; underserved suffering; the intimacy that our Lord desires; the bride of Christ; etc.

We are also taught the doctrine of positional sanctification (our union with Christ) and the grace provision of the filling of the Spirit, to make it possible for the believer to produce divine good.

There is also the importance of impersonal unconditional agape love; underserved suffering; divine discipline; the subject of election; John 15:16 by the phrase “You did not choose Me, but I chose you.”

In verses John 15:1 8 we have the production of phase 2, living the spiritual life in time.

In verses John 15:9 17, we have a dissertation on true biblical love.

In verses John 15:18 27, we have the hostility of the cosmos or the world system.
